Consiglio a tutti di mangiare alla Taverna del Duca ad Amalfi perché il cibo è eccellente: pesce fresco e cucinato ottimamente. Ottima anche la pizza: impasto alla napoletana. L'ambiente è molto accogliente ed il personale gentile, cortese ed attento alle esigenze del cliente. Io mi fermo spesso in questo ristorante 😋😋😋❤️💋

Location ricavata in una piazzetta nel centro di Amalfi, molto caratteristica e suggestiva. Ristorante di ottimo livello, sia per la proposta che per gli ingredienti utilizzati... I primi e i dolci sono all'insegna della tradizione locale. Per me il Duca è un vero punto di riferimento. Complimenti

Oggi mi sono recata per pranzo presso questa trattoria la quale mi è stata consigliata da una cittadina di Amalfi e devo dire che è stato davvero un ottimo consiglio. Ho ordinato uno spaghetto alle vongole mentre il mio ragazzo ha ordinato ben due porzioni di spaghetti al limone in quanto erano davvero di una qualità e di un sapore eccelso. Sentivo anche altri italiani al tavolo accanto al nostro che avevano preso anche altre portate e commentavano la bontà dei piatti scelti. Non mi resta quindi che consigliare vivamente questa trattoria.

Il ristorante si trova una zona centrale ad Amalfi per questo è sempre molto affollato. La freschezza dei prodotti è indiscussa , in due sere non abbiamo mai trovato qualcosa che non fosse buono. Antipasti,primi e secondi tutto buonissimo,menzione speciale alla cassuola. Nonostante l’attesa di dieci minuti la prima sera, abbiamo trovato un servizio veramente eccellente. Abbiamo girato la costiera amalfitana diversi giorni, ma tra tutti i ristoranti questo è quello che ci é rimasto più impresso.

Io e la mia compagna siamo stati in questo ristorante e ci siamo trovati molto bene!! Cibo ottimo servizio altrettanto. Locale consigliato da Andrea del Hotel Don Salvatore

Excellent experience at La taverna del Duca Amalfi! We enjoyed both pasta and meatballs,pizza, and everything was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The quality of the food was outstanding. The service was fantastic, especially thanks to our waiter who was very friendly, attentive, and professional. He made us feel welcome and took great care of us throughout the meal. A wonderful restaurant with great food. Highly recommended!

Food was amazing, it’s hidden near a fountain but the pasta and seafood was fresh. The service was exceptional, they even got a local artists to stop by and play happy birthday for our daughter. The pizza was one of the best we had, but the fish and pasta was the best.

We came to Amalfi coast with tour and only had 1.5hr to spare around the town. We were hungry so came across this nice restaurant while walking. Nice relaxing outdoor seating facing the street. Clean toilet. Food was honestly average and on the pricy side. 25 euro for octopus pasta. We didn't have time to relax so just ate and left. I don't want to give a harsh review but because we tried so many restaurants in Italy, and this place wasn't bad, but there is many delicious and reasonable priced place elsewhere. I guess Amalfi coast itself is expensive than other town.

We came in 2013 to this taverna, I wanted to eat seafood and I ordered seafood pasta without pasta, only the seafood. It was very very tasty. The ambiance is nice, we had also some live music. Don't miss this place when you come to Amalfi, walk a little bit further to find this spot.

This is a lovely restaurant at the top of the main street. We were seated almost straight away on a busy Sunday night and served by lovely, attentive staff. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great and I couldn’t recommend this more. Carbonara was €18 and a large glass of wine €6. Would recommend!!

Super tasty food with enthusiastic and friendly service. Prices are a little steep, but par the course out here. Probably one of the few places worth the extra coin. Wife and I both got the Lasagna and we shared the ham and mozzarella. Super good. Didn’t get a picture of the ham and mozzarella, it was gone too quickly 😅😂

We stopped here prior to a sunset cruise, as it was one of the only places open before 5pm. It was fantastic, I really enjoyed the lemon spaghetti, and the meatball appetizer was so good. We sat inside to get away from the insane amounts of people in the street, and it was nice and quiet, but they also have a great patio if you are more socially inclined. Highly recommend!

