This is my 2nd time ordering from this restaurant. I highly recommend the food . It's tasty well served . I will definitely keep ordering food from this place a 10 from thank you.

FOOD IS OUTSTANDING! I am from NJ and usually when you order the combo it brings either the egg roll or soup, Grand China Restaurant offers both. Soups were out of this world. The General Tsao Chicken were chuncks of real chicken not just batter. Beef with Broccoli, my Mom who is very a picky eater rated it "the best she has ever had." Portions are perfect. I went to bed a happy man!! :-).

Stopped in for a late lunch. Buffet was fresh and tasted great. Not a huge selection but plenty to choose from. Service was prompt and friendly. If your in the mood for a quick bite and good buffet, I would recommend stopping here.

South garden, Chinese restaurant that serves Dim Sum. At noon on a Sunday it was almost crowded, social distancing. The carts rolled around the diners tables. The food was wonderful. Lots of choices. Casual dining with moderate price$. A must visit for Dim Sum.

Fresh & Delicious! I rarely order Chinese here in Cutler Bay, it is so hard to find consistent food that is actually enjoyable & good to eat. I hadn't eaten here is so many years, but decided to give it a try. Everything was perfectly prepared, good portion size, fresh, not too heavy, and really enjoyed. Definitely my new go to in Cutler Bay.

There is no dining but the food was excellent (especially the wontons). Great portion sizes to feed a big family for a decent price. Gave us a few meals actually. Also when they made a mistake they fixed it for free. Highly recommend due to food and staff.

The food is absolutely amazing and the staff is super nice. Never once had a complaint and never found any bugs like others have been saying. And my parents and I come here ALOT a couple times a week. It's cheap and they serve lots of food for a great price. 10/10 would always come back. If I could give 10 stars I would!!

Whoever gave a poor review of this place due to food quality is mega trippin and needs to get oops'd upside the head. I've ordered from this restaurant several times and have yet to be let down. Their portions were ridiculous pre-Covid and even now are definitely reasonable for their prices. Food is DELICIOUS. Bigtime recommendations for their entire dinner combo menu and the Roast Duck. Will definitely be a customer as long as they keep that food quality on point.

i’m a chinese guy and was traveling with my chinese family in miami. we passed by this place for a quick lunch. was BLOWN AWAY. my father worked as a chinese chef for two decades and this is the first time he complimented food from a take out restaurant. this place is the real deal: good taste, authentic flavors, good portions, generous trimmings, friendly service, reasonable prices. we came back the next day and surely wished we had something equivalent where we live. 1000% recommended

The brothers are cool, their peoples are cool, the food is good and great quality, and nothing has GMO in it. When it comes to their prices... you do get your money's worth imo.

The food is delicious! I always get the tofu and always so flavorful. My family loves the fried rice and General Tso chicken. The only thing is that their credit card has been “broken” for quite sometime now. But it’s a good thing they accept other forms of payment- CashApp, cash, Zelle.

Grand China is, hands down, the best chinese food and has the best service. The staff is so friendly and personable. Steven is always so welcoming and accommodating. The combination dinners are AMAZING and have enough to feed 2! The honey chicken is fresh and delicious. The boneless pork spare ribs are big and juicy. They are unlike any other Chinese restaurant. Fried rice is loaded with meat and veggies. Even the wonton soup and egg rolls are beyond superior. Julia welcomes everyone with a smile. We love this place!

Me and my family love this place we order soups from here atleast once a week and food about every 2 weeks the food is always hot and fresh and the staff ( most of the time a owner is present which i like alot they are very involved in there business ) are always super helpful and friendly I have never had a bad experience in the years that me and my family have been ordering from here and I highly recommend this place. Overall amazing Chinese food. Quite possibly the best General Tso’s and orange chicken I have ever tried. Very friendly staff. Restaurant was clean. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

We ate in for lunch. At first I thought they only accepted take-out because most of the dining area was cluttered with boxes and personal items of the employees. But a few booths were reserved for customers. We were the only customers there the whole time. Any one else who came in was picking up to-go orders. The service was attentive. Either the waitress was simply not talkative, or her English was rudimentary, but it did not affect the quality of our experience. The food was good, the service was good, everyone was kind. I felt that the booth and table were clean enough. It is a very casual spot and I believe most people would choose not to dine in because of the rather messy appearance of the interior, but it's fine if you came in with very close friends or a significant other fora very informal affair. I chose to eat in because I'm tired of sitting at home, lol! Thanks for the good food and service! Low prices, too. That's important!

