Very nice atmosphere and appearance a good selection a bakery in pastries items
About the only place that is open 7am. Super clean and eye-catching treats. I recommend.
1.14.25 After walking by this cafe many times, I finally stopped in. They offer various types of coffees, sandwiches, and the most amazing pastries. I really struggled with what to get because they looked so good. When you walk in take a number so you don't lose you place in line. They only accept credit cards over $5 min purchase. Once you order and pay, they give you a number to put on your table. You seat yourself, and they bring you your food. There are several tvs on and music plays in the background, so it's a bit loud. They also have a few seats outdoors. If you're in the area, I'd say this a must stop.
OMG there is nothing like this !! Wow it is great place , clean and a lot of facturas or deserts, thes chain of restaurants are awesome 100% recommend
I had an amazing time at this Argentinian bakery with my friends! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a fun and relaxing outing. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish we tried was packed with authentic flavors, and the pastries were to die for. It’s the ideal spot to gather with friends and enjoy great food in a cozy setting. If you’re looking for a place to indulge in incredible Argentinian flavors while having a good time with friends, this bakery is a must-visit!
We bought some food to go from here for breakfast this morning and were really impressed with all the items we purchased. It was super fresh, and delicious. Service was super fast and friendly too. Highly recommended!
This is where I eat breakfast every morning when I am in Miami! It is affordable, delicious and the service is great. An egg medialuna, alfajores and fresh orange juice is my go-to order. All of their pastries are delicious though! They also served me some the best espresso I’ve had so far in Miami!
When there with my fam in a Sunday morning! We got the Buenos Aires breakfast with is 16$ include coffee, eggs , bacon , sauces , fries and bread. The people who run the food and drinks were so nice
I have tried three cakes here and they are always so yummy
This is our favorite bakery. There's so much to choose from and it's all absolutely delicious!
Food is great as the previous store around the corner. Service is terrible 😑 same as the old one
Great food. Highly recommend the empanadas and the double chocolate cake.
This bakery is dangerous, just looking at all the cakes, cookies and other goodies you'll take 10 lbs. They are so good! I buy cakes there for birthdays, Christmas and occasions when I want to be fancy! The cake I got yesterday for my birthday was a vanilla cake with chantilly peach rasberry and dulce de leche. Delicious!!! It was enough for 6 and it cost $19.
It is amazing very good food and Service and exceptional place people and very clean and small as always very good. Amazing food.
I ordered a chicken milanesa but I French fries 🍟 cold !!! To the chef not good and all the tables were dirty. What happened to this place ? For a Monday in the afternoon. I hope the owner should read this.
Great service, delicious pastries, very good prices! Authentic and inviting. Dog friendly!
We sampled a variety of baked goods. Tres leches cake, coconut Carmel and passions fruit were all excellent.
From the authentic Argentinian pastries to the friend and oven-baked empanadas, this bakery offers more than just lattes and cookies. As an Argentinian, I can tell you the food here is authentic and worth checking out! There is a wide variety of sweets to choose from that are sure to hit the spot. If you’re not the sweets type, they sell everything from Argentinian pizza to sándwiches and hot empanadas. There’s a variety of drinks as well and easy parking nearby. This is my go-to for buying classic facturas (Argentinian baked goods).
Nice pastry shop, good coffee and nice staff. I love their outdoor terrace, so nice to sit and have a café with a freind kinda of place.
This place is awesome! Great things at a great price. Argentinian taste in every bite ❤️ Attention is warm. Visit them!
The best double espresso you can get in the area and an amazing selection of pastries and cold cuts. Everyone in here is super friendly and take care of you with a smile, even though I don't speak latin. I come down here I feel nostalgic for I look at the pastries coolers and brings me right back to the years I grew up in Greece, looking at the home made pastries displays in the local shops.
Come on in and let your gluttony run untethered. I'm not kidding. This place has incredible treats. Treat yourself to a milanesa sandwich, with some Argentinian pastries, cup of coffee. Pick up your dinner for tonight as well. The ladies behind the counter are very friendly, serviceable, and even in a full store, not one hint of annoyance. Wonderful. You'll look at the cakes, the pastries, the upper end fine pastries. Look at the pics! You'll want to eat it all. I can assure you that if you have never walked into an Argentina bakery, you'll fall in love and be a fan for life.
