My wife and I shared the Chili Verde plate, supplemented by a couple a la carte tacos. A very enjoyable meal.

Don't let the empty restaurant fool you, it's great food! The staff is friendly and everything is really clean. Waitress said they opened with new management in January 2025 so hopefully this place takes off!

This place is amazing. I had the taco salad, the meat was perfectly seasoned, the taco shell was like heaven in your mouth. I highly recommend eating here!

If you’re craving beans, sopes or fried plantains this is the spot. Their chips are great and their salsa bar as well. I’m not a fan of their pupusas though, I wish I was. I am originally from southern Cali so I may be pickier. They charge 75 cents for credit card use, not a fan of that.

I'm so glad I found this place.. small and easy to miss but it'll be my go-to now that I know what they have! Delicious, fresh, flavor packed pupusas! Even one with zucchini that I've never had before. And their horchata was yummy (it's not on their menu though!) Amazing avacado salsa at their chips/salsa bar. Great service, friendly staff. They've absolutely earned a repeat customer!

A hidden gem in Carmichael. Fresh and tasty. Best fish taco I've ever had! The Taco Salad is enough for two, unless you are a big eater. The carnitas was perfect. Carmichael, we should support this family biz. I''ll be ordering again, soon.

Everything about this little hole in the wall is amazing. I had the super burrito pork and cheese and jalapeño and cheese pupusas. Definitely will be coming back. The food tasted authentic with care and I can tell it was homemade. Family run businesses like these will always have a special place in my heart.

Hands down one of the tastiest Mexican food restaurants in all of Sacramento! Also a nice gateway into Salvadoran food with their delicious Pupusas! You will not be disappointed about the food portions, they load each plate up from edge to edge. Please visit, eat, taste and enjoy! You will not be disappointed in any of the dishes. I had the Torta Milanesa and it was an incredible taste with every bite! I was not disappointed in any of the options that passed by my hungry eyes. Amazing family owned restaurant! I ordered the birria soup and churros it was amazing!!! The soup was super flavorful and the goat just melted in your mouth! It was cooked perfect! Handmade tortillas and handmade churros filled with vanilla cream!! Delicious and reasonably priced!

I got a Torta and one of each of the chicken and pork tamales. I liked the chicken better but both were good, I’ll have to try the Salvadoran ones next. If I lived close by I’d come in often for some good food and relaxing environment.

It was 5:30 pm on Sunday, Labor day weekend and I was welcomed by a handsome gentleman eager and excited for me to take a good overlook of the menu and ask if I had any questions. There was no one in the restaurarant. But the place smelled delicious!!! Our order: pork and cheese papusa, chicharones & fried yuca, carnitas chimichanga, alpastor super burito, and two Salvadoran empanadas vanilla & pinapple cream filled. The bill was high because we ordered sooooo much food and gave a $5.00 even though we did to-go. We are going back tonight... nit even one week later to make a larger order. We. Loved. It. Both the Mexican and Salvadoran dishes are great. Hand made corn tortillas. Tastes like your best friend’s mom is back there cooking in the kitchen. Very reasonable prices.

One day she was gone and I had hoped that she was OK. Today I found out she opened her own restaurant! I'm so excited to be able to get her food again. Today was a chorizo street taco, huarache, and chile relleno. Love the homemade tortillas and the relleno was stuffed full of the best cheese. Amazing food as always.

Ambience is nice over there ❤️ You can enjoy eating by sitting inside or outside either They have a place to eat outside as well It was first time eating the pupusas and tamale just loved it and also the hibiscus drink

Went in for some menudo . Took them 20 minutes to make my order. There was only one family eating and I was the only one there ordering . A guy came in after me to order and he got his order first than me . The menudo was no good meat was chewy and had no flavor . Small portion and they charged me $21 .

Pesimo servicio al cliente , tuve una mala experiencia al realizar un pedido con ellos, pedi un burrito de pollo y tenia mas arroz y frijol que pollo y sin mentir tenia 2 o 3 pedasitos para el precio que vale el "super burrito ''.. y no es la primera vez que pido lo mismo por eso al ver eso decidi decirles ...a la semana despues llame para volver a hacer otro pedido y le dije sobre que la situacion de la vez pasada y le dije que si le podia poner menos arroz y menos frijol para que le pudiera poner un poco mas de carne y el don se porto de una manera grocera y me dijo que ellos asi hacen sus pedidos y que si yo queria mas pollo que pida una orden extra si yo queria comer mas pollo ... se me hizo muy desagradable su respuesta ...con una disculpa o con solo aceptar mi propuesta de ponerle menos arros y frijol a mi burrito yo hubiese estado tranquilo .... pero solo arruino mi lonche y mi dia ....

Primera y ultima vez que llego a ese restaurant si asi se le puede desir a un lugar que esta vacio, desde el principio el mal humor de la gente que trabaja ahi,asta donde yo se las gorditas son de chicharron,no de pollo mucho menos de carnitas,le pedi que si pir favor le podia agregar el chicharron que usan en las pupusas cosa que esta persona se nego incluso asta se molesto,por eso ese lugar esta tan vacio,tenian mas gente los taqueros que estan pasando la calle y eso que son tacos callejeros pero en fin con ese servicio y no tratar de arreglar algo tan facil no creo que sigan por mucho tiempo
