Had an amazing brunch experience at this spot! The highlight was definitely the Eggs Benedict. It was a masterpiece of flavor, with perfectly poached eggs, velvety hollandaise sauce, and the right balance of textures. Every bite was a delight. This restaurant is the embodiment of comfort, cozy and delicious! A few weekends ago I was in Miami and looking for a heartfelt home cooked meal feeling. Killian’s was just the right place for it 😄 Starting with my waitress Alexis, she made me and my mother’s experience inviting. She was kind and patient, ensured ours and the other customers around us that she was tending to were all cared for. I ordered the french toast slam with a side of sausage and home fries. My mom ordered a spinach and tomato omelette. I haven’t been to a restaurant in years where the potatoes were not only cooked properly, but also seasoned well and perfectly crispy! The orange juice is freshly squeezed everyday in a machine and the sweetest ones are used. If I’m in the area again, I definitely will be coming back here.

I have to say in years I have not seen such a well dining place to be. The service was fast, the food was great! And the people are so attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone. Keep up the great work!

My first time eating at this establishment was on Mother's Day with family, and we really had a great time. Even though it was busy, the owner ensured we didn't wait too long. He checked on our table every so often and thanked us for coming. Having an owner be attentive to his guests really says a lot about his character. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area and want a nice place to eat and chat.

I love this place! The home fries have great seasoning. The bacon is crispy. My son loves the nutella banana and strawberry crepe. The servers are professional and attentive. Oh...and I love that they have grits! ;-)

It's always a pleasure dining at this establishment. Today, we arrived around 11 AM to find the place bustling with customers. Parking was a bit challenging, with the only available spots being outside, but we didn't mind. The outdoor area is equipped with plenty of fans, and there were no flies around the food, ensuring a pleasant experience. Despite the crowd, we were pleasantly surprised by the quick service. Our order was taken promptly, and the food arrived in no time. The coffee was exceptional, and the food was delicious. Overall, the service was excellent. We highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, or brunch!

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich & my husband ordered a cheese burger with fries. My husband told me that I ate that sandwich like if I had never eaten before, because it was so delicious and juicy.....Definitely going back to eat the crepes, I thought I was going to share with my hubby, but I just got too full with Lunch.

Today was my 1st time having breakfast at Killian Cafe and Grill. The food was delicious, the coffee was good. I did not wait long at all. My meal was out within 10 minutes. Alexis was my waitress. She provided excellent service with a smile. The restaurant was pleasant, clean, and welcoming with good food and great service. You will not be disappointed.

I can’t say enough good things about this amazing breakfast spot In the Kendall area. I’ve been coming for a few months now consistently and they have never failed to deliver great service, fast & DELICIOUS(very important) food without fail. I came to the physical location today and they have outside seating available, the staff were all wearing masks and they made sure each table was safely distant from each other. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get the name of my waitress but she was incredible. From the moment we sat down she was super kind, attentive, and efficiently provided everything we needed at a moments notice. I ended up getting the Killian grand slam which comes with eggs(honestly didn’t know what eggs should taste like until I had these, game changers!), house potatoes(really well seasoned and flavorful), bacon(crunchy and not overly greasy), and this sausage gravy and biscuits that are a match made in heaven. As a side I went with the chocolate chip pancake which was STACKED with a chocolate chips, thin and crispy! If you are in the area check them out, I promise you will definitely become a regular here very fast.

Went here for preworkout meal. They serve all day breakfast so I ordered an all meat omelette , with grits , a side of bacon and a fruit cup all pictured. The iced tea was unsweetened (the way I like it) The omelet was filling. Grits were buttered for taste. The restaurant has a diner type atmosphere. A decent bit of seating inside and similar outside. It is a fairly packed when I went so they appear to be doing well. I do recommend

You ever drive by a place so many times and when you finally give it a shot you wonder what took you so long? That is this place for me. I had the eggs Benedict a waffle and some coffee. My friend had an avocado chicken wrap. He said his wrap was good. My eggs and waffle were really good. My coffee was tasty but it felt more like an American brew than a Cafe con Leche that I get at other places. They have various options so I'm excited to go back and try other items from the menu. So happy I finally went.

The food was good, I had the Florentine eggs Benedict. The server was a bit rude, but did not get the orders wrong. The atmosphere was nice, we got an outdoor seat, there were some loud people and the sounds of Miami, as you could expect. Overall a pretty ok place to eat.

