I remember this place as far back in the 1980s. used to be more German than what it is nowadays, today is more like an American/Mexican with a twist of German eatery.

This restaurant was a little bit out of my way and I was a little nervous that I would not like it. I loved it because it was different from the places I normally eat. The decore was very European and reminded me of my vacations to the continent. I am sure the food is not %100 German, but just like everything in the USA and Mexico, it becomes Mexicanized or Americanized. When you put that aside, the food was great. Can’t wait to go again, however I live far away.

Very unique restaurant centered around a German style decor and theme. There's a good variety of drinks, especially Artisan beers from around the world. The food also has good variety with many Steakhouse type plates and options. Prices are high but you are basically paying for the German ambience. Still this is one of the staple restaurants in Mexicali

Food flavor is good, service os Ok, prices on the higher range. I think there are other options in the same level but with better prices. And food taste.

Good cuts of beef choices! Great selection of beer! The bar and the dining are separate for different atmospheres. If you have an electric car you can charge it in their parking lot.

Ok for starters the food & service were very good. Not the best I've had in Mexicali but very good. My complaint however is that I drove half way across town to come have German food. The only thing German about this place was the name, decorations & beer. This is NOT a German food restaurant. If you want German food keep looking. If you want a good German beer & some decent steaks you're on!

Food is so-so. Not the greatest for the price. This place has fame, but food is only "ok". Heard it had good steaks, but I'd rather have steak elsewhere. Meat didnt look fresh, wasnt cooked as requested (med-rare) and was not a steak cut.

If you really enjoy German food. Don't go here. They don't have any. Decent Mexican fare. Nice beer selection, neat atmosphere. I guess German food is not popular in Mexicali.....so I'm sure they serve what sells.

This place has changed over time, and I wouldn't consider it a German dining experience any longer. More of a casual steak and beer place. I prefer their sister restaurant, "Enya." The staff is amiable and helpful.

I have never been to this restaurant although I have driven by it for years. Finally someone suggested that we go have dinner there. It smelled good and looked cozy, but I didn’t like the smoke indoors. All the smoke from the grill was inside the restaurant and we all walked out smelling like it. The beer selection was ok, the food was ok, we didn’t really get what we thought we ordered. Well, I was always curious about this place, now I know. :/

If you visit this place in september and october waiters and waitresses are disguised as bavarian. Taste… Not the good you expect, even less than average. But beer is good and they have many options.

No German beers on tap! Only bottled imports. No German food either - had some ok empanadas. My friend really loved the bread though and apparently it is popular, but I couldn't figure out what was special about it. Bottled beer + empanadas = $$$$ a bit on the pricier side than what you would spend at a truly German bar in the U.S.

The best was the Jamaica tacos, we ordered several appetizers and the grilled meat variety for 5 people, it was okay nothing was delicious as I expected it to be with the high rating. The drink we ordered was Jumex orange juice sold as fresh, not impressed with this as they are expensive drinks. My guests were happy with the food that's why I gave it a 3 star rating.

Food tasted pretty good. The steak fillet sandwich i ordered had one half with barely enough near to cover the bread and the other side had a tiny little bite of meat and all bread. They have us saltines and butter instead of bread (I saw every other table be served bread). And food took about 30 minutes to be served. Not great

They need to place a sign or something so people will respect the EV charging spots
