Me gustó mucho el trato, tenían música en vivo, muy buen ambiente! Sin duda regresaría a este lugar. Pedí pagar la cuneta con trasferencia y la propina en efectivo y sin ningún tema, no te hacían pagar le 15% como dicen otras publicaciones. Gio and Santiago provided first class service at this small seaside restaurant/beach club! We had reserved an all-inclusive package through Tripadvisor/Viator. Our package included snorkeling (which we did not use), 50 minute massage, covered lounge chair, all drinks and a basic lunch plate - chicken tacos. The club is tucked in among a densely-packed area of the public beach so be prepared for wandering vendors. I cannot speak highly enough of the top notch service thanks to Gio and Santiago.

Let me begin by saying Gio, and his wife are incredible hosts. A day before my arrival Gio was in contact with me through WhatsApp letting me know how happy he was to welcome us to his beach club. Gio is the type of business owner who meets you at your taxi drop off and walks you to his beach club and walks you back to taxis as well. Everyone staffed here was great. The two women who give massages were wonderful with my husband who much needed some TLC on his muscles. Everything is reasonably priced from the massages to the food and drink. We did attend on a rainy day but we did get to sit on the lounge seats in-front of the beach for a while. We will return!

Pitaya was fantastic! The staff are very polite, attentive, and accommodating. The taxi ride was short and not too complicated to get to from the port. We had our own lounge chairs, access to kayaks, great drinks, great food, and spectacular views on the beach. I would highly recommend this location!

If you're looking for a great way to spend a cruise stop in Costa Maya, I highly suggest making plans to enjoy the hospitality of Gio and his staff at the Pitaya Beach Club! You can expect great views on the beachfront, comfortable beach chairs / beds under the shade of the palms and their partially covered pergola or just hang at the bar where the breeze and constant shade keeps the temps quite cooler than out in the Caribbean sun! Exceptionally fresh tacos & they do not allow your glass to go dry! Then there are the phenomenal massages available from Lourdes & Belinda, WOW JUST WOW!!!

We visited Pitaya Beach Club during our cruise stop in Costa Maya and had a great experience. We opted for the all-inclusive day pass, which made everything super easy and relaxing. The communication before arrival was excellent. Gio reached out via email and text with clear instructions and was even waiting for us when we got there. Once at the beach club, the vibe was laid-back and welcoming. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The drinks were good—not the finest and strongest we've had—but refreshing and did the trick in the tropical heat. The mango margarita was the best! The food was definitely a highlight. The fish ceviche was absolutely delicious, fresh and zesty. The included fries and tacos in our package were simple but bursting with flavor. Sometimes it's the basics done right that really hit the spot. The beach itself was beautiful and not crowded at all, which made it perfect for lounging, swimming, and just soaking in the calm. There were many beach vendors trying to sell to you but we just politely decline. At the end, Gio personally walked us to our taxi to ensure we arrived safely back to our cruise, which was a really thoughtful touch. Highly recommend Pitaya Beach Club for anyone looking for a relaxing and smooth beach day while in Costa Maya. Cost in US dollars: Taxi is $5 per person each way. All inclusive package: check website for different packages and prices. We paid for 2 Deluxe with alcohol and 2 Deluxe with no alcohol. Total $210.

We booked the all inclusive VIP packages through Pitaya’s website for our cruise stop at Costa Maya. When our cruise ship ported, I had a text on my phone from Gio letting me know there would be a cab outside the port waiting for me, and that our cab fare was covered by the club. We took a short cab ride to Pitaya where they immediately greeted us and made us drinks! The staff (owners) were so warm and friendly. We got to go out on a boat to a really great reef and snorkel, we saw tons of fish, sea turtles and sting rays, they took pictures of us and for us snorkeling, and this was included in our VIP package through Pitaya. They brought us back and we laid down on massage tables on the beach for a relaxing 50 minute massage. This was hands down the best massage I have ever had (don’t tell my massage therapist at home) and I frequently get massages. They kept the drinks flowing for us the whole time, they had delicious drinks and a good variety to choose from. The fruit smoothie drinks were made with actual fresh fruit (not a mix like you would find in other places). We were able to do some great shopping near the beach club for souvenirs and all of the knock-offs people look for in Mexico at great prices. When we were ready to go back to the cruise ship (so we didn’t get left behind, which honestly wouldn’t have been so bad) Gio walked us out and put us in a prepaid cab that took us back to the ship quickly. The vibe at Pitaya is what really set it apart, it wasn’t crowded and just an amazing chill bungalow on the beach to hang out! We had such a great time, I would go back tomorrow if I could. We got so much value for our money, and an unforgettable experience in Mahahual.

They have craft beer on tap for a reasonable price, especially for the beachfront. Today's selection was kolsch and APA. Chill vibe with a cat named Rojo. Edit: Went back for another beer. Was charged 115 instead of the previous 100. 15% service charge, maybe? Paid with a credit card and the terminal converted from pesos to dollars at an 8% discount. It's unfortunate to see these things when they aren't disclosed on the menu. I'm happy to just pay cash!

La comida es muy buena. El ambiente es agradable pero el audio es muy malo y la DJ mezcla fatal.

Las cervezas tienen buen precio. Los cockteles no son relativos del tamaño con el precio, se me hacen pequeños y mas caros a diferencia de otros lugares vecinos. La comida esta buena y hay buenas promociones. Los fines de semana suelen hacer algun tipo de fiesta tipo antro terraza bar.

Vista genkal comida deliciosa solo cuidado por que no te dicen q cierran temprano y ya no puedes usar las palapas y. Camastros después de las 4, además que el que te ofrece entrar pide propina sobre la que ya te sugiere el restaurante eso es ser pasado de listo!

Nuestra experiencia en pitaya fue pésima. Las papas fritas estaban hechas en un aceite tan viejo que no las pudimos comer. Cuando quisimos pagar no andaba el posnet dé la tarjeta,nos hicieron caminar hasta su otra sucursal, donde tampoco pudieron resolver el problema. La encargada pretendía que dejemos una credencial y que caminemos kilómetros hasta el cajero para traer efectivo, siendo que el problema no lo teníamos nosotros, ridículo. todo por umos miseros 15 dolares. Finalmente una de mis tarjetas paso. Además el servicio no esta incluido en el precio y es del 15%

El costo por cerveza es algo elevado, una lata chica de modelo a 50 pesos, cerveza artesanal solo es una y no hay variedad, te cobran el 15% de propina cuando no debe ser obligatorio...

Para cenar no lo recomiendo pues tardan demasiado en servirte y la comida equis y fría, lástima porque el lugar es bonito y acepta pago con tarjeta.

El lugar era agradable ahora tienen preferencia por el turismo de los cruceros, les va pasar lo mismo que a Tulum
