What a surprise!!!!!. In the heart of Kendall, it is this amazing, unique, wonderful little Italian restaurant where the tastes of the boot peninsula mix with the heat and madness of this city. The food is totally out of this world. Tasteful, ardente, accompanied with one of the best customer service I've ever experienced by our server Iredys. 👏 and the prices are very affordable. I was so amazed by this spot that I went back two days in a row. Check them out and let me know what you think. 1. CALAMARI FRITI 9/10 - This fried squid is served with marinara sauce and cooked to perfection. It has that perfect crunch and is well seasoned, but not overly satly. 2. MOZZARELLA  CAPRESE with PROSCIUTTO 8/10 - This mozzarella, fresh tomates, basil, prosciutto, balsamic vineand italian oil dish is full of flavor and are very tasty together. 3. CHICKEN MARSALA 10/10 - This chicken breast is sautéed with mushrooms and finished in a dry marsala wine. This main entrée is very impressive. Just with the first bite, I knew I would come back to this restaurant. 4. CHICKEN PARMIGIANA */10 - This chicken breast is breaded and then topped with sauce and mozzarella. My friend had this dish, so I didn't taste it, but he mentioned it was good. Plus, it seriously looks amazing! I'll try it next time. 5. MEAT LOVER PIZZA 10/10 – This chef recommended that pizza has tomatoe sauce, mozzarella, sausages, pepperoni, ground beef, bacon, and ham. This is certainly one of the best pizza I've ever had. If you don't get anything else from this place please please come just to try this pizza!!! 6. LIMONCELLO 10/10 - This is a Limoncello cake with Limoncello ice cream. My favorite cake and flavor is lemon, so this is certainly at 10 out of 10 for me. I will say the chocolate sauce was unnecessary, but everything else was perfect. 7. TIRAMISU */10 - This is another dish I didn't order, but my friend did. Judging by the way it looked, I'm assuming it was really good. EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS 🍷 Went here for an early dinner. Started with garlic rolls and some Chardonnay. Our server was quick, kind and attentive. She was very sweet to our service dog too. The atmosphere was charming and the food was excellent! I had meat ravioli with Alfredo sauce. Very creamy and perfectly cooked. I love that you can pick your pasta and your sauce. Looking forward to coming back and mixing up some thing different. My friend had the veal marsala. Tender veal with tasty sauce. I’d like to start by giving a special thanks to our FAVORITE server Mairelis!!! Truly all the servers at Di Papas are wonderful and extremely kind. We’ve become regulars at this place and Mairelis always remembers our order. She does a wonderful job at recommending dishes and explaining the menu.The food is always hot and fresh and EXTREMELY DELICIOUS!!!! I cannot say enough good things about Di Papas. The portions are huge and everything we’ve tried has been 10/10. Service is great and the food comes out quick. They have an incredible dessert selection too!! Great food, lousy service. Worst call in delivery system ever. If you go through Uber Eats it ends up being the Di Papas delivery guy anyway at a higher price. But try to call. Just try. You will be put on HD for 10 to 15 minutes, and then they will hang up. So it is impossible to order with them directly. And that sucks. Lots of great Italian out there, so I give up I'm eating elsewhere. Learn how to answer phones and take orders that way

Grace made our experience exceptional. She was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the Chicken Francese, and it was fantastic—the chicken was perfectly cooked, and the lemon, butter, and white wine sauce was divine. Thank you.

Best garlic bread/rolls of my entire life. I went into the restaurant and ordered just garlic rolls to go. When I went to pay, I was shocked when I saw the price. $10 for 6 pieces of garlic bread. I was regretting buying them. Once I got them, I opened the bag to look at them and I knew I was in for a treat. The smell of fresh garlic, the warmth, the visual appeal, it all looked so good. I then started to think that maybe I did get my money's worth. Once I finally found somewhere to enjoy my garlic bread, boy did I enjoy it. Every bite filled with warm dense bread with crispy bottoms and enough garlic to kill dracula in every bite. It was perfect. Will be coming back.

