I went to Gianni's for lunch. I recommend a reservation. You won't get offered the best tables, even if they are vacant, and they tell you they are for hotel guests. They did move me to a corner close to the beautiful pool. The mansion is absolutely beautiful. The mosaic tile in the pool is colorful and unique. Lots of plants and greenery. It's very charming and beautifully decorated. The lunch was good. I left the burrata salad and asked for some lemon vinaigrette on the side. It was a delicious lunch. Know that they charged me a $7.50 service charge, so lunch ended up costing me more than expected. I guess this service charge is a thing in Miami Beach. I went there for the experience and the atmosphere, and of course for the history. The service was good. I went around opening time when it wasn't so busy. Nearly every table was filled by the time I left. It is a popular place. The bread was absolutely delicious. So good. No butter, but I dipped it in olive oil with salt and pepper. It was worth the experience. Lunch was about $60/ person with fees and gratuity.

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and welcoming, striking the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. What truly set the evening apart was the service. Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, treating us like family rather than just guests. That level of genuine hospitality makes all the difference. Overall, a memorable experience and a place I would absolutely recommend for both special occasions and an elevated night out.

What a place! Usually when you visit this kind of restaurants you expect a nice view and a good attention but Giannis was beyond my expectations. We tried the Cacio e Pepe, the ravioli, the salmon and everything was so savory and good portioned. My recommendation is to also try the carpaccio 🤌🏻 (chef kiss) and the Passion in the Mansion cocktail 🍸totally worth it. And I should mention, the place is beautiful and the team is fantastic! All the waiters were so attentive and they brought us a decorated mille feuille cake for our friend’s birthday making our dinner even more special! Hope we get back soon to try more food and cocktails! ⭐️👏🏼

It took me too long to get to this restaurant over the years I’ve been wanting to go finally made it. We were in Miami for a show at the colony theater so we decided to go unfortunately, I did not have reservations, which I highly recommend but lucky for us. We sat at the bar and couldn’t have been nicer. The bartenders all were accommodating, helpful, and we still had the atmosphere of the beautiful pool. We had the lunch $39.95 great value. There was four of us. I had the Bronzino the chicken entrée. We all enjoyed every morsel of those entrées. We also had an appetizer I had the artichoke salad. We had the eggplant Parmesan and we had the house salad again no complaints. Finally, we had the dessert. The mango sorbet was delicious as was the brownie as the fresh fruit. We were really happy customers and happy that we came there next time I’m planning to make reservations. I didn’t because I wasn’t sure how long the drive would take, but I wouldn’t go to this restaurant without reservations unless you wanna eat at the bar which is no Problem

Gianni's is a unique and must visit restaurant in Miami, it gets a huge boost by being in the former Versace Mansion. The architecture, design and history alone are worth a visit. Add to that a great culinary experience, and great service. It is without a doubt a recommended spot for any tourist and locals. I particularly enjoyed the Sea bass and the Black truffle risotto, which was perfectly al dente, and it is probably the best I have tried in town. Not everything in the menu is just as stunning, but the quality is definitely there! Expect a traditional service with well trained staff, and great management too! Be aware if you dine at the main room by the pool in the summer it can be extremely humid and hot!

A beautiful restaurant located in the former Versace mansion on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach. One of the few ways to get into the former Versace mansion if you want to see it. The food was really good and way exceeded my expectations for a tourist location. Service was excellent, as to be expected in a high end restaurant. The decor and location is beautiful, especially if you get seated by the pool. It is a bit pricey, but worth the experience. Parking can be an adventure on Miami Beach, but not too bad in the evenings.

It was absolutely beautiful and our waiter, Alfonso, was nothing short of accommodating, understanding, very knowledgeable in the menu and helped us with our selections of food and drinks. The food was impeccably seasoned. The drinks were well balanced, and very tasty. 🍷 I had an amazing birthday and would definitely recommend others to go as well as my willingness to go again and bring more persons to experience the beautiful ambience and aura it represents. They do have a dress code that they text you about when you make reservations, but I will say if you were stilettos on the day of your reservation, the pebbles on the floor kinda make it a little difficult to walk, let alone quickly, so I would say a nice wedge heel would do.

Originally scheduled dinner, but made and impromptu switch to the Prix Fixe lunch menu following our Art Deco tour guide’s suggestion. The location and atmosphere are stunning - such an incredible place for lunch. The pool is gorgeous and the people watching was incredible. We each had the $39.95 lunch - I had the artichoke and arugula salad and the chicken Milanese. Both were delicious. My other half had the house salad and the lobster spaghetti (which had an $18 upcharge,) which he loved as well. The service was outstanding and we weren’t at all rushed through our meal. Our waiter was attentive, kind, and made excellent suggestions. Definitely make it a point to stop in as it’s a wonderful experience and we enjoyed the lunch menu tremendously.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visiting the Versace Mansion is one of the most surreal experiences in South Beach. Walking inside feels like stepping into a piece of fashion and Miami history. The architecture, the gold details, and the famous mosaic pool with the Medusa design are absolutely stunning. Every corner of the property feels luxurious and artistic, which makes sense considering it was once the home of Gianni Versace himself. The courtyard where the restaurant is located is especially incredible. Dining there feels like being inside a historic Mediterranean palace right in the middle of Ocean Drive. Even if you’re just visiting to see the architecture and history, this place is one of the most iconic landmarks in Miami Beach. ✨ Cyborg Tip: Look closely at the pool — the tiles are made with thousands of pieces of Italian mosaic and even gold accents. — Chris Raborg The Cyborg Project 🤖🌴✨

We had a fabulous lunch at Gianni’s inside the iconic Versace Mansion, an experience as luxurious as it is memorable. The lunch menu was reasonably priced for the exceptional quality of the meal. The lobster pasta was absolutely delicious, the cocktails were perfectly crafted, and the dessert was the perfect sweet finish. Walking through the ornate gates of the mansion felt surreal, opening up to the elegant courtyard where the restaurant sits beside Versace’s famous gold-plated mosaic swimming pool. The atmosphere is simply incredible!! glamorous, historic, and uniquely Miami. A must-do dining experience for anyone visiting South Beach. 🌴✨

Our server Laura was amazing. Food was great. We had the 4 cheese pizza with truffle, filet mignon, spaghetti with lobster and salmon. Everything was delicious. Only brandish is that the cafe machine was down and we couldn’t have our espresso. Otherwise it would have been perfect.