Great bakery, the pastries are fresh and delicious. The ladies behind the counter are fairly nice, but I wouldn't say they are the most friendly. This spot has great food, thus why I'm giving it 5 stars. You must also try the empanadas, I had the the onion and cheese one and it was exquisite.
Really like this place, a local legend really. I enjoy taking friends here, they are always infatuated with the pastries. I like that there aren’t only huge pastries but lots of small bites Great place for locals to grab a quick bite. But also highly recommend for tourists as this place is really a gem, and unique experience If you’ve never been to an Argentine pastry shop or want to try something new this place is a must
Strolling along 71st St in Miami we came across Bueno Aires Bakery and Cafe and decided to visit. The place is so inviting from the moment you step in! The display cases with all the baked goods from tarts to cakes to croissants, sandwiches, you name it. Such a wonderful selection of everything you can possibly imagine right in front of you! Our choices are shown in the photos the Key Lime, Chocolate cake and Milhoja. And let me add none of them disappointed! Absolutely delicious! We haven't enjoyed this quality of baking in many many years. The quality is outstanding. The young lady who helped us, Ms. Valentina was so very pleasant and helpful as well. Her service was exceptional. Though on vacation we plan to come back and visit them for another great experience. Please if you are in the area come by and visit them. This bakery will not disappoint you. Thank you to all the staff for your friendly advice and fantastic customer service. We will be back before we leave. A++++++++++++ Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Wish we could bring this bakery back to where we live!
I’ve been DYING to get my hands on authentic facturas, particularly medialunas, since I’ve been to Argentina almost a decade ago. I’ve found some places that make them stateside in the DMV but this is my first time trying it in Miami and boy did I find the right spot. The price for a dozen facturas is excellent - they have both medialunas de grasa as well as the more typical medialunas de Manteca. Believe me this hit the spot so hard. I was initially worried based on the lowish Yelp reviews but I find them completely unwarranted. Their colada is also excellent.
A long time favorite, one of the best places to go for a medialuna and espresso coffee in Miami. Real Argentinian-style bakery catering to a largely Argentinian crowd which means it must be authentic!
Tldr: Decent sweet and savory bakery options for very low prices. The service is friendly. Came here for a quick dessert after dinner. The flan with dulce de leche was quite reasonable for the very cheap price. I had to add a merengue on my order in order to get over the five dollar minimum for the credit cards, so yeah, the flan is inexpensive. I don't eat bread, so there isn't much here for me, but they do have a broad selection of baked goods. If that's what you're looking for, this seems to be the best bakery in the neighborhood, at least in terms of selection. My take on visual inspection is that the sweets are made with attention to detail, but I can't actually recommend them, apart from the flan. I found the staff to all be friendly and helpful, but they definitely weren't busy when I came in. I imagine things get pretty hectic in the mornings and at lunch.
THE best empanadas ever. Good value for money. Slight tip: Churros aren't ready in the early morning.
Buenos Aires Bakery & Cafe is a great spot for desserts and empanadas. Their dulce de leche treats are delicious, and the empanadas are tasty too. I've been there a few times and always had a good experience. The service is friendly, and they offer a nice variety of desserts. If you're craving dessert, definitely give it a try!
Incredible bakery. We loved the breakfast sandwich and empanadas. The staff are kind, generous and there is plenty of seating. The sweets are fantastic as well!
Give us this day, our daily facturas! Oh how we will miss daily breakfast at this cafe. We stayed nearby for 5 days and thus was the perfect post workout indulgence. The pastries were fresh and tasty! We’re used to similar pretty Mexican pastries but I found these to be far superior!
Coffee was really good. I had the tiramisu last time and it was excellent. We will be back when we are in town again.
Absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the smell alone lets you know you’re in for something special. Everything tastes fresh, authentic, and made with real care. The pastries are perfectly flaky, the empanadas are packed with flavor, and the sweets? Dangerous—in the best way 😄 The staff is warm and welcoming, and the vibe feels like a little slice of Argentina right in the neighborhood. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or stocking up on treats, this place never misses. Highly recommend—once you go, you’ll be back.
Wonderful Argentinian bakery and cafe to visit while in Miami. It’s our first day here and we’ve already visited twice. The baked goods are great and the coffee is good too! The evening hours are also a big plus for a place to hang out after dinner.
