My favorite pizza experience in Miami! Looove the creativity with fresh ingredients and their salads are just as spectacular as their pizza’s. Their square crust is always the perfect crispy & doughiness combo and their rounds are never soggy. Love this space and the owner’s fun energy.

Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had in Miami. No comparison. I am from NY and have tried the best of the best… this place is the real deal!!I tried every dish and each was as good as the last. Pizza / Salad / Dessert… 100% highly recommended. Staff is friendly and excellent service.

Alexandra Linik

Okay I’m from New York so I know what good pizza is. But wow I was shocked at how good old Greg’s pizza was. Their sandwich was just as good and I’m not sure what they do to their chicken cutlet but it’s the best I’ve ever had. The service is just as good as the food. Their wine selection is also awesome. One of the best dinners I’ve ever had in Miami.

Wow. this pizza is good. I ordered their OG pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni is sliced thin but still cupped up during the baking. The crust is excellent! The dough is relatively thin in depth, but this crust is hearty and holds the weight of the toppings without losing its structural integrity, even after waking it 20 minutes home in the heat. To my surprise there was still a light crunch in the crust when I got home. The outer rim crust is nicely charred without a lot of obnoxious air bubbles, and it was crunchy. I wish they sold slices to go because I'd walk by often just to grab one.

Your next pizza experience should be, sorry, MUST be here!! After, so, so much hype, a review was in order, but even more so to try the food. I'll be the first to admit that unlike most people, I have never Ben a pepperoni fan, but after trying the O G roni slice, square sourdough slice with mozzarella, pepperoni & hot honey drizzle. Without a doubt, one of the Top slices of pizza I have ever had! Just a perfect blend of sweet/salty/spicy! Also tried the round slice of cheese(outstanding), and my favorite, the Veggie Supreme ( tomato, mozzarella, maitake oyster mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, olives and pickled banana peppers). The crust is so light, airy and crispy, just the perfect base for the quality ingredients. Friendly, helpful staff. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Menu constantly changing/evolving make every visit an adventure. Please, this must be on your next pizza outing, you won't be disappointed!

We stopped here on the first day of our trip and it was by far a benchmark we could not surpass with all the other visits to local restaurants… nothing measured up. We got the chicken Caesar hoagie and the square pep… which was by far more than enough for two people. But the pizza is a show stopper. The pizza is so crunchy on the outside and the texture of the crust similar to focaccia bread. Also super warm thank you to the staff. Jackie (sorry if misspelled) runs this restaurant with Greg and many other awesome staff. She was possibly the sweetest human we met on our vacation. Thank you again!

A
Alejandro SB

FANTASTIC. Yes the pizza is obviously great, but so is everything else, specially the ceasar salad, crazy good. I personally liked the round pizza more than the square, but both are great.

Danielle Schmergel

Loved loved Greg's. From the square O.G roni pizza to the meatballs (made with veal and pork cheek and brisket) and to finish off with the amazing The GR3G'S LECHES- olive oil cake, stracciatella, sicilian pistachio, fennel pollen ( please note: it's more savory than sweet) Get the Chicken Caesar hoagie. Unreal! I loved it all! Will be back for some more! With love from Broward County!

I’ve been here a few times with my son, Daniel. Tonight we met Jackie. She was SO sweet to us! The entire experience is absolutely heavenly! 😇 Amazing pizza! 😋Amazing wine! ❤️Everything is SO GOOD! I live pretty far away (Palmetto Bay), but whenever I’m in the area I HAVE to go to Old Greg’s. Every pizza is amazing! I love the shrooms pizza, the zucchini pizza, the chicken wings, the salads are both amazing! The wine is delicious! It’s probably a good thing I live far away. I’d be so fat if I lived near here! 😳🤣 Honestly, after sharing the salad and eating one slice, I’m full. The pizzas are enough for 3-4 people. The salads are enough for 2-3 people. The staff is so friendly! They work so hard! Please give them a nice tip and show some appreciation. This is a MUST TRY restaurant! To me, it’s the best pizza in Miami.

L
Lumen Bigott

Delicious pizza! The Shroomz square pizza was a delightful surprise - light and flavorful like focaccia. Super friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!

G

Got my hands on Old Greg’s early in the pandemic, and it was love at first slice. The texture of their naturally leavened crust steals the show - airy, yet so crunchy. The OG Roni is a great pie, but my life changed when I tried the Shroomz pie. They make the perfect combination, especially with their new Illegal Mezcal Frozen Margs, which I’ve been craving for a week and a half since I last had them (especially with this summer heat). OG, the people love you. If you’re new to Old Greg’s... You MUST follow them on Instagram @oldgregspizza - this is where you’ll find out when new slots are open to order. Trust me, it’s well worth the wait.

D
Dante Wilson

Old Greg’s was amazing, I loved everything. I had the round pepperoni whole pie. Light, airy, crispy and full of flavor. If you don’t get there early you will probably miss out, defiantly get there 30 minutes before whatever time they post on their Instagram account if you want a chance at getting pizza!

B

Super place. Expensive. Good pizza, deep dish or flat. They have a vegan pizza. Cool vibes. Love the bathroom disco ball. Natural wines and beers. Fresh salad lettuce.

