A nice place where you won't see too many tourists. The food is basic, inexpensive, and authentic mexican. I've only eaten the tacos and consome, so I can't comment on other menu items. Are there better tacos? Yes. Are there worse tacos? Yes. A good place to experience some local "flavor". No margaritas or cerveza ⁹but not needed.

The consume was good. I got the taco dorado's and unfortunately the meat was really good but the fried tortilla tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. It's supposed to be very crispy, but the tortilla of the taco dorado was very chewy. I walked by the kitchen and noticed many taco dorado's just sitting out there which confirmed why they weren't crispy. I'm sure if they're cooked fresh, and served immediately they would be crispy and would be much better. Prices were really good also.

Had the beef, pork and chicken which were quite good. I'd give them a 3.5. Decided on one hard fish taco. Wish I hadn't. Very little fish and the taco seemed old. In-between soft and hard. Price was good! Nothing fancy. They were served with chopped onions, cilantro, and cabbage on the side and a small cup of consume which was a nice touch. Staff didn't seem happy to be there.

This is a covered taco spot with quite a bit of seating. The server was super friendly and spoke a little English. He was very helpful, I ordered the Tacos Dorados with Cheese and Birria. The server said thi was their most popular order. The meat was tender, but not really much flavor. This place looks like they cut a lot of corners. The base of the Birria had absolutely no flavor, it was just beef broth and maybe some salt. The salsa was severely watered down. The cheese was quite sparse. The limes were not fresh. The tacos were hours plus old and not fresh or crispy, and as others have said, hard to chew through. Authentic birria, passed down to me by a friend who was a chef in Mexico, from Mazatlán, has dried chilis in the base like guajillo, ancho, and some other options. This had none of that. The shells should be fresh fried after being dipped in the consume, it should discolor the shells the redness of the dried peppers will color them. The consume should be reduced to thicken it up, this stuff was not and I was there about noon. Hey it was cheap, it was quick, it was OK, and these folks are super nice. But if you are looking for quality birria with flavors of the chili in the base, this isn't it.

We visited on a food tour. Fantastic consomme but the dorado tacos were over done to me because they were hard to bite through. I've had better.

Excellent tacos, soup is good , and great horchata. Servers are pleasant and know what they are doing. A great restaurant, but they close at three or so most days. Still excellent. Came back this year. Short changed me by 300 pesos on bill. Count your change carefully before you leave. Pretty sad.

Got horrible food poisoning from eating the birria tacos. 2 days of non stop vomiting and diarrhea. The food tasted good and was very affordable, but we started feeling sick a couple hours after leaving the restaurant.