This was our first stop in miami beach and after reading the negative reviews we were alittle skeptical....But iam more than excited to say pay no attention to tbose negative reviews... this place was amazing from the service, vibe and last but not least the food, we tried the lunch menú and we were not disappointedone bit. First lets talk about the portions! More than enough to get full drinks not only looked amazing but tasted it as well and tbe service was friendly and attentive. I really liked the fact that u were free to walk around and take pictures while ur eating it made things seem fun! So in my opinión 10 out of 10!

One of a kind!! The mansion itself is absolutely incredible and the food. Wow! Most surprising is the price point. We were expecting a $600 bill and when it came out was half that. Well done Giannis. Came for lunch the next day. 3 delicious courses for $40, huge portions. We will be back very soon!!

Famous for architecture, vibes, history and the atmosphere...this place was on our list of must visit on Ocean Drive. We opted for 3 course lunch option. I prefer chicken and vegetarian dishes so didn't have many options . Service was good and prompt. Numerous Sitting areas both inside and outside. U definitely need reservation for this place. One point to note ...they include tips in the bill so do look out for that .dessert was disappointing.

A beautiful and memorable dining experience. The setting is absolutely stunning and full of character. For the price, this restaurant is actually very reasonable given the location and overall experience. The food was excellent — the Greek salad was one of the best I’ve ever had, incredibly fresh and well balanced. The scampi were sensational, perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the meat dishes were very satisfying. The service truly stood out: the Italian Deniele waiters was professional, attentive, and added warmth and authenticity to the evening. The wine selection was very good and well suited to the menu. Overall, a fantastic combination of atmosphere, quality food, great service, and solid value. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous surroundings covering every inch Gianni’s, Ambiance abound! - thanks, in large part, to our waiter, Gabriel A.’s warm and genuinely generous spirit, & love for the place 🙏. The octopus carpaccio, fillet mignon (bloody) and Branzino were top notch and well accompanied with the Torresellai Prosecco rosé. (We’d’ve given 5 stars if fillet mignon came with some kind of accompagnement) Thank you for a memorable experience.

It’s the house of Gianni Versace, I mean, that’s all you want. At least that’s why I went. The services is fast and waiters are nice. The food could be a little bit bigger but it’s an experience itself. I went for lunch and they have a promo of a starter, main dish and a dessert for $50

An unforgettable evening at the Gianni Versace Mansion for dinner in South Beach Miami. Without question, the best plate of (lobster) spaghetti that I’ve ever had. The ambience on the poolside terrace at night was exquisite. The mosaic tile for the Grecian pool, marble statues and fountains was elegant. I would highly recommend this place for a special night to remember.

Visually stunning and rich with history -the setting alone is worth the visit. Dining here feels like stepping into a piece of art. Food was decent but let’s be honest, you’re mostly here for the iconic ambiance. Great for special occasions or bucket-list dining. Dress up and soak it all in.

A special experience in a special place that makes you feel like a special person! As soon as you enter the gates of the Versace Mansion it transports you to an exotic foreign place, where you are treated in a gracious manner and indulged with the finest luxuries one could ask for (even the bathrooms are worth mentioning for how nicely appointed they are and clean). Entering the poolside dining area is an enchanting voyage, and once you are seated you are able to take all the grandeur in. With expansive wine and cocktail options, you are sure to find the perfect pairing to your 5-star meal. There is no bad decision made when ordering at Gianni’s. This experience is cultivated to entice all your senses and take you to a near nirvana state. If you’re in Miami Beach, treat yourself and experience the specialness of Gianni’s!

Everything was amazing about our experience. Wait staff was very attentive and we had 2 lovely ladies taking care of us, a server and server assistant I believe. Both were very helpful and kind. Tiramisu was made in front of our table and delicious. Had some sort of passion fruit drink which was AMAZING. Steak was perfectly cooked. Roasted potatoes were perfect and truffle mashed potatoes very good as well. Do keep in mind it is pricy and should have a reservation, but definitely worth it. Would come back again and again.

We had a fantastic experience at Gianni’s (Versace Villa). We walked in before 7 p.m. without a reservation and were seated within five minutes. We weren’t in the main area, which turned out to be perfect—quieter, elegant, and with a lovely atmosphere. Our waitress, Laura, was exceptional. Her food and cocktail recommendations were spot on, and the service was above and beyond. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Elegant, fun, and memorable. Highly recommend!

The food was good and the service was excellent—everyone was kind, attentive, and professional. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that really adds to the experience. I recommend the lunch menu which is $40 per adult and it comes with a side, entree, and dessert. They also offer a kid's plate for $15. The drinks are not included and the are no refills. The check will definitely be on the expensive side, but if you’re willing to splurge a little, it’s definitely worth it for a special occasion.