Great restaurant a bit up the main street, but no stairs! Busy, but we grabbed a table, and it was well worth it. Great servers, very well trained and really working as a team! Delicious dishes come quickly but not in a rush. Big portions, too! The colorful tables and plates are an added attraction. And a beautiful nearby fountain with small scenes and statues draws a big crowd for photographs, making the people-watching even better. Moderate process for Amalfi and a great dining experience!

Dinner here was amazing! The food and drinks were superb and service was quick. Waiters were very friendly. The Sciatiella allo scoglio is a must- our favourite dish by far (though the others were all fantastic). Highly recommend!

A small family-run restaurant that doesn’t look like much from the outside, but provides delicious traditional meals and has great service. Located in the Main Street of Amalfi, the outside tables are in a courtyard, with no water view. Like most Eurpoean restaurants, the tables are small and space is limited, but the service is swift and friendly, and the food is surprisingly delicious! Also, everything is reasonably priced. I would recommend!

Buon posto non se mangia male ma il piatti none abbondanti ,prezzi del piatto coma dal centro, nella fascia media , per il vino non posso dire nulla dipende da quello che ordinato al tavolo, ma comunque sempre spendete sui 10-15€ in più rispetto alti posti , questo cade anche per il cafe su Amalfi ci sono i posti dove potete trovare il cafe a 1.50€ e non a 5€ ... P.S se avete il budget illimitato potete permettere questo posto, se no ci sono posti che se spende di meno e vi godete bella panorama di Amalfi

I was recently invited for dinner here, a friend paid so I cannot tell the prices!! The place is very warm and hospitable and the service wonderful and friendly. We all ate different fish based dishes and beer and wine and all 4 of us were VERY satisfied indeed. The server then offered us a glass of amaro (digestive) so we left full and very happy. GREAT place and food, thanks guys!!!

La Taverna del Duca instantly caught our attention as one of the busiest places during our day trip to the Amalfi Coast, and it did not disappoint. We had the seafood pasta, and it was absolutely amazing! One of my favorite touches was the fresh basil plant on the table – being able to grab a leaf and add it to our dish made the experience even better.

Excellent service, food and drink. But, surly staff and our table was quickly exposed to full sun, which spoilt the meal for us as we were so uncomfortable.

Arrivato in questo ristorante attirato perché molto affollato. Prezzi elevatissimi, qualità scarsa, porzioni piccole. Assolutamente da evitare.

Per i prezzi sul menù ci aspettavamo mooolto di meglio. Patatine fritte zuppe d’olio al sapore di pesce con annesse schegge di granchi o altro non identificato. La pizza molto spessa con la consistenza di una gomma aima e poco cotta (di pizze ne ho mangiate e questa va a collocarsi fra le peggiori). I primi si sono salvati in quando le vongole erano senza sabbia e gli spaghetti ben “risottati” con l’acqua di cottura. Abbiamo chiesto dell’olio piccante e ci hanno portato una bottiglietta sporca e (secondo me) andata a male. Il locale piccolo e senza alcun affaccio sul mare. Vi è l’aria condizionata e la possibilità di cenare/pranzare all’esterno in piazzetta. Il servizi erano puliti e situati all’esterno del locale. Personale gentile. Conto salato e pagato veramente controvoglia! Ps il caffè andrebbe offerto a prescindere.

Pessimo è dir poco.. una vera trappola per turisti stranieri (che di cibo se ne intendono veramente poco). In un mezzogiorno piovoso in giro per Amalfi, viste le recensioni positive (e adesso capisco perchè, perchè provengono da turisti stranieri che pasta e pizza non sanno neanche cosa vogliano dire) ci siamo seduti e abbiamo ordinato due pizze. Per essere in Campania, la patria della pizza, abbiamo mangiato la pizza più brutta mai mangiata, costata tra l'altro 16€! Ma tralasciando il prezzo di cui eravamo consapevoli, non eravamo consapevoli che la pizza fosse croccante e stile frisbee. Ci siamo fermati alle due pizze e ad un piatto di patatine fritte con aggiunta una birra e un'acqua, per un totale di 50€. Locale all'interno puzzolente e senza aria condizionata... un vero scempio per gli occhi, il naso e per lo stomaco. Mai più...