The best pizza and best restaurant experience Ive had in a very long time. We were a table of 5 - ordered 3 pies, Caesar salad with chicken, chicken wings, and breadsticks. Everything we ate was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The dining experience was so down to earth and felt like I was at a friends house. The owners were beyond nice and even shared some dessert with our table. We had an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and a crème brûlée style dessert and both were delicious and exactly what we needed to end our night. Would definitely recommend coming! Space is small but worth the wait and hype. My husband and I will definitely be going again!

Great pizza obviously. Meatballs and the garlic cheese bread is just silly how good it is. Family friendly and the tram there is extremely warm and welcoming. Recently they had an unexpected issue with one of their ovens and they were trying to figure it out which caused some delays.if you see some recent reviews complaining about timing or customer service i would not give them much weight.

M

Detroit style pizza is solid! Very good! Best I have tasted in South Florida but the price is just stupid. 37$ for a 6 slice pizza. No pizza is worth that. But with that said I am glad I pad for it once.

K
Ken Tannenbaum

Great and creative pizza. Try the Cukes and potato salad for phenomenal creation. Some of the pies on the menu are there for only a period of time; for example currently there is a French Onion pizza. Always friendly folks serving you.

Here’s everything you NEED TO KNOW ABOUT Old GREGS PIZZA - The wait is RIDICULOUS. WE WAITED over 45 mins for a regular square pizza. Which also came at a whopping $30. But hear me out - the wait WAS soooo worth it! The squares were soft and fluffy, super cheesy & filling! I’m from New York so to find this little gem was amazing! They were understaffed the day after New Years, so I totally understand the long wait. But if you have time and patience to wait, I highly recommend! This pizza will not disappoint! Ps. have some Italian wine while you wait 🤌🏽

M

One of the best round pies in Miami. Their spicy honey glaze is fuego! Also, besides the food the vibe here it great. Nice chill outside seating area, and inside has a nice little bar and plenty of large seating areas. Add to your list if you haven’t already. 5 star round pie.

L
La Sirena

Loved the crust ! you can tell that the team is putting a lot of effort in the making of it. Also I think the branding is one of the coolest in miami. Next time will seat at the bar and have beer and pizza. Btw. I wish I could leave a 1 star review just to receive an answer from the owner ! Love the way she takes care of reviews ! Keep getting better and better !

So good. The zucchini square pizza. Restaurant salads can be boring but this was perfect. Order at bar, served at tables, casual and comfy. Boiling hot inside from the oven so dress lightly.

Love Old Greg’s since they started as a Pop Up serving out of a lounge in design district. Square Pie is so good the sourdough taste amazing. Round pie is also really good definitely up there with the likes of Miami Slice and Eleventh Street pizza. Their always changing desert specials of Bombolinis are always delectable especially this past weekend Turkish Coffee-sito was ever so delicious. I am always bringing in friends that have not tried OG and they always say it’s worth the hype I tell them about especially when I told them I had to wait a month during pop up days.

M

The absolute best! This may be the tastiest pizza I've ever had. The crust/dough is out of this world. It's like ciabatta and pizza dough had a baby and created what is Old Greg's pizza dough (insert drool). I've only been able to try the the tomato pie because I'm vegan but my boyfriend is not and even he raved about the tomato pie. You know it's good vegan pizza when a carnivore likes it. He absolutely LOVES the pepperoni and the hot honey to dip the pizza in. I HIGHLY recommend it! Trust me, you need this in your life.

After hearing so much buzz about Greg's Pizza, I finally ended up going on a whim. Upon my arrival, I immediately felt the upbeat vibe from the array of patrons to aromatic scents. The lady behind the register was patient in taking orders and set the tone for the rest of my experience. The Cesar Salad was like none other and perhaps one of my favorites in quite a while. The O.G. Roni pizza was a suggestion by many and it did not disappoint. It is refreshing to see locals flourishing in their venture. Can't wait to go back!!!

F
Fred Frigerio

Old Greg’s was great. Pizzas are big but you can order by the slice. You go up to the counter, order, get your number, sit and they bring it to you. The bombolini for dessert were great just check their web site since it changes daily while supplies last.

Don’t really understand why this place doesn’t have 5 stars. The pizza is delicious but this Caesar chicken hoagie is one of the best subs I’ve had in Miami. The bread is perfect and little pickled banana peppers take the flavors to another level.

J
Josh Greeson

Pizza was top 3 pies I’ve ever had Crust = perfect cheese/sauce ratio was just right Vibes are great Cheesesteak Hoagie was great but wish the bread had been toasted

J
Jake Fletcher

Now that you can order online, this is a 5 star pizza situation. Their square pizza is on a focaccia type crust that I can't get enough of. Quality cheese, sauce, and ingredients in the right proportions. I will say, I did pay $5.50 for 4 oz. of burrata and only got 2 oz. So I probably won't order burrata from them again. But I'll still give them 5 stars because their pizza deserves it and maybe that was a mistake. Cheers to a long future for Old Greg's 🍻 - The Pizza Robot 🤖🍕

Great pizza, amazing wings, and even better management. I can see why this place doesn’t take rsvps and lives up to the hype.

N

The pizza/food is always amazing and the girl behind the register was very nice and helpful. Greg’s wife Jackie was very nice too and let us try some wines while waiting.

