Opinions de Novikov Miami
Unforgettable Dining Experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambience set the tone for an incredible night—elegant, inviting, and effortlessly cool. The food? Absolutely next level. We don’t even eat raw fish, and yet we found ourselves savoring every last bite of each dish. The duck wraps were a standout—easily some of the best in Miami. What truly made the experience exceptional was the service. The manager, Daniel, personally checked in to ensure everything was perfect, and our server, Nick, was the real star of the night. Knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the menu, he made sure we had an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful food and top-tier hospitality, this spot is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!
The grilled corn is fantastic, balancing smoky grill marks with a savory cream sauce, and served on skewers for easy eating.
Sat at the bar on two separate occasions. Sean and Steve were awesome and so was the entire staff. Delicious Sashimi and Oysters Rockefeller! Very cool vibe - and wonder sake selection! I would definitely return!
This restaurant definitely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I entered, the elegant decor set a refined tone. The menu offered a diverse selection. The attentive staff provided impeccable service, making me feel truly pampered. To top it off, the ambiance was sophisticated yet inviting, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking an exquisite dining experience.
Novikov is a truly classy, high-end dining experience. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but the quality more than justifies it. The sushi selection is outstanding, with an impressive variety and excellent execution, along with plenty of other beautifully prepared dishes. Everything tastes refined and intentional. If you’re looking for one of the best non-omakase sushi spots in Miami, this is easily at the top of the list. An exceptional restaurant for a special night out.
Amazing dining experience at Novikov Miami. The oysters were fresh and perfectly chilled, and every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The atmosphere is upscale but still welcoming. Service was attentive without being overwhelming. Definitely a great spot for a special night out.
Highly recommended lunch menu, available Monday to Friday. Great value for money with fresh, well-prepared dishes and generous portions. Perfect for a business lunch or a relaxed break during the workday. The service is efficient and friendly, so you can enjoy a quality meal even if you’re short on time. Definitely one of the best weekday lunch options in the area.
Service was really good. Prices were fair. Awesome: duck fried rice, Mongolia beef, miso soup. Duck bao bun was mid. Ambiance - decent. They had a dj. Maki sushi rolls were on the smaller side.
I had an absolutely incredible dinner at Novikov Miami! We came specifically for the duck and were not disappointed. We ordered the full Peking duck, and it was a total showstopper—the skin was perfectly crispy and the meat was so tender. We also started with a bunch of different dim sums, and every single basket was fresh and flavorful. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was lively. I highly recommend this spot if you want top-tier Asian cuisine in Miami!
Absolutely delightful dessert! The crème brûlée was perfectly caramelized, with a rich, smooth custard underneath. The fresh fruit topping added a lovely balance of sweetness and freshness. Every bite was enjoyable. The presentation was beautiful, and the quality was excellent. It was a perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommended!
One of my favorite spots for a casual or business lunch during the week. The ambiance is upbeat with good music, but still quiet enough for easy conversation. Service is relaxed, no one rushes you. The lunch menu delivers great quality, and if you go on a Friday, they offer the best wine deal in town: a bottle of Whispering Angel for $25. Food is solid (4/5), and the chicken truffle dim sum appetizer is a standout. Don’t leave without trying the Peking duck: rich, crispy, and perfectly paired with delicate sides. Valet is available, but Uber is usually easier. Totally worth it.
Absolutely loved our dinner at Novikov Miami! The sushi was incredibly fresh, creative, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a standout. The rest of the menu was just as delicious, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. A must-visit spot for an elevated dining experience.
From the moment we arrived, Novikov Miami impressed with its seamless valet service and prime location, making the experience effortless from the start. The ambiance is nothing short of spectacular—an artful blend of chic decor, perfectly curated lighting, and a lively yet sophisticated soundtrack that elevates the dining experience. Our server, Jean, provided impeccable service with an attentive yet unobtrusive approach, enhancing the evening with expert recommendations and warm hospitality. Without a doubt, we will be requesting his section on our next visit. As for the cuisine—every dish was a masterpiece. Flawlessly balanced flavors, exquisite presentation, and an unmistakable attention to detail made each bite a delight. For those seeking an elevated culinary journey, Novikov delivers in every aspect. Check out the review photos for a glimpse into this unforgettable feast. A true gem in Miami’s fine dining scene—highly recommended, and we will undoubtedly return.
Me and my parents had one of the best dining experiences at Novikov thanks to our incredible server, Alain!! We told him to surprise us with whatever he thought was best, and he curated an unforgettable meal. Every dish Alain brought out was not only delicious, but perfectly complemented the next. He described each plate with such passion and enthusiasm that it made the whole experience even more special. What impressed me most was that Alain didn’t overwhelm us with huge portions or try to push the most expensive items, he genuinely wanted us to enjoy the very best of what Novikov has to offer. After visiting a few times before, I can confidently say this was by far the best experience, all thanks to Alain. From now on, I only want to come back if he’s our server!!

Definitely the best brunch in Miami Huge buffet with some options a la carte. Delicious cocktail, amazing music and Lovely staff Thank you all for everything

I booked Novikov for my honey’s 45th bday dinner, with just the two of us. Our reservation was for 8:30, we arrived at 8:45 and waited 10-15 mins for our table. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant in Alain’s section and here’s where the magic happened. He took such great care of us, giving recommendations and great details of the menu items considered. To start, we requested our usual, two spicy mezcalitas. Next, we ordered the delicious hamachi, and the king crab maki - both 10/10. Then were the short rib bao buns and the undefeated Brussel Sprouts w/ crispy pork belly - so genius another 10/10. For the main we went with the wagyu ribeye and prawn fried rice - these were good, especially steak but the prawn fried rice was not a star of the night and that’s okay. Alain; such great personality and service. We will definitely be back to see you “Jersey”. Thanks for making an unforgettable birthday experience.