Visiting the Versace Mansion with my friends was a spectacular experience! We were running late for our reservation, but the ladies at the entrance were incredibly kind and helped us reschedule for the next available time slot — such great service! The venue is absolutely stunning, perfect for taking photos. Every detail of the aesthetic is beautifully maintained, and even the dishes match the overall vibe of the place. From the appetizers to the main course and desserts, everything was top-notch. Honestly, I couldn’t even recommend just one dish because everything we tried was a 10/10. A special shoutout to Kevin, our waiter — he was amazing! Super attentive and friendly, just like the rest of the staff. Everyone made sure we had a great time. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves!

This is a great place to eat. We went to lunch and got a salad, entree, and desert for only $40. Also, the food was delicious. We made reservations and were able to get in right away. Make sure everyone in your party is there because you cannot be seated until they are. Our waiter was attentive as well as made things run smoothly. I would definitely come back here again.

Dining at Gianni’s isn’t just dinner — it’s a full-on sensory experience. From the moment you step past the iconic gates on Ocean Drive, you feel like you’re walking into a living postcard. The glow of the chandeliers, the intricate mosaic floors, and the open courtyard all whisper luxury, history, and a touch of drama. Sitting under the night sky with soft music in the background, you can almost feel Gianni Versace’s presence watching over the space. The food matches the setting — striking, intentional, and unapologetically indulgent. The whole Branzino, grilled to perfection, stole the show. Its skin was crisp but not dry, revealing buttery, flaky fish inside that melted on the tongue. The capers and lemon gave it a pop of brightness, while the bed of arugula added a fresh peppery contrast. Paired with a side of roasted potatoes (golden, crisp on the outside, tender inside) and perfectly blanched green beans and carrots, it felt like a dish that respected both flavor and simplicity. Pasta lovers would be remiss not to try their handmade spaghetti. The portion was elegant, not overwhelming, with a silky coating of sauce that clung to each strand. It had that perfect al dente bite that can only come from fresh pasta. For cocktails, the Lychee Martini was an absolute standout — lightly floral, not too sweet, and served with a flourish of fresh lychees and an orchid that made it photo-worthy. And then came dessert — which is where Gianni’s really flexes. The lemon meringue arrived like a piece of edible art, crowned with gold flakes and edible flowers. Light, airy, and perfectly torched, it was just tart enough to cut through the richness of dinner. For chocolate lovers, their decadent chocolate tower is a must — layered with rich mousse and crunchy textures, it was as dramatic as the mansion itself. Service was warm but not rushed, which lets you soak up the atmosphere. This isn’t the place for a quick bite — this is where you come to linger, to celebrate, to make a night of it. Final Thoughts: Gianni’s is more than a restaurant — it’s a Miami institution where history, fashion, and food come together. Come hungry, come curious, and come dressed like you’re ready to be seen. This is the kind of meal that lives rent-free in your memory long after the last bite.

What a fantastic way to celebrate our honeymoon. It was the one place that we wanted to go to and celebrate. The drinks were some of best that we've ever had! 24k margarita. What a magical and unique place. It certainly did not disappoint. My husband made reservations and our table was right by the pool. The food was outstanding. Everything about this place is magic and I can’t wait to go back.

Visiting Ocean Beach and came for dinner. Vibrant and charming atmosphere, gorgeous decor, attentive service. Wonderful wine recommendation. We had pan Seared Sea Scallop served with truffle sauce and truffle potato puree finished with Key Lime pie. It was amazing dance of flavors. Thank you for unforgettable experience.

Gianni's was the perfect place for our girls brunch. The staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was beautiful! The pool is gorgeous! And the music had me moving in my seat. I had the salmon and asparagus and it was delicious. And the Gianni's salad...superb! I really enjoyed every moment!

Lunching at the Gianni Versace Mansion felt like stepping straight into a fashion fantasy—every inch of the place is picture-perfect and dripping with old-school glamour. Truly one of the most stunning and Instagram-worthy spots in Miami. The service was Flawless. The team treated us like royalty without an ounce of pretension. And that three-course set lunch? A total 10/10—every bite was as fabulous as the setting. For the quality, vibe, and iconic location, the value is unbeatable. If you’re looking to sip, savor, and serve a little main-character energy, this is the lunch spot. I personally prefer lunch over dinner, great value !

Very nice place to dine. Went for lunch and they had great options. The branzino lunch portion was well made. The Caesar salad could have been a little better. Raspberry Sorbet for dessert was fantastic. I highly recommend the cacio e Pepe. Noodles are cooked to perfection and the flavor is amazing. Scenery out by the pool was great too. Vibes and music enhanced the meal. I Highly recommend dining here.

I've passed this 1000 times and can finally say I got to dine here. The decor is mindblowing. The atmosphere was beautiful. The service was impeccable- we told our waiter we had a few questions and he was very polite and made sure all questions were asked. We said we had 3 questions and only asked 2 and he made sure we were all set. The food was delicious as well - all handmade pastas. Unique drinks. Truly an icon to visit in Miami.

The iconic South Beach Versace Mansion provides a most theatrical backdrop to this fine dining experience. Dramatic, sophisticated & delicious. Menu is universal and good. Wait service(Igor) was professional & attentive. Unfortunately, getting seated took over 45 minutes with an advanced reservation. When I complained to the male host, I did not appreciate his comment that "if I dont' like the wait, I can eat elsewhere." Thank you Igor for balancing -out the rudeness with fine service.

I ate here on Christmas Day. I was dining alone but I had such a great experience. I had the octopus. The Oysters as appetisers and chicken for the main. Sat by the pool the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. I would say this is a must do restaurant when in Miami.

I had reservations only had to wait about ten minutes to be seated for dinner on a Saturday night. The ambiance and the aesthetic was top tier. Our waiter Fernando was amazing very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was delicious. But honestly for the price we pay to eat here I would think it would feel more exclusive rather than tables sitting on top of tables just so they can seat more patrons. A tad bit uncomfortable when you are literally an inch away from the table next to you.

