Visité este hermoso restaurante en su primer día y puedo decir que ha sido una de las mejores experiencias. Adoré la tabla de quesos y carnes, así como el vino blanco, sobre todo el vino blanco moscato. Si visitan Mérida, este restaurante es una parada obligada.

El sommelier nos hizo probar 4 vinos diferentes de tal manera que pudiéramos elegir el que más nos agradaba. La tabla de carnes frías y quesos tenía buena variedad.

Gran lugar para compartir con familia y amigos, una gran calidad en los vinos, grandes recomendaciones y atención personalizada, probamos varios vinos gracias a que la persona en la foto (Tenoch) nos dio una pequeña cata, así que estuvimos más que contentos con la selección de vinos! Este sitio es inigualable. Desde que llegas te reciben amablemente y servicial, con una degustación de varios vinos y un aioli al xcatik con pan de la casa ¡que te volará la cabeza! La experiencia con el sommelier es de lo mejor. Si tienen la oportunidad pidan la tabla suprema de carnes y quesos. Y algo que no puedo saltar es ¡LA ATENCIÓN! El acompañamiento musical fue maravilloso, elevando aún más la experiencia. Pero lo que realmente hace destacar a Bacchus es la calidad humana: la atención del dueño fue sencillamente inmejorable. Apreciamos enormemente su pericia. Lejos de imponer sugerencias, el dueño se tomó el tiempo de escuchar a detalle nuestros gustos para recomendarnos tanto el vino como el acompañamiento de comida. El maridaje que nos sugirió fue excelente y demostró un profundo conocimiento. Recomiendo Bacchus a cualquiera que busque un lugar con alma, donde el buen servicio, la calidad de la bebida y la calidez del ambiente se unen. ¡Una parada obligatoria en Mérida!

Me atrevo a decir que es el único lugar en Merida donde he sentido que tanto la comida, el servicio y el ambiente es de 5 estrellas. El dueño es sommelier y se acerca a compartir y a recomendar, una persona super agradable, sus precios excelentes y los vinos, los quesos y la comida son increíbles. Recomiendo de entrada la tabla de 3 quesos, que trae dos mermeladas deliciosas, una de miel y una de fresa. Pedí el rib eye que trae ensalada y un puré de camote delicioso, por supuesto acompañado con un vino tinto recomendado por el sommelier.

Son muy amables y si tienes dudas de un vino te orientan y hasta te da una pequeña degustación, de esos lugares escondidos que vale la pena conocer precio mínimo por persona entre 400 y 600

Es un lugar súper agradable, la atención es de 10, están siempre al pendiente y te recomiendan sobre los vinos que tienen. Los quesos que probaron nos encantaron y los diferentes sabores. Todo excelente 🥳

This has easily been the best gastronomic experience that I have had in Merida and furthermore at any other wine bar - and I have previously worked at one. If you have to eat at one location during your stay in Merida, eat here. Let him guide your wine experience, order the cheese board, order the spaghetti, and enjoy your evening. I promise you that you will. If I could convince him to open a shop back in the US, I would. 10/10 no notes.

An absolute MUST when visiting Mérida. Do not leave merida without visiting Bacchus Wine Bar and the owner, Enoch!!! To start, the service is amazing. I was in the service industry for 10+ years and Enoch’s service will blow your mind. His passion radiates through him. In my 4 days in merida, I visited twice. Enoch took the time to do a wine tasting of both red and white wines. He broke down their region and flavor profiles. He cared enough to ask where we were visiting from and even made recommendations for places to visit while here. On our second visit, he remembered us right away and told us he wanted to spoil us… and that he did!!! An additional wine tasting as well as he recommending his 3 cheese platter to start.. he knew my friend cannot eat pork so Enoch showed us all his menu options. While classic music played in the background and dim lights loomed over, we enjoyed the amazing salmon spaghetti. The hot honey with almonds is absolutely amazing and I was so happy to find out he sells it individually. This was easily my best meal while I merida. Enoch has made us feel right at home and I cannot wait to come back. If you visit Merida and don’t stop here, even for only a glass of wine, you are mistaken.

My family and I stumbled upon this place and were so happy we did! The owner/somm was extremely welcoming and truly passionate about his business, food, & wine. He let us taste several wines to help us make our decision and provided extra info about the menu. He happily accommodated vegetarian diet. This place wants to create a feeling of quality and attention. They partially succeed at this: the wine is good and service is quick. On the other hand, the quality and price ratio of the food is not good (overpriced for what you get). The service, though quick, felt rather pushy to us. We had the idea we were being watched constantly, as the waiter was situated less then a metre from our table.

Been here twice. The first time for Christmas, when they offered a special menu, with appetizer, starter, main, and dessert, + two glasses of wine, for a cost of 1200 peso. The food was not worth the price, and the bill came with an obligatory 15% tip, something that was not mention beforehand. So when I went back, i had only some wine (which also is heavily overpriced, but difficult to find in Mérida), this time I didn't look at the bill very close, instead paid what it said assuming that they had added the tip to it just like last time. They did apparently not, as the owner then started a rant about how rude it is not to tip, while refusing to listen to me trying to explain that I assumed it was added automatically, like last time. He did eventually calm down, and we ended on better terms, but honestly this behavior is just completely uncalled for in the first place. Long story short, unless you want to be both robbed and insulted, avoid this place at all cost.