Not cheap, but high end pastry and service. Coffee served in a nice mug! Best empanada I had in Miami Beach! Delicious pastries you want to order everything. Beautiful place and great atmosphere to start your morning. I highly recommend this place!
A North Beach classic, although I just discovered the new location on 71st a few steps from Collins Ave. A warm croissant with a Cortadito coffee is irresistible, although in general all the pastries are delicious. The prices are very convenient and the staff is very friendly. If you pay by card your minimum consumption must be 5.
Great food. The place could be way way better
Nice little place, tried several pastries but was not impressed with any of them, was hoping for so much better.
Buenos Aires Bakery they also have a small but good choice of breakfast items made to order such as egg sausage wraps, omelette, etc besides their great assortment of empanadas, miga sándwiches and other kinds of wonderful sweets goods for any time of the day. It's a self service so when you come in take a number and wait to be call. Now this what I find that personal at the register should be a bit more courteous w the public especially if this your first time. It was difficult for me even though I am Spanish speaking. Their patience is short and don't offer much help when someone is trying to make a decision they actually act as if you are supposed to know all that they have available. I could return and hopefully I will get a nicer cashier. Atmosphere is nice and you can eat inside or outside.
With approximately 11,000 Argentineans, among many other Hispanic habitats, people joke of Miami as the "Capital of South America." Latin food is abundant there, and Argentinean cuisine can be easily found. Yet, value for the money is questionable in the Miami food circle, and I am there to smell it. Buenos Aires Bakery would be what in Argentina is called a "confiteria." Something like an Argentinean bakery, where you find the classic "facturas" (flakey, buttery, sometimes gooey, brazen pastries) and a Tea Salon combined; where you can either buy pastries, sandwiches, and more to go or sit down and enjoy them. The service in BA Bakery is very casual. You order at the counter. If you do not know what you want or are familiar with the products and pastries, it can be overwhelming. So I suggest reading and get familiarized with the menu first. The ladies behind the counter are super nice, but there are always many people in line, so knowing what to order does help. The lead-in BA bakery is the Facturas. Although they are not excellent, they are the best to find in Miami. Want better? take a plane to Ministro Pistarini. I would stick to the manteca ones, chewy and sugar balanced; the grease ones are not for me. Instead, I turn for the Vigilantes. I pass on the Churros. Manolo's are better. The Alfajores caseros are worth it. I like the white chocolate ones, although most of my friends boo at me for wanting white chocolate. (sigh) The sandwiches are delicious. I would only stick to the Jamon y Queso, unless you can convince them to prepare the other ones (tomate y huevo duro, jamon y morron, etc) right away and eat them on site. Otherwise, they get too soggy. You cannot go wrong with the empanadas, especially the carne ones. Pollo ones are a little dry. I love the onion and cheese, although some people might find them too sweet. The spinach ones are an excellent healthy option, not "tofu" style at all. The rest of the menu is good—nothing to die about. Like milanesa (breaded meat) con papas fritas, matambre (carrot and boiled egg stuffed veal thinly sliced) con ensalada rusa. Those two plates can be a nice novelty for newcomers and plain good for veterans in Argentinean food. Buenos Aires bakery's strength is the experience more than the food. It is a unique flash to my culture. One that is quite difficult to explain. Visiting this place gives a little accurate perspective.
We enjoyed an empanada (spinach, ham) and a garden salad with an ice tea. Afterwards we had an espresso and a small treat which just hit the spot. We had been traveling from Orlando all morning and it was just the perfect lunch. Also reasonably priced.
Im always coming here for Argentinian pastries but this time im a little disappointed.. the food was ok milanesa de pollo almost burned and medialuna con huevo and bacon so so.. the Argentina atmosphere wasn’t..on there no more.. the food changed but a least the pastries tasted good
Was ok. The facturas were good, not great. The lady was not so friendly that helped us.
Eggwhite omelette came to the table out of fridge, it was cold. Raw tomato and onion placed inside. Waiter forgot my fries. Hot tea came with half full cup of hot water and a small pot half full hot water on the side. When asked for more hot water they asked for additional extra payment for hot water.
Vinimos a desayunar un Sábado y pedimos 1 medialuna con jamón y queso caliente, otra con huevo y queso.. y un sandwich con huevos, queso y jamón + 2 cafés con leche y un juego. El jugo exprimido carísimo! 6,5usd.
