I always have a great experience when I come. This is the best subway in merced. Fast, friendly service with great food everytime.
Super friendly workers. They've called me before to check up on an order to make sure it's correct. Never mess up the orders, and they are ready quickly.
Drove there yesterday around noon after my classes in school and the workers were very nice greeting me as I walked in. I ordered the baja chicken and bacon. It was prepared very nicely and tasted great and I’ll definitely be coming back for more.
Subway always has a variety of sandwiches and you can pretty much get them made any way that you like the prices are reasonable and the food is not only good but healthy for you. We are approaching the cold season Subway has been known to have some of the best soups in town I recommend the broccoli and cheddar oh, but you can never go wrong with chicken noodle. And the ladies that work in there are super friendly
My sandwiches were fresh and delicious. Not something I’d say about most Subway locations, but this one is pretty good. At least for the one time I visited lol. Might head over again soon since I just received some coupons in the mail (they’re kind of over priced for cheaper quality sandwich ingredients imo). 3 stars because I felt kind of rushed during my order even though it was just my friend and I in the restaurant. It also wasn’t the cleanest but the food prep areas were clean with no dirty utensils being used and the sandwich fillings were fresh, so the rest of the restaurant wasn’t a huge deal.
The vegetables look old and dry, I asked for soup they said yes we have some but it's not good, did not have meatball sandwiche , when I went to pay the bagged the sandwich of the person behind me. Omg what a mess the sale person did not know how to charge me . Good luck
Food was good, but all employees except for one weren't even wearing masks over their noses. Nobody else in the place was wearing a mask either. Hard to enjoy my food or even want to order it when COVID concerns are out the window - especially by the people preparing my food.
Customer service was extremely lacking. There was little to no respect shown in how our food was prepared and handled, even while we were present. Our sandwich was made incorrectly and was remade—thank you for that—but there was no need to aggressively slam the original sandwich into the trash. That behavior was unnecessary and uncomfortable. When we asked if soup was available, the employee said no and rolled her eyes at us. This was especially unprofessional considering the store closes at 10:00 PM and we were there at 8:20 PM, well before closing time. The overall attitude from staff was very unwelcoming. If looks could kill, my husband and I would have been dead. There was no sense of customer service or professionalism at all. We spent $30 on our order, only to get sick after eating the sandwiches, which is completely unacceptable. Everyone has bad days, but when you’re a front-line worker, professionalism still matters. If you don’t enjoy your job, it may be time to find another. Life is short—do better. Leave personal drama at the door and treat customers with basic respect. We will never return to this location and will not recommend it to anyone.
Not cool to close your business a before closing hours.
They treat their delivery drivers poorly,, they have zero respect in preparing and handling your food when your not present.. I was screamed at and called names for watching them make the sandwiches I was there to pick up.. if I'm not mistaken,,subway I'd set up so that you can watch they prepare your food.
The real issues were the atmosphere and food. Management has replaced the glass that showed the state of meat and cheese with opaque metal instead. Now, no one can see how good or bad the food is, let alone if anything's being handled poorly. The one taking my order picked up a piece of jalapeño that was dropped with the same hands she used to make my sandwich. When asked to change gloves, they grumbled and tried to argue. I went home, ate my sandwich, and was immediately sick afterwards. So sick that I was clutching my stomach while curled up in a ball. Soon, my brain forced me to get up and throw up everything in the toilet. Instantly felt better, but for reference I haven't thrown up in years before this experience. Not even something like two years of not vomiting, ten years undeterred until I ate from here. The sandwiches also cost upwards of $16+ now for a footlong (no chips, drinks, or cookies included). You can get an actual meal at a restaurant for that price and not be sick. Actively avoid this place if you value your money, time, and digestive health.
Dont like this place or this place doesnt like me!? Every time I go in I have an issue ordering with my app. Service is very rude by almost everyone I talk to. They have little patience. Mostly this location is my issue. Couldnt get my bday gift bc it wouldnt come up.
I went to get 2 foodlong today around 8:40 pm and only because i ask the store or boss information the 2 girls in the store were been racist and telling me they don't have to give me any information from the location. I ask for info to call corporation because when i was about to pay i gave them my coupon and the girl on registered say the boss told them they only take coupons just for ham an salami and i told them the coupons says something else but the was fine just need it the store info. The girl the was been rude she said her name was Grace . She was mopping my feet the hole time. They don't like the job they should not work there
Very depressing atmosphere. And what's up with blocking the glass where the meat and cheese are kept. Now you can't see anything! It looks suspicious now. I can also see the temperature of where the food are displayed freezing over. Not the correct temperature setting Its getting frozen all over even where the veggies are. These are red flags! And not taking coupons...what's up with the owner of this place. Very disappointing. When asking about it, the girl was literally annoyed about it. Come on its food and we are paying for it. I used to be OK with the service here but now it's getting worse and worse. Everytime I come here now I always walk out questioning the quality of the food and service. I guess this is it for me, no more coming here.
January 08, 2024. Approximately 5:30pm Address 3250 G St, Merced, CA. Upon walking into the store, I can see that it was empty with no customers, while an employee was on her phone talking in the front. Once I opened the door (mind you, the door makes a bell sound) and entered, she immediately went to the restroom. As I waited for 10-15 minutes inside the store, no one greeted me, came out to check who was there, or even appeared to be working. As I stand there I knew that the worker didn’t want to take my order. So I took it upon myself to prove my point. I walked out and opened the door, knowingly that it would make a sound, assuming that I “left”, and stood right in front of the entrance. As I stood there, I saw another employee walk out with her phone in her hands looking straight at me. Then followed along was the first employee that went into the restroom. I am extremely disappointed in the management and the workers there. Especially knowing that there are many people who are in need of a job and would do their absolute best to keep it. The workers tonight were straight up lazy and avoiding work at all costs. I would check the cameras and assess the issue ASAP if I were the manager/supervisor.
Often rude staff and make their own exceptions to coupons. Sometimes they do not take and now they have decide to make the coupons only apply to cold cuts, despite the fact this is not an exception on the coupon and there is no signage in the store about this. The staff also do not state these coupon rules when asked. Tuna is also often quite soggy. Terrible subway overall.
Doesn't accept coupons despite not having an signage. We changed how we would order because of a coupon we had and clearly were holding the coupons in sight and she didn't tell us until we got to the register and had to pay. Will not be coming back.
My dad Came in this evening and was treated HORRIBLY. There were 2 girls working and treated my dad so rudely. Their computers were not working and were badgering him how he would pay. He said I can pay cash or card, whatever you guys would like. They then said are you sure? He said yes I’m sure now can you please stop rushing me out of the store and let me complete my order? They both started yelling at him telling him he didn’t need to be rude. He said nothing rude. He Kindly asked them to not rush him out of the store AT 6 PM. He then asked them how he could get in touch with the manager and they said they would not give him that information. I am disgusted at the way he was treated. If you’re looking for customer service and kindness, this is not the place to go.
The girls should be fired their customer service is poor and they don't want to fix the problem. if they don't agree with you they kick you out of the store forcefully. Don't ever go back there. the girls there don't know how to deal with customers. When I called to complain about my sandwiches the manager didn't even want to talk to me and she gave me to a regular worker. Didnt even want to take responsibility for their job. Never going back!
First time they made my sandwich wrong and didn’t bother saying anything about not having my cookies when my GF picked our meals up. I let that go, now I’ve order both sandwiches online and they were made with absolutely no mayo or anything so my sandwich is dry. Would rather go to another location across Merced!