OUTSTANDING!! It had been many years since I stopped here, and I was not disappointed. I had the beef chop suey. Fresh veggies and plenty of tender juicy cuts of beef. Lunch comes with a choice of rice, I had the pork fried rice, and it was delicious. Inside seating was a big plus for us since they seem to be disappearing. Our server, Steven, was friendly and helpful and wait time was minimal. Ordered egg rolls separately and they were super crispy, hot and the filling was different than the mostly cabbage kind and so very tasty. The atmosphere is not modern, and I appreciated that so 5 stars IMO. Brought back fond memories for us as my father and I have enjoyed sharing a good Chinese meal my entire life. Can't wait to go back with my husband for date night!! Thank you, Steven and Grand China. You are most welcome in my world.

I love this place there food is amazing it always hot and fresh know matter how you order your food. the orange chicken and egg foo young today and it was good and flavorful but what sold me on the deal was the sweet tea. The sweet tea wasn’t overly sweet but just right. Definitely coming back for the delicious food!

They went above and beyond!!! I ordered catering for 30 people the day of the event and they were able to fulfill my order. They even provided more food than what I need(at no extra charge) and they gave us extra fortune cookies and wonton chips!! Everyone loved the food and I kept on getting asked where I ordered the food - will definitely be ordering again from here!!!

I have to say I came in a few times and I absolutely LOVE the staff here, if they forget to give you an item they will ALWAYS give a complimentary item next time to correct a mistake. They take much pride in fast service and that's what I like about Grand China's staff. If they don't smile trust don't take it to heart it's probably because there extremely busy, but they will never be rude to customers, they have an awesome team of staff. There cashew chicken is 👍 a must try.

Came for the lunch special but wanted an egg roll as well. Kayla, our waitress, double checked the price for us and got us the dinner instead which came with an egg roll and soup! Super great service and delicious food. The general tsos chicken was all dark meat, lightly battered, and very crispy. Easily one of the best I've had! The house fried rice has plenty of meat and nicely seasoned, not a clumpy fried rice like some places. The wonton soup was also very flavorful in a beef broth and lots of meat. Wonderful lunch!

Excellent food and service, as a customer I was accommodated well. They were totally cool with me getting some work done while I ate there. Gotta say Steven, my server, really seems like a chill and respectful dude. The food was great too, the meat is actually tender and not dull tasting. I’m pretty particular about the quality so I was overall satisfied. Potentially the best aspect as a young student was the value, the portion was excellent and price was very fair. I never really go to restaurants to relax but this place is a good spot.

Great place to buy food. 90 % of the food has been delicious. It depends who's the cook. Many times the food has been great but sometimes the food is okay I guess it depend on the cook they have working that day. For now they're only taking cash, zelle or cash app they are not taking debit or credit cards All orders have to be phone in prior pickup.

Went for lunch with my son. We had the chicken curry, kung Pao chicken and egg drop soup. Overall food was ok. I would go again. Service was excellent. The reason I put Atmosphere at 2 stars is because place was kinda empty, with boxes in the corners and stuff stacked around everywhere. Not really inviting to eat in. Seems to be more of a take out set-up. Give them a try as a local restaurant...

been eating at grand china for over 15 years. we never buy anywhere else because the food was so good. however, this place is under new management and the qualtiy is less. the taste is different. its still good but not as good as the old management. there is only one server there the old guy and hes not always pleasant. we ate there just 3 people my mom husband and i and i was charged gratuity. the server added gratuity in himself which i thought was a little outrageous for his poor service and just 3 people. honey garlic chicken when my mom it into it was undercooked. plates are a little old and my plate looked like it wasnt washed and dried properly. still the food is not bad but its the little things that counts as well to improve overall

This has been THE family's favorite Chinese restaurant, the preference starting way back from when my Mom came down here from New York in the early 80s. We know that there have been changes to the staff because the food does not have the same taste, texture or quality that it had before. We are very sad to have experienced this and to have to share this, and we hope that things change for the better in the long run.

Ordered take-out. Presentation in house could be improved a bit as well as the customer service. Not rude but very nonchalant over the phone as well as in person. The food was ok, rice being very oily as we got near the bottom of the Large container(didn’t finish) and the flavor of the general tso could be improved as well in my opinion. They are ok but you have a myriad of better local options to choose from.

I ordered from this place 2 month ago and all the food was delicious, including a House Special Fried Rice, which at that moment I said it was the best I have ever tasted. I ordered yesterday almost the same items, including the House Special Fried Rice, and when I got home I was really disappointed. The worst fried rise I have ever tasted, it was super dry, tasteless, colorless, the rise itself seemed not to have good quality. I don't know if the real cooker was on vacation or quality started to fade out. I really hope they can deliver the delicious food I tasted the first time. I will give them the benefit of the doubt this time, but next time will be my last if the quality is the same.

I ordered take out yesterday. I was shocked that the price for beef with broccoli had gone up to $11.95, but ok inflation +covid19 caused price increase. However, when I got home the portion size was much smaller. I was very disappointed. Prior to the quarantine, I ordered from them regularly while working at Alorica and delivery at home. I don't think I will be going back and I am letting my company know how they are robbing customers in a very sneaky manner. This is a time to pull together, not take advantage.

