A elegant and cozy restaurant that offers a fine dining experience. Combining good service and design. For starters we ordered the artichoke with spinach it was ok, also the orange avocado and grape salad which was great. For main dishes we ordered the picanha great but the wayu beef and it was top, put some salt and enjoy the ride. We also ordered the truffle linguini and it was delicious. For dessert we ordered the Cheescake but meh. In general it’s a great restaurant and will try more dishes next time.

One of the best restaurants we have been to in a long time. We went here based on recommendations from multiple friends and it didn't disappoint. Our price per person was a little higher than average as I got the wagyu steak but all round it was reasonably priced for the quality of food we got. Would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience at Ten Con Ten in Madrid. I didn’t have a reservation, and although the restaurant was very busy, the staff still managed to find me a table, which I really appreciated. That said, I’d definitely recommend making a reservation as the place fills up quickly. I ordered the picanha, which was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The food overall is amazing, and the atmosphere is lively yet elegant. The hostess and the entire staff were extremely kind, attentive, and professional, which made the lunch even more enjoyable. Ten Con Ten is definitely a must-visit in Madrid, and I will absolutely return.

We are not sure why this is only a 4.3 rating. We loved our dishes, the restaurant vibes, and the staff were accommodating. The spinach croquets, truffle linguine and the sirloin in perigo sauce were so great! The drinks were also fun and tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Just to echo all the all the other reviews - this place has an excellent atmosphere, the food is very good, and the service is outstanding. Highly recommend anyone who is visiting Madrid. The beef and the starters were delicious. You should also check out the wine cellar in the back. The only thing that I would say is that one got the very strong impression that tourists were all piled in in the front of the restaurant which may or may not be to your liking. In any case highly recommend this restaurant!

Ubicado en la calle Ayala, fuimos para celebrar nuestra graduación de máster. Reservamos mesa con dos semanas de anticipación porque el restaurante suele llenarse bastante. Pedimos varios platos: risotto con trufa, picantón tikka, solomillo con trufa, lasaña de alcachofa, linguine tartufado, escalopines, además de aperitivos, vinos y cócteles como Aperol Spritz y Margarita. Todo salió por 378,50 € para el grupo de 8 personas que éramos. La comida estaba increíble, destacamos especialmente la lasaña de alcachofa y el solomillo, que fueron de lo mejor de la noche. El ambiente es elegante y animado, ideal para una ocasión especial. Muy recomendable para celebraciones importantes o cenas con amigos.

En general la experiencia fue buena. Pedimos la lubina, que estuvo deliciosa, la merluza, que estaba bien aunque la salsa tenía un sabor demasiado fuerte, y la lasaña de alcachofa, que nos pareció muy original y rica. De postres probamos la tarta Ten con Ten, muy buena; la tarta fina de manzana, también rica; y la Leita, que fue la menos lograda de los tres. El lugar está agradable, aunque nos sentaron cerca de la cocina y se escuchaban bastante fuerte las conversaciones entre los meseros y el ruido de platos y cubiertos, lo cual restó un poco a la experiencia. En general, buena comida y merece las 4 estrellas.

SIGUIENDO LA ESTELA DEL GRUPO PARAGUAS EN MADRID POSITIVO: Ubicación: Situado en zona de oferta culinaria por excelencia. La calle Jorge Juan es una de esas calles de Madrid que ofrece innumerables restaurantes de prestigio en pocos metros. Trafico normalmente denso. Buena conexión por transporte público. Estacionamiento: Servicio de aparca coches. Posibilidad en estacionamientos justo delante del restaurante. También es factible encontrar estacionamiento en la misma calle con tarifas de pago y en algunos parkings cercanos. Establecimiento: Acceso para personas de movilidad reducida mediante elevador. El local esta diseñado para ofrecer a los clientes diversos espacios dependiendo de las necesidades. Desde salones privados de una mesa, a zonas algo mas amplias pero mas intimas a un comedor general en la entrada. El restaurante destaca por una decoración atractiva, seria y muy funcional. Las mesas esta separadas para permitir el paso entre ellas y garantizar la privacidad de las conversaciones. El menaje de mesa esta muy bien cuidado con detalles en platos y cubiertos. Carta: Alta calidad de producto bien preparado y muy bien presentado. Precio/Calidad bueno, incluso para estar en esta zona de la milla de oro. Carta de vinos: Variada y de mucha calidad. Servicio: Atento, agil y servicial. Opinión personal: Ten Con Ten es otra apuesta del grupo Paraguas. He visitado algunos de ellos y siempre me sorprenden por su oferta y, sobretodo, por la calidad de sus platos. A MEJORAR: Tengo que destacar un detalle negativo de mi visita. El servicio de pan. Y no, no es su precio, que desde luego es exagerado. De los seis panecillos que venían en la cesta, uno de ellos, venia mordido. Es decir, ¿venia de otra mesa? No lo se… quiero pensar que no es así…Pero viendo la reacción de la camarera no sé que decir…(ver foto). NEGATIVO: Nada que destacar.

