Motek in South Beach is literally an amazing restaurant. Everything about it is excellent. The service is outstanding, the staff is welcoming and attentive, and the overall atmosphere is just incredible. The setting is beautiful and makes the whole experience even better. The food is exceptional. In the United States, we are often used to very heavy and greasy meals, but Motek offers something completely different. The cuisine is inspired by the Middle East, and everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and well balanced. It is truly high-quality food. You can go there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, which makes it very convenient. They also have a fantastic happy hour where many items from the menu are offered in smaller portions for just 5 dollars each. It is perfect for a small after-work aperitif or even after spending the day at the beach. I have eaten there several times already and I never get tired of it. I cannot wait to go back. It is truly an incredible place.

I could not have ordered a better day for brunch at Motek. Cool breeze, bright sky and a perfect table. There are several Moteks in South Florida and our Uber brought us to South Beach via 395 ✅️ but then took us north several miles to a location that exists 20+ blocks away. My guest realized and suggested we just stay there. Thank goodness I insisted we head back south. After brunch, my guest thanked me for insisting we travel back to our original destination. We sat next to the sidewalk under the big tree. Immediately inside was a bit too warm for me. There is seating toward the rear, but it was too glorious a day for that. My first time anywhere, I tend to try several dishes. Here's my take: Labneh with Olive Oil 10/10 The Labneh is sour and tangy -- certainly more flavorful than anything you can buy in a store, and the Olive Oil must have been kissed by the gods. The Mushroom Hummus was like nothing I've ever tasted. So much flavor, so bright and bold -- I've never had hummus like this! 100/10 The Laffa was made by an angel. 10/10 Crispy Cauliflower, this was the only low note of the meal. Not crispy, no flavor, I would not order this dish again. The Crispy Artichoke was another top dish! Exactly what you'd imagine in your wildest dreams. 10/10 Our main dishes came straight from our server's recommendations, the Greek Salad was a thing of beauty and my guest mentioned they'd never tasted cucumbers like those. The Arayes Burger sounded so intriguing and the server said they'd never had anything like it. Check ✅️ and check ✅️ made with beef and lamb inside pita . . . it was delicious. The dips/sauces added nicely to the dish. 10/10 I'm sure the food is good at the other locations in South Florida, but it's hard to beat South Beach on a beautiful February day. Can't wait to go back.

My friend recommended Motek to us. So grateful. Best Labneh with olive oil and Turkish bread, so fluffy and delicious. Very good crispy artichoke and desserts. Our server Jordan was amazing, professional, attentive, knowledgeable. Highly recommend Motek!!

We haven’t booked in but it’s attractive look and charming energy space drawn me an my husband for a sit down meal. We were not disappointed at all. The service was very good, the food (starters) arrived before I even had a chance to blink. Waiter gave very detailed information of choices from the menu, and suggested great food what to go for our liking (less fat) Food service and decor of a place is on top! We left with smiles on our faces, great energy of a restaurant for sure 👌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Authentic Israeli cuisine absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the portions were generous for the price, and the flavors were exceptional. We chose to sit outside, service was prompt, and the food arrived quickly fresh, vibrant, and full of depth. The complimentary pickles and seasoned vegetables, reminiscent of central Israel’s farm traditions, were a thoughtful touch. Even the wall art and artifacts around the walls going to the restrooms reflected cultural pride and authenticity. We’ll definitely be back.

We had an amazing dinner at Motek. The outdoor seating under a large tree with lanterns felt romantic and peaceful — a beautiful atmosphere for an evening out. We ordered the Turkish Pita (which reminded us of Georgian khachapuri), Crispy Eggplant, Beef Kufta, Turkish Lamb, Israeli Salad, and Greek Lemon Potatoes. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The peppers served with the kebabs turned out to be unexpectedly and intensely spicy — it would be helpful if that was mentioned on the menu. Service was attentive and warm, without being intrusive. One small note: the bottled beer (possibly 8 or 11 oz) felt a bit overpriced at $10, especially given the portion size. Would’ve preferred a larger option or draft alternative. Still, overall, a great dinner experience in Miami Beach.

