Its a bliss to have a cup of hot chocolate with churros on a cold winter morning. A perfect place for breakfast . Kids enjoy the churros with hot chocolate

Una churrería como las de toda la vida. Suelo ir todas las semanas. El chocolate está rico, los churros y las porras excelentes. El sitio es bastante espacioso. Dispone de mesas en el local y con suficiente separación. Por poner una pega, últimamente el chocolate no está lo suficiente caliente cuando lo sirven, sale templado de la maquina. Disponen de envases para llevar. Últimamente pido en barra y lo tomo en casa calentando el chocolate.

Buena zona y se desayuna bien. Muy concurrida pero tuvimos suerte y pudimos coger mesa. Me sorprendió la cola de gente en otra parte de la churrería para llevar. El servicio no te recoge las mesas.

Very fresh Churros any time of the day....

Negocio que da cierto recuerdo a negocio tradicional de barrio. Me gustan más los churros. Las porras son de buen tamaño.

Churreria en el barrio de Sanchinarro de madrid, situada en una zona de bastante afluencia ya que la rodean los hospitales (sanitas y hm), y corte inglés. El ambiente es bastante ruidoso (música alta y reggaeton), aparte de con humo. Pedimos una barrita con tomate (muy simple, tomate sin más, 0 elaborado), y una porra ( la porra muy muy rica y recién hecha). El precio es bastante elevado, para lo que es en conjunto todo.

Pues es un sitio bastante regular. Porras densas, poco crujientes, churros insípidos... Y precios bien subidos. Mucho ruido. Cualquier bar normal es mucho mejor.

I've been going there for many years, but I don't know if they changed owners or staff this year, but it's gone downhill. The last two times I went, I had a run-in with a waiter, a young man with glasses who seemed to bump into me. I don't know if he has something against me, but the other staff were lovely and very friendly. Best regards.

I'm so sorry to leave this review because I really appreciate that there's a churro shop in Sanchinarro... but they served me cold! Okay, I can accept that, maybe because of the price. But the service from the young woman who served me was awful, very inhumane, almost like a robot who didn't want to help me. As a Latino, and someone who's often said to be more "physical," she was the complete opposite. Her service was terrible. I think I'll join the other comments saying I won't be going back, and if you're reading this review, I recommend you go somewhere else, unless they improve their service.

Mala experiencia. Aun estaba tomándome el café y viene un camarero (extranjero) con la bayeta y una bandeja ,sin preguntar NADA, se pone a recoger y a pasar la bayeta, nos mira mal y claro, nos oblig…

Día de reyes, 17:40 y hemos estado una hora de espera en un pedido para llevar a casa. Entiendo que son días complicados pero había una falta de previsión notoria y el ritmo de trabajo de los empleados era de lo más lento que he visto. Solo uno de los chicos estaba preparando churros, masa… los otros dos chicos y una chica mirando y sin alterarse lo mas mínimo viendo una cola que salía por la puerta.

Una pena el funcionamiento del personal de esta churrería desde un tiempo atrás, una hora de espera para recoger un domingo cualquiera, un día de Reyes vamos cualquier día. El problema lo mal que gestionan los empleados la manera de trabajar, un negocio en el que solo trabaja un trabajador de los seis que hay.

If it was bad before, now with new owners it's even worse. They don't know how to make churros; they're raw inside. The oil will wreck your stomach, and the chocolate is nothing special. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what a decent churro is and should try other places before commenting.

It's a shame, we went with my children, really looking forward to eating churros. It said it opened at 5:00 PM. We arrived at that time and started waiting, since the curtain was only partially open (we saw a young man enter from a distance). Thinking it would only take a few minutes for the place to open and for us to be able to go in, more people started arriving. There was a line of about 10 people, with children, babies… in 10-degree weather. We all waited until 5:30 PM, knocked on the door, but no one came out. Not even to let us know they were delayed or anything… they lost all their customers for that afternoon, because we all left. They might have the best churros, but the service was terrible.

On January 2nd, I called first thing in the morning to order hot chocolate, churros, and porras (a type of fried dough pastry) for the afternoon of January 5th for the 40 family members who come to our house every year for an afternoon snack after the Three Kings' Day parade. After calling many times and getting no answer, I finally got lucky and placed the order, just like the previous year. Relaxed and with my order in place, I forgot about it. However, on the afternoon of the 4th, suddenly and to my surprise, a waiter from the churro shop called me and calmly told me that my order was canceled because his boss hadn't informed the employees that the Sanchinarro churro shop wouldn't be open in the afternoon this year. He offered no alternative and hung up, leaving me stranded the day before, with less than 24 hours' notice, even though I had placed the order two days prior, without an afternoon snack for 40 people, and on Three Kings' Day: a disaster of customer service, as well as a complete mess of internal organization and communication between the boss and employees. On the morning of January 5th, I found myself with nothing to offer my 40 guests for an afternoon snack. Thanks to a friend I told on the phone, with whom I had arranged to meet that morning in the new food court at the Bernabeu stadium, my problem was solved. Across from the bar where we were meeting for appetizers is a wonderful churro shop called 1902. It's beautiful, spotless, and everything looked amazing. They made over 100 churros, 30 porras (a thicker type of churro), and hot chocolate in adorable little colorful, recyclable pitchers in just 5 minutes. The price was fantastic, so I put it all in the car and drove straight back to my house in Sanchinarro. It was a real find, a thousand times better, in every way, than the one in the Sanchinarro neighborhood.

New Year's Day, no churros, only porras (they'll take less time and be more profitable...). A 20-minute queue for takeaway even though there were waiters doing nothing at the bar, plus the staff were rude when ordering and asking questions. The place was also filthy... It's a real shame because the porras and hot chocolate were delicious.

It's a shame because the churros and porras are excellent, but the staff, or at least some of them, leave much to be desired. Some of us waited in line for 45 minutes for takeout while the counter and café were turned over two or three times. Instead of helping out, they were just staring, joking around, nothing serious... but come on, if you have breakfast there, everything's done in 15 minutes, and for takeout, you have to wait 45 minutes. They gave me churros and porras in two paper bags. Before leaving, I asked again if they had plastic bags. The superior being in the black jacket and glasses told me it was 5 cents. I told him I'd pay by card (I didn't have any cash), he said no, and that if I couldn't read, it wasn't his problem... 45 minutes waiting and that guy treats you like that. They treat the people in the takeout line like we're enemies, and we pay the same, and it's not the first time, which is why I'm mentioning it here.

Last time I'm going. The waiters were unpleasant. A poor old lady in her eighties sat at the bar because the place was full and there was no table service. She waited, and when no one attended to her, she asked to be served… the response was that she had to queue on the other side of the place… no waiter did anything else. Zero sensitivity. What surprises me most is that the woman who made the comment was pregnant… anyway… a lack of tact. Dirty glasses; you have to clean them and be careful not to touch them too much so you don't get oil on your hands.

We went this morning and it was terrible. We'd been there before and it was fine. The coffee was terrible, maybe a change of brand. The churros/porras were hard and cold. The staff were unfriendly and unkind. In short...last day of our visit.
