Sartorelli is an institution, one of the best pastry shops in the Varese area and beyond for years. They offer a wide selection, as they say, but the quality of their products is second to none. The desserts are typical of Varese; among the classic pastries, the cannoncini and shortcrust pastry "S" stand out, the product I personally use to rate them. The owner is a dynamic and very attentive person, and the service is excellent. This summer, I ordered a shortcrust pastry with jam for an event, and it was ready in a couple of hours. The prices may not be the cheapest, but once you taste them, you'll forget all about them!

Aperitivo al banco, ma c'era posto anche per sedersi, mooltoo buono. Consiglio il "Rosa" per chi non lo conosce.

All ok, good croissants and fair prices, possibility of having an aperitif with appetizers even outside of the hours, very kind waiters. The only flaw was that we had to wait a bit before someone took us into account, especially during the holidays when the place was full I would have put more staff.

A great little cafe, with an excellent selection of pastries and also gluten free options. Hot drinks, cold drinks, chocolates, sweets, croissants, etc, everything you could ask for. The price is decent and the staff are friendly.

Located on the town's main street. Spacious, bright, and clean with plenty of tables. We stopped for a Sunday aperitivo. Their house alcoholic cocktails (the red and the rosé) were excellent, accompanied by generous appetizers. Everything was excellent. Reasonable prices, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Perhaps a little too noisy.

The place is slightly dated (you can tell by the walls, doors, and furnishings), but clean. Service isn't exceptional, but it's courteous and fast. A snack is tea with a couple of biscuits; the jam one is good, but the Bacio di Dama biscuits are a bit more subtle. Nothing special, nothing special.

Ho sempre comprato la veneziana salata in questa pasticceria ed è sempre stata molto buona. Purtroppo quest' ultima volta è risultata secca e vecchia (nonostante consumata appena ritirata), facendomi fare una pessima figura con le persone che avevo a pranzo. Considerando che una veneziana vuota costa 20 euro, non è ammissibile che venga venduto un prodotto vecchio. Sono tornata il giorno stesso a farlo presente e se ne sono lavati le mani, dicendo che non sapevano che dire. Uno scivolone nel lavoro ci sta, ma si dovrebbe cercare di rimediare! Cura del cliente zero!

When you're invited to a Christmas aperitif at a renowned pastry shop, you expect a riot of flavors, and Sartorelli, I must say, managed to surprise me, but not in the way I'd hoped. The agreed-upon price was 20 euros, but at the till it came to a surprising 23.50. Moving on to the food and drink: good, yes, but served in somewhat scant quantities. The waitress, poor thing, tried her best, but she was alone, really. Kudos to the management for this impeccable organizational choice. The panettone and pandoro, what a disaster. Two sacred symbols of Christmas that, alas, arrived dry, and the request for a cream to accompany them was in vain. Sartorelli, this is probably the last time we'll see each other in Malnate. And maybe get a receipt next time, because at Christmas we're all nicer, but not stupid. Best regards

Without mutual agreement, there would have been time to clarify this point (and the rule "if the customer doesn't ask, I don't tell" doesn't apply), the cake was charged at €200. We paid, but it goes without saying that despite years of friendship, we will never return to this place for any drinks (we've already paid for drinks for the next 10 years).