S

Delicious farm to table style fresh pizza and salads. Expensive for pizza but it’s top quality and it is Miami after all. Good option for dairy free

C
Chelly Peyrefitte

This is an excellent spot for a date night or for getting together with friends. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The pizza is delicious and very well prepared, I recommend the square pie, because it's a perfect balance between a crispy, crunchy crust and a soft doughy center. The prices are on the higher end, especially for pizza, however they are absolutely worth it. They also have salads and wings, as well as other delicious options. Paid Parking is available in an adjacent lot. They have wheelchair access and they're kid friendly as well. They are definitely worth checking out!

M

My first time ever leaving a restaurant review, because our experience at Old Gregs was that wonderful. We stopped in for lunch on a weekday, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The natural wine selection, pizza, and hoagies were incredible - not to mention the service, which was A+. We topped it off with some of their oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, which were BEYOND. So good. Highly recommend this spot.

This place is a hidden Gem. We're visiting from Las Vegas and we just happen to stumble in this pizza restaurant and it was the best choice we made to get something to eat. The food was fresh ingredients were fresh and the taste will have your mouth watering. Everything here is good but the pepperoni pizza with the fresh basil and hot honey was beyond amazing. The customer service is one of the best in the city. Jackie took care of us and was amazing this place is 100 Stars

K
Kelly Rock Gomes

Love this place. If you’re looking for a great vegan pizza this one is amazing. They put just the right amount of cheese. Every other place in Miami treats vegan cheese like regular cheese and it ruins the pizza. The staff is also awesome. I gotta give it up to them. They go out of their way to make you happy. :) if you want regular pizza it’s also top notch. My friends who aren’t vegan rave about the other pies.

C
Colleen Durfee

Love coming here! It is our go to pizza place for a date night or takeout. Jackie is the bomb, super friendly, knowledgeable on wine, and fun! Great music too. The pizza is so good and I think their local salad is my favorite salad at a restaurant in Miami. Must try this place if you haven’t yet

A
Anthony Roman

O.G. Roni is ALWAYS our go to. And don’t forget the extra HOT HONEY! That B slaps 👋🏼. By far my new favorite pizza spot

M
Marcos Carbi

A truly amazing place with incredible people, delicious food, great music, and an awesome atmosphere. The owner Jackie is so beyond hospitable, it felt as if I was eating at my mother’s house. And Greg’s pizza’s was drool worthy. Highly recommend 10/10.

M

Great food, awesome hipster, downtown atmosphere! The pepperoni square pizza was crunchy and delicious and so were the chicken wings! Also tried the brownie and the cheesecake and they were both incredible. Will definitely come back!

Went to old Greg’s on a Saturday night. I heard good things about the pizza but not only did the food exceed my expectations but so did the staff. From taking our order, tasting the wine to go with our food to the food it’s self. It was an amazing experience Now to the food. The pizza is amazing. I’m not a big fan of going to the design district and my wynwood party days are behind me. But I will go back here to eat if I have the chance. The sauce pairs so well with the fluffy square pie. The polenta crusted wings really make having wings a new experience. The desserts was fantastic. My favorite cookie is a oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and so far this is the only restaurant I’ve been to that had it on the menu. I’ve heard that lines form for old Greg’s and I can see why

S
Steve P

Legit slices, squares, and more. The ingredients are so fresh (especially the garlic and basil) and the sauce is definitely one of a kind. The spot is quaint but has a flair that makes it stand out from many other pizza places. Service was great too and we felt the prices were justified for the portions. Outdoor seating is available as well.

S
Sabrina Beraja

Best pizza and vibes in Miami. Love the thick crust square pizzas. Mushroom was our favorite. Brownie was also incredible. Thank you Jackie and Greg!!

L
Lauren Melamed

If you don’t know by now, Old Gregs is the SPOT for the best pizza in Miami and with good reason. Since they opened during the height of COVID, they’ve been crushing the pizza game like no other. Despite how crazed they are, they never fail to forget their roots, quality of pizza and are some of the most genuinely kind people I’ve encountered in the industry.  I went before the Heat game the other night with my husband and their front hostess was so gracious in getting us situated within a short time span and even treated us to complimentary glasses of natural wine and sweets to celebrate our recent nuptials. Those moments of hospitality in Miami are rare and it is why I will ALWAYS give my business to Old Gregs. Plus their take out is equally delicious.

R
Richard Brej

One of the best pie spots in Miami! VAMOS! Seriously great spot, great ingredients and interior. Super cool bar inside with unique designs and vibe. Small and hidden but it packs a 10/10 punch. Square pizza is the fav and the traditional round pie is still bussin’

S
Sandra B.

Very good pizza, loved the music and customer service. Glad we came early the line got very long after we sat down. So happy this place is here for amazing Roman style pizza. :)

M
Martin L

For sure one of the top 3 pizzas I’ve ever had. Bread has a crunch but is really stretchy too, generous on well seasoned sauce, cheese is legit, and the pepperoni was crisp around the edges. It’s too damn good.

M
Matthew Jacobson

Came here on a trusted recommendation, confused by the overall rating and the square pizza was great. Sure the service might be a bit different but the pizza was great and that’s why I came. Craft beer was good and happy hour 5$ option. Maybe a bit pricey for what it was but still great.

A
Alex Leonard

Pizza prices have gotten outta hand, therefore, if I'm going to pay today's prices for pizza it BETTER be excellent. And Old Greg's is exactly that. Hate to leave such a great review because I know it will only get busier but the secret is already out on this place. The pepperoni with HH is absurdly fantastic. But the square pies are also great. Everything is so just go if you haven't already.