My girlfriend and I went for an early Valentine’s Day date. Our sever was Michael L he was amazing created a wonderful experience and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. I asked Michael if you could cater our experience and he did deliver. The food was amazing and the experience was better. Thank you for the great time!
I had an incredible dining experience at Restaurant Novikov, which expertly combines Japanese and Chinese cuisine. The standout dish for me was the duck, which was nothing short of awesome. The fried rice was excellent and complemented the meal perfectly. We opted for the $199 menu per person, and it was worth every penny for the exceptional quality of food and the overall experience. The fusion of flavors and the high-quality ingredients make Novikov a must-visit restaurant for anyone who appreciates exquisite Asian cuisine.
I was finally able to visit novikov for lunch after years of wanting to go, and was definitely not disappointed. They have a very reasonable three course business lunch menu that includes the Peking duck and everything I tried was delicious. Outside of that menu it can get a little pricey but the duck buns and fried rice are worth it. They also have a good cocktail menu and smaller plates as well. I'll definitely be back.
My friend and I were pleasantly surprised with their Miami Spice lunch menu. The quality is worth the cost. This is one of those Asian fusion restaurants where you want to try the most interesting/innovative dishes they have and not go for the traditional. The Robata Salmon my friend had was cooked perfectly, and the Pork ribs I had were fall-off-the-bone tender. Service was friendly and fast. Decor was beautiful.
A very different refreshing experience from our usual steakhouse adventures. First the ambiance is very similar to STK just not as dim lighting and more house lounge music as opposed to the more hip hop vibe of STK (not a knock on Stk love it) the appetizers were bao buns crispy duck , spicy lobster dim sum and spicy tuna maki roll. All were fresh and delicious but my favorite were the spicy lobster dim sum highly recommended. We had snapper two ways which was excellent our waiter was great and attentive my only negatives were sitting did seem tight a few servers bumping into passing by my chair and valet was very slow on exit but it was a Saturday night so I won't complain too much about it.
for Brickell it respects Chinatown NYC roast duck. our waiter was over the top one of the best professionals I have experienced in many many years. she was able to predict us before we could. if you are craving asian in this area: go. it will be pricey due to the location but at least the flavors and food are nut disappointing.
My only regret is that I only had time this trip for a quick lunch... and that it was way too hot to sit outside. The Wasabi Martini was insane, and I could have easily had three or four more of these, but I had a boat to pilot right after... The wasabi is more in the background providing a slight umami kick while the yuzu pineapple played the main characters. Cucumber Tataki was not really a tataki, and while demonstrating excellent knife skills, has already been forgotten. Wagyu skewers met expectations, but nothing to write home about. The meal really started to take off with these shrimp and cilantro dim sum dumplings. The crispy duck hit! This would typically be called Peking Duck, and I believe on their dinner menu it is... I can't say enough about this Crispy Peking Duck. The pancakes were like a delicate gossamer. I thought for sure they would fall apart, but somehow had enough substance to hold all the ingredients together for a spectacular couple of bites. The duck itself was perfectly crispy, and everything came together just right. Looking back, I wonder, was I just hungry that day? Because, right now, if I had to choose one dish for the rest of my life on a desert island, well, this crispy duck would be in the top 10. Desserts were also good, although I forgot exactly what it was I had, can't wait to get back here for dinner...
Every once and awhile you’ll come acrossed a restaurant that changes your culinary experience forever. Not only did Novikov deliver visually stunning culinary delights it also created an orchestra with each bite strumming a perfect harmony of savory sweetness and spice. Bravo Novikov for making an unforgettable night. Joy is an amazing chef if she’s preparing your food you are in great hands.
I've eaten at Novikov twice now over the last couple of years, the best way to describe the food is Asian with a Russian flair. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is electric, and the service is impeccable. This resturant is one of my favorite places to dine within the United States, the experience overall is fantastic!
I'm glad I gave this place a chance! The menu is outstanding 👌 including the asian fusion with a hint of local flavors like mango sauce, for example. Out waiter served us in an extraordinary manner, explaining the chef's choices and the background behind every plate. This place is a great option for a romantic dinner or special occasion.
I visited a few times for dinner and happy hour. The happy hour is from Monday thru Friday 5pm to 8pm. Staff is always very attentive. During my first visit, Oscar took great care of my group. He introduced us to the menu and gave us great recommendations. He also told us a little bit about the chef and the restaurant. Excellent customer service and hospitality. Came again and stayed by the bar this time. Everyone by the bar was helpful. Staff always looks very sharp and in uniform. Domen made us some good cocktails. From the signature cocktails, I found the L-Green-Go to be the least sweet made with mezcal and grapefruit. Refreshing! Food was delicious! I enjoyed the dim sums, especially the wild mushrooms and the shrimp & cilantro. They offer a great variety of dim sums and they come 4 pieces per order. The king crab spring rolls were also a favorite of mine. Crispy on the outside and juicy crab meat inside. So yummy! When it comes to bao buns, I only ordered the roasted duck and it was delicious. The sushi was fresh and nicely presented, especially the nigiri. The maki with tuna, salmon, yellowtail and chirashi was simply delish. For dessert, we had a few options and all of them were luscious. We enjoyed everything we ordered. There are numerous fancy restaurants with a Chinese or Japanese concept in town these days, but Novikov in particular has a nice vibe for the locals. It seems they like to take care of the locals by offering happy hour and ladies night with live dj music in a cool but chick atmosphere. Five stars for that and for all the delicious food and cocktails. Hope they continue with this good vibe.