Their pies are horrible. They look old. I ordered a strawberry pie, and the strawberries were all old and sour. The crust was all soggy, you could tell it had been sitting in the fridge for several days. This is the second time I’ve had cakes from there, and it’s the second time I’ve been disappointed. I’m definitely not coming back.
Love this bakery coming here for years, when I got to the counter I said hello but some Cuban lady didn’t want to take my order until I said good morning and when I got what I ordered it was clearly stale and rock solid. Absolute disappointment
Today was my first time visiting this place with a group of cycling buddies. It took over 15 minutes to get the only one item that I've ordered: An American coffee. I had to inquire several times about when my coffee was going to be ready. By the time I finally got my coffee, the cycling group was ready to leave. I definitely will not go back to that place. Super disappointed
I ordered delivery from here and had a really unacceptable experience. The cheesecake I received had visible mold on it. That’s not just disappointing, it’s a serious food-safety issue.
👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 I had to wait in line for 23 minutes just to place my order because the staff kept prioritizing regular customers or acquaintances, ignoring those already waiting
We were very disappointed with the service in this place. First, we waited for 5 minutes to be acknowledged. Then we were told to wait, because the woman behind the register was washing cups! She was quite rude. Then, we waited for another 5 minutes to order (we were the only ones waiting to order in the whole restaurant). They did not want to give us the empanadas immediately, which we wanted to start with while waiting for our omelettes, we were told to wait! After we ate, we went to the outside tables with our coffee and we were told no cups outside. No service outside, because the waiter was only for inside. On top of this they charge a service fee for the order, even though we order our food at the register. Very disappointed. Out of 4 omelettes, two were cold. They also include service charge for a place where you order your food at the righter! Not going back to this place.
The staff was very rude, they charged me $13 for 2 small drip coffees with ice, not even an spresso or a cold brew , just filtered coffee from a thermos. Itold them must be an error , besides, the menu doesn’t show that price, they said it was because of the splash of almond milk, “ you know how spensive is this” ? I’m Argentinian living in this country and I felt robbed. Don’t go there.
I need to make a review of this experience I had with my wife today 09/03/2022. I'm very disappointed with the overcharged prices we had for this breakfast. First, i will say that we are customers for around 20 years, that said, means we never had a complain before, but today was different, i felt that this was unfair, and i will describe why. We got 2 cafe con leche and we requested to be strong, that means they added X2 espresso shots for each cup? My coffee was not even dark, where the 2 shots were? Then, they charged $1 for toasting the sandwiches de miga? What the heck?! And finally, they charged a Resort tax? For real???!!! And this is how you treat your customers? What's next? Charging to use the toilet? The service is good, but the prices and the extra charges are outrageous!!!
I went there for 1 capuccino 2 american coffes and 2 pastry to take out I was surprised for the cost 32.00 dollars simple cafeteria Cofees was could and over price . Will never go there any more . Terrible.
I’m confused why this place gets such good reviews. I’ve heard it’s been around for years and is famous but it’s pretty terrible! If I could give negative -⭐️ for service I would. The first time I went there my friend and I left because the cashier decided her paperwork was more important than taking our order after she helped the previous patron. She literally did not speak at all and shuffled her paperwork right in front of us! The next time I went the young guy was nice enough, but food was marginal at best! I got the double chocolate cake which looked spectacular! The cake had a weird texture and the icing was flavorless. The only taste I could decipher was raw egg. I have no idea how much I paid for it as I wasn’t shown anything and just prompted to tap my card and leave a tip. Save your money and time as this is typical Miami service with no sense of urgency at all! Only go there if you’re on a diet and want to look at beautiful cake. You won’t be served so it’s totally safe!
Egg sandwiches take forever and are served cold. Portions are small too.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant and I would advise potential diners to proceed with caution. During my visit, there was a concerning issue with the payment process. The staff claimed that my transaction wasn't successful, despite it being reflected on my debit card. It seemed as though there was an intentional effort to charge me twice. When I raised the issue with the manager, her solution was for me to pay again and then sort it out with my bank. This approach was both inconvenient and frustrating. Additionally, diners should be aware of an automatic service charge that is added to the bill, which feels misleading. Overall, this experience left me feeling quite uneasy, and I would recommend not to go this is a scam.
