Opinions de The Cheesecake Factory Marina Del Rey
If you are looking for a reliable meal with a stunning view, The Cheesecake Factory in Marina Del Rey is a fantastic choice. The elegant interior feels upscale with its unique lighting and decor, but the vibe remains welcoming for everyone. Their gigantic menu is legendary; it is basically a book that covers every craving imaginable, from avocado eggrolls to pasta. Even with the huge crowds, the great service stands out. The staff is fast, friendly, and keeps things moving. The highlight, however, is the outdoor patio. It overlooks the marina, offering a peaceful view of the boats and the water. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the breeze while diving into a massive slice of cheesecake. It is big, bold, and beautifu, just make sure you come hungry because the portions are just as huge as the scenery! You will love it.
Super good. I went on a Friday after the holiday and I was expecting a long wait but the hostess said it would only be 15-20. Our party of 7 were seated quickly and Jewels, our waitress, was very helpful and very attentive to our service. The food was excellent. I ordered the Crispy Pineapple Chicken and shrimp. My friends got shrimp scampi, orange chicken. It was my anniversary and the dessert was delicious.
This is my favourite Cheesecake cake factory and it’s all because of location. This is a really old Cheesecake Factory but I love to walk on the beach before and after eating lunch or Dinner here. Down side is you have to pay for parking but it’s reasonable. But the marina view on a sunny day is amazing considering all the new locations are in boring places like shopping malls.
I had a great experience at The Cheesecake Factory. I ordered the miso salmon with brown rice, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully balanced. I also had a bowl of clam chowder, which was rich, creamy, and comforting. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. Overall, a very satisfying meal and a place I’d definitely return to!
Salmon was very good. The mashed potatoes and asparagus was exactly as expected. The lettuce tacos were also very good. Service was great. Waitress was very friendly. Valet parking was right by the door. Peaceful calm atmosphere and the food came out fast. Right by the beach with a children’s playground.
Great location, classic menu, and delicious cheesecake! I recently visited The Cheesecake Factory in Marina del Rey and had a memorable experience. Here’s a breakdown of my visit: What I Loved Beautiful Waterfront Views: The restaurant is right on the marina, offering lovely scenery and the option for outdoor seating with fireplaces. Extensive Menu: There’s truly something for everyone, from vegan options to hearty steaks and, of course, over 30 types of cheesecake. Friendly Service: Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, even though the restaurant was busy. Tasty Food: The cheesecake was, as always, the highlight—creamy and flavorful. Atmosphere: The vibe is lively and casual, perfect for groups or family outings. It can get a little loud, but it adds to the energy of the place.
Originally started in Washington DC I have been coming to Cheesecake Factory since I was in high school and would consider it one of my favorite American casual chains. They are most famous for their GIANT menu filled with all sorts of different dishes and of course their large cheesecake selection. This location is right by Mother’s Beach in Marina del Rey and even though there is a giant parking lot attached parking will be valet only otherwise you can try to find street parking, which can be difficult in this part of town. Inside is very large and filled with all sorts of different sitting areas and types of seating. This restaurant can also host many different sized groups from 2 to 8+. Every time I come here, I try something new, but there are some dishes that I like to get often. The first of those are the Avocado Eggrolls which I’ve been ordering since I first started coming here. They’re always consistently good and always taste the same and I would highly recommend to anyone especially if you are new to this restaurant. Next, I actually tried something that I’ve never tried before which was the Burger Special. It was a Double Smash Burger with grilled onions and honestly, it was better than I was expecting. The burger was juicy, large, and just tasted great. I would definitely recommend ordering a burger here and would get one again in the future. Overall, this is a great casual lunch or dinner option and I plan to try their breakfast sometime in the near future. This is the sort of place that would be fun to bring family and friends, not so much a date spot or a place for a work function dinner. I will definitely be back many times in the future.
First time trying The Cheesecake Factory and am blown away by the delicious food and service. We ordered the fried calamari, skinnylicious salmon, house salad and triple berry bliss cheesecake. We were served by Serena and I have to say her service is awesome. Thanks for slicing the cheesecake into half so that we can share and serving our salmon later when the table is overwhelmed. Love to be here again for your exceptional service.
Came for lunch on a Saturday and had an overall good experience. Host and server were amicable but service was really slow. What should have been a 45min lunch turned into 1.5 hours due to food delivering time slow, our server forgetting items (some items never made it). Food was good overall, salmon was delicious, lettuce and condiments were as to be expected. View is good if sitting outside, parking is $9 bucks but worth it if you stick around (farmers market, playground, etc).
We went for late lunch, they were busy and took some time to be seated and get our order. But after that everything was great. The person who served us was very friendly and helpful to make our choice. The pineapple chicken and shrimp as well as Cajun chicken and shrimp were one of the best we have had. The downer was brown rice with first order but that's our fault since we ordered it. Would definitely go back if we're nearby. Location is great as well, unfortunately the day we went, was windy and a bit cold for my wife's liking but otherwise they have beautiful beach front tables as well. The great regret I have is that, we had no place left to have cheesecake.
Thank you to the check in staff & Wilson . We had a party of 7 and they were accommodating and the food was great!
I always enjoy myself here. Why not spoil yourself and have a little cheesecake.\nGreat view.

the two times we have went to this restaurant we had the best waitress/waiter they where jules and dave couldn’t have asked for better staff they where amazing.
I’m local and always enjoying the Cheesecake Factory diner experience. Yesterday night,my cocktail(May tai) was very sweet(too sweet) and my pasta dish(jambalaya) very tasty but you have to review your process for it. So much grease and smoked paprika(I presume) in the plate… Can do much better! I will come back!
Yesterday my family and I celebrated a graduation and had a party of 7. The wait time for a table did not take long. parking is $8.00 for self parking and $12.00 for valet ( it’s not much of a diff). Our server was Silvia P she was very patient, knowledgeable and friendly. She did not miss a beat. The food was good and the cheesecake was decent. I had a vanilla bean cheesecake. Our overall experience was pleasant.
So bad omfg. A couple appetizers were tolerable. service = bad. Good view. Would never return or recommend this place to anyone i don't hate.