Outstanding restaurant all the way to the top Start from the entrance it feels good, trendy, perfectly decorated and spacious We’ve been coming to this restaurant for over two years and never been disappointed The food is really good and we almost tried many different dishes and they were all perfectly seasoned and freshly prepared The service is good, fast and professional Except today April 15, 2021 we got the appetizers and almost all at the same time but the Branzino and the duck it took or EVER and I don’t know why!! Anyhow I didn’t want remove one star from the well deserved 5 stars since that was the first time it happened and I like to give another chance and see if this was accidental or just kitchen laziness Overall, one more time my guests and I we enjoyed every plate from the starters to the desserts
Wow what a scene! Beautiful people and great food all together! Top sushi Chefs and well executed pan Asian dishes. Great cocktails and thoughtful wine and sake list. Our server Viktoria was top notch and food & drink runners kept everything flowing fast! Beautiful modern room with a club atmosphere. Premium pricing worth every penny.
Miami Spice 2020: let me start by saying this is one of the better miami spice menus I have seen. There is a good variety of options to satisfy any taste or craving, and it is an excellent value for lunch (havent tried the dinner yet but I may have to take another trip back). For the pre-appetizer (4 course menu) we tried both the cucumber tataki and the miso soup. The soup was as good as any standard miso you'd try at any asian restaurant, and the cucumber tataki was surprisingly satisfying. For the appetizer, I recommend the dumpling (which came steamed and with some tasty dipping sauces), or the maki (a fresh salmon roll with a small dollop of spicy mayo on top of each piece). The shumai was good, but it came lightly fried, which isnt my personal preference. The peking duck entree was the highlight of the meal. It came with a side of "pancakes" (more like small, very thin crepes) for you to create duck tacos with. The hoisin-peanut type sauce really rounded out the meal. I would pass on the branzino, it tasted a bit bland. Overall, I lovely experience. Our server was very helpful and the runners were efficient and professional as well. I would love to go back and explore the menu a bit more. We were working so we didnt get to try any of the cocktails but I hear they have great happy hour specials so I may have to come back and give them a try! Recommend: Peking duck, key lime tapioca, maki
Great experience, twice in the same week. Came here for Miami Spice. The menus didn't feel "dumbed down" as in many other participating restaurants. The ingredients, presentation, textures and flavors were mostly excellent. It's very clear they pay attention to all the small details. The space is beautiful - not too heavy and well lit. Service was really great, both times. Friendly and very professional. Highly recommended and I'll definitely come back for the full experience.
I think they have one of the best brunches I've ever attended. So many options to choose from and well prepared food. Those endless mimosas and a few other speciality drinks included is such a nice touch! The location is also very nice with exquisite decor. Their desserts are also very decadent 😋🍰🍨🍩
Great culinary experience from the unique and imaginative cocktails to the travel inspired dishes. Your palate is questioning itself, trying to figure out, where in the world you are: sometimes in China, other times in Japan, and then in even other part of the world. The dishes are well balanced and their use of subtle spices flavors contribute to keep you on your toes, always trying to reverse engineer what is on your plate.Jude guided us in this gastronomical experience, providing us with thoughtful information and impeccable service.Highly recommended.
Definitely my favorite restaurant in the city. Upon entering Novikov Miami, you will immediately be transported to a world where modern sophistication meets timeless elegance. The elegant, dimly lit dining room is complemented by a large drinks bar and an open kitchen where highly skilled chefs prepare delicious dishes before your eyes. My favorites are Kobe sushi, caviar, lobster and duck. This modern restaurant is a unique and unforgettable dining experience. The outdoor seating area, surrounded by the bay, adds an extra layer of charm. For a sophisticated evening filled with exquisite sushi and seafood dishes, impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere, this hidden gem is a must-visit. Novikov will remain in your heart as an unforgettable culinary destination.
Wonderful place. The restaurant is nice and beautifully decorated. The menu had great options. The dessert menu was not my favorite but entities we ordered was delicious. The staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating. The cocktails were very good too. I'd definitely go back and recommend. They have a wide variety of fresh seafood.
EXCEPTIONAL RESTAURANT!! One of the best places I’ve ever sat to eat in Miami. Ambiance and flavor are both spectacular. Each dish was fresh, presented neatly, and served with the most professional premium service. My favorites were the wasabi martini and the king crab legs. Both so surprisingly delicious with unique flavors. The show stopper was the dessert; “caviar” tiramisu. Aesthetically pleasing with the texture and flavors to match. Very iconic haven’t seen anything like it. All in all a very one of a kind place in the heart of Brickell. You have to try it !! Novikov will NOT disappoint ! 😍😍😍😍
Top 2021 Favorite restaurants in Miami! *Only voted by me and my partner * These dishes are out of this world!! So good that I actually built the confidence to comfortably try duck for the first time here! My partner has tried duck many places and he says it's literally a waste to order duck any place else other than Novikov!! I've never had king crab the way I have here, it's hard to just order one!!! So many options to choose from and they're all soooo good!! This is honestly one of my favorite restaurants in Miami so far. It's a high end spot, so come in ready to spend$$$! All of the dishes we have ordered have been impeccable! Our second time at Novikov we had a bit of a bad experience at first with one of the waiters. I addressed it to the manager Deivys and he literally took matters into his own hands and assisted us the rest of the night!!! That literally turned the whole night around for us, not sure if he understood how grateful we were for his service as well as accommodating a dish for us as well for the inconvenience. We gladly spent $$$ with his service!! He was actually the one who recommended the duck so how could we say no!? If you're looking for a perfect date night location, or great dinner with some friends! This place is perfect both vibe & food!!
