Delicious! Every bite! Pricey, but worth it! Roberto was attentive, helpful and very knowledgeable! Highly recommended! Our food came out fast at the perfect temperature. Only drawback: cutlery should be placed in such way that handles come out first when taken out of the paper bags!

We visited on a lively Saturday night so there was a DJ spinning and a drummer for some additional rhythm. I must commend the DJ though, that man could mix as effortless as breathing. The drinks took a while so much so that we thought the order was forgotten. They were worth the wait though. Strong and presentation at 100%. I strongly recommend their Marajito - strong, bubbly and delightfully sweet. The food choices weren't on the menu but due to my non-dairy situation our waiter carefully designed a fabulous option consisting of white fish with clams, mussels and shrimp with some cassava and a side of white rice for me. Okay so one word - YUM! Our waiter was very helpful and on point. Next time that it's possible for me, I will revisit. Loved the decor and elements at Dr Limon quite tasteful and modern.

This was my first experience at Dr. Limon Ceviche Bar and I will definitely be back. The food and drinks are absolutely delicious. My server made excellent recommendations after hearing that I had never eaten there before. The sampler contained ceviche, chaufa, fried ceviche and jalea del mar. It provided enough food for 2-3 people and it's also a great way to try a few dishes without having to order them separately. I did take off one star because the atmosphere itself isn't very inviting and I had to constantly ask for refills on my water. A tad bit more attention would have been nice, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy at the time.

Dr. Limon is my favorite Peruvian restaurant in Miami. The food is consistently delicious & I recommend it to everyone I know!

The food is great! I love to go with my family or friends, I always have the Aji de gallina that is amazing and tasty. The sushi and the causa limeña are also good. Prices are not that cheap, specially for the cocktails, but still pretty normal for Miami. The service is good. Avoid lunch or dinner time as will find a lot of people.

I had a fantastic experience at Dr. Limon! The ambiance is stylish, with great music, and the food is incredibly fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Fiebre Amarilla ceviche mixto, which was outstanding. Our server, Daniel, was attentive and knowledgeable, providing great explanations for each dish. Highly recommend.

Fresh, delicious Peruvian meals. I was very impressed on presentation & flavor of the dishes. Must have the Pisco sour & house fruit shake. Very important. Gratuity is added to check but may choose to add more tip or reduce according to service. My service was superb.

What an excellent service and the food is great, but what else can you say about Peruvian food? Is one of the best worldwide, I want to thank Andrea our server, she went above and beyond to make us feel good, she recommended a dish and she wasn't wrong, it was delicious. Keep up the good work and the great service.

Place was awesome,, very cozy. The food was very well prepared and the flavour was amazing. The service is super fast, they have a well amount of employees to make sure you get the attention you deserve. I found it a bit expensive but Ceviche is never cheap. I would say that this a place that you will spend around 50 per person.

The service was friendly and attentive. This place can get pretty busy so expect a crowd but rarely a wait to be seated. Also keep in mind gratuity is added to the bill after the tax. Lovely restaurant with great food. You won't be disappointed!

I was pleasantly surprised by their octopus dish - I normally avoid eating octopus due to it being chewy and bland, but here it was not chewy whatsoever and also packed with flavor. In regards to service - it was top notch. The waiter was extremely attentive and also helpful in deciding what dishes to try. Overall, I highly recommend checking this place out if you have a craving for Peruvian food!

First time visiting, and it was AMAZING starting with our server Lazaro which asked us if it was our first time. And so he provided us with the best recommendations which we loved all the mix of flavors. We loved how professional he was at explaining all the plates that we might be interested in and also the cocktail was amazing. I walked in to use the bathroom and ended up staying for happy hour! It was their house made margaritas and wine that was half off and they had a happy hour food menu! The food here never ever disappoints! Absolutely stunning and tastes even better than it looks! I have been to the Kendall location as well and so we knew this place would be just as great. The only reason why this review is not 5 stars is because of the service. Although everyone was very friendly and accommodating, I feel like they need to work on some things if they are to maintain their popularity. We place our appetizer and drink order in a reasonable timing, but then our dinner order was not taken until after we had FINISHED the appetizer (the plate was even removed from our table). We asked several times to have the waiter come take our order, each time she left and said "yes of course i will be right back." We even asked someone else to please take our order and he said he would tell our waiter to come by and take it. After about 30 minutes of trying to flag her down and completely finishing the appetizer is when she came to speak to us. We just told her what we wanted and she didn't write it down so it was odd that we had to wait so long just to tell her. Thankfully the food itself was amazing and after we were able to place our orders, our food came out rather quickly, thus we will be coming back to eat here another time. We truly hope it was just a one night only experience, because everything else was great. You wouldn't even know that a hurricane came through just a day ago with the amount of people here on a Tuesday night.

The good : Out server Luis, exceptional service. As soon as we sat we had water ready on our table. From the food - The Mar y Tierra was very good. The bad: Pulpo del Dr Moreno - Flavorwise good, but it was not tender at all, not even a single piece. It was very chewy and very hard to bite on and swallow. For $25 I would expect much better. Also, “Las canchitas” tasted old.

Nothing crazy. Your typical ceviche place. A little pricey for the quality they serve, but nothing crazy. If you want to go, fine; if not, keep driving. Lots of parking space.

