If you are looking for a great breakfast at a fair price with exceptional service come to El Chilito. Our server Carlos was fantastic! The coffee is soooo good we came here twice.
Authentic Mexican atmosphere. Our table had Imperial Shrimp and Coconut Shrimp at a very good price. Both had 5 delicious shrimp and were served piping hot. Came with rice, a nice salad and garlic bread. The sauce for the coconut shrimp was a thin strawberry sauce that had a little spicy kick. Beer was very nice and cold. Service was very good.
Nice homey place . Enjoyed the food and watching the world bustle by from the patio.
Excellent breakfast! Been going here for years! Carlos the waiter was fantastic! The other waiter Oscar is also great as well but didn’t see him this year! Always returning!!

Went here several times for breakfast. The food is good and really reasonable. Our favorite is the coffee. It's frothy and excellent.
We had a very nice meal here last night. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had the imperial shrimp which was really tender. My wife had the grilled fish and really enjoyed it. The prices here are really reasonable. Quite a bit cheaper than anywhere we have ate so far. This was a great meal for a great price with really friendly staff.
Such good food and possibly the best of our trip. I think I ascended on a cloud from the garlic shrimp alone. Friendly service too!
Met some friends here for dinner. The food was great as always. This is a locally father and son owned restaurant. The prices as well as the portions are in line with many other local eateries. The service is very fast and the servers are always friendly. At any given time, you can find locals, expats and tourists here so you know it's a great place to eat.
We love this little place for breakfast. The omelet with shrimp, Chihuahua cheese and the perfect bite of spice is my favorite! Served with home style potatoes & beans, yum! Crispy bacon & good coffee too! The owner, Oscar, is always friendly and provides great service.
Good price range and options, for those who like mexican food, a little bit spicy for someone who isn't used to it but overall pretty good quality and price wise. I think is best for locals that don't want to eat seafood everyday or who travel with someone that wants something besides seafood as they offer a more traditional menu along with seafood of course.
Came here every morning for breakfast. The waitress speaks perfect English and the food is delicious and affordable. Great place in Golden Zone.
Home cooked meals. OK, but not great. If you have never been to this type of restaurant , it's worth a try, every day, different menu.
They used to have the best enchiladas in Mazatlán but recently changed their menu.....for the worse I would very much look forward to coming here whenever I came to Mazatlán, now, I doubt I'll be back
Worst meals and drinks ever.
There was a piece of CHEWED GUM in my food!!! After I complained, they took my plate away and tried to convince me it was avocado…. That was a pretty gross experience AND they made me pay for the uneaten meal.
Cheap ingredients, no taste, much less authentic and tasty than cheaper eats in the area. Noisy from street right in front. They give you 20 coins in change to get tips...