K
Kristinedidit

Yo.... if you can magically get your hands on some Old Greg’s, consider yourself one of the lucky ones. The demand for these pies is INSANE and after trying two different ones, I can confirm that the hype is SO WORTH IT. Update: I still feel the same as day one! Love Old Greg’s

They have a small selection of wine and beers. Absolutely great Caesar salad. You must try the cukes and tater salad. I culinary experience. The pizza needs a bit more cheese and less well done. But overall good. They have many selections of pizza. You order inside they give your number and bring out your food. Overall, the experience was fine. Before I wrote this for you, I looked at the reviews. Lots of one star reviews regarding a special needs child. I am concerned about that. Not paying employees. Also the service charge added to the bill. That is still happening. It’s a questionable practice. I’m giving 4 starts for the food and service that I received.

M

This place is amazing!!!!! The food is delicious, we ordered the Ceasars salad hoagie and it was out of yhis world, the chicken was thin, crisp and hot and the salad had just enough dressing. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza wich was awesome as well. The owner wich is the one who took our order was so nice, she recommended a great wine wich was a little pricy but it pared perfectly with the food. Perfect place for a date night.

I can't believe it took me so long to try this pizza place! It's great, the restaurant is nice, good music and in general the experience was amazing. The pizza is awesome, great selection of ingredients in pizzas from the menu. I do think it's a little bit pricey but it's not crazy compared to the options near by.

T
T Razz

Had the veggie supreme pizza. It was a good pizza, but not the same as when I last tried in 2020 when they first launched. That pizza was amazing! The one today was missing toppings (pearl onions and tomatoes) and did not have the same flavor. Not sure if they changed the recipe or were having an off day. I believe they're still doing a soft launch, so I will check them out again to see if it improves.

R
Rodrigo Gonzalez

Service was friendly, location is cool. Had the square/thick crust pizza. The flavor was good but the pizza was unevenly cooked. I’d try it again but was disappointed this time. I wonder if they’ve ever even drank Baileys out of a shoe.

B
Bridget Hamilton

The pizza and sour dough crust is outstanding but I don’t want to listen to pornographic & profanity rap! I was appalled as families are dining here: it ruined the dining experience as the food is outstanding. Choose cleaner music ….

A
Alx Stevens

Placing an order can be a little slow, but the knowledgeable and friendly staff, fast kitchen and amazing pizza easily make up for it. You can’t go wrong with the og roni and be sure to get a bombolini before they sell out for the day

M

So I lived in Detroit and have strong ideas of what Detroit pan style pizza should be (and no Little Caesars didn't invent it). Based on my memory Old Greg does a fair job of creating the exterior crust but it isn't nearly cheesey enough to make it Detroit style It's a nice pizza although I thought the dough would have a little more tang to it. Overall I enjoyed it once but wasn't impressed enough to go back.

A
Alan Hsieh

Ordered takeout from online. Odd how we had to wait 30 mins after ordered pickup time. The pizzas themselves were solid. Got the square pizzas- pepperoni and sausage. Pretty expensive for pizza. Can feed maybe 2-3 for each pizza. Overall tasty pizzas but did not live up to the hype

s
shirley “shirlz” f

I didn’t get their famous pizza but their chicken Cesar hoagie always appears for me on IG. I can’t speak on customer service since I had it delivered. The hoagie was huge & fulfilling. Enough to share if you want to keep it light. I loved the kick of the Cesar! So good. The sandwich had enough dressing to my liking but I do appreciate that they sent an extra side of dressing. The chicken cutlet however was overcooked and it’s not a cheap sandwich so I took away from the sandwich so i took off a star for that.

B
Bianca Drevensek

I’ve been dying to try this place for MONTHS. I think I made the mistake of not going for the pepperoni, but the mushroom was yummy. Just wanted tomato sauce. The dough is more similar to focaccia than a true Detroit-style slice.

D
Deanna Dupont

This was a solid pizza. I ordered the round pizza. It was good but the crust was floppy. Other reviews said that it remained crisp. The pepperoni was high quality and delicious. My only other issue is that there was almost no sauce on the pizza, so I mostly tasted bread. The location is nice and the service was great.

C

Lovely service and great vibe but pizza is only ok. The regular round slice has tough bread that seemed water base so it has a bagel or english muffin consistency while their square sicilian style pizza has more yeast rising so it taste better but the pepperoni does get burn more cause it is closer to the heat source. I really enjoyed the spicy honey in the OG roni square pizza but did not like the $39 price tag for 6 square pieces. They automatically charge you a 18% service fee but you can have it removed. Since I was sitting in the restaurant I accepted the service fee. I also ordered a regular cheese slice (round) to compare against other pizzas and honestly found the sauce too salty, bread too bland and hard, and ingredients would fall off the pizza too easily. It is a small place but bathrooms are right by entrance and there is a bar/cashier area to the left side where you order and pay. You sit at a table with your number so they can bring your order. If I do come back, i will just order the spicy honey sicilian pizza (OG roni). Rest is ok but not worth the price tag.