I absolutely love this place, especially for happy hour, and it’s easily one of my favorite spots in Miami Beach. The food, drinks, and overall atmosphere are wonderful, and I always look forward to stopping by. If it weren’t for one small limitation, I would give it a full five stars. My only wish is that they allowed happy hour in the gorgeous outdoor seating area. Even on days when the restaurant is more than half empty, happy hour is still limited to the bar or the high-top tables inside. As a local who often rides my bike to the restaurant, this can be a little frustrating. Miami Beach has some of the best weather in the world, and being able to enjoy a relaxing happy hour outside—feeling the sun, the breeze, and the vibrant energy of the city—would make the experience absolutely perfect. There’s such a lovely outdoor space, and it feels like a missed opportunity to restrict happy hour to indoor seating. That said, the overall experience here is consistently excellent, and a huge part of that is the incredible service. Robinson, in particular, always goes above and beyond to make every visit special. Friendly, attentive, and professional, he ensures that your drinks are poured perfectly, the food arrives on time, and everyone feels welcome. Each time I visit, Robinson makes the experience significantly better, and I genuinely look forward to seeing him whenever I come in. His attention to detail and warm personality make a big difference and are a big reason I keep returning. The food here is fantastic. Their hummus is hands down the best in Miami, creamy, flavorful, and always fresh. Whether you’re grabbing a quick snack at happy hour or enjoying a full meal, the quality is consistently high, and the flavors are spot-on. Combined with the drinks and the overall atmosphere, it’s clear why this place is such a local favorite. Even with the small limitation on outdoor happy hour seating, this spot remains one of the best happy hour destinations on the beach. I’ll definitely be back—partly for the food and drinks, partly for the service, and partly just to enjoy the vibrant Miami Beach vibe. My hope is that, on slower days, they might allow a little more flexibility with the outdoor seating, so patrons like me can truly enjoy the gorgeous weather while sipping a cold drink. That would make the happiest hour here absolutely perfect. In conclusion, this restaurant offers amazing food, drinks, and service, and with just a bit more flexibility on happy hour seating, it could easily earn a perfect five-star rating in my book. Until then, I’ll keep coming back, enjoying Robinson’s excellent service, the fantastic hummus, and of course, the unbeatable happy hour experience on the beach.

Motek — where Israeli comfort food meets Miami cool. From the moment you spot the iconic yellow Fiat out front, you know you’re in for something special. Bright, airy, buzzing energy, and food that hits every note. 🥙 The food: Perfectly crispy falafel, silky hummus, fresh chopped salads, warm fluffy pita, and that schnitzel… golden, crunchy, and addictive. Every dish is vibrant, balanced, and full of authentic Mediterranean flavour. 🌿 The vibe: Casual yet stylish, great for sharing plates, lingering lunches, or just soaking up that Tel Aviv-meets-South-Beach feel. 🔥 Why it works: Fresh ingredients, bold flavours, generous portions, and consistently done right. One of those places you’ll crave again before you even leave. 📍 A must-visit if you love Israeli/Mediterranean cuisine done properly.

That’s another level of Motek!!! Space is stunning, we came twice for dinner, and celebrated VDay because it’s just unbelievable. The GM Pedro is awesome, the staff is great, but the food is just unbelievable guys!! Mind blowing and also it’s lot expensive!

Absolutely fantastic. Off the beaten path of south beach in a upscale South Beach neighborhood. Great portions. We split and shared all the food. FYI: 20% service charge already added in. Service was good but I tipped another 20% on top of that...OMG. Not knowing about the service charge after i had martinis....lol.