We had our first lunch in Miami at this place, we had nothing but a wonderful time and meal. Our server was nice and extremely polite. However not on top of her game as we were asked if we wanted anything to drink. We tried sashimi, sushi, baby squid, and chicken and mushrooms rolls which had an amazing smell but we were disappointed with the flavor. Everything else was exquisite we couldn't stop eating. Good selection of sake and the cocktail list was pretty good. Amazing place to eat and enjoy the view.
Celebrating my brother in laws birthday and what a place!!! Spacious, awesome view, great service and follow through, excellent suggestions and food was incredible both in taste and presentation. Our sommelier Marlon Toro was the best, he tended to all our wishes and his suggestions of delicacies off the menu were right on. If you’re ever looking for a place in Miami where you will be well fed, have fun, and great ambiance, look no further.
WOW! WOW! WOW!!! This place and experience deserves 10 stars! My friends and I came here after having some depressing appetizers at another restaurant in the hopes of finding some delicious food. Due to Covid, all restaurants in Miami were required to have outdoor seating only, but Novikov had MULTIPLE fans to combat the Florida heat to make it bearable. Our waiter, Michael, was absolutely fantastic and was hands down one of the best servers I have ever had. He was friendly, energetic, knowledgeable of the foods and drinks, and excited to give us recommendations throughout our meal. We describe different foods that we like and he was able to perfectly pick out countless sushi rolls and hot dishes that were devoured! Our drinks were deadly because they were the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing, while hiding the flavor of the alcohol just enough for you to forget you’re drinking! We arrived at the last seating time available and needed to get our orders in within 30 minutes due to the curfew, but Michael had a suave way of rushing us without making us feel like we were in a rush and I think that has a lot to do with his confidence in the menu. Every single item that we tried was out of this world and I literally have nothing negative to say about our entire experience. I would HIGHLY recommend Novikov to anyone looking for some uniquely incredible food. But MOST IMPORTANTLY ASK FOR MICHAEL TO BE YOUR WAITER!!!! He will make the whole experience more enjoyable by giving impeccable food and drink suggestions allowing you to focus on enjoying yourselves! He even managed to bother have the kitchen make me up a cute little birthday dessert plate 5 minutes before curfew just to make the experience that much more special!
Had the black cod, beef fried rice, nigiri, and the truffle salad — every single dish was outstanding. Our waiter took the whole experience to another level with top-tier service. Novikov delivered across the board. Highly recommend.
Very nice place, was not busy on a Sunday night. As soon as we walked in, our server Jose greeted us and asked if it was our first time. Since it was our first time, Jose walked us through the whole menu and recommended all of his favorites and popular menu entres. The food was beyond amazing, everything was cooked to near perfection. Would recommend to try different things, instead of focusing on one dish.
To say perfect is an understatement, you have to truly appreciate it how every dish is an experience. I was told there's a 100+ staff working tailoring this unique journey. Thank you Alin for a beautiful VIP & fun service. Thank you management for accommodating our large group. Recommend this place a++++
I can only say good and great things about the food. The kitchen team really knows what they are doing. The food was delicious, and the presentation was great without trying to do too much. It just worked. I have to thank the wait staff as well as they were very courteous! This is a must go place for Asian cuisine in Brickell and Miami in general.

This place is pretty incredible. I have had the chance to try lots of great restaurants and I have got to say this place doesn't do something exceptional yet it does most things extremely well. Great professional high standard service, very good cocktails. Incredibly detail oriented and just all around great. Sushi 🍣 menu is superbe, the seafood 🦞 my personal favorite the miso black cod that I have had at several Nobu restaurants around the world really didn't disappoint here, same as the duck fried rice and simple classics like the Singapour noodles. The fact that they offer a Japanese and Chinese inspired menus and both are very well executed is very impressive to me. I have rarely seen such all around good execution. This exquisite experience is well worth remortgaging your house for lol.
Gorgeous Resturant with a lovely view from outside. Nicole was fantastic with recommendations and efficiency on service. The food flavor profiles were excellent and the portions are just enough. The kitchen/chefs take their time with it and plate it gorgeously. Thank you for a lovely experience!
What an amazing brunch!!! We had brunch this past Sunday at Novikov, when we arrived we were seated right away. Our waitress, Mariana came over and introduced herself, she also explained the menus to us. She was so kind and helpful, she answered all of our questions. We chose the $199 per person menu and it did not disappoint! The crab, sushi, lobster, duck and wagyu was amazing and so flavorful. The drinks were also really good, my favorite was the lychee martini. The service & food was outstanding. I highly recommend this brunch. Thank you to the amazing staff for providing such an amazing brunch experience
Magical, quite possibly the best restaurant we’ve ever visited. Expensive, yes, but we pay not only for food, but also for art, freshest products, exceptional service, and overall experience. We’ve been a few times, have been bringing our visiting family and friends. Never disappointed!