Omg this place is amazing. Maybe the greatest atmosphere of any restaurant ( and I’ve been all over the world). I actually went in with low expectations for the food thinking it woukd be a tourist trap, but wrong! The food is freaking delicious!! Def def go here!

For my daughter’s 9th birthday, we had the most unforgettable lunch at the iconic Versace Mansion in Miami. The setting was absolutely stunning — from the intricate mosaic tiles to the sparkling gold details and the breathtaking pool in the courtyard, every corner felt like a work of art. The service was exceptional, and the food was just as impressive — beautifully presented and full of flavor. Our waiter was amazing, we had to rush out for another reservation but he went above and beyond for us. My daughter felt like royalty dining in such an elegant and historic place, surrounded by beauty and luxury. It was the perfect way to celebrate her special day, creating memories we’ll cherish forever

Love love Gianni's. The service is top tier. At first our server let us know it was hot so they placed us inside with the ac but we wanted the view so he got us a table outside and to the top 😁. I enjoyed the cocktails and the food was great.

The Miami Spice menu at Gianni’s was an excellent choice. We enjoyed delicious dishes in an iconic, historic setting at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere was glamorous yet friendly, making the experience both elegant and welcoming. The service was outstanding and truly unique—before finalizing the bill, they read it aloud and confirm your agreement, which adds a nice personal touch.

We'd passed by the Versace mansion many times, but this was our first meal and shame on us for waiting so long. Nice menu, extensive drink selection, fantastic service and the vibe is of course phenomenal. The fried shrimp and calamari is a great starter and the spinach & ricotta ravioli and special Thanksgiving turkey platter were both delish. Be sure to save room for dessert, the key lime pie flambe is a real treat. Augusto took outstanding care of us!

From the moment you walk in, the Gianni Versace Mansion feels like pure luxury ✨ The atmosphere is stunning, the service is warm and attentive, and the experience feels special from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were crafted to perfection — every detail thought out beautifully 🍽️🍸 And the dessert? Hands down the best in town. The perfect ending to an unforgettable night in Miami 🤍

My boyfriend and I made reservations for their 3 course brunch on October 6th and I was pleasantly surprised. The host was very welcoming and after a quick few pictures in the lobby we were seated. We had a real sweet and entertaining waitress who guided us through the courses and gave our table great service along with a cute birthday rendition. The atmosphere was calm and the vibes right before the brunch ended (not to crowded) was ideal. The food was great for the experience because I wasn't sure what to expect. We had the salmon carpaccio which was great and the 3 courses with the main entrees being lobster spaghetti and salmon. The margarita was really good so no complaints. It was a great experience considering all things and the fact that again, this is Miami and on the strip so yeah. I would go back for sure.

I recently enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Gianni’s, and it was exceptional from start to finish. My server recommended the Passion in the Mansion cocktail — an excellent choice that was perfectly balanced and refreshing. I started with the Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, and a great way to begin the meal. For my entrée, I ordered the ravioli, and it was absolutely delicious — beautifully prepared and presented with care. Every bite reflected quality and attention to detail. The ambiance inside the Mansion was stunning and truly elevated the dining experience. The elegant setting, paired with attentive and professional staff, made the entire visit memorable. If you’re looking for a combination of outstanding food, service, and atmosphere, Gianni’s is the perfect place. I’ll definitely be returning!

We’ve been to this restaurant more than once, and it was a pleasant surprise to see how much the food has improved compared to last year. The quality and flavors are noticeably better, and it’s clear the kitchen has really stepped up. The service overall is great, and the atmosphere is warm and enjoyable. One small suggestion: it would be nice if the hostesses and front desk staff at the entrance were a bit more welcoming. At times, it feels less like being greeted as a guest and more like interrupting someone, which slightly affects the first impression. A friendlier approach would make the experience even better. Overall, the restaurant has definitely improved, and we’re happy to keep coming back.

When making this reservation, I won’t pretend it was for the food — and I’m sure that’s the case for most people. Dining at Gianni’s is about the history, the atmosphere, and the overall experience, and in that sense, they truly delivered. The setting is iconic, and the service was attentive and polished throughout the evening. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I strongly believe that food and service go hand in hand. Unfortunately, the food itself did fall short for me, and it did leave a slight impression. That said, it didn’t take away from standout moments like the incredible tableside tiramisu, which was a highlight of the night. Our server, Rafael B., was excellent — confident, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. You could tell he genuinely knew what he was doing, which made the service feel seamless and professional. One small thing I wish had been handled better: I noted on the reservation that it was my birthday. I wasn’t expecting anything grand, but even a simple “happy birthday” from someone on the floor would have elevated the experience. Sometimes the idea of being a five-star establishment can overshadow those small, human touches that truly make guests feel special. Overall, dining here with my parents visiting from South Africa was a special highlight of our Miami trip.

Fantastic touristy place. Historical, too. Large dining room, lots of tables, & pounding techno music. It Is South Beach. Convenient valet parking. The beach is just across the street. Food is high quality for such a high volume eatery. The dining area is around a pool, but it's the pool for the hotel. That means sunbathers in their bikinis are on lounge chairs right next to the diners. Interesting mix. All in all an enjoyable experience.

This was a very interesting location. The place is exquisite. The service was excellent. The food was also very good. I had the pre fixe lunch lobster spaghetti and my wife had the filet mignon. The atmosphere was the issue. We were situated next to the pool. We thought that was great until all of the vane people that had to take multiple pictures of themselves. It was non stop and really annoying. I'd say give this place a try but don't sit by the pool.

