On May 4th, I stopped by to buy an orange juice in the morning, and after I'd left, I realized it was bad. Because I was on my way to work, I couldn't go back to complain. Today, I went back and told the manager what happened. She very kindly admitted that they had a problem with the juice yesterday and asked me to get another one. The problem arose when the other manager said that "I should have tasted the juice before leaving." I simply replied that thank you very much; I only came down to tell them what happened, but I didn't need a refund. It's a shame that they blame the customer for a mistake they clearly made and admitted.