Someone save this restaurant from itself! I’ve been a fan of this pizza and the hoagies since its inception (way back when they were slinging pizza outta Brad Kilgores closed joint in the design district during covid). Imagine my excitement when they opened their own brick and mortar! I was one of the first in the door! However, since they opened I’ve seen the service fall off as each month passes. The food remains excellent and I’ve told SO MANY about it, but I’m now hesitant to recommend it to anyone based solely on the service… or lack thereof. Whether it be forgotten items, items coming out of the kitchen in the wrong order (pizza first, salad next, then an app), items forgotten totally (intentionally mentioned twice), or the unnecessarily long time it takes to order (I’m all for friendliness, but there’s a limit when we’re hungry!). I love this place, and its story, so it absolutely crushes me to see review after review call out the poor service. I’d happily pay the prices they command, if the service was up to par. Someone, PLEASE, save this place from itself.

D
David Emelianov

The pizza here is fantastic, and the owner is super nice. But anytime I get take out from here, something goes wrong with the order. I ordered a salad, they forgot the dressing. I ordered breadsticks, they forgot the dipping sauces. The worst thing is that the restaurant doesn’t even have a # you can call. They say they respond to text messages, but I never get an answer. Even though the food is solid, I just can’t keep going back after this. Getting home hungry and then having to drive all the way back to the restaurant really sucks. I hope the owner sees this review and can make some changes to improve takeout.

Yet another entry into Miami’s “designer” pizza fad. Quite frankly disappointed after all the hype. It’s good pizza, don’t get me wrong. But not worth $40. Definitely more appealing to tourists than to locals. Points for the disco ball in the bathroom.

Update: you can now order via door dash for delivery/pick up (even pick up has crazy fees). So if you wanna splurge on a pizza go for it. Still think square pie is better. Everything here is fine just pretty expensive for pizza. The customer experience is quite possibly the worst I’ve seen. Every pizza place in the world has figured out how to allow people to order pizza from home and pick it up. For some reason this place can’t - or doesn’t want to. You wait in line on 2nd avenue with cars and busses spitting exhaust - then you order and wait some more. I guess in a social media dominated world the hype matters more than anything else. Maybe one day they decide to figure it out but until then the best you’re gonna get is no CRAZY lines on their ig posts. Thanks but I’ll wait for no lines. As far as the pizza goes it’s fine but there is much better pizza that you can call ahead for on 11th st. Or drive north to Steve’s.

How I Journey

Our first round of this pizza was about a month ago, we waited 4 weeks to get an appointment but had to reschedule because the gas line to the kitchen had stopped working. We are flexible and understanding, so no problem. We arrived the following weekend and ended up eating our pizza outside on the few tables they had available, the service was really good/friendly. Reasons I gave this a 3 star: Overall the group really enjoyed the pizza and thought it was something different than they were used to. I see some reviews saying it was like Focaccia bread, they do make this type of crust in Italy, I had it in a little coastal city just this Feb and it was almost the same. It's just a different style of pizza we don't typically see here in the US. The wings and the garlic knots were okay but we really did not like the dulce de leche dessert (it got left behind). This pizza experience is expensive because you are forced to buy a package deal, I would prefer if we could have just tried the pizza. The price is also a bit steep for pizza that you can't really enjoy inside a nice restaurant.

Had to try their pizza out after hearing how good it was. Went in for dinner and ordered a Cesar salad and a pie (it kinda looked like a deep dish pizza) The pie was a little pricey but it was huge.. We got the pepperoni and omg … it came with some delicious drizzled honey on top that had a kick to it. Loved it so we decided to go back for a second time , the door was opened and we walked in - the lady that was working at the time physically pushed me out the door while I was holding a 6 year olds hand , saying they were closed. I found this very distasteful and rude. Made me not want to go back.

I was super excited about my order for Old Greg’s. I made the order 3 weeks in advance. But the pizza really isn’t that amazing. Too doughey and not enough sauce. The most exciting thing about the pepperoni was the hot honey.

Round pizza not served on cookie sheet, crust arrives soggy. Frozen wings undercooked, arrived cold, inedible. Breadsticks were good and crispy. Meatballs undercooked, cold. Did not look like picture on website. No menu, paper taped to wall. No table service. I do not recommend.

We made reservations and still had to make a line to place our order and then we are given a number to place on our table. We had to wait for a table, no idea why the place has reservations. I ordered a Cesar salad, paid for it and we got a cucumber salad with potatoes. I told a waitress walking by and told her it's not what we ordered, she tells us they had no Cesar salad, yet the guy at the registered supposedly knew that still charged us for a salad they didn't have and took it upon themselves in serving us a cucumber salad. Totally disappointed, too much hype for this little place. Pizza, nothing to brag about.

While the pizza was indeed tasty, the service and overall management of the place were nothing short of disappointing. Firstly, their website and front door clearly stated that they were open at 2 PM on weekends. Excited to try their food, I arrived promptly at 2 PM, only to be informed by a lady that they would open at 2:30 PM. I pointed out that their door and website both stated 2 PM, to which she replied, "It's on our Instagram." I don't have Instagram, so I had no way of knowing this. I reluctantly agreed to return in 30 minutes. I returned at 2:30 PM, only to find a handwritten sign stating they would open at 2:45 PM. At this point, my patience was wearing thin, but I decided to wait. They finally unlocked their doors at 2:50 PM. What's more frustrating is that the lady who initially told me 2:30 didn't even apologize for the inaccurate information. As a first-time visitor, I expected some guidance on how things worked. Unfortunately, there was none. I took a seat at a table, assuming someone would take my order, only to be informed by a fellow customer that I needed to wait in a line that had formed near the counter. I initially thought this was the takeout line, but it turns out it was where you placed your order. The lack of clear instructions was bewildering. The service overall left much to be desired, and it's clear that the staff needs better training and communication. It's disappointing, especially considering the prices aren't cheap. However, where this place excels is in the pizza department. The pizza was undeniably delicious, which is the only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one. If you're willing to endure the poor service for the sake of great pizza, this might be worth a visit. But be prepared for a frustrating experience overall.