Beautiful ambience especially if you're able to sit by the water/pool. I was worried that it's a tourist trap but i definitely enjoyed my cacio e pepe dish, though it is on the rich side and is made in a cheese wheel. Would eat it here again. Staff were very nice but busy; did make for a non-rushed lunch.

It is absolutely worth the visit to enjoy this amazing work of art that is the Versace Mansion in South Beach, Miami! Every intricate detail on the property is beautiful and is definitely an elevated experience. The oysters were fresh and delicious - a twist on the traditional way of serving. Other items such as the eggplant parmigiana and lamb chops were good not nothing to rave about. I recommend for the unique experience.

Stopped by while visiting Miami, the famous Versace Mansion. I have worn many shirts from this designer, and now I had the chance to visit his home. There's no really good parking unless you valet ($40) and just hop right out the car into the mansion. Upon arrival it's good to have reservations in advance or just walk in (may take longer for seating). I went on the weekend, so it was crowded but I got seated pretty quickly. You have the choice of sitting outside by the pool area or inside dining which wasn't offered to me but found out later and it was hot 🔥 although they had fans blowing, if the fan circulating was turning the other way your butt is in trouble 🥵. They had a lunch special (3) course meal about $40 ea. Comes with appetizer, main course and dessert. For appetizer I got the fried shrimp 👍. For main course Ichose the Salmon(no seasoning), but ended up being uncooked. So I chose the ravioli ( wasn't bad) if you like ricotta cheese and spinach (no meat)! Finally dessert, nothing to write home about. Your choice of raspberry (Sorbet), small chocolate brownie, and the other dish in the pic. The pool area is nice, but everyone (I mean everybody!) and their mother are trying to take photos by pool while you That's scene, that everyone wants to seeing the pic while dining. The food was okay, but it was about the experience for me. By the way, it's not Versace anymore! It's Gianni's At The Former Versace Mansion 🤷 go figure!

Oh my gosh! I can’t stop raving about our experience at Gianni's At The Former Versace Mansion! It was absolutely incredible, and I can’t recommend it enough! You have to book a reservation—this is one experience you simply can’t miss! They have an amazing lunch option for under $40 that includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert —such a fantastic deal! Plus, their outdoor seating is perfectly shaded , making it a delightful spot to relax. We loved every moment, from the delicious meal to the fantastic service and stunning atmosphere. Trust me, you’re going to want to check this place out!

Had an amazing meal here! The service I was the best I’ve had in the USA. Chris our server, was so good at answering our questions, filling our glasses, and getting us anything we need promptly, a real asset to your business:) Steak was cooked perfectly rare, potatoes were good and the scallops were the best!!! High value meal at $400 for 2, including a bottle of wine but well worth it as the food is very good overall and the service is excellent. 4* as we went to your cocktail lounge on exit for one drink but the bartenders there had no clue of the menu and spent time discussing what we asked for…. At such a high end establishment I expect the bartenders to understand what a Bombay gin and tonic is! We left at such a consfusion with ordering drinks…. But your food is amazing!!! Big thanks to Chris our server.

We dined here for dinner around 10:30 PM and had an overall fantastic experience. The ambiance is truly incredible, and being seated near the pool added a lovely element to our evening. I ordered the salmon, which was cooked to perfection and packed with great flavor. The lamb chops were well-prepared, though they could have benefited from a bit more seasoning. For our appetizer, we had shrimp, which was decent, but it could have been elevated with the addition of bread. We also indulged in a dessert—a chocolate ball that melted to reveal ice cream inside. It was delicious, although the ice cream had a unique consistency that stood out. Unfortunately, the poolside location had its drawbacks. Several guests were taking photos without consideration, and at one point, someone was nearly intruding on our table space. This lack of awareness detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience. I would have rated this place five stars if the guests had been more considerate and mindful of their surroundings. It's disappointing to see people become so focused on capturing moments for social media that they overlook the presence of others around them.

Valet was quick, easy and friendly. The staff quickly greeted us and sat us down. We had a reservation for 11am as soon as they opened. The restaurant was beautiful. They atmosphere overall was great. The food was tasty, I think it was worth the cost for the lunch option. My appetizer was hot as soon as it came out, the entree could’ve been hotter but still good, I really enjoyed the green beans. My dessert I chose fruit and my sister chose a strawberry tart, I wish I would’ve chose the tart! The service was good I did like our server but they have multiple staff working the floor with serving plates, refilling water, and taking plates off the table when you’re finished. We did have to wait a little bit on water once it got busy. I thought it was great timing in between bringing out our next dish.

Gianni’s is one of those places you go more for the vibe than the food—and the vibe is undeniably iconic. Dining beside the famous tiled pool in the courtyard of the Versace Mansion, surrounded by ornate ceilings and lavish decor, is a bucket-list kind of setting. If you’re going, try to sit in the main courtyard; the other rooms are nice but lack the same energy and atmosphere. That said, the experience leans a little more “high school prom with Instagram vibes” than elegant fine dining. It’s trendy and cool, sure—but also full of people more focused on photos than food. Service was decent, but with Miami’s standard 20% gratuity automatically added, it didn’t feel like the staff had much incentive to go above and beyond. As for the food? Not bad, just not on par with the surroundings. Think solid dinner in a jaw-droppingly gorgeous location—not a culinary destination in itself. The highlight of the night was honestly just soaking in the ambiance with dessert in that dramatic courtyard. Bottom line: Worth going once for the setting, but don’t expect the meal to blow you away.