I’m giving a 1 star because I felt ripped off yet again in Miami at another restaurant that expects customers to finance their employees with undeserved mandatory tips disguised as service charge. Why am I paying for 18% service charge for food that I had to stand in line and come up to the register to order? I was also charged a tip for a $21 dollar pasty that was packed to go! After I proceeded to wait for a table, (another service that is not provided as it is in real restaurants where you are served and deservedly so pay a tip) I had to wait 20 mins for them to warm the croissant that I’ve ordered and when they kept on making me wait, I decided it was about time and got up and got my own croissant, so I guess I should have to be partially reimbursed for the tip. The only service I was forced to pay tip for, I had to do it myself! There really is a shortage of willing workers in this city, and this nonsensical habit of charging people for an additional service fee when they are getting their own food it’s out of hand! Pay your workers a decent salary and stop ripping customers off!
I got beef empanadas, flan and milk cake from this place. They were all horrible. The flan texture was dense and very unoriginal
I bought today 3 containers with 4 sandwiches de miga each. One tuna and cheese one egg and cheese an one tomato and cheese. Total 12 sandwiches. They were dry and empty. Nothing inside They supposed to be with more filling. Really disappointed. Never again.
Came in to buy bread and the person behind the counter was SO rude. She was not patient with us. She immediately wanted us to tell her how many pieces of bread we were going to buy. It was our first time visiting an Argentinian bakery and we were so excited but if that is how they are then that is sad. I won’t be back.
Took my order without listening of course, gave us the wrong food, then tipped themselves ahead of time on the “service fee” then tried to charge me more to get the correct food, that they messed up, biggest scam we have found in north beach so far! That’s hard to do! Avoid this trap! Always nice to see wagies though we need bots like this to serve us, but they should at least attempt to get it right :( Hey over cooked my steak fully well done, they are on their second attempt to even make a steak 😂😂😂
Never order the steak here. They auto charge service fee ahead of time leaving you no opportunity to tip less for shitty service.
Lackluster food and dodgy pricing. They have two different menus with two different prices for the same items. They said one’s old and one is new, why even have it out if it’s old and outdated? Never been to cafe where they sneak in a mandatory service charge on your receipt without letting you know, it made up almost 15% of my total amount. About 8-9 employees behind the counter and nobody will attend/look at you unless you say anything so service is also pretty lame. Person who attended me was coughing over our food while putting it on the plate. Then you have to wait for them to take food to your table and that alone took around 10 minutes to be served already made food and a cappuccino while the place is empty. Watered down cappuccino and old/dry cake with tasteless filling. Would only recommend the flan, but each plate is around $6 (there are no prices listed anywhere until you look at the receipt and do mental math) so it’s definitely on the pricier side for what you’re getting. Would not recommend.
We stayed inside the place with my mother for 40 minutes. It was our first time visiting because the café caught our attention. There were two employees talking to each other, and no one ever explained to us where to order or pay. They simply ignored us (meaning anyone can walk in and sit down and nothing will happen—no one will explain anything). They seem to expect customers to serve themselves. In the end, we went to Manolo’s, which is two blocks away, and there we had excellent food and the best service. The food here might be good, however, the service is very disappointing. It’s a shame to have such a beautiful café with such poor employees. I want to clarify that the café only had about 5 tables occupied, it was not full, and we were still ignored. Maybe the employees wanted to close before 9:00 PM? As a business owner, I strongly recommend the owners pay close attention to this. I went on 12/22 from 7:00 PM until 7:40 PM 😂
Terrible experience in this restaurant. We usually go to Manolo’s but decided to give it a try to this place. Big mistake. Food was below expectations, we ordered choripan $14.25, just a small piece of baguette with chorizo, entrants steak sandwich $17.99, meat was extremely hard. Milanesa sandwich $15.70 bread was extremely crumbly, the milanesa was chewy. We ordered our food at 3:50 pm and the food arrived at 4.20 pm missing the milanesa sandwich that took another good 10 minutes to arrive. We spend around 90 dollars and the experience was not good. I will not come back to this place. I cannot speak about the empanadas or any other food, maybe that is good, but everything that I ordered was not worth the price do not even to talk about the service, it was too slow.