Thank you always! It was my second visit to my favorite store. Yesterday, Mr. Nicholas, the waiter, observed the customers well like Mr. David last time, and I was very satisfied! Mr. Nicholas was very considerate and I was very satisfied! I will definitely go there again, including affiliated stores in New York! Thank you so much for always! Next time, I'm going to visit my favorite daughter! Have a good day!

Set in a beautiful location with seating under the canopy of a large tree, Motek serves quality food and wonderful cocktails. It’s a great choice for vegetarians and vegans. We wanted to go for happy hour, but it was already booked out, so we returned for dinner. We ordered a few meze, and my absolute favorite was the babaganoush.

I really like the interior of the restaurants, the seating is cozy and the menu offers many different options. Everything we tasted was very tasty, particularly the Schnitzel Challah. We booked online but we still had to wait some time before being seated.

I had such an amazing experience at Motek South Beach! From the moment we walked in, everything was top tier — the ambiance, the food, and especially the service. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Everything we ordered came out beautifully presented and full of flavor. Definitely some of the best Mediterranean food in South Beach. But what truly made our experience exceptional was our server, Olvis. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He gave great recommendations, checked on us at the perfect times, and made sure everything was flawless from start to finish. You can tell he genuinely cares about providing a great experience. If you’re going to Motek, ask for Olvis — he’s the best! We’ll definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love this place - especially for happy hour - and I would give it 5 stars if they allowed happy hour in the gorgeous outdoor area. The restaurant could be more than half empty, but they only allow happy hour at the Bar or the high-top tables inside. It’s a little frustrating because, as a local, I really enjoy riding my bike to the restaurant… and sitting outside, enjoying the Beautiful Miami Beach weather would make it a perfect afternoon. I will say that the service I receive from Robinson each time I go, definitely makes the overall experience so much better. Robinson is the best! This place definitely has the best happy hour on the beach & the best humus in Miami. I’ll definitely be back, but I’m still hoping for more flexibility on the seating situation - especially on slow days. This is the best time of year to live in Miami Beach and I would love to enjoy our gorgeous weather… that would make it the happiest hour yet 🙂

We love motek so we ate here twice on our trip in Miami. The food as always was delicious and crafted beautifully. We love the mushroom Hummus and schnitzel sandwich. Just a heads up...if you call to make a reservation and inquire about happy hour the AI they have wont tell you it's first come first serve and that it's bar seating only. We found out once we got to the restaurant and of course there was zero bar seats. We talked to multiple people about the misunderstanding and they wouldn't honor it at the table. I can't imagine we were the first to be confused. Despite that part feeling very deceiving and them seeming unapologetic about it, I still would eat here again because the food is unbeatable.

Eventually .. We had a very good time in Motek and the food was delicious. Problem is that we had booked and specifically requested a table in the patio (coming physically at the restaurant to do so and we were told it was ok ) and when we arrived, there were tables available in the patio but the lady in reception looked at us (not very nicely) and directly offered us a table inside telling us there was no table available outside .. We had to negotiate hard with her manager to be able to have a table outside .. not the best one but at least not inside, at the back near the toilets door where no one wants to sit ..

I visited Motek for the first time and unfortunately did not have a great experience. I came with my husband and our 15-month-old daughter, so we had a stroller with us. We told our waiter we were interested in ordering from the happy hour menu, and he informed us that happy hour was only available at the bar. I politely asked if an exception could be made since we were seated outside because we had a baby with us. He immediately said it wasn’t possible and offered to bring over a manager — but explained that the manager would simply reiterate the same policy. The response felt very rehearsed, as though this is something guests frequently question. I then asked if we could bring the stroller inside to sit near the bar area where there were open high-top tables and plenty of space, and was told no. There was also an available table right outside the entrance that could have comfortably accommodated us and the stroller, yet no alternative solution or accommodation was offered. It was disappointing, especially since there is signage outside advertising happy hour from 2–5 PM, which feels misleading when reasonable accommodations cannot be made for families dining with young children. The food was good, though somewhat overpriced. Overall, the experience felt inflexible and not particularly welcoming to guests with children. **Please also note that one of my friends went to the Motek in Brickell yesterday and had a similar experience with the happy hour menu. They should be more clear about the happy hour only being available at the bar on the sign!