In July, my family and I had lunch at Gianni's. Great Miami attraction and place to take pictures. We ordered Prime Filet Mignon, two Faroe Island Salmon, and Lobster Spaghetti entrees with shrimp appetizer, 24K Golden Margarita, two cokes, and Acqua Panna. Dessert was nice. 20% service charge included. $75 per person

The Versace Mansion is definitely a one time visit. The ambience is beautiful. We ate there for lunch and had gorgeous views surrounding us. It is also in a great location. It is right on ocean drive, which we loved. They have a great lunch special that includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert. We tried the salad and octopus slices. Both were great! The entrees were okay, I would rate them about 8/10. For dessert we had a brownie and ice cream. It was nothing special. Our service was not the best. Our server seemed to have been really busy. In general, I would recommend visiting if it is your first time in Miami. Just make sure to make reservations.

The decor and ambience of this restaurant are truly stunning — beautiful, unique, and definitely one of a kind. The crowd and overall vibe make it feel like a special place to spend an evening. Unfortunately, the service did not match the setting. We were seated at a broken table, the wait times were long, and the staff seemed disengaged — there were few smiles and they didn’t stay long enough to properly take our order. As for the food, it was average at best. The steak ordered medium-rare leaned closer to medium, the chicken was quite dry, and the asparagus didn’t resemble asparagus at all. We also ordered tequila shots that never arrived. It’s disappointing because the space itself is gorgeous and has so much potential, but the experience didn’t live up to it.

Beautiful venue, small portions. The lunch prix fixe is $39.50 + 20% service charge + tax (appetizer, entree, dessert). Some entrees require $12-18 supplements, some appetizers require $8 supplements. I had the Gianni's Salad, Grilled Branzino, and chocolate cake. The branzino was tender, tasted good, not great, and the portion was very small. The dessert was disappointing - basic and tasted store-bought. None of the dishes were impressive, very mediocre. I was hungry again within 2.5 hours and went to another restaurant for another full meal. Service was friendly and professional. The mansion is absolutely stunning - the architecture and ambiance are the real highlights here. Worth visiting once just to see the beautiful space. Note: There's a dress code - no flip flops. Overall: Come for the atmosphere and experience, not necessarily for a satisfying meal. The historic mansion makes it worth one visit.

Glitz Without the Grit: Dampened experience from my Solo Lunch at the Versace Mansion! I rolled into the Versace Mansion Restaurant; Gianni on my recent visit to Miami hoping for a glamorous night and walked out with a stand-up routine instead. The service was so slow I learned new life lessons from the bread basket—starting with patience, followed closely by the art of staring at menus as though they might whisper the meaning of life. My server was in-attentive to me as a cat at a dog show: charmingly pretending to be sorry when he finally showed up. I was not amused. As for the food, it was nothing to write home about—even if home is a voicemail left by your grandmother. It didn’t wow me, didn’t spark joy, and didn’t even pretend to be memorable. If “fine dining” is a high hill, this was a gentle molehill with a nice view from a distance. Ambiance? Sure, the place looks somewhat fancy to make your photos feel important, but the actual experience felt overhyped—like listening to a dubbed movie where the subtitles clock out early. Bottom line: I will take long to return. If you’re chasing a five-star tale, you’ll leave with a cautionary fable:🥲😉😊!

The ambiance is amazing and the service is very good. The food is average! My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass which was nothing special, I had the chicken which was actually BAD should have sent it back. Very pricey restaurant. Some of the appetizers were very good and others just so so. I doubt that would go back. For the price they charge the food needs to be better.

Good restaurant. Very vibrant and beautiful. I decided to go for dinner one night on a solo date. Was seated on a high table and chair and I liked it because it was out of the way. Service was okay but you can see because the restaurant is busy. The food and drinks were just okay. No special attention, just your regular food and drinks but at a very high price. You're going for the ambiance and decor in my opinion. It's not like the LV restaurant in NYC where an effort to give the LV experience is made. It is beautiful though, so it's something you should do once if you're up for it.

I absolutely loved coming here for the ambience, but this is definitely a one time kind of place. There’s so much that could be done to elevate Gianni’s, but I assume they don’t feel the need to because people will come simply because it’s the Versace mansion. My food wasn’t terrible, it was okay, it was average. I think that’s what’s wrong you would expect such a beautiful place to have better quality. The drinks were okay, you can’t even say you would want to come back for the drinks at $20 for a drink I could get for less at a chain restaurant and the same quality. My server charged me for something I didn’t order because he didn’t understand when I was asking him a question. When I pointed it out he tried to debate me on it. Come once for the beautiful atmosphere, but even then they don’t have the proper ventilation throughout the restaurant. I’ve been to plenty of outdoor restaurants. I’m a Floridian, this place keeps the heat in because they haven’t used any of the money they’re bringing in to install a better ventilation system.

It’s all about the atmosphere. I have been here a few times and the atmosphere is an amazing.we had the fresh buratta, Bronzino and Seabass with great cocktails and wine. I found the Seabass and the Branzino a little dry. There was no sauce, a little lemon butter, a little white wine sauce would’ve complimented it greatly. I was disappointed, because I see our server handing a special menu to other tables. I am not lookng at saving money, but I thought this was a bad deal. They said they only offered the menu for people who ask. If they don’t ask for it, they don’t get how would any customer know that’s such a MENU offering exists.its a must visit in south beach 🏖️