Excelente lugar en el barrio de Salamanca. Fui por el risotto de trufa y no decepciono. Ademas ordenamos una ensalada de tomates confitados y queso de cabra que fue espectacular. También comí langostinos con coco y curry que estuvieron normal. El ambiente muy bueno y la atención normal. El único detalle negativo es que no te mencionan que te cobran la cesta de pan y las aceitunas, es decir sino las deseas igual te las colocan en la mesa y no son cortesía.

I recommend the creamy risotto and sirloin skillet with Parmesan. For desserts i recommend the Apple pie. Pros: their food is amazing and they have a very comfortable seating area. Cons: Its really and tight, and its hard to navigate. It takes really long to make the food.

Good fancy restaurant with decent but not spectacular food. Interior and other guests add up but the service isn't great. Overall good quality isn't according the price. Food is plain menu and the service is below you would expect. Waitress was talking with colleague while putting down plates without telling what we are exactly eating. Ok for a quick bite but if you are looking for a specific experience look somewhere else for this money.

Un restaurante abarrotado y muy pequeño. Los camareros y comensales no han parado de dar golpes a la silla cada vez que pasaban. Recomendación: no te sientes en el pasillo. La comida bastante regular. Las alcachofas de entrantes, muy reguleras. Les faltaba sabor. Los principales: la hamburguesa (no es una hamburguesa al uso, no lleva pan) estaba bien. Los escalopines de solomillo al parmesano, para no volver a pedirlos. Súper insulsos y sin gracia. Lo que más me ha gustado ha sido el postre de fresas. Hay sitios mejores en Madrid.

A ver el restaurante le falta la verdad, el rape muy soso sabiendo que es un pescado con tanto sabor no se como lograron hacerlo desabrido. El risotto estaba rico aunque había algo en el que no convencía un condimento que no pertenecía. Y la tarta de manzana le faltaba cuerpo. El helado que la acompañaba sin embargo 10/10

es un sí pero no.....es la segunda vez que vamos. Sí, la comida está buenísima, la carta tiene muy buena pinta, sobre eso, no podemos decir lo contrario. El falso risotto y las croquetas de faisán estaban increíbles. El pero viene por el precio, no es acorde, y a mayores un detalle que me parece terrible, es que sin pedirlo, te pongan un aperitivo y te lo cobren al final, eso no se hace, si quieres tener un detalle pues bien, pero luego no quieras cobrarlo, o en todo caso avisa no? rechazamos el pan cuando nos lo trajeron, pero aún asi, nos lo quisieron cobrar junto con el aperitivo 'de cortesía'.

The food quality and atmosphere were generally good, and the staff were polite. However, I would like to highlight an issue that affected my overall experience. Upon being seated, some food items were placed on our table without us ordering them or being informed that they would be charged. Only later, when we received the bill, did we realize that these items were included on the receipt. I understand that in Spain it can be common for bread or appetizers to be offered, but in my opinion it is very important to clearly inform customers in advance if these items are not complimentary and will be charged. Transparency in pricing helps avoid misunderstandings and makes customers feel more comfortable and respected. I hope the restaurant considers improving communication with guests in the future, as this small detail can make a big difference in the dining experience.

The reception was disorganized and unprofessional, which immediately created a bad first impression. Regarding the food, Risotto con Trufa was the only dish I actually enjoyed. Unfortunately, Solomillo Trufa (steak) was completely lacking in flavor and very disappointing. The rest of the experience did not stand out, and the service was below average. I’ve visited many restaurants at a similar level, but this one was extremely disappointing. Overall, a poor experience that I wouldn’t repeat.