Today I arrived at 4:50 PM specifically to catch their happy hour (which ends at 5:00). There was an empty table available — I could clearly see it — but the hostess refused to seat me, saying the table “wasn’t ready” and that there was no one available to clean it. I even offered to wait for it to be cleaned, but she still would not seat me. It was frustrating to be turned away despite arriving before happy hour ended and despite there being visible open seating. As a returning customer, this felt unnecessary and poorly handled. I hope management addresses this, because it’s not a good way to treat guests who are actually trying to support the business.

Went in for the Happy Hour , Ive been to the Aventura and Mid beach location and those locations are always a pleasure. This was my first time in the south of fifth location, they said any table inside or the bar , i sit down and someone comes and says “I wasnt clear but not these tables” and tells me to get up , then i go back to hostess to tell her what happened and shes like yea we have nothing ,you’ll have to wait , i said can I wait at a chair and she said no , i stood up for 45 mins outside and a couple who came before me stood by the kitchen, took a table before i could and i watched them accommodate them and looked at the hostess like am i invisible , then i finally get a seat at the bar and it takes 20 minutes to get a drink and on top of that they allowed a girl to stand at the bar (first they said no ,then eventually just let her stay) while her friend sat in one chair and it wasnt fair to me ,served them champagne before i got to even order my drink! they were even reading from my menu because they havent been serviced with a menu yet. My pastrami came out burnt and overall i felt pushed aside by the their team..idk if id go back to this location

Yesterday I went to dine for my birthday, ask for bar seating but it was full, then asked for a table and they sat me by the fire exit. Most disturbing location to sit in the place. Felt uncomfortable, asked to have my food picked up to take away and to have the rest of my order as well. The manager came over, tried to sort the matter but that type of seating should not exist overall. I was uncomfortable so I thanked him for trying to fix the situation but I preferred to eat at home. He comped the hummus, which I was grateful (and I would of paid bit he didn'tlet me, very nice guy btw), my server just brought over two boxes but no bag and once I paid, he disappeared as I stayed waiting for my order to be delivered to go. Another waiter came over, helped me out, which was so kind to find me a bag to go and at the end, I finally got my food to go. Overall, food was good, service could of been much better from the start (not after complaining) and vibe, couldn't tell as I was practically by the pool of the venue next door to the fire exit. Would I return here, nope. Would I recommend, nope. However, I would recommend the Aventura location 1000% over the South Beach venue. Note to everyone, don't accept a seating just because you want to eat. Make sure you feel comfortable before placing an order. My own lesson learned.

THE PICTURE OF THE YOUNG BOY IN THE CERULEAN YAMAKA IS PRICELESS. Mistakes are made and the Talmud teaches us that together we fix them. This is a welcomed addition in our SOBE neighborhood. There are a few kinks that need to be ironed out. This restaurant is well appointed and there is one picture that almost made me cry. You must find it. A young boy with a cerulean blue yamaka on. Priceless. I am not going to comment on the food except if you order the lemon potatoes don’t…. DO NOT… take them home. The take home package is insufficient and needs to be double boxed..a smaller box in a larger one and rubber bands to secure it. And then maybe a plastic bag needs to be added or the kitchen staff needs to problem this. Why? The sauce oozed out of the box out of two bags onto a bespoke shirt. Then stupidly, I placed the bag down so that I could save the shirt and from there it became an odious nightmare. In the mean time this sauce had volcanically oozed everywhere. Instead of all this verbosity. Just look at the pictures. I remind you the paper bags at Motek are white. The service staff were jovial and friendly. I am not placing blame on them but someone bagged it up; and again this is a team problem. I don’t know how else to get them to do something. I just don’t want a woman’s Dior or Max Mara or a man’s Tallit stained.
