Best Cuban pizza we ever had in Miami, definitely recommended. We order a shrimp pizza family size, cheese and the tomato sauce amazing.

The best cuban pizza in town! The flavor of their pizza is like no other cuban pizza in Miami. They have mastered the art of the crunchy cheesy crust to perfection. My favorite is the guava pizza. The taste of sweet and savory together in your mouth is just magical. Their chorizo lasagna is also delicious! Highly recommend it!

It's a small place hiden in the back of the shopping center, but they know how to make an awesome pizza if that is what you are looking for. Great service, waitress was really nice. Went in for a pick up and was offered some garlic rolls while I waited, that was nice of them. I will definitely come back.

The only thing I regret is not discovering this place sooner. The first bite, AS DELIVERY, was not greasy, flavorful, and wonderful. Will definitely order again!

Awesome authentic cuban pizza

I only order from polo norte, when I tried their pizza, chicken wings and cream de queso they were the winner. Never order again from polo Norte. Comparing them with pizza 305, Marco pizza they are number 1 in the area for Cuban pizza. I always order delivery I never ate at the restaurant but I definitely recommend them if you want Cuban style pizza.

We call the pizza we get there "The Tech Squad Special" because it is the favorite of my son and his friends in Tech Squad at Braddock: Chorizo and bacon with extra cheese. The pizzas are delicious. I've been to high end pizza places and it hasn't been this good. I suspect they make the dough fresh everyday, it's chunky but airy/fluffy and flavorful. The dough is so good that they serve little dough balls when you sit. I had a personal Neapolitan pizza and it was awesome. The server was attentive and polite. The food was made and served quickly. Will be coming back again!

I tried Marakas pizza for first time today and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. It was recommended some time ago but I live south Kendall. Today I was in the area and decided give it a try and it’s just amazing pizza taste and the service was fantastic. I hope you can open another closer to country walk area.

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for a while now and it’s always great. The Cuban pizza at this restaurant is one of the best. The food combos are perfect for my family. Today we ordered a hamburger that was amazing. We also had the ham croquettes, OMG they were so good. The only bad thing about this place is that it’s always full of people. They need a bigger place.

I have eaten pizza all over the world, and Marakas is probably the best pizza I’ve had. For sure the BEST Cuban pizza in Miami! Been going there for years and they’ve maintained the quality and great customer service. I recommend it hands down if you want to have to great Cuban food (they have a very varied menu).

Very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food is very tasty and in good quantities, well presented, at affordable prices. The best thing by far is the exceptional customer service provided; Specially by Gabriella, Ana and Daniella. They were very accommodating and willing to service my son, who is allergic to dairy. The manager, Johan, was A+, he greeted us at arrival, and was very attentive during our time there. We ordered the Ham croquettes, Pepperoni Pizza, Spanish Sandwich, The Vitanouva, Cheese-free Pepperoni Pizza for my son and a Milkshake. Highly recommend this establishment.

Amazing. We tried the ''Crema de queso'' and ''Crema Aurora'' and they were delicious. I also recommend the ''Canelones'', they were great. The photo attached is a ''Especial Vitanuova'', it was very good. Boniatos fritos! (Fried sweet potatoes)... sign me up. Servers were the nicest ever. Quick service. Very clean and pretty place. Honestly I'm very critical of restaurants, but this place is just spot on. Nothing bad, just a little sluggish on the service, but it I came during the slow shift, reccomend 9/10 just off the food.

The food is DELICIOUS, and the portions are BIG! You get a food menu that shows the menu prices if you pay with cash. They don't show you the food menu that applies to your check if you pay with a credit card, and if you pay with a credit card, the prices are slightly higher. The food is amazing. It is truly amazing. Finger-licking mouth-watering delicious. The servers are super nice. Very attentive and courteous. Water and refills are free and part of the service just like a normal Miami restaurant. The restaurant is clean, the TVs show beautiful caribbean beaches, and the atmosphere is cozy. The atmosphere makes you feel relaxed and happy. 5 stars in all areas (food, service, and atmosphere). Even if they charged me a bit more for using a credit card, I'll be back to this restaurant. It is a good option to have a nice meal with your loved ones! The restrooms are clean and immaculate, too.

My mom went to order a combo #3 which is $39 online over there is, more if you order at the location. And she asks to add meat for a topping for one of the pizzas. They charged her $16 for an extra topping so I called super mad and they explained to me that she asked for that, when my mom asked for meat “carne” they don’t speak English over there and my mom either. Very good pizza and the churrasco. The calamari actually taste like calamariiiii. Excellent customer service !!!!!! Very lovely people. Some other plates were not my favorite but I think is a personal taste. Loved the malteada. I enjoyed the stay, the atmosphere, the soft and relaxing music. They take their time to disinfect the table and chair used by previous customers. Great service!

