Our regular Mexican restaurant closed down after 34 years, and we tried Hector's and were extremely pleased. The food was great, and the staff was great. Glad we found this place to get our authentic Mexican food from. We will definitely be going back. Food was hot and the margaritas were delicious.

We were recommended to eat here by some friends. We tried it out and loved it. The food is delicious and the restaurant itself is really nice and in a beautiful location. I ordered the chimichangas which were the best I’ve had honestly. My wife got enchiladas verdes which she said was delicious. We really liked their salsa too. Good margaritas too. The service was great and and the food came out quickly and hot. I would highly recommend Hectors of Lake Ridge.

Very good Mexican restaurant near Potomac Mills. So kind Staffs, food is delicious (especially fajitas), drinks are very good too. We will be back.

Delicious Mexican food, great ambiance inside and a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking a pond with a water fountain. Excellent cocktail drinks and a kid friendly menu. Will definitely be going back.

The food was amazing. The tortilla chips were wonderful, along with the salsa. I had the extra spicy salsa. It had flavor and spice. I ordered the fish tacos. It was seasoned grilled individual slices of tilapia, not chopped up pieces of fish. It was served with a little bowl of chopped up tomatoes, peppers, and cilantro. They even carry wine and beer. The margaritas are authentic and delicious. They have a beautiful outdoor patio, which we didn't notice until we were leaving. The outdoor view is beautiful.

Came in for a lunch date with my husband and we had a great time! We were greeted right as we walked in by the friendly staff. Our waiter was very attentive and service was excellent! The food was delicious. Honestly the best Mexican food I’ve had in the area. The atmosphere and view were perfect on a sunny afternoon. Can’t wait to go back!

The flautas (in west coast enchiladas soft, taquitos hard) were pretty good soaked inside of mole poblano.. saucy and juicy on inside not outside. Very 👍 the attention to detail has turned around I will come again. Closer to home. You don't have to complain management will set people straight . It's elegant, feels like a safe location, never crowded. Like others by route 1. Cheaper menu more space and privacy .

I would like to thank everyone at Hector's. We decided to celebrate our grandfather's 80th birthday here. The service, prices, and atmosphere were THE BEST!!!! THE WHOLE family enjoyed it. Oh yeah, and the food was great too😁. We rented the upstairs space, and they offered a buffet set-up. We were aloud to setup a couple hours earlier. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to create these wonderful memories.

Good sized margaritas that don't break the bank are a great start to a great meal. Servers were courteous and friendly. The menu has plenty of options that we will have to come back to try. I think their guacamole is made similar to my mother's recipe - with red onions and some sour cream thrown in. The salsa Fresca is very good, bursting with flavor.

We had dinner here on a Friday and the restaurant was just the right amount of busy and full with people. It's a very clean and elegant space, with a gorgeous view of the Tackett's Mill pond. The staff was extremely polite, the portions were generous and the food was delicious in our opinion. My kids tend to over order and we always need take out boxes, but after eating here we didn't, simply because the food was that good. You must try the jalapeno poppers. They are amazing!

The server was really good and the drinks were on point. The food could have been better but the chips and salsa was decent My quesadilla and my wife's wings were edible at best. My rice was not hot while my wife's was warm. I will be going back to give this spot second chance though.

Went here the other day for lunch and was very disappointed. Dont come here if your looking for real Mexican food. Ordered the fajitas for 2 and came with ALOT of veggies and a so so mix of chicken and steak. Had to add salt because of the lack of seasoning. Only 1 plate of beans and rice with the smallest amount of sour cream and guac. Wasn't enough for 3 fajitas let alone 6. Very disappointing. The guacamole is definitely not homemade. Taste like the slimy store bought ones. Wasn't good. Ordered the Mac n cheese kids meal. Literally only came with a small plate of Mac n cheese for $8. Seriously? This place sucked. Employees were very friendly but I asked for change and they refused to give me any ones. Said they only had 10s and 5s. Forcing you to tip more than wanted is horrible service on their part. So 1 star because thats horrible business and the food is not Mexican at all.
