Au feu de truffier

Our group stayed at La Barauderie for a week, hosted by Scott and Elena. Scott offers a menu of creative dishes prepared with local ingredients over a backyard open fire. After long excursions in the Loire Valley, Scott's nightly dinners were a welcome treat, and the highlight of our trip! The burger night was a family favorite :) In addition, Scott made us an outstanding brunch the morning after we arrived—a board of delicious sausage and egg sandwiches on homemade English muffins and a gorgeous stack of pancakes! Thank you, Scott and Elena for the wonderful memories!

Our family of six had the great pleasure of staying a week at La Barauderie. We were treated to five meals while there. Each one was unique and delicious! We thought Scott could not possibly top himself each time, but he did. The burgers were my favorite, but the steak and frites were amazing. The chicken tandori dish was the best I have ever had. Taco night was extremely fun and tasty. The homemade breakfast muffins were ... well let's just say, I can still taste them in my dreams! I am jealous of anyone who gets to experience Scott's cooking! I would be there every week if I could.

Over the course of a week staying at La baradurie Scott cooked us a selection of excellent dinners. Everything that was served to us was very, very good. Particular highlights included the burgers (which were all great, but the deluxe burger is the best burger I’ve ever eaten), a huge leg of lamb with some excellent croquettes, wonderful chips, excellent chicken, stunning steak frites and a whole host of amazing other meals. A wonderful experience all round. Would highly recommend!

During our recent family visit we had the opportunity to enjoy multiple exceptional meals here. These are provided with the freshest of ingredients and cooked over an open fire. These results are quite excellent and different from the usual fare. The options are broad, as we had food ranging from tandoori chicken to steak frites to breakfast muffins to hamburgers (smash burgers really) that were all top notch. All products including breads are made on site! This chef (Scott) and family were very attentive to our needs and the entire experience was unforgettable. You should not miss this!

Hier ist nichts. Waren gestern (Freitag 6.6.2025 ca. 18:30Uhr) hier. Nur ein leerer Platz. Ich vermute, hier war vor einiger Zeit mal ein tolles Grillevent und der Googleeintrag ist mitlerweile obsolet und irreführend.