Our server Eric was great! Attentive and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu! Grab a patio spot on a nice day and it’s hard to beat! Great drinks, great service, cool Location.
The pasta has gone downhill. Jambalaya tasted like grocery store pasta sauce and some of the shrimp was mushy. The ferfalle with chicken came out looking wet as a soup (not exaggerating), they remade it but regardless still laking taste yet over salted. Appetizers were hit and miss. Do get the avocado egg rolls. Do come here for the ambience and nostalgia. If you dont mind having par/subpar generic food but want to host a group, it’s the place for you.
The atmosphere was nice yet a little too loud on the music but try have a pleasant dinner. My family order ribeye steaks with Asparagus, shrimp scampi, Chicken Alfredo and a salmon plate. Great food but I would say a little pricy for the portions you get. Our specialty drinks were filled with too much ice. I felt the place nice but pricy. You make a reservation with time for the place yet when I arrive the place was too busy and the service lack attention for the guest from the moment you arrive, I still had to wait to get seated. The drinks order is taken everything is about waiting. My server brought drinks and didn't come to offer refills or checking if you need anything else after you're served. It was my first time coming here but I think making reservations for a weekend is way too much happening. I drove 1 hour away to give my daughter a pleasant view but it was too busy and I didn't get a view seating for her 21st birthday. I probably recommend to go on weekdays instead of a weekend. I wouldn't drive again to get seated on a corner after asking for a nice view seating.
The food served has always been yummy. I have been here twice this week. Sept 9th n 11th. Your level of service has dropped big time. It wasnt our server it was how much he had to do by himself. Poor guy ran around doing so much. The lack of support he had was very obvious. You charge TOP PRICES... i have always felt that your very pricey.. well if your going to charge me TOP PRICES then i expect good service. It took FOREVER to get our food. We were there after the lunch rush at 1:40pm. Our server was so slammed it was really hard to even get a drink refill. Whoever manages people on the floor needs a spanking. When you pay over $50 per person for lunch good service should come with it. We didnt even order cheesecake on the 11th. Yes we were full but i would have ordered sum to go but by then we just wanted to leave. That alone says a lot.
This was supposed to a happy occasion as we celebrated a birthday for our out of town guest. The way Journey treated us was less than stellar. When Journey came to our table and game all of her/his favorites. He/she not once gave his/her name. I had to ask for it. Not once during our visit did he/she ask if we needed anything and if we’re satisfied with our food and drinks. The pronoun took his/her time bringing our food. I watched as he/she served other tables with their meals who were seated after we were seated. I had to ask for bread which I know is normally served to guests without asking for it! When I asked for the check and containers for our leftovers, his/her response with his/her hand up “hold on”. The tone was so rude. He/she continued to move around the patio without coming to see what I was asking for. He/She came back with the second cocktail. That is when I asked for the check and containers. I had had enough of this rude behavior. The birthday girl was disappointing by the behavior of Journey but we managed to have a good time and enjoy the food and the Marina weather on the patio. Our cocktails were delicious. Our food was delicious as well. The attendant who valeted my vehicle was a ray of sunshine.
I love the Cheescake Factory, it's my favorite chain restaurant. The menu is massive, the food is good, but this particular location is extra special due to the view of Mother's Beach. The string lights above the patio create this incredible ambiance along with the moonlight hitting the water make the subpar, slow, service bearable. I had the club sandwhich, only half of that and the bread is pictured because I forgot to take a picture of the full plate as it took forever to come out. Also, I never understood why they don't include the drink prices on the menu. Despite being seated 15 minutes past our reservation spot do to a longer wait to sit outside, it's still an iconic location and definitely worth a visit.
Food is good. Service is hit or miss. $12 for this slice of cheesecake that used to be twice the size really did me in. Probably won't be back.

Nice location and great staff . Tried a couple of the dishes, the buffalo chicken burger was good and hit the right flavors. The Thai chicken salad was full of lettuce and a few strips of grilled chicken > would be great to balance the ratio a bit and increase some of the noodles and add some other veggies and dressing. The appetizer ordered was the spinach & artichoke dip which was average, a bit on the heavy side and the Parmesan doesn’t really fit well with it . All in all, it’s Cheesecake Factory at the end of the day but service was ultra slow, 25 min for the dip to be served and another 20 min for the main, considering the place was 15% occupied .
Beautiful location outside, but very tiny and crowded inside. I have noticed a big dog allowed inside which made me feel uncomfortable eating my food, very loud music was playing in one section of the restaurant that you are unable to hear your server. I don't recommend you to have food inside.

I had an extremely poor experience with a pickup order from this location. The food was packaged poorly, with containers leaking and food spilling out by the time we got home. We ordered gumbo with brown rice and shrimp scampi with extra sauce. The extra sauce was missing, and the shrimp scampi had almost no sauce at all—the pasta was so dry it was inedible. The brown rice was hard and clearly undercooked. When I called to address the issue, the manager, Saed, was dismissive and lacked accountability. His initial solution was for me to drive 20 minutes back to the restaurant, and he blamed the undercooked rice on the restaurant having “just opened.” After pressing, he offered only a $15 discount on a $70 order, which was inadequate given that most of the food was not edible. Due to the poor food quality and lack of professionalism, we will not be returning to this location.