Typical Cuban pie. Nothing to brag about. It's thick it's crispy and it's overly cheesy if that's your thing. Only thing that brothered me is the lack of sauce which seems to be a trend in most other places that serve Cuban pizza. It's worth buying again but not the best cuban pie.

I haven't tried enough of their menu honestly. Their pizza is great. Very home style. Fresh, with plenty of cheese. Their spaghetti, is something to be desired. Not sure what it is that makes it so blegh. Maybe it's too much cheese for the spaghetti. (Tried this twice, not very good both times) Their lasagna isn't too good either. However, could have been the chef that day. (I only had it once). Their garlic breads are tasty, but tiny. Like 1x1 in. Service is meh, and they aren't too nice over the phone. I prefer ordering through delivery apps instead of them because their staff kinda sucks. Restaurant itself is pretty small. Maybe 6 to 8 tables inside. Parties of 6 they include tip. They do deliver, but it's easier and usually cheaper through one of those delivery apps because they don't have an online ordering system themselves. Mostly spanish foods. They sell shakes, dessert, pizza, burgers, chicken, steaks, seafood(lobster) dishes. However, I could not locate a kids menu.

Great place for a different taste of Italian dishes with a twist of cuban favor on tradditional dishes like spaghetti, pastas, and pizzas. Spotless, cozy and friendly servers in a modern style enviroment. They have individual plates or you can order a family combo (feeds 4-5) for one great price (range 25.00 -/+ 30.00 ). I personally will be returning.

Food is good at great prices. Service is not terrible but it needs improvement. Lack of taste on the innapropiate entrainment videos they play; since crowd is mainly families. But I will give another try.

Delicious if you are looking for good food that will not put a damper on your budget this place is it. i had a combo for two garlic bread spaghetti a personal pizza two sodas for $12 I was stuffed. Italian food with a twist of Cuban comfort. Beats any fast food combo. The only down side is its a small place that has gained popularity so we had to wait about 25 mins for a table. It was a Saturday night I was not in a hurry. Worth the wait I would say Yes!

Great food. Authentic! The food deserve more than the price that we spent. We didn't give the place 5 stars because the speak Spanish although we keep telling them that we don't speak it. Anyway, it is a highly recommended place.

Been eating here for a long time and they never seem to disappoint. The food is almost always hot when served. With plenty of food given for such a modest price. An environment that is very appealing to both younger and older people. All with a perfect blend of both Cuban and American culture.

This pizza was out of control lol, it was an explosion of cheese and half chorizo half shrimp and baked to perfection the crust had the perfect amount of crunch on the edge and went great with a beer and the wings were really good too. Baked in a savory naranja agria marinade, and tasted even better when I threw some buffalo sauce over it. The service was good they said hour wait and it got here in 45 minutes.

I wanted to try something different and new around my area and I went Marakas Pizza on Coral Way. Nice location, very clean place and wonderful employees. The food: I had Combo #4 and Combo# 5… really good prices. Combo #5 brings a personal pizza, a vita nuova pasta, garlic bread and 2 cans of your choice sodas… the vita nuova pasta was really bad, I do not know if it’s pre made but the amount of Oregano they put was over whelming to any human being taste… the garlic bread were dry. Combo #4 the only difference is that it comes with spaghetti… which by the way they were watery and missing the red sauce… it’s a huge amount thought. They charged 3.9% extra if you paid with a credit card like 99.9% of the US population now a days. I didn’t have an issue with that since every table has a sign saying it… overall 3 stars… I had everything take out… I called and asked for a Manager and they put me on hold and then they told me no Manager tonight… I don’t know why they put me on hold to begin with.

Pizza is very good. However lack of attention to detail is now the reason for me lowering my previous score. After being impressed initially, Marakas pizza continues to find ways to dissapoint, whether that's too few shrimps on my pizza, to burning it, to not following simple instructions on how to cut it, to and (i wish i were kidding) NO CHEESE!!!!!!. If this place would nail down the little things, I would rate it higher till then....

Reading fellow reviewers I decided to give this place a try cause my Fave location: El polo Norte does not open on Monday. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. My pizza was raw on the inside. It did have a lot of cheese and it was greasy but that was it. Not fluffy or thick. It was RAW. The Crema de queso was nothing out of the ordinary, reheated on the microwave cause no way a crema de queso takes 5 minutes to make. I have been eating Cuban pizza since I was a kid and this is by far the least appetizing. Two stars because they are really cheap and the staff is really nice.