We really wanted to enjoy our visit to the Versace restaurant, but it fell short of expectations. After waiting for our table for 40 mins, we ended up having to carry our own drinks and ice bucket from the bar to our table. The restaurant itself is stunning, but the service felt cold and disinterested, staff seemed disengaged, with one dropping plates and another walking past without helping. The calamari starter was poor, and when we mentioned this, the server just said “thank you” and walked away. A drink I ordered before my main arrived after I’d finished eating, completely watered down as I’ve had melted. The space was also uncomfortably cold, with guests putting jackets on. We had to ask for the bill four times and service just seemed incredibly slow and disorganised. A 20% service charge is added automatically, yet you’re still asked to write in another tip, which feels misleading. The one bright spot was our lovely male server who genuinely cared. We wanted this to feel like a special treat, but it ended up being all glamour and no warmth. Style without substance

The place is stunning and food was good, but taking off a few points for service. Our waitress was very nice but was deceiving about the up charge for a side. When my fiancé ordered the filet, she said to us he can pick one side and pointed to them. We both looked at each other and he said he didn’t know it came with a side but he picked one. She didn’t say anything after he questioned it and when we got our bill there was the $13 charge for the side that we thought came with the filet. Gratuity was also automatically included or else we would have left a lower tip. It was fun to go once but probably wouldn’t go back.

The food was not very good, not very flavorful, but the service was incredible our waiter was outstanding. I forgot his name, but will post his picture. The atmosphere was beautiful. Recommend to visit, but the food needs a little attention.

I agree with a lot of reviewers.  I have been to Miami many times.  I have debated and debated each time whether to come here given what I had heard and what a majority of the reviews say.  I finally thought as I am currently in Miami, just to go.  If you are reading this, and on the fence on whether to go or not, then my advice is to get it off your list and never go back!  Why anyone would want to come back here is beyond me!  Despite making a reservation, like most guests you will be made to wait.  What the point is of making a reservation, I don't know! The only positive of my experience was the venue.  A stunning historical venue and former residence of the late fashion designer, Gianni Versace.  The restaurant has a lunch set menu offer which is good value. However, I went for dinner as you are not limited to a set menu. In the evening, the Villa looks even more stunning. I had half a dozen of the Kusshi oyster to start and the grilled jumbo tiger prawn (2 prawns) as a main.  Both the dishes were fine but pretty 'average' for what you are paying for. The tiger prawn was bland and needed way more seasoning.  There were only 2 prawns. The rest of the plate was filled with salad.  The complimentary bread basket was not fresh.  My guess is that they use the same basket for different guests.  I don't drink alcohol and there were no non-alcoholic beverages on the menu. When I asked the waiter, after some consideration he said to me that they could make a non-alcoholic mojito for me.  The mojito was very sweet.  The waiter wasn't really friendly.  Like a few other reviewers have mentioned, class, race and social status are likely to have an impact on where you sit. I was a solo diner; I knew that I would be shoved at the back.  There appeared to be no dress code. A majority of people were very dressed up. Others were more casual.  The gentleman next to me had a baseball cap on.  The lobby as you enter and the main dining area were stunning. Buzzing.  Lovely atmosphere.  That is where the positives end.  Been there, done it.  I don't regret it but I definitely won't be back.

Nice atmosphere, disappointing food. Salads were good but I ordered chicken from lunch special and it was bland, almost like fake chicken. We were dressed casual business however lots of people in t-shirts, shorts, and sneakers. Not worth the money to me.

Disappointing Experience at Gianni’s – Not Worth the Hype I’ve lived in Miami Beach for 8 years and have always heard mixed (mostly bad) reviews about Gianni’s at the Versace Mansion. I never bothered to try it because I live here, but for my birthday, I decided to treat myself and see if the experience lived up to the iconic location. I sat down at 8:00 pm and didn’t leave until 10:39pm – and I was alone! The service was painfully slow, with my server disappearing for 18-20 minutes at a time. It took that long just to order water, appetizers, the main course, and dessert. I felt forgotten, and honestly, it was frustrating. The food? Shockingly bad. They served me spawning oysters – which are known to be risky and potentially dangerous to eat, especially since someone recently died from consuming them. I couldn’t believe they still served them, knowing the risks. I didn’t eat them but still had to pay for them. The rest of the meal wasn’t much better – the fish was undercooked, bland, and tasteless. The only highlight was the dessert presentation, which looked nice but tasted just okay – nothing special. I even chatted with a few other tables, and they all seemed equally unimpressed. To top it off, I was placed in a corner without a view, despite the steep $181 bill (for one person!). They automatically add a 20% service charge and still expect a tip – which feels pretty bold for the level of service provided.

Jorge was our server, he waited on the other 3 tables in our section regularly, checking in on other guests. He took our order and when we asked if we could order a drink, he said “water” matter of factly since we already had water on our table. After he took our order he never once checked in with our table, almost avoiding it. We were here for lunch and there was only two of us. Food was decent, but there was a sauce lacking for the salmon dish. No seasoning or anything, the saving grace was the cook. The wait staff as a whole here seem miserable, hosts, bussers ect. The shrimp appetizer was delicious. We didn’t order any alcohol and that seems to be the factor of being waited on to any capacity. Jorge also tried to give us our check before even receiving our desserts, because he didn’t check in once or know where we were at in our lunch. Spoons were given after almost dropping off the check. Jorge sucked as a server and hopefully you don’t get him.

The mansion itself is gorgeous and worth seeing, just get a drink and maybe an appetizer. Unfortunately, the food does not live up to the setting. Below average quality and overpriced for what is essentially fast-food-level cuisine.

I’m on my honeymoon trip and I made a reservation with a note saying it’s our special day and that I’d like to get a nice table. But when we arrived, they seated us all the way in the back next to the bar where they serve drinks and food, which was very disappointing. We changed to another table but we were still in the back of the terrace. Normally I don’t care but since I wrote that this is my special trip, I expected a nicer table even if it wasn’t close to the fountain view. The spinach ravioli and burrata were decent but nothing impressive and I don’t think the quality of the food matches the level of this kind of restaurant. I also didn’t like one of the servers she lacked fine dining service experience. Overall, I’m not satisfied with the experience. It’s nice to see the ambiance but they need to improve their food, service and management.