The food was so delicious , we tried almost everything , the taste as good as in Japan, my recommendation is scallops truffle, lobster, miso cod, taro tuna, truffle salad, tempura vegetables and insane caviar matcha tiramisu, the staff could me more polite and helpful but even our dinner was exceptional
Dang good experience. Plan on spending money, don't be cheap when you come here. The octopus and edamame could have been the best bite of the evening. The dim sum, amazing. Brussel sprouts were super flavorful. Peking duck buns, order them as a cheaper option to try the duck it's delicious and a good amount of duck. The sushi chefs work magic with these nigiri pieces, each bite was phenomenal. Again drop loot and enjoy the experience.
Just outstanding. Exceeded expectation, food was fresh, hot, FAST, consistent and sets a high bar. Flavors and freshness as bold as a samurai’s blade. In my history of cooking in New Orleans fine dining, coming to this MUST HAVE in Miami blew me away. Not to mention the staff- professional, punctual, quick, and CARING. Thank you Jan, amazing server, positive, happy, and a warm presence. Not to mention it was his first night as a server, but my perception said he was a seasoned vet. Thanks Luis, very cool GM. Everyone was great. I’ll be back. - Ryan
Business party of 7 and it went beyond smooth! The food was delicious - ordering many different dishes was delightful and made it extra special! The service was impeccable and the suggestions were spot on! I loved this restaurant and it's ambiance, food and service. I don't tend to give out too many stars especially in the hustle and bustle of the Miami restuarant scenes but this one earned every star on the map. Excellent!

Honestly, I had high expectations after hearing so much about this place from my wife, but it turned out to be pretty underwhelming and overpriced. • Tempura was fine, nothing special. • Edamame was plain and forgettable. • Noodles were bland. • The mushroom beef bowl with truffle sounded promising but was just okay. I was really hoping for that wow factor, but it just wasn’t there. I might give it another shot to see if things improve, but as of now, it’s definitely not my first—or even second—choice.
Excellent Asian Restaurant in Brickell. Very good food. Trendy and noisy atmosphere with DJ but the music is not too loud. Big menu, so I’ll come back to try some other things. I recommend!!

Wait staff was a bit overwhelmed. Our waiter has tables outside and ours inside. Busboy brought us Evian water, short poured the two glasses, walked away with about a fifth of the bottle, and he never returned with the remaining water or offered us any more water. Ironically the table next to us (another 2 top) had their glasses filled to suit and the balance of the bottle was left on the table. These were small, but noticeable service flaws that management should have picked up on, if this table was important to them. Here's to 25M photo views and counting and the next revisit 🥂
It's one of my favorite places for lunch, by the water, delicious food and so many options. They offer excellent business lunch all year round, and currently, their Miami spice menu is even better. Definitely recommend duck and fois gras dim sum, half duck, miso yuzy black cod, and crispy duck as well. Deserts are very pretty. And I love that serve tea in a pot. Tiny pet peeve the tables look kind of old. Other than that, ambience is very nice and lively.
Dinner last night here was amazing , the server was super attentive on a Friday night , the food was delicious! Only thing is the price is up on the top I ordered a little bit of almost everything from the menu to try . The dim sum chicken was my favorite , the toro sushi with caviar was delicious melt in your mouth, the pork bun was my favorite dish, the crispy rice wagyu and tuna both good just very ridiculous over priced I wouldn’t order that again . The wagyu noodles was really good , and the yellowtail new style Sahimi was good! Dessert I would pass only thing is beautiful presentation.
I came here for lunch, and it wasn't busy. The hostess was nowhere to be found, waiting.... I sat on one of those the sofa/couch seats, before sitting down I noticed a huge stain on the sofa. This tells me a restaurant is not taking itself seriously and not paying attention to details. However my server was quite good, attentive, despite the place got a lot busier in the end. I had an espresso martini that was quite good at $24, was charged greygoose and espresso separately. Well I prefer a proper martini glass not a coupe glass. I had the Peking duck. I have to say it was quite good and closest to the Peking duck I had at the famous one in Beijing. Skinny duck not some fat duck and the wrapper is not a tortilla, it is a very thin wrapper. I am quite happy with it. Music was loud and without taste.
It is very upscale Asian fusion restaurant, the crowd, the atmosphere is really top notch! So dress to impress and get ready to spend some $. However, despite really, really high quality products, to my taste, the dishes were missing some flavor. They just simply didn't met my expectations. Again, it is just my opinion and that's why only 4 stars. But to be completely honest - their deserts deserve full 5 star rating!
Had a reservation for Saturday night. Walked from the Intercontinental Hotel and it was right around the corner. Very busy spot. So glad we had a reservation. We were seated right away and the ambience is very nice. Lots of bright colors inside the wait staff was very friendly, and our specific waitress was very attentive. She made some great suggestions. The food was fantastic! The edamame was very flavorful. The chicken and mushroom eggrolls were absolutely fantastic. The soup was so delicious. The sushi was so fresh and the snapper two ways was just as good. We really enjoyed everything. The lychee martini was fabulous and strong. I would absolutely come back!