I was excited to try this place because my friend had told me this was the best pizza in town a couple years ago. I normally get Miami Slice or Lucali so I wanted to see what the hype was about. NEVER AGAIN!!!! This pizza was ok at best, it took them TWO HOURS to bring out the pie, and the service was the worst service in the world. Never going back again.

I ordered through Uber eats. So I didn't get the full restaurant experience. But. The sandwich is very Bread heavy if that makes sense like the bread that they chose is super thick compared to the amount of chicken that they actually give you. Putting whole peppercorn on a sandwich is never a pleasant bite and they charge four dollars for a 4 ounce portion of extra Caesar dressing, once I measured it straight out of the container I had been charged four dollars for a single tablespoon of Caesar dressing. I feel that the bread that they used to execute the sandwich could be a little softer to the bite, and overall the chicken Caesar sandwich is not worth the 20 something dollars they charge. I ended up not eating more than two bites of the bread and the amount of chicken that was on my sandwich probably equaled one very small cutlet, which I believe is a butterflied breast? The lettuce had no Chris whatsoever and I understand that they had put dressing on it but it seems like it's been sitting in dressing for a couple of days or something. The dressing itself was really good though but... Not very satisfied... at all. It also really realllly upset my stomach this morning.

I ordered the square pepperoni pizza on Uber eats and also paid for expedited delivery or whatever so was hoping to have a nice hot pizza arrive. Pizza arrived medium warm and did not taste fresh, almost as if it had been made a day prior and reheated… really sad as I’ve read and heard so many amazing things about old Greg’s. Big bummer on a Friday night. Pizza definitely was not made fresh upon my order. Sucks… as I really wanted to love this local place.

The food here is amazing and delicious. However...what's so frustrating about this place is its consistent instability. It never opens at the same time. And, if you ever want to check anything ahead of time (so something involving a call) their phone number doesn't work. On 2-3 occasions I've gone with friends to eat there when they opened and we've had to wait (at minimum) an hour before they ACTUALLY opened (so one hour past when they were supposed to open). Today, I tried to surprise my interns with a bunch of their pizza (because its delicious) but my order was randomly cancelled. When I tried calling to figure out whether it was an issue related to the things I ordered (so that I can place another order but just avoid the things that aren't available) or whether it was an issue with the restaurant itself (perhaps staff etc) I realized the phone doesn't work. It's just so frustrating because this kind of issue has happened way too often. </3.

Been meaning to go here so I went with a bunch of friends for my birthday last night. Food is great but overpriced and service is non existent. Supposedly workers don’t get tipped out either. (They charge a service fee to all orders) Would be much better if there were actual servers and if prices took a haircut. Also whoever manages the Google account arrogantly calls out customers for voicing fairly true opinions, definitely not the vibe. Old Greg’s you guys make great food! But please take accountability and improve so more people come back!

I was looking forward to this very well marketed pizza experience and was unimpressed by the product. The garlic knots were yummy, so was the cheese on top, hollandaise, and marinara. The pizza dough was very good too, it was crispy, chewy and airy. The table we sat at while waiting for our food was quite dirty. In my opinion, in times like these, places should be extra vigilant about cleanliness of their seating areas. I also bit into two small pieces of something that might have been wood in my shroomz pizza? I’m not sure what it was, but it was unbreakable.

Super overrated pizza Don’t go there It looks good on pictures but papa John’s its simple better I would never go there or encourage people to go there First they told us that it would take 1Hr to eat. Which we agreed After 1hr the server comes in with the wrong pizza, not only it was wrong it was COLD like if it was ready and waiting for at least 20min We ordered 2 pizzas, one cheese pie (sauce was acid, not enough cheese), one OG roni (pepperoni square), the last one came round and Cold, when I asked for them to please get another one. They just gave me the same pizza that was previously bitten by us but heated. I asked for a refund of the pizza which they said it was going to be made afterwards by the manager/owner (it hasn’t been done so far) After we ate what was a horrible pizza, the owner came out to explain that her entire staff resigned before opening. And offered us a choice of two leftover pizza lamb or mushrooms. We accepted the mushroom pizza. Which was a disaster. It was cold and tasted mostly a burnt focaccia. If I could give 0/5. I would. I took pictures. But again pictures don’t describe how horrible this pizza place is. PD. I guess they read the review. I got refunded for the cold pizza and service

Terrible service! Owner(Jackie Richie) was so insensitive to us after our autistic son was not quiet enough for "guest satisfaction". We were essentially invited to leave and after we got upset she tried making it better by giving us our food for free. Don't miss the point people, an establishment like this does not deserve your hard earned money. While their pizza is decent, vice city pizza is much better. These people need a class on what good service is.

My very first review ever... Great business model, awesome marketing, impeccable customer service: everything was prepared on time and all went well with my order. YET not worth the hype! Crust is too thick which makes it seem like you’re having a focaccia bread with pizza sauce on it. Chicken isn’t as good as people claim it: no taste without any sauce. All (***all men***) who were there when I picked up my order were raving about it! Typical American eatery to be enjoyed by the new millennials who have no concept of good food and men who have lost their taste buds! I hope this helps all who know great food!