The atmosphere was the COOLEST! The be here and see his house and a little bit of where he walked is something I will forever remember. The food was so bad though and the service was worse! They look down there nose at you and make you feel bad for being there if you don’t look a certain part 😡

Photo shop your self by the pool and eat dinner some place else. Dollar for dollar a vet low quality meal and service was not what one would expect for fine dining. My Filet Steak ($69) was a chunk of average chewy meat improperly prepared. The side of roasted Potato’s ($15) were over cooked and worthy of a return at Denny’s. My wife’s Seabass was decent but small and plating was not desirable. They sat us at our requested table poolside which was a positive but the non stop parade of photo taking next to us was annoying. Our waiter did not return to get my wine order until I flagged him after my meal arrived. His assistant asked if I was done with food still on my plate. I said no and she reached for my plate anyway. The ballon chocolate cake ($24) was the highlight of the meal. The waiter was not happy with his $60 tip. He suggested I increase it since the service charge was for the restaurant. Really?!? It was on my wife’s bucket list . Glad it was checked. Will not return.

We dined at Gianni at the former Versace Mansion, and unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. Food quality was very poor. We ordered mussels in tomato sauce, which is supposed to be a hot appetizer. They were served cold, and the so-called sauce was nothing more than mussels sitting in thick tomato paste — no balance, no flavor. The eggplant parmigiana was completely bland and lacked any depth or seasoning. The worst dish of the night was the branzino. It was cold, dry, and clearly overcooked — easily the worst branzino we have ever had. Service was equally unacceptable. Despite clearly telling the waitress not to bring all dishes at once, the starters and entrées arrived almost at the same time, with only a 3–4 minute gap between them. This ruined the pacing of the meal and showed a lack of care or attention. The attitude of the staff was unwelcoming, and the overall service felt rushed and poorly managed. On top of that, there is a mandatory service charge of nearly 25%, regardless of the quality of food or service. For an experience like this, I would not willingly pay a single penny in tip. A compulsory charge at this level feels completely unjustified. Another uncomfortable detail: while we were at the bar waiting for our table, our credit card was held and not returned until we left the bar area, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. Conclusion: I do not recommend this place for food or service. However, if your goal is simply to see the iconic Versace Mansion, make a reservation and have one drink only — nothing more.

We had a reservation, but they still made us wait a few minutes before seating us. Not the end of the world, but still. Once inside, the place feels more like a photo-op than an actual restaurant. It’s pretty, very “Versace,” but the whole experience leans heavily on the aesthetic more than the food. They brought us the complimentary bread, and honestly, it was terrible, chewy and almost impossible to eat. I’ve never left the bread untouched at any restaurant, but this one was just not good. We ordered a Hugo Spritz, an Apple Spritz, and a mojito. They were fine, pretty simple drinks, just overloaded with mint to make them look fancier. When we asked our waiter for suggestions, he didn’t really know what to recommend. We got the fried calamari, and when we asked about the oysters, he didn’t even know what sauces they came with or what was in them. For a place that gets so many visitors, that was surprising. For the mains, my parents ordered two chicken dishes and I got the ravioli. The ravioli were good, maybe an 8/10. The chicken was also good, just way too much food for three people. It would’ve helped if the waiter had mentioned the portions, because it ended up feeling wasteful. Overall, the place is beautiful and definitely a “Miami moment,” but the service and food training need improvement — and they should really fix that bread.

Celebrating my birthday at Gianni’s in the Versace Mansion sounded like a dream — but it turned into a disaster I’ll remember until next year. Let’s start from the top: the hostess treated us like we were an inconvenience. No smile, no “welcome,” definitely no “happy birthday.” Our table was booked for 1:00 PM — we were seated at 1:30 with zero apology. I explained I have a newborn at home and chose this time specifically for a quick, special birthday lunch. The response? A cold “you must wait.” The vibes? Off. The staff? Zero enthusiasm. The cocktails? Straight out of a cheap 90s bar. And the food? Gas station quality — no exaggeration. Bland, lifeless, and clearly not fresh. It honestly tasted reheated. This place survives on its name and location — not on service, not on quality, and definitely not on hospitality. Beautiful setting, yes. But beyond that? A complete letdown. I’ll finish this review the way the staff should’ve greeted me: “Happy birthday.” You can keep the rest.

This place is solely for the views. The tables are packed in tightly. Even with a reservation we still waited. Food was subpar at best. I ordered lamb chops and they were flavorless and salty. I make them better at home. It is Miami…so food needs to be quality here! I’m really surprised. Cool photo ops though! Server seemed annoyed the whole time and never asked about any allergies. He tried to rush us through as well.

The day we went it was pretty cold 2/24/26 not enough heating lamps to go around I guess. The atmosphere was nice. Decent vibe. Seated promptly. The food was mid quality. I ordered the lobster spaghetti and it had no flavor. The lobster was over cooked and chewy hard to swallow. The sauce was awful. The strawberry mojito was terrible. Overall it was over priced and a one and done.

Every single staff person but one girl was rude. First when we walked in we got dirty looks from the hostess’ maybe because we were four minutes late? I’m not sure but it was off putting right from the start. Our server barely paid us any attention the whole time and was rushing us to order because the kitchen was closing which is fair, but people walked in after us and sat down after we ordered. They sat us right by the place where the servers work in the back which is not what I’m complaining about at all, but it gave me the chance to witness workers drinking wine on the clock. As a person who works in the service industry, this was a horrible experience. The mansion was beautiful though.