Fuimos a comer el 25 de enero mi pareja y yo. Era un regalo de cumpleaños, y precisamente por eso —y por una cuenta que supera los 180 €— creo que es importante no perder la objetividad ni la perspectiva: es muchísimo dinero, y por ese precio uno espera comer muy bien, no simplemente “correcto”. Nuestra experiencia, lamentablemente, fue decepcionante. Empezando por el espacio, aunque a primera vista puede parecer acogedor, la realidad es que las mesas están excesivamente juntas. Se escuchan con total claridad las conversaciones de otras mesas y, si te toca una silla dando al pasillo, la incomodidad es constante: camareros y clientes pasan rozándote una y otra vez. Lo más incomprensible es que la otra mitad del restaurante estaba completamente vacía, con mesas montadas y listas para usar. No se entiende por qué se permite que los clientes estén hacinados, cuando hay espacio de sobra para ofrecer una experiencia mucho más cómoda. En cuanto a la comida, y siempre teniendo en cuenta el precio de los platos: El ceviche estaba correcto, sin más. A ese precio, cumplir no es suficiente. El tartar de salmón fue una gran decepción: totalmente insípido. Soy un gran aficionado al tartar, lo he probado en muchos sitios y lo preparo en casa. Sinceramente, dudo incluso que fuera salmón; parecía más bien un pescado tipo trucha salmonada, sin sabor alguno. El arroz con pato tampoco convenció. No es un arroz trabajado en conjunto, sino un arroz de estilo asiático al que se le añaden por encima unos trozos de pato asado. El resultado es deslavazado y muy por debajo de lo que se espera. Pero lo más grave fue el cochinillo. Por 43 €, uno espera un plato excepcional. En cambio, nos sirvieron dos trozos secos, con sensación de no ser un asado reciente (perfectamente podía tener uno o dos días), acompañados de una salsa que no tenía nada que ver con la tradicional del cochinillo. Muy decepcionante. Los precios de las bebidas, del pan/cubierto y del conjunto de la experiencia resultan desorbitados para lo que realmente se ofrece. Fuimos con ilusión, pero no lo recomendamos. Nos dio la sensación de ser más un restaurante de postureo, donde se paga mucho más por la imagen que por el producto o la ejecución. Da la impresión de que, incluso dejando esta crítica, les dará igual, porque el negocio funciona como una auténtica mina de oro. Como única nota positiva, el servicio fue atento, profesional y pendiente en todo momento. En ese aspecto, no tenemos absolutamente ninguna queja.

El peor servicio que e experimentado estuvo poco más de 1:30 y si tres veces tuve que buscar a alguien para ser atendida 15 min para que me ofrecieran bebida después yo busqué al personal para ordenar comida y por último me tuve que levantar a pagar por qué pasaron 40 minutos y nadie se acercó a levantarme el plato y menos cobrarme Ordené pícaña y ni pensar en ordenar postre

La relación calidad-precio no nos pareció para nada adecuada. Todo es muy caro para la calidad que ofrecen, empezando con las cervezas o el agua (una caña de Heineken, que es de las peores cervezas del mercado, 5€ por ejemplo). Un par de vermuts 15€...y así todo. La comida estaba rica, pero no justifica su precio. De entrantes pedimos ceviche y tartar de salmón. Mientras que el primero estaba muy rico y no le ponemos pega, el segundo estaba insípido: el salmón no sabía a nada. Seguimos con arroz con pato y con cochinillo. El primero rico, pero un plato muy normal con sabor a salsa de soja sobre todo. El cochinillo estaba seco y tuvimos que pedir extra de salsa...y el plato nada que ver con un buen cochinillo de los que puedes degustar en Segovia por ejemplo. Por el precio total que pagamos en otros restaurantes comes cosas de verdad extraordinarias. Aquí, si nos hubieran cobrado del orden de 100€, ya hubiera estado bien, pero pagamos 183€ (sin incluir ni vino ni postre). Madrid se está convirtiendo en un reclamo para gente con mucho dinero que no sabe distinguir entre comida rica pero normal y comida realmente buena, sino no me explico cómo este tipo de restaurantes, modernitos y muy caros pero con elaboraciones tan simples, subsiste.

Primeramente, teníamos reserva a las 21h y nos dieron la mesa a las 21:15h haciéndonos esperar en la barra. Eso nos chocó un poco por ser el restaurante que es. Respecto a la comida, no tenemos nada que objetar, todo lo que pedimos estaba exquisito y muy bueno. Pero lo que nos incomodó bastante fue que nos echaron de la mesa a las 11h trayéndonos la cuenta 6 veces a la mesa cuando aún teníamos el postre en la mesa y faltaban 2 cocktails por traernos. Finalmente, después de intentar 6 veces echarnos de la mesa, a cuyos intentos apuntábamos que nos faltaban los cocktails y tomarnos el postre, nos echaron de la mesa y nos llevaron a la barra. En la barra no se podía estar, había muchísimo jaleo de personas tomando, esperando a que les atendieran, a que les sentaran, teníamos a las chicas y el portátil para las gestiones de reserva literalmente al lado. Muy inesperado por parte de un restaurante así, nunca nos ha pasado.

