We had a wonderful brunch at Ava Mediterranean! Alec was our server and truly stood out — attentive, friendly, and made the experience feel effortless. The $45 prix-fixe brunch menu was a perfect mix of dishes and a great value for the quality and variety. Everything we tried was delicious and well balanced. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and has a great atmosphere for a relaxing brunch. We’re already looking forward to coming back

We had the absolute pleasure of having Kay as our server tonight at Ava. It was our first time, my husband and I, and it was his birthday dinner. Kay was extremely knowledgeable about the wine selection and offered us excellent suggestions for our dinner which made it a very enjoyable experience. Ava has done and incredible job of remodeling the restaurant space. The ambiance inside or outside (we sat outside) was truly incredible. Service was perfect even with shadow servers training. Service makes a difference and they surpassed expectations. The food was delicious…the fried zucchini (not big on fried foods) was light, thin and cooked perfectly. We opted for the lamb cops and salmon. Quality, flavorful and beautiful presentation. Going back for the salt crusted baked Branzino next week. We loved our experience.

The service was exceptional - special thanks to Laura, who made the evening feel truly personalized and welcoming. We finished with a deliciously spicy baklava, which was a memorable surprise. All dishes were beautifully paired with excellent wines. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Restaurant for brunch is amazing. The ambiance, service, music, seating, decor —creates a relaxing and very luxurious feeling . Pricing is reasonable with a variety of options for many budgets. AVA did fantastic job with the space. Outdoor seating has overhead coverage if needs to be used for rain. I love the decor; modern, warm, lovely plants and love the curtains. Menus (beverages, wine, food) have a beautiful selection. The beverage menu has a helpful description of options; as well as a great intro of their mixology philosophy. Food presentations are lovely. Server Maria did a bread service with warm, homemade bread, and Maria, snipped fresh herbs into the olive oil. My husband ordered the prix fix ($45),; hummus and crispy flatbread. delicious. A burger and skinny fries. Amazing. And dessert. i ordered shashuka ($20). Perfectly prepared (I like my egg drippy); with toasts. All fantastic. For dessert (prix fix menu) hubby ordered coconut sorbet and raspberry sorbet. Perfect end to a well-received brunch. Maria provided excellent service and was welcoming, and answered questions we had with friendliness. All staff is friendly and seem happy to be here! what else? seating is super comfy with various options and cushions. WE WILL BE BACK!

We had an amazing dinner at Ava. Every dish we ordered was a hit—the meatballs and octopus appetizers are must-tries to start the meal. For our mains, the branzino was fresh and perfectly prepared, and the hanger steak was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. Ava is simply outstanding. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere, the service, and the attention to detail make you feel like you’re in a truly special place. We want to especially highlight Shantall, who took care of us and was absolutely amazing. Super attentive, friendly, and professional, with great energy. Her recommendations were spot on, she was always on top of everything without being intrusive, and she genuinely elevated our entire experience. The food was exceptional. The sea bass carpaccio was incredible, and the lamb was spectacular — honestly the best lamb I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. Everything was perfectly executed, with beautiful presentation and amazing flavors. You can really tell when a restaurant cares about every detail, and Ava definitely does. 100% recommended. We’ll definitely be back, and hopefully Shantall will be our server again.

We had such a wonderful experience at AVA MediterrAegean. Our server Jasmine was incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and her helper Skyler was equally wonderful. They both took such great care of us and our dogs, which made the experience even more special. We ordered the zucchini squash blossoms, hanger steak, and truffle spaghetti — every single dish was excellent. And the Dubai chocolate soufflé… absolutely out of this world 🤍 one of the best desserts we’ve had in a long time. Amazing food, thoughtful service, and a truly lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back — thank you Jasmine and Skyler for making our night so memorable!

Spectacular food and excellent service! Everything was great from beginning to end. Definitely recommend the meatballs and the halloumi appetizer. We had the Branzino and full rack of lamb. The highlight of my experience here was Raul. That man should get a raise! If there was a book written on spectacular service, Raul would be the author. As for the food. For the price it was average. The food was all good to decent. The Greek dips were pretty underwhelming. The fish was good but it’s expensive so it should be good. Nice ambiance and interior design.

Celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant. The ambiance itself is nice and we felt like we were no longer in Miami! Our servers Laura and Valentina were excellent and very attentive, although no acknowledgment of our anniversary but they seemed to mention it at the table next to us. Now on to the food. We loved the hummus, but the bread ratio was lacking. We ordered more and were charged $3. Odd. The octopus was fantastic and we enjoyed the asparagus salad. We ordered a fresh simply grilled branzino which was presented table side, where our server and another gentleman attempted to filet it. By the time both were done deboning it, the fish was lukewarm. The flavor was “simple” and left us wondering if it really was marinated in mojo. The accompanying sauces did help with flavor, but at $85+ you would hope for a spectacular entree. For the price point, they need to work on the flavors in the main entrees. We hope they figure this out!

We went for brunch on a Sunday. We were seated immediately upon arrival, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent for the first 30 minutes. After that, no one paid attention to us. We ordered dessert, and it arrived two hours later, and it wasn't even what we ordered. The waitress disappeared, and they charged us for items we didn't order. The service was terrible. They just opened in Miami, and I hope they improve their service to match the quality of their food, which is wonderful.

The vibe is cool. Outdoor seating is very nice. The food was underwhelming. The bread and olive oil brought to us at the beginning was probably the best food we got during the dinner. The waiter came by and cut fresh herbs into the olive oil with salt and pepper. The Greek Spread was 3 small bowls of dips served with this kind of weird chip/bread situation. Should have been served with pita or a softer bread. The octopus was fine. Nothing to write home about. The sea bass was not good. Do not recommend.

We visited AVA Coconut Grove as a party of six to celebrate Valentine’s Day. While the atmosphere and food were great, our experience had some service issues. When we placed our order, we requested several dishes, including two orders of Sea Bass. About five minutes later, our server returned to inform us that the dish was unavailable. When we asked about other fish options, we were told that there were no fish options at all. As a result, we had to choose the Yellowtail at Market Price. When the food arrived, we did not have utensils on the table. Additionally, the guest who ordered the fish received their meal after everyone else had already finished eating. Unfortunately, no one came to apologize for this situation. When we spoke with both the manager and the server, they seemed surprised, showing a lack of communication in the service. It is important to mention that ALL THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. It is truly a shame that these service issues affected what could have been a perfect dining experience. What a shame !! We never come back again