I walked in, ordered 2 dinners, ask for fried rice instead of white, I had to order separately from the meal, add crab ragoons, $60. It better be a gourmet meal. I will not return. I would happily pay a slight up charge for fried rice instead of white but this was ridiculous amount of $ for 2 meals. Never again. Girl at the counter had no personality. I will revise once we get home and eat.

I will never patronize this restaurant again. I purchased the stir fried mix vegetables, which comes with rice. For $10.58, I got a plate FULL of rice with little vegetables. I requested extra brown gravy and as seen from the pic, there is minimal gravy.

I always loved their food, but today the rice was old and crispy. They normally give you plump clean shrimp, but today the shrimp was small and not cleaned. The honey chicken was good though.

this has been me and my families favorite chinese spot since i was a child and i’m 30 now. i don’t know what’s happened but the food has changed and it’s just bad now. two of our favorite things are the special fried rice and the honey garlic chicken. i ordered take-out a couple nights ago and the rice was so bland which is not normal and the honey garlic chicken was hard. the chicken was dry and the batter was tough so it had to be over a day old. we got chicken wings too and those were okay but have changed too. i’m not sure i’ll be returning. maybe i’ll give it a second shot but this seems like a change in the kitchen and not just one bad day 😔 everything just seemed tough and dry. IM SO SAD oh yeah, and we didn’t even receive the sauce for the honey garlic chicken, it was just the chicken.

But the prices are the same or more…..Very dissaponted and will not be ordering from this place ever again.

I had a really BAD experience from their RUDE attitude tonight! They practically called me a liar when I asked for a military veteran’s discount! They had given me the discount SEVERAL TIMES in the past. Tonight they claimed that they had NEVER given me a discount in the past!! I won’t come back to this restaurant ever! Customer for at least 3 yrs. Always order honey chicken, fried rice, rolls, green pepper steak, etc. For last few months portions in chicken nuggets and honey rediculous less. Chicken slightly under cooked had to put in oven 15 min and also no white rice included. Will try them for last time in a month or so and see if third time is the charm. If not--looking for a new Chinese food place. Update-----tried them AGAIN. Even worse then previous times, however the portions were much much better but food was a waste of money. Bland, greasy and honey for honey chicken was watered down. Very disappointed again. Won't order from them again.

I had the worst experience at this restaurant, food came with an awful smell when delivered. After speaking to the staff and attempting to return the food that I didn’t eat they were giving me a difficult time and did not want to return my money. They keep on saying “we have 200 customers daily and we never have a problem” very calculated response. What makes you lose a customer is when you do not hold yourself accountable for a mistake made. & yes I got all of my money back :) never going back. Food and customer service is the WORST.

Updating my review below: This place was on Dirty Dining on Channel 10 some months ago .They were ordered closed and allowed to reopen. Now, I understand why I got sick. I use to love this place. One weekend, I got sick after eating from here. To keep it nice let's just say I was up all night too weak to drive to the hospital. I always ate the samething pepper steak combo. I called and they offered more food. I said no. They should have refunded my money. But I left it alone and stayed away until I saw this place on Channel 10 dirty dining. I found out they had been closed down a few times which is why I'm doing this review. I hope they are cleaner now.

Food was cold, and they have an extremely rude delivery driver. They got the order wrong via delivery and I had to wait another 45 minutes for their mistake. On top of that, they wanted the wrong item back even after it was opened, (makes you question how many times have they given out food that was opened by another customer and reselling them) very disappointing and unprofessional. I had to wait with half of my food being cold and the other half being reordered. They’ve messed up in the past, however, after today I will not be coming back to this place. Horrible,

This place must be under new management after their recent status in dirty dining and being reopened. I thought it would be better but NO the beef with oyster sauce was actual pepper steak with pieces of rice in it. 🥵Disgusting looking. The wonton soup taste like toilet water with soy sauce in it. I had to throw the soups away. I will never order from this place ever again. Gross! Another investigation must take place for sure.

Hate the idea of charging customers 3/50 tip when use credit card. You only hurting yourself punishing the people that bring business to you all the cutler bay families

I went to pick up my order on Tuesday and the service was shameful the man in the front was so serious from the moment I called and came in. Normal customer service workers will atleast smile at you when you walk in and greet you both him and the girl there were very plain and I found it almost rude very uncomfortable experience I will not be coming back the food was also not that great and I had a stomach ache for the whole day after eating. It wouldn’t kill you to smile buddy.

Order for my parents today and first the website grubhub cancel the order without letting us know and hour later called the place order again with the manager over the phone. He said it will be ready in 30 minutes and the order arrived 1:45 minutes later the lady on the phone was not help the excuse was they were busy but no apology nothing and on top of that they hanged the phone on me. Super rude not recommended this place.