The food was delicious. I had the fungi pasta and it was outrageous! My husband had the seafood pasta and it was great! Iredys served us and she was so nice and attentive. It's our neighborhood italian joint and we hadn't been here for years, glad we stopped back in! We will be back.

This is another one of our favorite Italian restaurants when on the 874 to Kendall exit. Extensive menu, reasonably priced, classic atmosphere & delicious cuisine.

This was our first try. Amazing experience with Tomas, our server. He recommends the dishes and we wasn't disappointed at all. Quality food against prices are well balanced, and definitely we recomend this family place.

Great service for lunch. Great lunch selections on the menu. Salad was ok. However, the chicken parmesan with spaghetti was fantastic! Very flavorful, nice portion size, sauce was authentic. Definitely visit and give them a try. I will visit again when back in Miami.

We went to visit on a whim after a long day and holy cannoli was it fantastic. The mussels with the white wine sauce was by far my favorite. Gorganzola Tortellini: everyone at the table loved it Chicken parm: fantastic marinara and tomato sauce! Pasta was cooked to perfection. Fungi Pasta: creamy and decadent. Grace, our server was very welcoming, knew the menu well, and treated us like family. I already booked my next reservation. Thank you Grace!

Nice casual spot for Italian food. The inside has a nice, small Italian restaurant vibe. Great for a weeknight date or for takeout! Felt like getting something different last time and ordered the pasta rústica (I wouldn’t order it again) The chicken parm by brother ordered looked much tastier.

Hole in the wall. Good food and nice atmosphere. The stuffed gnocchi was delicious. The regular gnocchi with meat sauce, not so good. The dressing on their house salad was really good! It's creamy with garlic and it tastes like no other dressing I've ever had.

Food was very tasty but it did have a tad of Hispanic seasoning behind the flavor. That was for their meetballs. The meat sauce was amazing! The garlic rolls are to die for. But again with the meatballs, it tasted like it was seasoned with Goya complete seasoning Which is not a negative, it was delicious and I eat it all the time. But if you are looking for 100% authentic Italian flavor, you might be dissapointed if you are an elitist. Service was okay just upset that staff charged us $7 for water when we had asked for regular water. They “assumed” we meant non-sparkling bottled water when we were simply asking for tap water. I feel like that was done on purpose to up charge the customer

This was second time to have lunch here. My first experience wasn’t good but I decided to give it another try. My first time here I ordered chicken Parmesan. Unfortunately the chicken was pounded very thin and was not easy to eat, and the sauce was over Seasoned; very salty. The second time I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and again the sauce was over seasoned very salty, and the meatballs were only ok. To me they were not fresh tasting and very breaded. They bought us warm bread with butter no garlic bread. And for lunch it was very expensive. They do not have lunch specials. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the service was good. They add an additional charge if you pay by credit card that they don’t tell you. Parking can be a challenge. This is a very small strip mall with not a lot of parking spaces. Unfortunately, with my second bad experience, I will not return.

The calamari came with lime instead of lemon.. (I'm picky about these things lol) and it needed more flavor... although I have to say that the texture was good. The mussels didn't come with bread and they lacked flavor. The lasagna didn't have enough meat or cheese and it seemed a little over cooked. The chicken piccata was actually pretty good, so no complaints there. The service was good and the restaurant is pretty clean. Didn't take pictures of everything but I'm attaching a few.

It is located in the shopping center which will throw you off. Walking in it was very nice it had Italian music playing in the background very nice dining experience. we were the first ones there so that made it a little bit better as well due to Covid. Our server was Grace and she was nice. She bought out the salad (mostly lettuce) and one saucer of ranch we have to ask for more (it was 3 guest) the bread was Good. I ordered the chicken marsala and I’m so happy that I chose this option because the sauce was really good and the season was great I was very pleased with the meat portion as well. The other party on the other hand received a different experience in their food he ordered the shrimp scampi and it was a dry as a well that has never been filled Let’s just say if you like dry noodles with amazing sautéed shrimp definitely order that but if you don’t like dry noodles don’t order that. The other guest with me received the salmon with the lemon sauce that was very overwhelming and they put the lemon sauce in the noodles so if you do decide to get that please tell them to keep the sauce out of your noodles overall experience was OK nice place to just grab a bite it did meet expectations consider that it was in the shopping center.