Beautiful looking restaurant and great food. It was a bit crowded and extremely loud so it was difficult to have a conversation. The service was overall good but for this level of a restaurant and the prices they charge they should have a door person opening and greeting. When you walk into any restaurant you need to be greeted not walk yourself over to see if they address you. It's a bit pretentious that they don't do that. The music was a tad too loud and really feels like a nightclub not a restaurant. Now the most important part of the restaurant... the food, it's what we come here for. Drinks are very overpriced and not worth what they charge. Even a coke comes in those little 8oz glass bottles that you need to order like 5 at some ridiculous price. Start with some spicy edamame and salted shishito peppers. Pecking duck was excellent, it's a must try! ✅ Ultime spicy tuna roll was fire 🔥 Hamachi yuzu truffe was yummy. Dim sum spicy prongs moneybags and the shrimp cilantro ones were so good! Very tasteful and perfect sizes. 😋 Sweet and sour mango chicken was also extremely good! Szechuan pepper beef was not too good 🚫 Snapper 2 ways was also delicious and perfectly made; our waiter offered to make it with 2 different preparations and they were both super good! For rice and noodles try the Singapore noodles and any fried rice. You can even ask to get the fried rice in a mixed combination. Very good and recommended since the main dishes don't come with sides. For dessert try the creme brulee and the chocolate lava cake. Overall I would maybe come back but not anytime soon, there's so many restaurants to try.
Solid choice for downtown fine dining. Roasted duck in my opinion is average at best. But I’ve been a life long Peking duck lover so I’ve eaten best ones in the world. The sweet and sour chicken is the best. Short rib dumpling is good. Overall a little over priced but you are paying for the location.
Good food, ambiance was good. Server was awesome! Definitely recommend. I got the duck fried rice and it was good. Not much else to say

We went to this restaurant because it has a high google reviews score for Chinese food. However I left quite disappointed. We didn’t make reservations as it was a Tuesday evening. True enough the restaurant was practically empty with only 3 tables occupied at around 7 PM. The girl at reception didn’t smile or made us felt welcome in any way. No smile when we asked for a table for 4 people. “What’s your name…. Your surname… your mobile number… “ Suddenly the restaurant phone started ringing, she picked it up without saying excuse me or anything to that effect. She started talking over the telephone for at least 5 minutes while I was standing in front of her. Finally she hung up her phone and said followed me. We were then shown to our table and given the menu. We looked at the menu, decided what we wanted to order and then had to wait for a long time before a server finally came. Remember at that time this large restaurant only had 3 tables occupied so the servers could not have been busy. When the server came, again we were not made to feel welcome. No smile, but just someone who was not interested in his job. The food did came pretty quickly and it tasted ok. No complaints from me about the food. We ordered two signature cocktails but both of them were not good. Waste of money in our opinion. During our meal the server did top up our water or being extra ordinary. However when we paid, the invoice as usual already included the 20% tips. That’s ok, but what upset me was that he wanted more tips before we paid with our credit cards. If we got good service I might consider tipping more but certainly not in this case. When the server saw that we didn’t tip more, his face turned black and stormed off. I think the manager of this restaurant needs to be changed. He or she must be rubbish at managing the staff. Come and eat here if you want to leave feeling angry.

Was there for dinner last night (Thursday). Overall, pretty mediocre experience. Service feels rushed and impersonal, which might be caused by the fact that a 20% tip is automatically added to your bill. The food came really fast, with some dishes standing out (the spicy edamame with charred octopus, the black cod gyoza, and the dessert platter). The prawn moneybags, hamachi crudo, peking duck and pepper beef were a little disappointing, and would not order again. Overall OK place, but wouldn’t go out of my way to come again, given the experience and food is below the standard of the Novikov in London.
We had high expectations for this place given the reviews. And it looked interesting and whimsical when we entered. But it didn't live up to expectations and we don't plan to return. We had the Miami Spice menu. There were two of us for dinner. They paraded us around the restaurant and we finally stopped at a table for six. It sure wasn't an intimate dinner. Service was fairly prompt but a bit rude. I asked for the Miami Spice menu and the waiter told me to scan the QR code on the printed menu. Of course the Miami Spice menu wasn't online, so he had to bring us paper copies. We ordered cocktails and made our selections for each of the three courses. The cocktails were interesting and good. I liked the pouring at the table for the old fashioned. For first course we had the Thai dumplings and the shrimp bao. The dumplings were good... flavorful, well presented. The bao was really pretty but it lacked flavor and the textures were overwhelming - super soft sticks-to-the-top-of-your-mouth on the bread and super crunchy too much breading on the shrimp. It didn't really taste like anything and the crunch vs softness seemed to compete versus compliment. The shrimp on the bao were so hot that they burned our mouths. For the main course one had the tiger prawns and one had the steak. The steak was good, the best protein of the night. The tiger prawns, served in some carcass, were tasteless, undercooked, and they had a strong smell (were they getting old?). For dessert we had some mix of ice cream, pistachios and a slathering of green stuff. It was a confusing dessert and sadly the best part was the pistachios. The place was very noisy, Service timing was odd. Dishes were served one at a time which caused one of us to wait for the other's dish before we ate a course. We had the same dessert and they came out together. The waiter never seemed happy to be doing his part though he appeared and disappeared at the right times. We are glad we tried Novikov and we appreciated the Miami Spice tasting menu as it let us sample several items. None of the food was compelling enough for us to return particularly given all the fabulous restaurants around.
This is an Asian fusion restaurant. Nice decoration. Overall the food was very good, not excellent. My favorite plate was the Pekin Duck and the mango sorbet. Service was not very good. Even though we had a reservation we had to wait to get seated and also our server was not very friendly. My sister has celiac desease (not just gluten intolerant so she does get really sick by eating anything that has gluten) and they have little to no options gluten free. I suggest they add more options gluten free as well as to differentiate the container of the soy sauce gluten free versus the regular version. Both containers are identical, same color and size so not friendly to distinguish.