BEWARE the DMV is quicker than this place. You will have to wait HOURS. I have been coming here off and on. Every single time I have needed to wait almost 2 hours for ONE freaking pizza. They are so understaffed and don’t seem to care to even fix the issue at hand (it’s been over a year and nothing has changed). Don’t even bother if you’re ordering online.. you’ll never receive your pizza. READ your reviews.. hire more people. The service is TERRIBLE.

No service at door .. We had to sit ourselves get our own menus and ask for service. Upon sitting down we noticed that just a cheese pizzawhat's thirty eight whopping dollars.. I leaned over the glass and noticed That the kitchen had a child running around. There was only two women serving alcohol taking money and they pizza at the same time. Me and my brother just walked out and decided not to either. I myself, I'm a pizza Maker, a professional pizza Maker. I've been making pizzas for 15 years and I have seen expensive pizza Up to forty dollars , so that way. I have never seen a place charge up to almost forty nine dollars for a single pizzait's unheard of. Lastly, the place has terrible lighting. You can't even see the menus. My brother had to pull out his phone. And use a flashlight to be able to see the menu upon which we notice was extremely expensive. We decided to walk out and just go to a steakhouse

Waited 45 minutes past my “due time”. Saw the owner yell at an uber driver to just cancel the order if he did not want to wait the ridiculous wait times. Then demanded the host remove the uber driver. When I finally got my food, my breadsticks were cold. Orders can take long, just fix your systems to reflect accurate timing. This isn’t a restaurant that opened 5 months ago - why has it not been improved? However, I can say this has ALWAYS been an issue. Time again I am reminded why I avoid this place.

For being in the hospitality business they sure can’t take constructive criticism. So I commented on Instagram that the pizza was good, but they could have been more courteous to those waiting in line for over an hour (after waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes in line, we had to wait 20 more minutes for the pizza once you placed your order). And they went ahead and blocked me. Haha! Not even a response. I noticed they deleted every negative comment too. If that’s the way you treat your patrons, then, never going back. And to think I was about 10th in line, poor people behind me couldn’t even take their pizza home in a proper box, as they ran out of boxes. And pepperoni. And it was supposedly only take out. SMH.

Restaurant was half-full and there were two people in line in front of us. Despite that, it took us 30 minutes to order from Jackie (allegedly their owner) and she was extremely patronizing. The chicken caesar sub was excellent, but the pizza was very soggy and underwhelming. Even though the sub was worth coming back (the pizza was pretty awful), Jackie was so unbelievably rude and patronizing that I can’t support her business.

J
Jaciely Cartagena

Wish I had the chance to try the pizza but service sucked so bad I lost my patience. Indoor decor is super cute and cozy but when there's one person in front of you and the server takes 30 minutes to take your order it doesn't seem worth it.

Consistency and quality have fallen off of a cliff. During COVID, Old Greg’s offered Miami incredible pizza and a unique experience. Since opening up their restaurant, the quality of the food and the dining experience has tanked. 45+ minute wait times for a single pizza, 18% surcharge added without any table service, and mediocre pizza. I’ve dined with Greg over a dozen times, but it will likely end there. Do not recommend.

I decided to do this review after the horrible experience we had the last time we were there. The issue was very simple, since our pizza was all burned at the crust (except for one corner that our friend was able to eat) and all we did is let the waitress know. The waitress response was what you would expect; she said "no problem we will remake it." After waiting a while she came back to the table and told us "I'm sorry but we are very busy so it will take at least 20 more minutes to get you a new pizza;" we told her it was fine since we had no choice. At this point since she never removed the burned pizza and we were really starving, we started picking a little bit out of the top toppings of the old pizza, making sure not to touched the burned parts, since we all know burned food is not good for your health and could even be poison. After waiting even longer, the waitress came back and told us, "the chef said he won't make you a new pizza because you ate the first one," which was completely not true with the exception of the only corner not burned. My husband went to speak to the owner and told him we didn't eat the pizza and to please remake it for us; his response was: I won't remake it and you know we're is the front door so get out of here! My husband came back to the table and told us the owner wanted us to get out. My friend and I decided to politely go talk to him and asked him to please return our money back so we could leave; which he agree but in the end we never received credit back in our credit cards. The bottom line is that the owner (he is the one cooking) not only gave us a burned pizza to eat, but refused to remake it when his waitress was the one who indicated they would do and in the end after promising he would refund our money he never did. My husband and I have dined in all types of restaurants all over the world and have never experience such rudeness liked we experience from this place, therefore I can only say that I can never recommend for anyone to eat or order food from this place!

We waited for 1 hour and 28 minutes for our pizza before walking out. At least a warning would have been acceptable. But, nothing. I wasted two hours of my life in this literal oven waiting for a pizza that never came before deciding to just get my kids and walk out. What a mess. The inside has no ventilation and there are only like 3 people working in the front. If you don’t give a damn about service give this place a try. Maybe you’ll have better luck than me. But imagine having to be lucky to enjoy a good dining experience??? I’ll pass.

