Wow what an experience. This restaurant is a hidden gem. We tried the 10-course tasting menu and it did not disappoint. The dishes are meticulously curated to wake up all your senses. The tastes are so fresh and flavorful and the descriptions of each ingredient really made me love this place even more. I loved the beet tartare and the trio appetizer of gazpacho, ham + tomato toast and croquette - all so fresh! Great service, lively upbeat atmosphere, nice and clean restaurant surrounded by a jungle of plants and trees. They also have a museum family collection of art you can view that is very unique and outside the box. If you haven’t tried this place you definitely need to put it on your list.
Leku is always a wonderful place to have a wonderful dinner with amazing food & service. The place is so beautiful also to celebrate an special occasion. You can seat inside but they also have a stunning outdoor space surrounded by beautiful natural greenery. The menu is inspired in the Basque region cuisine and there are also specials of the day. You can order everything to share and also is the perfect spot to go with friends and that way you can try more menu items. My favorites were for sure the Scallop Tartare, the Cochinillo Crujiente and the Basque Cheesecake
Beautiful restaurant with excellent service and good food. Server was attentive and food came quickly. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food very much and the cocktails were delicious. The butter and bread were very good and we also loved the beet tartare and the Lubina. We were too full for dessert but the basque cheesecake looked excellent.
Leku is AMAZING!! We had the most fabulous, delicious meal here! It was our first time and we cannot wait to go back because everything on the menu looked fantastic. We started with foie gras cocoa tart- melts in your mouth! Shrimp in garlic sauce was so good and presented so beautifully. Our main was a shareable pork shoulder prepared in a traditional Basque way - like over mesquite charcoal in a stone oven and their special mushroom rice. They have three different rice dishes similar to paella. The tastes were out of this world good. The basque cheese tart was the ultimate finish! Now add to this amazing experience the nicest wait staff and beautiful garden setting?? It’s the best restaurant we have been to in all of Miami. Worth every penny! Highly, highly recommend!
Came here for dinner the day after Valentine’s Day because our schedule just worked better that way. Made online reservations for dinner for 2 very easily online. There was street parking right in front of the restaurant which was maybe half full. The decor and ambiance is unique, amazing, and inviting. We were greeted by the hostess and promptly seated. Our server was friendly and professional. He made excellent suggestions so we basically ordered all that he suggested. We had the baked bread with smoked butter. Perfect start to the meal. The we had the croquetas which had Iberico ham, chorizo, and cod; wow these were perfect. Then the creamy clam rice with shrimp and green sauce, this dish was perfectly seasoned and packed a ton of flavor. Also the grilled snapper, this was cooked perfectly. For dessert we had their version of “cheesecake”. During the meal our server was attentive, yet not intrusive. The music was a vibe. I can honestly say this was one of the top most perfect meals I’ve ever had in south Florida. Every thing that came out of the kitchen was executed to perfection and we will absolutely return for dinner or lunch happily. Leku is a STRONG recommend!
Admittedly it's not a long list, but my hands down vote for best new restaurant in 2020 is in an art museum, with dishes as pretty as anything on the wall. It's an excellent representation of the simplistic elegance of Basque cuisine. The beet tartare, paella, and smoked ice cream were highlights of a meal better than many I've had at restaurants with Michelin stars to their names. Welcome to town, Leku.
We came here for my moms birthday and it was incredible. We did the tasting menu and I can’t recommend it enough. Our waiter Samuel talked us into the special 6 course menu that they are doing for the month of June instead of just ordering items à La carte and he was 100% right. Every course was incredible I didn’t even get to photograph most of it before it was demolished by my family. The mushroom rice was the surprise star or the night and the basque cheese cake and smoked ice cream where like we have never had before. Would definitely come back again soon and I hope we get Samuels great recommendations again.
The food was delicious and the portions were surprisingly filling. A friend and I went for Miami Spice and the menu was quite delicious. We shared the beet tartare, short rib milk bao buns, wagyu veel cheeks, mushroom rice, and the cheesecake. The ambience was nice, however, it was very humid due to the large window being left open while it was raining outside. The server was excellent and very attentive. Overall a very nice experience! Would go again.
Ok Leku has to be one of the top restaurants food wise in miami. I’ve eaten here before and really enjoyed it, but this time I got a couple of dishes that put Leku in top tier status. The ceviche is absolutely phenomenal- if you like briney flavors the olive leche de Tigre is something unique and the red snapper they use is so good. We also got the iberico tartar- it’s another unique dish that slaps. If you’re a fan of beef tartare this is an interesting take on a tartare that eats more like a beef. The pork is rich and not overly salty, has great fat marbling so a good mouth feel. The rice with seafood was incredible as well. What I found is that the texture of the food was really intentional. The steak has to be one of the top steaks in miami. Cooked to perfection. I normally eat my steaks medium rare but took this to medium and felt it could be literally a touch less cooked but it was a perfect medium. Finally the basque cheesecake- I’m not even a fan of cheesecake but this one is to die for and the berry sorbet cuts the richness of the cheese and refreshes every bite. This is definitely a spot to go to share with up to 4 people. Service was top, the server was knowledgeable about his menu and passionate about the food. The place is generally beautiful with col art all around as it’s attached to the rubell and has a beautiful courtyard. The entrance is a little strange with its cold steel door but it’s like the garden of Eden within.
Outstanding! From start to finish Chef Carlos and his amazing team truly know the enjoyment people receive while dining. The presentation of all the meals from appetizers to dessert was beautiful. The environment is enjoyable for a date night or in a group setting. Excellent service and friendly staff. Special menu for SOBEWFF
This place is Amazing. I felt happy as soon as I walked in. Beautiful atmosphere!!! .came for a late lunch and visit to the museum. Perfect day. We did the tasting menu and it was fun and delicious. I really hope this place will get the Michelin star, they definitely deserve it. Great service, great food and great atmosphere. I can’t wait to come again next time I’m in town.
Leku was a fantastic fine dining experience. Everyone encountered during our visit was accommodating and the service offered was impeccable, not to mention the food and drink programs which are some of the best in the city. The kindness and compliments from the staff, bar, and the kitchen were some the best I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing and we will definitely come back again
Amazing. Amazing. AMAZING!! Impeccable and unsurpassable service. Divine food - every course was a masterpiece and perfectly portioned, staying perfectly true to the Basque Culinary Tradition and ideology in its approach to ingredients and preparation. Just superb. I truly cannot say enough about how absolutely amazing and wonderful every part of our experience was. Run, don’t walk, to Leku!!!
Leku has been one of the best gastronomic experiences I have ever had in Miami. Honestly the food is very well prepared and elaborated, everything is amazing here. We did the Miami Spice menu, which was absolutely delicious and I can’t wait to go back again.
The food was exceptional! Every bite was a burst of flavor. The attentive service, led by Andrea, was impeccable. Her unobtrusive check-ins and the staff always kept our table clean between dishes. The restaurant has a relaxing, romantic ambiance, which I think makes it ideal for a date night or a group dinner. Their commitment to cleanliness was evident throughout, even extending to the restrooms. Leku undoubtedly offers a complete package of delectable food, attentive service, and a captivating atmosphere.
This place was SPECTACULAR!! The food is perfection, the taste of the food is what my family and I like to call the "ratatouille” experience. The lamb chops melt in your mouth, the mushroom rice is out of this world. The ambiance is so beautiful, they have a beautiful outdoor area with a live DJ that plays great indie/lounge music. The the staff is extremely professional and makes the overall experience totally worth it. My family and I will definitely be back. We did the Leku sharing experience and we rate it a 1000/10😋
Pleasant surprise here. If we could give it ten stars we would. Absolutely unbelievable on everything. Service was top notch too. Michael served us and really made the evening special. Not to mention the beverage director and all the managers popping by the check on us. Truly unique creations and spectacular presentation and taste. Can’t wait to go back.