The restaurant isn’t really relevant anymore. The food and service are pretty average, and the atmosphere and music just aren’t interesting. Overpriced bistro
A somewhat disappointing experience. Food is good, not great. Shishito peppers, soggy, fried rice passable, Snapper 2 ways came breaded in little pieces (weren't told about breading) and then 15 minutes later a fillet... it was good but nothing special. Problem was the menu said $80 and when the bill came it was $110 with no explanation. One guest's appetizer showed up after others meals came with a mumbling excuse from the waiter. Her entree never came and when we asked the waiter, he gave an phony apology saying he just forgot and offered nothing. Desserts were like from a casual chain restaurant. Drinks were good and the atmosphere is just ok... nothing special but everything is with special prices 💵 There is better in this part of Miami so it gets my thumbs down 👎
Novikov Miami did not live up to expectations. The food is still good, but the place feels overrated, and the service is surprisingly poor for this level. Despite a service charge already included in the bill, the waiter insisted on tips and even followed us to the exit to demand them, with a total check of over $400 for two people. Overall, disappointing experience mainly because of the service.
We had some late lunch at Novikov and our overall impression was good. A few minor details such as kitchen closing 10 minutes after we got there so we were rushed into ordering. Also service was kind of slow at that point, it seemed they were in a rush to close the place. We ordered a good amount of food and we really enjoyed it. We felt though as the sashimi portions were a bit overpriced for the quantity. I would highly recommend the nigiris (o toro bluefin, salmon, mackerel), the whole Peking duck, some makis to share (ultimate spicy tuna, salmon & avocado) and the chocolate cake and guava cheesecake.
Let me start by this place had a lot of hype from different people & To me personally stayed short and I don’t agree on all the hype. Food & service was good not great as I thought it would be. Kinda let me down a bit. It was a Thursday night and it should have been really popping and it was not. Food was good but not out of this world . So I’m sorry I can’t give 5 stars if I’m not feeling it or tasting it. The wasabi martini 🍸 is very good if you like spices. Must try.
Nice modern decor with techno and lounge music. Crowded and loud. The service is ok but should be better for this place level. Food is mediocre at best. At midnight, the staff turned on main lights signaling that it’s time to get out. most nice places don’t kick out their clients on a dot.
Great food but a rude server, very loud music on a Sunday morning Last Sunday morning, we decided to try Novikov Miami for brunch, taking advantage of the Miami Spice deal. We arrived with high hopes and were greeted warmly by the manager at the entrance. However, our experience quickly shifted once we were seated. The restaurant boasts a modern, sleek design, but it felt impersonal and far from cozy. Despite it being a Sunday morning, the atmosphere was more akin to a nightclub than a relaxing brunch spot. The background music was so loud that we had to yell to each other to have a conversation. Initially, the staff seemed friendly, but our server’s rushed and impolite attitude soon became apparent. We were required to order all four courses of the pre-fix menu at once, including dessert, which felt unusual and rushed. Additionally, opting for the unlimited prosecco-based brunch drinks seemed to irritate our server, especially when we ordered a third flute. Despite the service issues and loud environment, the food was a highlight. The miso soup was fairly standard (and tiny), while the hot and sour soup had a nice, spicy kick. The salmon maki, chirashi, and black cod were of high quality and well-executed, with each dish beautifully presented, showcasing the chef’s skill and attention to detail. Service issues and the loud, club-like music marred our experience. We felt rushed throughout the meal, and our server's lack of eye contact made us feel unwelcome. The dessert course added an amusing twist. I ordered the crème brûlée, which came with a small scoop of ice cream, while my companion chose the chef’s choice of ice cream and received just a single scoop, identical to the one on my crème brûlée. This inconsistency was odd but funny. While the $30 Miami Spice deal was worth it for the quality of the food, the poor service and excessively loud music made it clear we wouldn’t return at full price.
Food was great we did the Miami Spice dinner and they were great at customizing our orders to my many allergies. It was extremely hard to get a hold of the waitress which kinda ruined the vibe since we were in a hurry. We had to track her down to pay the check. However definitely recommend the Miami Spice experience here food is exquisite.

We went to Novikov for a friend’s birthday. While we waited for our table at the bar, the service was great. Our martinis were delicious. When we sat down, the service was immeditely horrible. The flatware was almost thrown on the table for each of us. It felt like we were rushed in the ordering process, no one gave any suggestions or did any disocvery about the table and attendees. The food was delicious, I must admit. Our sashimi and nigiri were fresh. Dim sum was delicious as well. We ordered a whole pecking duck, which was outstanding. We decided to order same marinis we had at the bar and when I say they were terrible, they really were. A high end restaurant should not be serving luke warm martini. When asked to chill it, they did so with annoyed expressions on their face. The rest of the group decided to order the same martini after trying mine (when it came back from the freezer). The waitress said “it’s not going to be cold as hers, just saying”. How is that a standard for a $30 drink? That same waitress kept throwing looks at us and could not care less about our experience. In the end, we were disappointed. Birthday dinner was not ruined, but it certainly left an aftertaste of “we are not coming back”. If the restaurant would like an advice, it would be fix your service immeditely. In today’s world, it is not enough to just offer overpriced dishes and just be one of the clubstaurant big names in the city.
Our waiter Jude was really rude, he was fine at the beginning. Then he asked us what are we gonna order and he was 'surprised' we didn't order one thing of each part of the menu, when he told us that everything was to share....Then he got mad and threw the bottle of water. He got a really bad attitude. We order a beer he never brought it. They already charge you 20% of service and he asked us if we need change 🤣 when he already reacted like a loco. Of course we didn't leave more money because of him and he went to our table and throw us the 5 dollars 🤣🤣 vete a tratar la ira hermano but the food was good!