The food was fantastic, especially the pancakes. Any place that doesn't use the abomination of a syrup bottle Dennys uses gets a plus on my book. The only issue is that the interior decor makes the restaurant look like it was decorated by a trucker dad going through a mid-life crisis. Decor straight out of hobby lobby. Otherwise, great place.

The servers are very friendly and attentive. The food was good and tasty and on par with other restaurants. We had the Philly Steak and the Killian Burger. The Philly was very tasty, the burger was just okay. It seems like it was not seasoned, I had to add salt and A1. Overall nice place to come and have a good time with friends and family.

We had a great breakfast we ordered a caffe con leche but the coffe was so strong we had to order more milk and even like that it was still to strong.

Great local breakfast place close to home that I finally tried and I was very happy with the food, service, friendly atmosphere and outdoor seating. There coffee was great and waffles were amazing. My only reason for removing a star was because we had to send back silverware and a coffee cup with lipstick on it which to many would be a no return. They were not busy so I didn’t understand why the staff doesn’t better check there items before giving them to customers. I will return to give them another try.

The place was packed when we got there, so that’s how you know the food is going to be fire. We got the richmans Benedict, corned beef hash, and a strawberry, banana, Nutella crepe. Everything was super good until half way through eating my crepe I found a hair in it. The waitress was super nice about it and took it off the bill. Up until that, the crepe itself was tasty. First time coming here after years of passing by. We came in at 3pm and we sat down and got our orders in quick. We got a plate of the chicken and waffles and the nova omelette. While they were both good the omelette was lacking in flavor and I wasn’t wowed. The service was great though and I would possibly come here again but to try different plates.

The food was good, great even. Had the waffle slam and my husband had the meat omelette and we both thoroughly enjoyed our food. As far as a dining experience is concerned, I could do without the literal wall to wall coverage of Fox News at 10 AM… but to each their own I suppose? The decor seemed like it was trying to be chuck wagon meets first watch. Service was good and prices were pretty on par for the area.

The food was decent, not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely not bad. That said, the prices were outrageous. Ten dollars for two eggs? I get that they might charge more since they’re not open all day, but it still felt extremely overpriced for the quality. Would I come back? Only if I had no other options. Overall, it was okay, just not worth the price.

First time visit this morning for breakfast. I ordered the Killian's grand slam (2 eggs, bacon, home fries, biscuits and gravy) my husband had the County Benedict (A biscuit topped with Eggs Benedict with a sausage patty with home fries and a side of corned beef hash) I will start with the place is nice and the servers were great! However we did not enjoy the food at all. The home fries are heavily seasoned with something that clearly is staying on the cook top even the bacon had the same flavor that wasn't that appealing. Being born and raised in the South I know a real biscuit and homemade gravy when I taste it.... This wasn't it. The biscuits were frozen and warmed up and the gravy was either from a can or a packet made with water. Highly disappointing breakfast for over 50 bucks for two people. Speaking of that coffee is $4.00 a cup.

The thing with the Killian Grill is that it's always hit or miss. Sometimes you go and you get good food and other times, like this time, the food is not so good. Today is was was overcooked - rubbery chicken. I'm removing it from my go-to places for comfort food. Too many misses.

I'm relieved that I could rate the service separately from the food and atmosphere. We met another couple for breakfast; we had never been to this restaurant before. Our server was OUTSTANDING! She was very attentive, polite, and very efficient. Unfortunately, I wish that the other ratings of this restaurant would match.... first of all, we were seated in a booth and I immediately noticed that there was a tear in the vinyl near where I was sitting. Then, I started looking at the menu - that was a shocker! The prices were outrageous for the type of restaurant. To pay upwards of $16.00 for a simple breakfast just doesn't make sense to me unless I'm getting top quality food. I ordered two eggs over-medium, home fries, rye toast and coffee. The eggs and fries were okay (nothing special) and the rye toast was not crispy and only halfway toasted. My wife's bacon tasted "off" almost like plastic. All in all, it was a disappointing breakfast. There is another restaurant in the area that has homestyle breakfast at reasonable prices - and they've been in business for well over 50 years. I don't know if the prices are because of the cost of rent in the space, but I would expect much better quality for the prices that they charge. Again, I cannot have enough good things to say about the service. Not only was our server outstanding, but I also noticed that other servers were equally attentive. I doubt that I will ever return to this restaurant because of the average food at "superior food" prices.