They didn’t offer bread. They didn’t bring the orders at the same time to the table. The dish the brought first was not hot enough. Kind of cold. The bread I was supposed to eat with my food came first, it was so tiny. No fresh Parmesan. Servers don’t know the dishes ingredients like if their pesto had pine nuts. My Pinot Grigio was so good. Food may be a bit overpriced.

They didn’t offer bread. They didn’t bring the orders at the same time to the table. The dish the brought first was not hot enough. Kind of cold. The bread I was supposed to eat with my food came first, it was so tiny. No fresh Parmesan. Servers don’t know the dishes ingredients like if their pesto had pine nuts. My Pinot Grigio was so good. Food may be a bit overpriced.

I asked for shrimp scampi and it was spicy and had alot of garlic. The noodles were dry. The manager was very nice and put some sauce but it didn't do much of a difference. This was my first time and I was disappointed.

This is an Okay Italian cuisine spot. They try. Veal parm was good. Wife said chix marsala was good. Our sautéed mushrooms where not fresh. They used new mushrooms and now under cooked in old batch. For as much as they charge for those, they should be fresh every time. My biggest gripe is the waiter. He really is bad. Filled glasses with water and never asked if we wanted any other drink. He clearly does not speak english other than "its okay" when its clearly not when your ordering. Just confusing 😕 to order what you want.

Nothing outstanding about the food. Creme broule desert was abysmal.

$42.40 for a sprite and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. I gotta say it was not worth the price. The pasta had an overwhelming taste of garlic a miniscule amount of chicken and the portion to price and quality ratio was not justified. I really do not like leaving reviews that can hurt a business but it's not fair to pay so much and not get your money's worth. I was expecting a delicious meal but got a meal that taste like TV dinner pasta .

Charge extra for another roll. 4% credit card charge. 9.00 for 6 garlic rolls. Unfriendly manager

The fettuccine alfredo was delicious, So was the eggplant parmesan. The chicken parmesan was burnt and the salmon was so so. The tiramisu was beautiful, but it barely had any taste and was kind of dry. Needless to say I wouldn't go back!

Di Papas use to make a great pizza. Over the past year or two the taste of the pizza has declines. Pizza oftentimes comes cold and the cheese is burnt. Also not sauci anymore.. almost like they are trying to save on sauce and cheese. Also the pizza takes about 90 minutes to arrive.

This place was very disappointing. The pizza was soggy and had virtually no sauce on it. Service was slow and our waitress had an attitude, trying to get us to order more the entire time just to run up the bill. Our waitress even talked us out of the personal sized pizzas that we wanted, saying they were tiny. We ended up ordering medium sized pizzas which were too big (we each had half left over). We asked for service in English and the waitress refused to comply although she spoke perfect English. Not coming back.

Stay away from this “Italian Restaurant” to me is just another Cuban operated business under the pretense of being “Italian” and yes I am Cuban but I am Real. The pizza is far less than mediocre, the bread and texture is not consistent, I order three different types of Pizza, pepperoni, margarita and cheese and they were all had big flops on the texture, extremely soft and the undercarrier was not cooked properly, very greasy. Prices were high totally not worth the quality of the food items they serve. I went one time and won’t visit again. This is not in my opinion an Italian restaurant.

The worst meatballs sub ever very salty and the salsa tastes like very bad quality ingredients bread was soft but burn and a long wait with an empty restaurant I ordered from the pick up window thank goodness I didn’t eat inside

Well I ordered a medium pizza and a Caesar salad and paid $39 dollars, way to much for this food, won’t go back.

Service here is horrible.!!! They don’t bring the bread and when they do is hard, old and burned. Cooks chitchatting in the kitchen while you’re waiting for your food. The food is not really Italian as they claim. Parking is horrendous. Very low class. There are plenty more real Italian restaurants that you can go to. Experience was horrible!!! Stay away from here!!!!!