This was my third visit to Novikov and, unfortunately, the first truly disappointing one. My friend was celebrating her birthday, and I insisted we go to Novikov because it had always been a top-tier experience. When we arrived, no one acknowledged the birthday, even though we mentioned it when making the reservation. Our waiter seemed distracted and rushed, barely looked at us, kept asking us to repeat our orders, and didn’t offer any recommendations on what dishes were best. The food this time was quite mediocre. My truffle rice was extremely salty, I could barely eat it. No one offered to refill our wine glasses when they were empty; we had to flag down the waiter each time. When we ordered dessert, we asked for a candle to be placed in one of them. The response was a dry “okay” (still no friendliness or birthday greeting, unlike in other restaurants where they make an effort). I don’t know what happened to Novikov, but I have no desire to return. The service was poor, the food was average, and it left a bitter aftertaste on what was supposed to be a special celebration.
Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere; my waiter, who was in the bar area, was good. Highly recommend the hamachi yuzu truffle roll, quite flavorful. My only area of discontent was the automatic service charge of 20% applied for a party of 1; like, who does that? I tip for great service, and it was my intention to do so; the addition of a service charge would be enough reason to not return.
Ordered delivery, so I want to be fair that this may not reflect the full in-person experience… but everything arrived hot and on time, so I don’t think temperature was the issue. The sweet mango chicken was tough and honestly pretty flavorless. The Singapore veggie noodles were really bad. I also got the miso soup, which was fine, but nothing memorable. With these prices, I was expecting something a step above average Asian takeout and it just didn’t land. Maybe it’s a different story dining in… or maybe I didn’t order the right things to appreciate the menu… but this was a big disappointment.
I recently visited the restaurant and found that it had a pleasant ambiance with enjoyable music. The drinks were decent, but unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. The soup was served cold not just once, but twice. Additionally, the sushi arrived within just 2 minutes of ordering, which made me suspect that it was pre-made and stored in the refrigerator. It was also served very cold. The salads were average at best. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant as the food quality does not match the high prices.

We made special Brunch reservations 2 weeks in advance, which they canceled 1 hour before the reservation time, with no explanation. A quality restaurant does not do this too their clientele. No …
I am so disappointed by this restaurant the manager is so unprofessional. She really doesn’t understand that business is all about customer service and how you treat people. I have never in my life …
Awful dining experience. Server was very rude and unfriendly the whole meal. Moreover the Diet Coke was just sparkling water and when asked about it he just rudely dismissed it and didn’t care to make it better. Food is decent but the service is abysmal.
This was my second visit to Novikov. The food was fine, what disappointed me the most this time was the service from the waitress, Gretel(with her hair tied back). She did not speak to us in a polite way, but practically shouted. Even with so few tables occupied, the service was slow. The waitress assigned to us, Gretel, spent time chatting with other staff while we had already finished eating. I had to raise my hand to get her attention so she would bring the check. After paying, I asked for a receipt, and she practically threw it on the table, turned her back, and left without saying goodbye. It was one of the most disappointing service experiences I’ve ever had. I invite the restaurant manager to review the video footage in order to see the attitude of this waitress, Gretel. A restaurant that charges such high prices should be more careful in selecting its staff.
We did not ask for the check, yet the server brought it anyway. Even after I clearly said we were not ready, he came back to the table three separate times with the POS machine trying to close the check. This kind of pressure is very disappointing and far below the service standards expected from Novikov. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
My experience at Novikov was terrible from start to finish. I ordered several king crab dishes — the gunkan, the crispy rolls, and the gyoza — and all of them fell flat. The king crab crispy rice was completely drowned in sauce, almost like they were trying to hide a fishy taste. The duck was extremely gamey, and the seared toro was honestly awful. The only dish that tasted decent was the salmon toro. When the best part of the night is the lychee martini, that says everything. To make things worse, the service was just as disappointing. Our server was incredibly slow, barely checked on us, and I practically had to beg just to get a glass of wine. For a restaurant that positions itself as upscale, the service felt careless and uninterested. Overall, an overpriced and underwhelming experience. I won’t be coming back.
Today was my last visit to Novikov; I’ve loved it all these years but thanks to Kevin O. which was my waiter this evening April 26, 2025. Loved every moment of it until one of my cousins had asked him if the service charge was included and he had declined saying it wasn’t. The moment I asked for a receipt it was already included. What was even more baffling is that he kept arguing back and forth with me about service charge wasn’t the same as a tip charge. I hate being lied to my face! Total disappointment! Also we had ordered white wine to celebrate our med school graduate and I had asked Kevin to please put the wine closer to us and he decided to put it on our table without ice 🫣 definitely common sense in some people aren’t there at all. I love the establishment and food but I do not tolerate a liar! Thanks Kevin O! We could’ve left an extra tip but with lies it won’t happen! Low class act right there! Make sure to ALWAYS check your receipt before paying and tipping extra (which I don’t mind if service is authentic as the food is) but you might get a liar like Kevin O. ———————————————————— Lovely establishment. Cuisine is a combination of Japanese & Chinese. Came to celebrate a graduation and everything we ordered was delicious. Make sure you make a reservation and if you’re a big group call upon if you want to be sat all together. Open Table won’t allow you to make a reservation for a bigger party. Cocktails are strong so it’s always a good thing! Huge Wine List variety LOVE IT! Brunch on Sunday’s are my favorite here! Servers are a little slow but atmosphere for a night out is perfect! Parking is better to Valet because good luck on trying to find parking in Downtown Miami area Highly Recommended!