We were in Madrid and made reservations to visit this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. It was 4 adults and 1 baby. We arrived early for our reservation and were asked to sit at the bar until our table was ready. After waiting about 15 minutes we were sat at the table. The atmosphere is clean and sophisticated. However very cramped. Other tables are less than an arm’s length away from you. We had multiple “servers” attend to our table. It seems as if there is one who takes the orders for drinks and food and another who checks in on the table, fills the water, and serves the food and another who comes to settle the bill. After ordering drinks they served us what we thought were complimentary bread and pumpkin soup, because it was not on the menu and no one at the table ordered it. They were in fact not complimentary at all. They appeared on the bill at the end of the dinner. When I inquired about the charge suddenly English was no longer understood. English is fine when ordering the pricey drinks and meals but not when there is a complaint or inquiry into the bill. Interesting. The drinks were good and the food was decent. This place was a nice visit but nothing spectacular. You’re not missing out if you don’t visit this place. I would have given it 3 out of 5 stars but I really don’t appreciate being given and charged for things I didn’t order. If the bread and soup is something they would like all guest to have and be charged for simply place a note on the menu or tell the guest as you serve them. I don’t appreciate sneaky money grabbing behavior over a couple euro and I felt that this was that. We were 4 adults and 1 baby, (who also had a whole meal) we spent plenty on drinks and food. If I were ever in Madrid I would not return here and I would not recommend others to visit. Not unless you like surprise charges mediocre service.

We found a COCKROACH in the cafe. This was a dinner reservation for my husband and I on the our last night in Madrid. First the waiter / manager came over to ask us for help with the menu, when we said no and that we already knew what we wanted he said ok but then proceeded to tell us what he thought we should order. After we put in our order, which happened to not include any of his recommendations we never saw this man again. We had a different waitress who was always bothered when we asked her for things. Because of the energy we were given we decided to just do cocktails and tapas instead of a full dinner. We were seated in a very bad area, I believe it was the salon. I absolutely do not recommend booking this area, lots of traffic as it is between the main dining room, bathrooms and private dining area. The bathrooms also not clean and locks not working which was surprising for an upscale restaurant and pricing. Overall food was mid. We ordered the spinach croquettes, salmon tartar with caviar and scallops. All mediocre for the price. Would not come here again. Very disappointed for our last dinner in Madrid to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The only good comment I have were the drinks were great and strong. Also noting if they give you the bread and olives and you don’t really want it, tell them so that they don’t automatically add 8€ to the bill. Apparently that’s a thing here. (Bread was also stale) I wanted to love this place as it was recommended to me from a colleague but unfortunately did not have a good experience.

⸻ We booked this restaurant in advance for a birthday celebration at a specific time, but when we arrived, no one paid attention to us. When we approached the hostess, she told us to wait until the table was ready. After about 15 minutes, we insisted on being seated, and suddenly a table was available. The person who took us to the table was unfriendly and gave us unpleasant looks. When I pointed out that she could at least be polite since we had a reservation, she arrogantly replied that she “opened the place especially for us.” When I explained again that we had booked for a set time and the table was late, she started arguing with me. When I told her she could stop, she actually told me that I could leave if I wasn’t happy. I left the restaurant angry. Later, since it was a birthday and we couldn’t find another restaurant without a reservation, my husband spoke with them and we returned. To my surprise, the rude employee turned out to be the manager herself. She never apologized, and instead kept looking at me and laughing. Even when we ordered wine, she and the sommelier were talking about me while glancing over and laughing. The service was absolutely terrible. The food was decent but nothing special, and while the cocktails were very good, the overall experience was ruined. Because of the disgraceful service, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone

We arrived at 11.30pm… a bit late, but the restaurant is open until late. No reservation, unfortunately. We are asked to wait 10min, the table is getting ready. In the meantime, we decide to sit at the bar, and we order 2 drinks. A nice music and vibe makes time pass by… 20min fly - no drinks and no table yet. We politely ask for the drinks - the bartender forgot them. We also politely ask for the table - “give me two more minutes” - even if there are tables which are empty. The drinks are with us, very good by the way. The lady who told us to wait a bit more disappears to never come back. NEVER. After 50mins and 2 drinks we decide to leave. Great vibe, good drinks, allegedly good food but terrible service. Good luck with the waitress or you’ll never have dinner.