I'm giving one star so that I can express my discomfort and disgust with this restaurant. Ordered over an hour ago and I had to get into my car to go pick up my pizza. Mind you they are located within 800 feet from my house. I just picked up a cold pizza after several phone calls which by the way they hung up on me twice telling me they were calling the driver when the pizza was just sitting in their restaurant the entire time. Never again will I call this place even if they are the only ones left selling pizza.

To be completely honest this place sales one of the worst pizzas we ever had. This place has an excellent location but have a really poor and disgusting pizza. Questo non è un vero ristorante italiano.

I went here the other day and everything was going well till the the time to pay came I was with 2 other people and the lady in charge of our table was demanding I pay 18% tip even though tipping is optional for groups of 5 or less as stated on the receipt, I was going to tip regardless but not as much as 18% which was $20, as I was leaving the lady saw I didn’t leave 18% tip as she was demanding, she confronted me and questioned me rudely on why I didn’t leave what she wanted I explained to her that it was only a mandatory 18% tip if it was groups of 6 or more after explaining she shrugged it off and just told me to leave knowing that I was right and couldn’t get her away with her little scam as I continued to walk to the door I overheard her telling a coworker in a bad mocking way about the fact I did not leave the $20 that was not mandatory. Not everyone has the money to tip that much even though the tipping was optional because we were a group of 3. I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET DISCRIMINATED OR GET SCAMMED AND MANIPULATED

Honestly is not worth it. It was my bday and I was in the mood for Italian food, a good pasta dinner . The quality of the dishes is not what you expected. The amount of pasta yes is a lot but we pay over $100 for 3 dishes and 4 sodas oh and a appetizer. For that I could go to Olive Garden and it would it saved me the drive to Kendall. Not my favorite Restaurant Honestly.

I will NEVER return or order from this restaurant again. I made my order through Uber eats. I called multiple times (over 3 times) to ask if they received my order and when my order would arrive. Here I was 2 and half hours later STILL waiting for my order. I called the restaurant and spoke to. I asked her to speak to a manager and she denied getting me to a manager and would just place me on hold for extended amounts of time. She was very unprofessional and said that the delivery man had been contacting me when they never did. Finally I was able to speak to Ramon which said was the manager and he had no answer as to where my order was. He said he would check what was going on and call me back. At this point I had to order food from another restaurant. I received my order from the other restaurant and 10 min later I have a delivery person at my door from Di palpas with the order I had made almost 3 hours before. The presentation of the food was horrible! The fettuccini Alfredo had no Alfredo sauce on on the bottom of the container. The noodles were tasteless and hard. The salad was mostly just lettuce with half of a tomato slice. I can continue about how horrible this places food and service is but I think I have described enough! Never ever again!!!!

Di Papa's used to be the best restaurant in my neighborhood, when it was ran by the original owners; an Argentinian and a Uruguayan. The pasta and the sauce was done in house. You could tell the difference. Now is just a regular italian restaurant (no run by italians). Most of the food comes frozen. I can tell the difference. The prices are outrageous for the quality of food you get. My friend dines there just because is close to his home and he can't drive. He is always complaining about the quality of the food and the ridiculous prices. I was there a couple of years ago. I took an Italian friend and I was really embarrassed when he told me: is this what they call "Italian Food"? Needless to say; I didn't stepped in there ever!! So I don't know who is given this restaurant good reviews, because I will not!!

First off the prices for the pasta are ridiculous 18.99 for a small size portion of baked ziti . Got also the stuffed shells and for 3 only over charged for a small dish . The waitress asking no more than 5 times am I finished am I finished . Couldn’t speak any English whatsoever so anything I asked her it was not understood at all. Spent over 100 on small portions that were overrated. So disappointing.

Lasagne was not very good, tasted like out of a can. They need to stand out, with so much restaurant competition in the area, at least it should come with a little garlic bread or rolls. I was told $9.00 for 6 garlic rolls ?
