Today, three friends and I had lunch there. It's true the place is small, but it's cozy, and the temperature was perfect. The food was spectacular; the waiter even recommended ordering the rice dish for two, and we all had more than enough. I love it when they're honest and upfront. The starters were delicious: tomato salad with mackerel and croquettes. The service was incredibly fast, and the mixed rice dish was amazing. We didn't get to try the desserts because we were full, but I saw them around, and they looked delicious. We had a great time and will definitely be back.
We had our Christmas lunch today, January 1st, as a family. Everything was exquisite. The house aperitif was delicious. The starters were high quality and plentiful. The croquettes were amazing, and the cheese was fantastic. The main courses were very well prepared. The beef sirloin with the special cranberry sauce was a 10/10. I also tried the Uruguayan beef, and it was incredibly flavorful and tender. Those who could (we couldn't eat more) enjoyed the varied and delicious-looking desserts. The service and attention from the waiters were incredibly attentive and friendly. The restaurant isn't very big and was packed. Reservations are essential, as it's no surprise with this level of quality. My sister made a reservation because she had already had the set dinner menu. It's definitely worth trying this menu, and we'll definitely be exploring more of their offerings.
We found it by chance while looking for somewhere to eat near our apartment. A GREAT FIND! The food was delicious. Excellent service. Great value for money. We'll definitely be back 😊.
Excellent service and quality food. We ordered burrata salad and black pudding as starters, and oxtail and scarlet prawn rice dishes. Everything was very good.
Very good value. There's a dinner menu for €16 per person, including dessert and a drink. The dishes are varied and well prepared. I recommend making a reservation, as it's quite busy.
My family and I had a delicious dinner at an excellent price. Gabriela's service was wonderful, the restaurant is very cozy, the food is excellent, prepared with care, and everything is impeccable. We will definitely be back! P.S. Thank you so much for the special veggie moussaka!
I loved the experience. It's clearly a high-end place, with very elaborate dishes made with top-quality ingredients and superb service. For starters, we tried the salmon salad with mango, avocado, mixed greens, berries, and dressing. Super tasty and fresh. Their toasts are very good, although some don't hold up well to the juices of the ingredients and the bread falls apart. Aside from that, the combinations are excellent. Fresh and perfectly fried baby squid on a subtle black aioli. The chicken with brie and caramelized onion was wonderful. What a sweet and savory combination! The chicken was incredibly tender and juicy. Then the star was the cachopo. Huge, ideal for sharing, and at a super competitive price! 20 euros is enough for 2 or 3 people. With very good ham and plenty of cheese. Crispy breading. For dessert, the cheesecake. It was the least exciting part for me, as it had an excessive amount of red berry jam; you could barely taste the cake. The service was outstanding. Great place to eat near the Metropolitano. We had a wonderful meal at Nido. We started with a salmon, mango, and avocado salad—absolutely delicious! 😃 Then we had two toasts: one with veal escalopes, Dijon mustard, and fried peppers ☺️, and another with black pudding, roasted apple, and a poached egg—delicious! ❤️ We especially loved their super-sized, aged burger with bacon, goat cheese, and caramelized onions, served with a fresh vinaigrette and red berries. It was huge and flavorful, and the meat was cooked to perfection! 🥰 The teriyaki baby squid were excellent and unique! 😃😃 I wouldn't have ordered them otherwise, and we're so glad we did. We finished with their cheesecake. We have to go back and try their rice dishes; everyone raves about them! ☺️ 💵💵Great value for money. Thank you so much for the invitation. 👩🏽🍳👨🏽🍳Yassenia was very attentive and friendly. 🕵🏽♀️ Nido has a long history, having opened its doors in December 2015. 💚This restaurant is part of the Nido group, along with Il Quattro and El Refugio.
I had previously had dinner from their evening menu. This time we went for lunch, enjoying the terrace where we were very comfortable. We ordered the baby broad beans with ham to share, which were very good and a hearty dish, and the sliced sirloin (1kg). The meat was delicious; we ordered it rare and it was served perfectly. They also gave us a generous portion of potatoes. The meal was for three, and we ended up stuffed. The service was attentive and pleasant. I will definitely return and recommend it without hesitation.
We were 6 people, we ordered 2 portions of croquettes (very good!! Each portion includes 2 of squid in its ink, 2 prawns and 2 of ham) 2 portions of cuttlefish (it was very well done) and 3 paellas, rice a banda (the one I liked the most) del señoret (very good too) and presa and mushrooms (a bit dry for my taste) The service was correct. The place was clean and cozy.
Weekday lunch. 15€ menu, good value. I tried the rice with shrimp and asparagus, which was very good. For the main course, I had sea bass. Dessert was spectacular. I just wanted to say that we saw people eating from the set menu, but they were given an appetizer, while we weren't. It's a nice touch that's usually appreciated. The waitress was friendly; the man was a bit serious, not a smile. The service was a bit slow. I have to say I liked it. I don't eat the 15€ set menu every day, but it's worth it once in a while.
We went to lunch for a family celebration. We ordered starters of croquettes and cuttlefish with garlic sauce. The croquettes—we ordered a variety of croquettes: squid, ham, and prawns, and squid and ham—were fine, but the prawns were tasteless. Then we ordered rice dishes: with red prawns, black rice, seafood señoret, and a banda. They were passable, but, to my taste, they lacked flavor. The señoret and a banda had a lot of paprika but didn't have much of a broth base. A banda is served with prawns, cuttlefish, and grilled sea bream. I don't know why they're grilled when they're supposed to be part of the broth base. The black rice was tough and, like the rest, lacked a broth base flavor. The service was very inattentive, as we ordered drinks and they arrived after we'd finished eating, along with other unsightly details. The value for money was expensive. You can eat there, but there are better places.
Although they got our order wrong, we took it back and they accommodated us perfectly. We and the waitress used a translate app on phone and we got the order we needed without any problems or fuss. Problem was they said 20 minutes for the new order and it was over half an hour and we were sitting outside in the dark at 10.30pm.
We decided to go based on the good reviews, and truth be told, we weren't disappointed, but we weren't convinced by the service we received. The food is good, that's undeniable; it's good quality and flavor, and it's also adequate in quantity. But the service...that's a different story. The time between courses was fine (it's true that we were practically alone), but the place was unbearably hot because the air conditioning worked intermittently. We had to ask for drinks more than once; the garlic sauce we ordered halfway through the service was brought to us almost at the end after asking for it twice. It's a shame that good food is overshadowed by poor service. I don't know if we'll return.
Not really happy with the food quality 🤢
