The food is simply excellent; the menu is unique and contemporary, yet always with an eye to Mantuan tradition. The homemade bread, breadsticks, and combucha are also highly appreciated. We'll definitely be back.

In the splendid Piazza Leon Battista Alberti, we find one of the finest restaurants for modern cuisine in Mantua. This restaurant and cocktail bar offers sophisticated drinks and a contemporary menu. I personally ordered the marrow tartare and tongue kebab, and I think they're their signature dishes. The staff is young, friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I'll be back in the winter to try their Florentine steak, intrigued by the cooking method. I highly recommend it.

I walked past this place yesterday and knew that I needed to have dinner here. So, I booked a table for today. I'm so glad I did that! This place was something that I've been trying to find in Italy. Contemporary, fresh, and experimental. As a person who doesn't eat meat or seafood, it's been difficult to find places to eat in Italy. This restaurant blows my mind!! Innovative and creative, amazing food that was so tasty and different from any other restaurant I've visited in Italy. The food, wine, cocktails, atmosphere, and service were top quality. It's definitely a place that everyone should visit while staying in Mantova.

All the staff are definitely prepared to carefully recommend about what to eat and the wine to match. This gourmet restaurant overlooking Piazza L. B. Alberti, opposite the back of the Duomo, was a pleasant surprise. In the evening, the square takes on a very characteristic appearance. The staff welcomed us kindly, leaving our coats in the cloakroom. They seated us at a table overlooking the square. We ordered two aperitifs because we knew the restaurant had a bartender specializing in aperitifs. We chose ravioli with pumpkin mustard and amaretti, a typical Mantuan dish. The pasta was preceded by a very tasty first entrée and a second course of mushroom broth with a Parmigiano Reggiano wafer and homemade breadsticks. Each dish is carefully presented on the plate and expertly explained by the highly trained wait staff, who take care of the guests from the moment they enter to the moment they leave. We appreciated the location—simple yet characterized by an intimate atmosphere—the gourmet dishes, the appetizers, and the kindness of the staff. Prices were perhaps a little above average. The evening was very pleasant.

Very quiet and pleasant location, very courteous reception staff, quite elegant and well-kept mise en place. The small amuse-bouche offered by the kitchen was pleasant. The appetizers, waited for a little longer than expected, were: Marinated amberjack, papaya, carrots, pumpkin mustard: very good, the combination of the savory marine flavor of the amberjack, the acidity of the papaya and the sweetness of the pumpkin with carrots make it very pleasant. Seaweed brioche bread with bottarga cream and white chocolate, lime curd with smoked butter: the lime curd stood out and was really good, despite this I found the white chocolate a little forced, it covered the flavor of the bottarga with which I would have pushed a little more given the contrast with the lime curd. First courses: Cold Turanian spaghetti with marinated cuttlefish tartare, tomato soup, root sauce and dried sage: very good, I would have liked a slight acidic note (but this is a personal taste) Fusilloni with 90-day aged beef ragù, green apple gel and lavender cream: probably the dish I liked the most of the dinner, I would have pushed a little more with the green apple gel to contrast the fattiness of the ragù Second courses: Grilled duck breast with farofa, dried apricots and parsley sauce: this I could define as the, unfortunately, painful note of the tasting; the meat was not very juicy, a little dry, the farofa was salty, and I would have preferred a fresh apricot to refresh the palate instead of the dried apricots, the mix of meat, farofa and dried apricot made the mouth pasty, a positive note for the parsley sauce. Entraña, smoked eggplant, figs and potato cream: the flavor of the diaphragm was very good (I would have liked a few more flakes of salt on top), the potato cream was good, the eggplant quenelle was slightly bitter, but it contrasted with the sweetness of the figs and the silkiness of the potato cream. It was a different experience, definitely worth trying again, the chef really has an excellent hand in plating, dishes different from the usual traditional cuisine that seeks inspiration in the roots of the culinary tradition of the area but that leaves room for inventiveness and experimentation. Courteous and knowledgeable waiting staff. For 2 of us we had 2 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 second courses and a barley (excluding two bottles of water and the cover charge) and we paid 120 euros, prices slightly above average, but in my opinion well spent and justified by the environment in which you eat which is an environment, as previously mentioned, very well-kept and classy, ​​and with a certain type of service. We need more places like this, let's make room for creativity and experimentation, great job!

Ate there one month ago as bday diner. Being often in Mantova I always was attracted by the magic of the place and seeing the cocktails they serve. For diner I was rather disappointed price/quality wise. Dishes were small and aim to be special though not wow enough. Service so and so. Rather high price vs quality. Resto was not full on Sat night. Although the coktail bar part was full when we went out. I believe they need to reinvent their focus for future more . In general I see quality of Mantua resto s dropping down a lot past year compared to what you pay. Becomes more and more closer to Belgian topresto s where you are served topfood