I usually order chicken and waffles from a restaurant if they have it and here they had "Crispy Chicken and Waffles Benedict" so I ordered it and what I received was half a waffle, no syrup, and for some reason cold cheese sprinkled all over the top like it's waffles formaggio.

We came to this place for my kid 5th birthday. The chicken tenders were extremely seasoned, they had no french fries, the bathroom were disgusting and the prices were way too high for what it had to offer.

This is a strawberry pina colada smoothie, and there's nothing smooth about it!!! You do not taste the strawberry, and the pineapple have a old bitter taste to it (bad fruit). This was NOT drinkable. Their grits are also rock hard, no smoothness or creaminess to them. If I order food out, I shouldn't have to take it home and completely doctor it up to make it taste decent. I'm not talking just adding pepper and salt, I'm talking about a completely transforming it into something good to eat. I "would not" recommend this place after my initial experience.

First and last time coming here. What's in the picture is what I ordered. $25 for that? There's no way. NOTHING on the breakfast menu was $25, and what I ordered had less food than any of the dishes that were on the menu. THE CONTAINERS weighed more than the food itself. Don't get me wrong, the food was really good but not worth the $25, I'm sorry. The owner should be ashamed to be charging this much. And this isn't me being a cheapskate. It's just wrong for them to be doing what they're doing. I didn't leave 1 star because the waitresses were nice.

I’ve been to this restaurant before and it was a good experience with great food. This time around though, although the food was as good as before, the service was not. The server took a long time to bring the food, did not check for beverage refills nor to see if we needed anything. I had to ask another server to get the bill. And I considered myself lucky, her other tables had more of a delay, and there was one patron that kept standing up to get the attention of the server. The server appeared to be confident and knowledgeable, and the other tables not in her care were serviced on a timely manner, so I won’t chalk it up to beginners issues or the place being too full. The server should perform better, and management should take care of patrons seated outside as well. A lot of people left less than impressed, don’t count on good food bringing people back. A caring attitude does wonders, it was too early for poor service.

On 4/27/2025. Decided to stop with the family before going to the zoo. Decoration is nice but tables are cramped up together. Anyways I knew what I wanted but it took ten minutes for server to come to the table. We asked to swap the regular toast for Cuban toast and we were getting charged additional $3.99. Even after asking nicely the server was very sharp stating it was against restaurant policy to do this swap. My appetite went away and went to a Cuban cafeteria nearby to have a way better experience.

Just don’t…Not to be super negative but this was seriously I think the worst breakfast place we e ever ate at. All 3 of us agreed. Espresso was good but add your own sugar bc they put wayyyy too much. Avocado toast was god awful. Avocado mash was hot…biscuits & gravy was ridiculously salty. Omelette we ordered was just blah…way over priced for the quality of food. Service was okay. Just skip this place unless your just stopping for coffee.

Very disappointed with the chopped steak that I ordered (beef patty) the food didnt really have taste and had to season it myself. I ordered sweet tea but it was unsweetened when I got it. We asked about the chopped steak with the manager but she stated that chopped steak was a ground beef patty, didnt want to argue so I let it slide. Overall wouldnt recomend.

They send the food so badly packed that all the food was mostly outside the boxes, the boxes were clearly packed upside down from the restaurant, but the manager offered no solution and blamed the delivery driver, when it was clearly the restaurant’s fault because the food was served in the top part and the bottom part of the containers were mostly clean you can see it in one of the pics and it was like that in all the containers ;the manager is useless as well , horrible customer service

I went to this place with a friend and my 2 year old baby, and the owner slammed the door super hard so a waitress could get out (while arguing) and hit my friend HARD in the arm, a minute later he comes out and starts cleaning the table next to us while arguing with another waitress. That's when we realized he had a bad attitude and that the door thing wasn't a simple accident, to which I went to tell him to be careful when opening the door because he hit my friend and almost hit my daughter, to which the super rude guy starts saying “no when was that, he was going to get the camera and my friend got upset when he was denying it and also argued with him, he kept arguing and then said "anja I hit you, what do you want me to do now"? And he left, the waitresses all apologized to us very embarrassed as if they were the ones. The man returned a few minutes later. He apparently checked the camera and was apologizing and saying he would refund us since we had already paid. In the end, he refunded my friend but not me. He wanted to avoid a lawsuit or any bad review I guess. SO AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Plus, treating employees poorly in front of customers is a very ugly thing.
