We love this Taverna. It is real, down to earth, and offers a good service with quality food and drink served in a simplistic style. Don't expect any airs and grazes or you will be disappointed! The cold cuts and cheese are excellent, especially the Lomo! Reasonable quality and excellent selection of wine at a really good price point. Please give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Lugar mítico del barrio de lavapies, donde tiran las cañas muy bien y donde puedes picar algo. La única pega que le puedo poner es la falta de simpatía del personal. Pero es un imprescindible del barrio por el que pasar a tomar unas cañas

Autenticidad en estado puro y una de los sitios dónde mejor tiran las cañas en Madrid!! Su carta también está genial,recomiendo el hummus y las tostas!! Altamente recomendable!!

Buena taberna de Lavapiés para tomar vinos y quesos. No tiene cocina así que las raciones son tablas de queso variadas, salazones, conservas, embutidos y canapés. Tiene terraza con buen tiempo y el dueño sale de vez en cuando a ofrecer tapas a los clientes.

Taberna típica de Madrid, sitio bastante clásico, pequeño pero acogedor, precios asequibles y buen trato. Las tostas son famosas y están muy buenas. Se puede cenar por 10-15€/persona.

Bar castizo en pleno barrio de Lavapiés. Suelen poner una pequeña tapa junto a la bebida. La carta tiene buena pinta y precios razonables. Tienen amplia oferta de vinos. Hay Terraza fuera y el trato es muy agradable. Recomendable.

Hacía tiempo que no iba y me encantó el lavado de cara que han hecho. Muy agradable. Hay que ir.

Todo muy rico, la cecina, los quesos y un humus que era un espectáculo, pero el servicio es mejorable.

Raciones muy pequeñas, para una persona o dos. No tienen extractor por lo que son casi todo tapas. Las tapas muy buenas. El trato según el camarero que te atienda..

Tapas bar near Embajadores. Low key and friendly, perfect for a cold one in the middle of a long day.

Los camareros súper desagradables, cero recomendable. Estábamos solos prácticamente y nos dijeron que silencio un par de veces. El camarero nos respondió de forma muy descarada e irrespetuosa. Si vais con amigos id a otro sitio de esa calle antes.

El sitio muy bien, pero el servicio pésimo, a las 21:40 de la noche de un viernes se quedan sin pan para tostas, en un sitio que haces solo tostas y raciones de embutidos. Luego pedimos media ración de queso y otra media de melva y pimientos, +20mins esperando nos levantamos y pagamos, y el amablemente le comunico al camarero que el sitio muy bien pero el servicio podría mejorar puesto que no creo que sea tiempos de atencion para media ración de quesos, a lo que el camarero me responde que si quiero que me ponga yo detrás de la barra y lo haga en menos tiempo, que están hasta arriba. Recalcar que previamente nos han tardado otro tiempo en tomar nota y recoger la mesa. El camarero de gafas un prepotente y maleducado, aparentemente gerente, pero no se puede tratar a un cliente asi, si no eres capaz de servir media ración en 20 minutos, puedes replantearte cosas. Los demás camareros sin mas la verdad, un poco de amabilidad estaría bien pero viendo su superior como es lo comprendo. Decepción absoluta

Very unfriendly and confusing staff. We tried to sit at a free table outside, which was confirmed by guest sitting next to it, but suddenly a staff member rushed over, saying he knew better and we couldn’t sit there. So, we moved inside. When we ordered a beer, the woman pouring it looked annoyed, like she didn’t want to serve us. But the worst part was the bearded guy who told us we couldn’t play cards! He seemed a bit too drunk to understand, but he mumbled something in Spanish about playing cards being ‘very bad’ because of superstitions. We were only playing something like Uno… If you want to feel unwelcome, go here. But I wouldn’t recommend it – there are much better, friendlier places nearby.

Inside of the place it stinks with cheap beer that covers the whole floor of the place. The staff is very unfriendly and clearly only wants locals to enter the place. We sat there with my friends and wanted to play some cards but then a beardy guy approached us and told is that it's prohibited to play cards there. Clearly some shady voodoo stuff going on as he was barely standing while talking to us. Salami we got to accompany our beers was one of the worst I had in my mouth. Very gummy and with close to no taste at all. Avoid if you're not a local and want to spend time in a nice place with nice people around.

I never post bad reviews but this Time I'm forced to do an exception. I'm sorry to say, but it was quite a bad experience. Restrooms were trashed and not cleaned in some Time. There was no soap at all. The entire place might benefit from some Deep and honest cleanup. Very poor customer service. Staff was quite rude and unfriendly. It take ages to get someone attention. Be aware of your orders. They might have some problems with calculating everything correctly, but I guess that what you get if you are obviously understaffed. On The other hand: There was no problem with merging tables and the location is quite convenient. The food was also looking good (didn't try it, but I'm sure they got higher hygienic standards in The kitchen). I'm sure it was just a bad day, maybe they are doing better on less busy days?