Update 2022/08 Updating my review from 5 stars, down to a generous 2 due to the experience we had today, when we visited in person. Service was very slow, and at every request we were made to feel we were asking for too much (extra soy sauce, extra egg slices for the huancaina, water?!?) While the food was amazing, the drinks were not to our liking, so we exchanged one for a different drink, and requested to cancel the second one. Our server Patricio (I think) at first said it could not be done, so we said ok; however a tall gentleman at the front approved the return of the drink. When it was time to pay, the server explained the situation to the lady behind the counter, and she gave him a full on eye roll and displayed a fully disgruntled expression, without even making eye contact with us…. This was the rudest expression we have ever gotten from a restaurant, and it made us regret having stepped in for a dine in meal, since we order so frequently through Uber. This experience completely soured our opinion of this place. We even left regretting the 20% tip we left for the server. We love the food, but I would not walk in for a meal again, with the exception of the tall gentleman at the front (which seemed to be the manager); the individual behind the counter and our server, could better serve in the kitchen area or somewhere else away from the customers, not everyone has the aptitude for customer service and hospitality. 2019 I always order through uber, but the food is always fresh and well prepared. Definitely recommend!

I had high expectations for this restaurant since it has good reviews here on Google but it was so disappointing. To start, the food tasted like nothing if I might say. The Camaron al Ajillo had no flavor other than the parsley and oil, the Lomo Salteado was barely 5 pieces of meat with a lot of rice, and french fries and no flavor at all either. The shake was also tasteless. The food is expensive compared to its quality, so I would definitely not recommend this place if you are looking for a place to have a delicious dinner.

I ordered the Pargo Acevichado, listed on the menu as the Chef’s favorite. It was indeed available, but what they served was very poor quality: the fish tasted like it was breaded and badly prepared, with an unpleasant flavor—nothing like what you’d expect from a signature $39 dish. The pairing with risotto and salty shrimp made it worse: flavors were far too intense and not enjoyable to the palate. The waiter’s service was fine, but the food was a big disappointment. The only positives were the house cocktail and the cold Cusqueña beer, which saved the evening. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

It used to be good, but the quality has been declining. We ordered yuca a la huancaína, and the yuca had a weird taste and awful texture. The ceviche had a good flavor but hardly any fish, and the Pisco Sour was bad. Im making a review for my mother, she ordered a jalea mixta, tree flavored ceviche, and a crab tostones through door dash. Total of over $100 just for 3 dishes. The food came and it was just mediocre at best for the price. The “jalea mixta” was about 80% fish, it had 1 or 2 shrimps and insanely burnt conch or whatever it was they out in there that was inedible. The crab tostones was very very hard almost inedible, unless you have teeth of steel. The only good thing that came was the ceviche. This place use to be good, but the quality of food has come down A LOT. Terrible food for high prices. I rather eat from Pollo Inka, has much better food at lower prices. Dr. limon is truly become a sub 4.0 restaurant. Never ordering from here again.

My wife went there to pick up food today and when she got her food and started eating it, the noodles were ice cold but the meat was warm. She called them and asked if they can remake the noodles for her cause they were cold and with an attitude the lady responded back in Spanish saying she wasn’t going to remake the order. I came back to this restaurant after years, excited to enjoy dishes I’ve always loved, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The causa, which is one of my favorite plates, was completely soaked in huancaína sauce, overpowering the traditional flavor. The lomo saltado was overly seasoned, and the chaufa did not taste the way it used to. The servers and staff were nice and helpful, no complains about that. It was very dissatisfying for me and my family to notice how much the flavors and original Peruvian recipes have changed. Sadly, this experience did not meet our expectations, and we won’t be coming back.

Today was Valentines Day and really disappointment because most of the staffs just chilling near by entrance talking a lot by not attending the customers including me and my wife. It’s been 25 minutes that no one brought our appetizer nor main course . The waitress who supposed to attend was talking most of the staffs and bartenders including walking outside with her cellphone even placing order another customers. It was a mess saying the food is coming in a few minutes. We decided to cancel the orders and leave even they offer the food for free which we refused it. Yes , they didn’t charge the drinks but I gave the waitress $20 because the bartender did the drinks and even it’s free I don’t accept it. Staffs should be eyeing every 2-3 minutes for the customers and checking out the kitchen even the food is ready or not causing a long delay especially special occasion holidays . Went there 2 years ago and it was fast great service. Today it was disaster and never again coming back. Losing a customer who could be served and eat less than 15 minutes from Appetizer to Main Course is a loss of $200 for a table of 2. Please, don’t ask me to replied your email because I won’t respond. Just train your entire staffs better and less lacking of work. I’m pretty sure you have cameras to see the evidence of wrongness.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Dr. Limón, a place that has been one of my favorites. Today, I placed a pickup order, including a sushi tropical roll, and I was truly let down. The tropical roll looked like it was made from leftovers, as it was half the size of what they normally serve. It didn't even have complete edges, which seemed very odd. Additionally, the shrimp was half what they usually put in. I feel sad and disappointed because I had high expectations from Dr. Limón. Unfortunately, after this experience, I don't think I'll be back. I hope they can improve their service and customer care to regain loyal customers like me.

I ordered the Pargo Acevichado, listed on the menu as the Chef’s favorite. It was indeed available, but what they served was very poor quality: the fish tasted like it was breaded and badly prepared, with an unpleasant flavor—nothing like what you’d expect from a signature $39 dish. The pairing with risotto and salty shrimp made it worse: flavors were far too intense and not enjoyable to the palate. The waiter’s service was fine, but the food was a big disappointment. The only positives were the house cocktail and the cold Cusqueña beer, which saved the evening. Overall, I would not recommend this place.