Wow! This was one of my best-ever restaurant experiences. We came for the Miami Spice lunch and sat outside. Although it was 95°, the patio is shaded with many large fans, you wouldn't know we were in the middle of a heat wave. Service was exceptional without being pretentious. Our water was refilled before our glass was empty. Our table was wiped down between courses. All employees were warm and knowledgeable. The food... wow... I think I will be thinking of my meal for days. I started with the mussels cauldron with a saffron sauce, the waiter gave me a spoon and said people like to eat the broth... he was right. It were served with fries instead of bread because the oil of the fries complements the broth. My friend had the snapper crudo which she enjoyed. For our entrees we got the short rib sliders on milk buns and the wagyu veal cheeks. Before today I never thought I would like or even try veal cheeks. They were super tender and could be cut with a fork. The sweet potato mash was very creamy. We both got the chocolate 3 ways for dessert and there was not a crumb left on either plate. A 20% gratuity is added to the bill. We found street parking a block away. I recommend a visit to Leku

Overall very good food. Very classic dishes and flavours, nothing really new, but very well executed and tasty. The meat was great and the basque cheesecake was the best! The service was very subpar for the price of the tasting menu. They didn’t explain or presented the dishes. We were in an odd number and they brought some things that were not enough for everyone. Also, when we were ordering we were never informed that it would be a shared dishes experience. Drinks also took too long to arrive (e.g we order cocktails that only arrived after the first moment was already on the table). So overall a good experience but a bit overpriced.
First time visit with reservations. Seated promptly and offered water. Cocktail and wine selection was excellent but they were out of a wine I ordered. Every dish we had was excellent and all their meats are cooked over charcoal. The server we had was initially very good but he began to disappear more and more as the meal went on. Hopefully it was a one time fluke. I recommend it overall.

A disappointment. We went for a tapas lunch and ordered only small plates. I had the garlic shrimp which were swimming in butter and far too salty and the scallops, just one sliced, also very soggy and salty. No originality in the flavour despite the baby morels, which were a nice touch but had no taste. The kids enjoyed the croquettes, sliders and foie gras sere ok. Despite a well stocked bar, my lychee vodka martini was only passable. I would not eat there again. I objected to the slapped on 20% service charge particularly in a restaurant which wants to be high class. Service should be discretionary. Great atmosphere and service. Awsome Rubell Museum visit as usual.
