We thoroughly enjoyed visiting this restaurant. The waiter on the patio greeted us warmly, and his service was efficient and friendly. To start, we really liked the coffee, which was a welcome relief as we were exhausted after traveling overnight. The breakfast of tortilla with tomato toast was just what we needed to recharge. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is a mix of tourists and locals. I would definitely return to try more of their menu items.

Overall a lovely experience to sit on the patio and eat and people watch after shopping at El Rastro on a Sunday. Laid back, excellent service, very attentive, friendly staff and the food was delicious. Cesar was a wonderful waiter! The boquerones en vinagre was a large serving and absolute perfection.

Restaurante Peyma is a genuine Spanish café in Lavapiés, loved by locals. It’s not a tourist spot, but a place where you can enjoy great traditional food at fair prices. The simple setting doesn’t do justice to the delicious dishes, from churros to tortilla skewers. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Don’t judge by the look—it’s a real gem for authentic Spanish cuisine.

Good breakfast, reasonable price, outdoor seating, the tortilla y pan tomate is very good. The tortillas are on the softer side just in case you like them a little more dry but it’s how I like it, especially on a hot day. A lot of locals here too

We were lucky enough to find this restaurant. San Fernando was packed, and on our exit, we found this little gem. The atmosphere is great, the staff was very helpful and really spot on with their suggestions. Everything we ordered was delicious, scrumptious and the portions were huge. I highly recommend to ask for the day's menu.

This was our first lunch after getting to Madrid and it was SO SO GOOD!! The waitress spoke English and was very friendly to us. The food came out fast and delicious. She even brought our smaller plates so we can share the dishes. The daily lunch menu, which is 3 courses, appetizer, main dish, dessert or coffee, portions are big and tasty. If you are in the area (which you should be because the Mercado de San Fernando is literally two doors down), do not hesitate to try out this local gem!

Es un clásico del barrio y un bareto español auténtico pero no te salgas de ahí. Es decir, la tortilla (que la recomiendan bastante) está bien y el resto de raciones igual. Si esperas algo espectacular pues no es pero da lo que promete que es comida de bar en una zona que ya es más que concurrida y que está perdiendo bares como este.

Paseando por la zona he descubierto este restaurante. Me ha gustado un montón. Dado que era la hora del desayuno, sólo he probado las torrijas. Riquísimas. En mente: volver más veces a probar las croquetas, sepia y por supuesto el cocidito madrileño....madrileño... Estoy segura que acertaré en mi elección. Ya os contaré.

Fuimos un par de amigos a tomar algo. Las croquetas muy ricas. Los huevos rotos también, nos hubiese encantado algo más de cantidad, pero bien. Por lo visto deben dar desayunos ya que tenían todo preparado. Tienen terraza grande que está llena muchas veces. Buen horario no cierran hasta la 1 de la noche aprox nos dijeron. Y por lo que se ve deben abrir bastante pronto

El local como diseño es un restaurante de barrio muy sencillo pero como estaba lleno de gente, decidimls comer allí. Por un menú de 13€ tienes 4 primeros, 4 segundos, pan, bebida y postre. De cantidad está muy bien y es comida casera. Está bastante bueno. Los empleados, muy amables.

Todo ok. Buena atención y rapidez, el desayuno estaba bastante bien en todos los aspectos. Pan tierno y buena cantidad. Buen sitio para desayunar.

Muy bueno y servicio atento. El menú del día me costó 14€ en sábado y 20€ en domingo, es una opción muy recomendable. No pongo las 5 estrellas porque me cobraron 3€ por un café bombón, por lo demás todo inmejorable.

A very worthwhile menu option for 13€ in 2024. First dishes (Gaspacho- a cold tomato soup - and melon with smoked ham were really nice. For seconds we had pork with french fries and a nice sauce. Soda, Beer, bread and coffee were included. The shades outside the restaurant aren't wide enough to provide shadow for all the tables, but the sun wasn't too strong in April, even if stronger than usual. Not the most heartwarming service, but the food quality made up for it.

La atención ha sido buena pero me ha parecido algo caro. Había leído que ponían tapas con la bebida, pero nos han puesto 3 rondas de patatas de bolsa y una de chorizo. El pincho de tortilla a 4,50€ y la bebida 3,50€ me parece algo excesivo aunque he de decir que estaba bastante buena y que te lo ponen con una tostadita de pan con tomate

Hace un tiempo era un excelente sitio para comer y tapear. Ahora me parece caro para la calidad que dan, la cual ha caído mucho. Eso sí. Está en un muy bueno y se ve mucho ambiente.

Not happy with the sandwich chorizo .. just bread and sausage …Proper chefs could make something much better than this .. put a sauce , some salad or potatoes to make it good .. like this the food is very dry and not easy to eat it

Mala experiencia, siempre hemos venido aquí pero ya me acordaba porque hacía unos años que ya no veníamos. Pedimos la cuenta y nos dan una que ni ponía cada cosa, le digo que me lo den que ponga los precios de casa cosa y se han tirado más de 10 minutos en caja modificando precios hasta que cuadrase lo que nos han cobrado, por no esperar más no he pedido carta de bebidas para ver todos los precios a ver qué se han inventado, pero bueno una pena. Y ni hablar de la ración de bienmesabe.... En la vida me han puesto eso así.

Pues un restaurante bien, pero la atención al cliente es pésima, por parte del camarero de terraza unas prisas horribles una sensación de me quiero ir a mi casa. Una vergüenza que haya gente contratada así. Unas formas no dignas de este restaurante. El camarero que lleva un reloj blanco sin gafas. Una vergüenza total, además de los precios inflados de vergüenza de personal una pena la verdad.
