We were lucky enough to have dinner and breakfast at this inn, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Excellent meat, delicious wild boar stew with chestnuts, incredibly juicy croquettes... And on top of that, we received exceptional service from Leti, who is lovely and makes you feel comfortable at all times. Highly recommended. They also have a high chair and are dog-friendly.
The two girls who served us are the heart and soul of the restaurant. They were delightful and highly professional. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The wild boar stew was excellent, the broken eggs were tasty, and the cheesecake was fantastic. A very pleasant place. Be aware that the menus shown in the photos are both current and older. Highly recommended.
Very good food. We reserved goat, but were told they wouldn't have it that day, but they would have suckling lamb. The lamb was fantastic, we loved it, accompanied by baked potatoes and a salad. For starters, we ordered half a pot of croquettes, amazing! Excellent service (what a lovely woman who served us), in a spectacular location.
The food was 10/10, but the service was 11/10. We found this place while on a motorbike tour through the Black Villages, and it was a real stroke of luck. Reservations are recommended. As for the food, there's little to add; it was 100% homemade and delicious. The waitresses treated us wonderfully. The quality/price ratio was excellent; I haven't eaten so well in a long time.
Excellent service. We arrived without a reservation at 1:00 PM and they told us that if we ordered before 1:30 PM they couldn't serve us because everything after that was by reservation only. The croquettes are a must-try—absolutely fantastic! Everything was delicious, but the service was outstanding; we felt very comfortable.
A must-visit restaurant if you're visiting the Black Villages. The owner, who is lovely, and her team provide excellent service. The restaurant is spacious, comfortable, and cozy in winter, with fantastic views of the mountains. The food is very good, with delicious classics like croquettes, fried pork belly, and fried cheese. The highlight is a top-notch roast kid goat and some delicious desserts. Highly recommended!
excellent food and staff
The best goat I've ever eaten, the place is very cozy. The food is 10/10, especially the croquettes and the delicious goat. Nieves, the owner, was incredibly attentive to us since my niece is allergic to many things, and we arrived to find a special bread on the table just for her because of her allergies. Thank you for everything, we'll be back soon!! 100% recommended
Upon arrival, we had an aperitif and they served us some potatoes with mojo picón sauce; they were delicious. We ordered portions to share and ended up very full. Everything was delicious, the portions were very generous. The ladies who served us were super friendly, and we felt very comfortable.
If you enjoy good food, this place is 100% recommended. The calamari is incredibly tender and homemade, and the croquettes are delicious and also homemade. All the portions are generous, as you can see in the photos; you'll definitely leave feeling satisfied. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely eat here again.
Good traditional food, decente price

Yesterday, Friday, after a hike through the beautiful surroundings, a large group of us had lunch, as we had already arranged. The food was wonderful, plentiful, with plenty of everything. The service was friendly, professional, and attentive. The place was cozy and had mountain views. Nieves was charming, as was the rest of the staff. When I asked if they also made homemade pastries, she replied that her sister, who owns a bakery in Guadalajara called LA CASITA, makes them, and she gave me a box of pastries. As we left the restaurant, we were each given a small bottle of water... A place I'd definitely return to.
Dimos con este local haciendo una ruta por los pueblos negros, teniamos pensado comer alli pero tenian bastante jaleo en la cocina,a pesar de eso nos ofrecieron cosas que ya tenian hechas. Pedimos dos…
It's a shame. It seems like a nice place, very well located, and the food seems to be of very good quality, but the service is disastrous. After an hour and a half of waiting, they bring us the meat cold, but cold. As for the starters, the torreznos were good, but the crust was undercooked. The migas were half-cooked, and the peppers were practically raw. They took the meat away to heat it up and brought it back lukewarm, bordering on cold. The dining room was packed, and only two waiters were serving. The owner must be making a killing saving the three waiters they need. We came from Madrid for this. Now for dessert... the grandma's cake was very good, the cheesecake was super creamy, the triple chocolate cake was unbelievable, and the apple blossom, which is to say, apple pie, had been cooked for a week... for God's sake... We switched it for a tiramisu, which was three sponge cakes with custard. Anyway... In the end, Marcos, the manager, came out and was in the kitchen. He apologized for the delay and for the service, which says a lot because it's not typical. By the way... they don't have non-alcoholic shots. We'll be back to try again. The least we can do is get a second chance, just for the manager's attitude. Ah... the shots, ummm.
Highly overrated, they claim to be the only restaurant in the area. Without knowing much about it, I'd say they're living off the profits of the past. There are good dishes (torreznos and croquettes) and others not so good (fried cheese), and others they just don't care enough to make properly (serving scrambled eggs with pre-made ham is unforgivable). The desserts aren't homemade, as I've read in some reviews; anyone who says that has a very poor palate. Otherwise, it was good. The service was very good, and we were treated wonderfully.