S

They are disrespectful to their customers. After an hour of waiting for our pizza, it was obvious they forgot about us. People make mistakes, but offer an apology and let the customer know how you will make it right. That’s not what they did. Instead of owning up to their mistakes, they(Jackie) said “we don’t want your ‘bad vibes’” and told us to leave. They charge a mandatory gratuity for this kind of service. Good luck getting your food. Zero sense of accountability. No pizza, steak, sushi is worth being treated this poorly. This is my first 1 star review, It was that bad. I only write reviews for good restaurants. This is not one of them.

After waiting over a month for this pizza night, we were met with so much disappointment. A group of five of us each shared in this feeling. The pizza was basically a giant focaccia bread with sauce and melted cheese and subpar taste. One review was that Pizza Hut would have been better. Not to mention that the drink order was messed up and we were given frozen Palomas instead of margaritas and three of the group hate grapefruit, so that went to waste. Our expectations were definitely not met and I would not recommend this to any of my pizza loving family or friends. The following morning I was sent an email saying that their sourdough starter was off and so was their mixer which would result in a new pizza. None of my complaint emails or phone calls have been returned. A refund for at least the drinks would have been the least they could do.

Since they opened this location, I was always advocating for this place. It’s countless the amount of friends to whom I recommended this place. The food was always good, and the staff was pretty good. I moved to another state, and yesterday after driving 10 hours with my spouse, two kids, and a dog, we were craving to eat again in this place. We placed our order online for two vegan pizzas one hour before getting to the site. Once I arrived, the cashier told me they no longer had any vegan cheese. First mistake if you don’t have you shouldn’t take one hour to tell a customer you don’t have it. You should have a better inventory system. And I understand that this can happen, but since they open, you will find days they don’t have vegan cheese. Because I knew it, I asked the person from the cashier to cancel and refund my order. He gave me a receipt, and I noticed that the refund was wrong once I got to the car. He refunded me only 48 dollars, and my order was more than 80 dollars. I came back and asked the person to verify the refund. And the person started to be rude to me and said that I should check my bank account. Sorry? No, you should check your system to see why you only refunded me less. After a few minutes, he handed me a receipt with a refund of ZERO dollars. I said something was wrong because if you do the math is still missing a few dollars. He said this is all the refund. The second tip is that you cannot have in the cashier someone who cannot understand basic math and has no empathy with customers. You don’t need to like all people in the world, but you cannot be impolite and aggressive with your wanna stay alive in the hospitality industry. Maybe the person also doesn’t like Asian people like me because of the sarcasm about understanding math, and the “Good luck with your review…” shows how much help this person will need to succeed in life as a human being. He told me the refund would be available in 24 hours, but he couldn’t confirm or print a receipt, which is insane. The third tip, train your better employees. They should know how to refund an order. It’s basic for a restaurant to do it. And if they cannot be respectful to customers, please fire them. There are a lot of nice people out there looking for jobs. Until now, I don’t have any confirmation of my refund, and of course, I will never come back to this place or recommend it again. I hope you can last doing business like this, or maybe only people with your disgusting mindset will still be a customer. Because there are also plenty of good pizza options in Miami, please don’t waste your time or support a business like this. And if the service is going down, the food will probably be on the same level soon.

I had really high hopes for this place, but what ruined my whole experience was the food poisoning I received after eating here. I never knew food poisoning could be so bad. I ate on a Sunday afternoon and I am writing this on Wednesday morning and I’m still recovering from that day. I can’t eat, and just the smell of food makes me want to yack. I’m not sure what caused this to happen but food borne illnesses don’t just appear out of nowhere. All I had was a slice of cheese pizza, some Caesar salad (which was very overpriced for what it was), and what I think the culprit to all this was: the meatballs. Both me and my boyfriend said they tasted funky but didn’t admit that till later when we were both suffering from an upset stomach. Which later turned into us both throwing up for 10+ hours. I’m writing this to warn people and basically to tell you to eat at your own risk. I would never want someone to go through what we just went through. . .

BEWARE. The pizza is not worth the price AT ALL. Terrible service with the same rude hostess, but they charge 18% “service charge.” Inconsistent opening times, long waits, sometimes they run out of pizza. Sometimes they sell by the slice, other times “the oven gets too hot” for single slices. If you want to xharge $40 for a small pizza, you better provide a good experience for your customers.

Went this evening with my group of friends to check out if it was worth the hype. It was not, unfortunately. We had been looking forward to this all covid lockdown as their digital marketing on the gram is next level. But their product does not match the influencer edited photos. No crunch too much flop. Too bready not enough cheese / sauce. Also, wings were over fried. Process of acquiring pizza is sketchy as well. I’m all for supporting local but man they make it a mission to get. Lastly, $90 for two small ‘zas and some over fried wings just aren’t the right price point for the quality. I hope to come back around and see them right the ship. But until they work out the kinks, una estrella!

Folks if you’re questioning the worth of the wait, I can assure you not to waste you’re time. A rating of 3.7 is there for a reason. Upon arrival our pizza looked appetizing yet burnt. As a native New Yorker I expect to bite a soft cheesy and juicy slice yet instead my husband and I risk breaking a tooth off from how hard the slice was. Not sure what’s going on with the dough department but it needs to be addressed!! Use of condiments are good, at least it was tasty. Moving on to dessert we order tres leches. Expecting a savory treat, it felt like I had put a spoonful of salt and olive oil with a splash of milk in my mouth. Had to leave three orders of tres leches slightly untouched on the table. A round of applause to the marketing department, the box and Insta are great but hey, can’t judge a book by its cover right?