I ordered the pizza to the table. I thought this one was going to be different, maybe the restaurant name… Not sure why Cuban pizza always comes out half baked, you can taste the dough and can see raw dough right on top of the bottom crust.. perhaps the way they add the toppings? I dont know why but judging by the comments many people seem to enjoy half raw pizza, I can’t. The pasta was ok.

In my experience of eating at Marakas Pizza, the food is a hit or miss. Sometimes, the steak in a Steak Sandwich is great, other times it's difficult to bite through. Sometimes the bread is fresh, other times it is hard. Sometimes the fries is good, other times they are over-cooked or saturated in processed salt. Edit: Sep. 27, 204. Downgrading my rating from 4 stars to 2. After years of ordering from Marakas, I am done with them. I always order a steak sandwich, and most of the time, the steak is extremely difficult to bite through and tear. It is clear they buy steaks with gristly which are less expensive and therefore more profit for them. If you want a good steak sandwich, go somewhere else.

Pizzas and empanadas are the best dishes in this place, I always do to-go orders to the office. Because of that i decided to come and try something different. I decided for the beef pasta and was salted, i tried to eat it but i couldn't. I aknowledged the server about it and they told me i had to aware her at the beginning to do something for me. I just tried the 15% of the plate. So sadly they didnt give me any discount for it and they charged me the pasta. This is for the manager: Don't charge any customer for something the didnt like it.

Um... where do I start oh I know where I was ripped off by this place the food is good but the staff is horrible they are entitled the waitress that served me last time I went there felt entitled to give herself a tip after making us wait 38 minutes to get the check she did not check on us ever she did not come by to ask if the pizza was good or anything and I decided not to tip her because of her bad services. She then went and gave herself a 16% tip from my debit card this is a crime because I did not authorize that. I’ve tried contacting the manager twice and the eomplyees claim that the manager isn’t there until 7 or 8 PM which is strange because there should always be a manager on site.

never ever order for delivery. i called and placed my order and it took them nearly 2 hours to come with my food. i called after an hour and they said they were on their way in 5-10 minutes. i waited an extra 30 minutes and when i called them again to complain, they hung up on me. horrible service. never ordering from them again.

Initially the vibe of this eatery was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, staff were attentive and all around. This one was my favorite Cuban place until we find a nasty and huge piece of hair in my fried calamaries. Obviously, this place has problems cleaning and handling food. We later tried to contact the management, to no avail there was not a response.

I can only dispute the horrible pizza and in Cuba I ate it better, the lasagna that is in a tomato and cheese and lasagna pool has only the name. This is constructive feedback for the business. I'm providing this opinion based on my experience as a manager of other businesses, and I also drive for Uber in my free time. The business appears to be lacking management and supervision. Where is the owner? Today, 11/16/2025, I received an order and arrived at the restaurant to pick it up. I asked if the order was ready, and the employee said they'd check and it would be just a minute. 13 minutes passed, and when they finally came out, they informed me there was an issue and it would take an additional 10 minutes to prepare the order. Naturally, I canceled the order and reported the business to Uber. It's unacceptable for an employee to say they'll check and then take 13 minutes to respond, only to state that the order hasn't been prepared. This is a lack of respect. During those 13 minutes, I asked twice about the status of the order and received no clear response from the employees, who simply stated, "I don't know, that's for the person handling orders." The employees lack teamwork and respect for strategic partners. Uber is a strategic partner that provides distribution channels to help the business operate more efficiently and reach more customers. Drivers are not beggars; they're helping the business reach its clients and should be treated with respect and consideration. Uber helps businesses pay their staff during slow periods by bringing in orders and increasing sales volume during off-peak hours. It's disrespectful to keep a driver waiting without a response. When asked about the order status, employees should provide accurate information, not claim they're "verifying" when they know the order hasn't been started. Employees should be trained to treat Uber drivers as they would customers, as they represent the customer and are picking up their orders. A manager who can't see these issues isn't prepared for their role. The business owner should evaluate their employees' efficiency and ability to handle contingencies. They should receive training on treating drivers with respect, as they represent the customer and are essential to the business's operations. Key issues: - Lack of management and supervision - Poor communication and customer service - Lack of teamwork and respect for strategic partners - Inefficient order handling and preparation - Need for employee training on customer service and respect for drivers Recommendation: The business should prioritize employee training, management, and customer service to improve operations and maintain a positive relationship with strategic partners like Uber.
