Opinions de Pamela's Restaurante Chileno Miami
Pamela’s brings the flavors we miss from Chile. I don’t live in Miami now but every time I visit the city, I get my fix of Chilean food, deserts and wine. Last time, I bought a torta de merengue con lúcuma which was to die for, the humitas were amazing, empanadas are always delicious and got assortment of breads (marraquetas, dobladitas and hallullas) The staff is very attentive and nice. Thank you Pamela and team!
I have been coming to Pamela's since I was a child with my family, including the old restaurant in the same little area. Both my parents are Chilean and I have been to Chile many times and this is as close as it gets to food from over there. My recommendations are always the empanadas and any of their pastries. They have a small section like a market to pick up typical stuff from over there. I usually go for a congrio frito with pure (homemade mashed potatos) since its not a typical fish you get at any other restaurant. There are a couple of things that could improve but thats just the location. Parking can be an issue since the lot is small and there are other businesses. Also the restaurant does not seat that many people so when it is busy there is some wait.
Amazing service at front counter as well as when you stay to eat. Very friendly servers, quick and good personality. The food is amazing and at a great price. I got the churrasco a lo pobre which is skirt steak, two fried eggs and fries. The food is simply amazing, great big portion and the dessert was great. Best Chilean restaurant and I think the only in Miami-Dade.
Delicious Chilean food at affordable prices. My friend discovered this hidden gem. It doesn't look like much from the facade, the food and ambiance inside is what matters here. The waitress was friendly and allowed us time to ponder over our choices with no rush. Everything we ordered was delectable and surprisingly affordable for a restaurant. Neither plate exceeded $10
I had the churrasco, several kind of empanadas, several alfajores and torta de hojaldre. Everything was tasty. The churrasco is small but it makes it up with the quality of bread and homemade mayo. All empanadas were delicious. The only thing that could be better is making the beef empanada with actual pieces of beef instead of ground/minced beef. All desserts were excellent. Service was outstanding. Prices are fair.
Love this place, really feel like back home. Cant wait to go back!!!
Great restaurant, Kimberly was so friendly, great service.
Authentic Chilean Cuisine! Been going there for years and till this day the service and food have never disappointed!! So delicious!
Such a lovely place! My partners family took me there for authentic Chilean and I was not disappointed!
Excellent service. Amazing food and delicious empanadas. Highly recommend
I went there today and had a great experience with both the service and the food. I ate grouper in a seafood sauce and it was excellent! A nice size filet which includes a flavorful sauce of shrimp, bay scallops and mussels very tasty. The prices are more than fair for the portion and quality. Parking was a little tough but I would definitely return and recommend as the food is delicious and very well priced.
Best Chilean spot in Miami by far!! The food is amazing and authentic, the service is A+. They make you feel like family always. Every dish I have ever tried has been amazing and I have been coming here for over 12 years. Everything is always clean and tidy. The market is my fave! We always get our bread there for the week, it is a must try!
Authentic Chilean Gem in a Strip Mall Setting Don’t let the location fool you—Pamela’s Restaurante Chileno is a hidden treasure. The service was warm and attentive, and the food? Absolutely excellent. I had the ceviche, which was fresh, plentiful, and bursting with flavor. The cazuela was comforting and rich, and the seafood empanada hit all the right notes. To top it off, the Chilean beer was crisp and delicious—perfectly paired with the meal. OMG and the dessert, milhojas was to live for!! A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Chilean cuisine! Would definitely go again and highly recommend.
Authentic Chilean food, delicious and tasty. We went with a Chilean couple and they told us the dishes are totally authentic and flavors of their country. We loved the “pastel de choclo”, the “empanadas de pino” and the “mero a lo pobre”, but our friends ordered “sopa de marisco” and other seafood and was delicious ! They also have a mini market of Chilean products you can take home. I highly recommend it !
I think this is the best Chilean restaurant in town. They definitely have a great selection of Chilean food and drinks. One of my favorites is the empanadas. Seafood, cheese, and meat empanadas are awesome! Also, they have a great Chilean wine selection and an awesome pisco sour. One of my favorite dishes is the pastel de choclo, which is amazing!!! Definitely have to try it if you go to this place.
Very authentic Chilean food. The appetizers are delicious, go for seafood and meat empanada. No matter what you want to eat, go for Congre fish, I had it with seafood sauce and it was really amazing. The beer is very tasty, it’s from Chile but German lager style. The jaiba(crab) cake is good as well.
One of my favorite places of all time. My parents are Chileno and Pamela’s has always been a slice of home for our family. Our favorites are always: pisco sours, empanadas (cheese and pino), steak a la pobre, pastel de choclo, and the bread and pebre to start. For dessert: torta lucuma! ❤️
We had the most delicious seafood dinner here, and prices were really good for the quality and serving size!! The mero en salsa de almejas al merken was my favorite fish dish EVER!! The grouper was so succulent and soft and the sauce was perfectly seasoned 😍. My fiancé got the congrio en salsa de marisco and it was delicious too, it had so much high quality seafood on top. We also had the shrimo empanadas for starters and they were so creamy and delicious, and the sides are very generously portioned! Will definitely come back!
I am Chilean and this food tastes just as good as my grandma's cooking! I loved this place because the environment was really low key and the service was lovely. Not to mention the cook did an amazing job! Will definitely be coming back with family and friends.
Update for September 2025: We visited a few weeks ago and were delighted with our food. I had the corn soufflé that has beef, chicken and egg inside. This is one of my favorite dishes there. My mom always orders their congri fish which is absolutely flaky and delicious. The servers are always on point and very attentive. Absolutely delicious Chilean food. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The service was on point and attentive. We will definitely be back soon! This is one of our favorite restaurants to visit with my parents. The cuisine is authentic Chilean delights. I’ve tried a lot of items in their menu throughout the years but I’ve narrowed my order in the past two years to their meat empanada for appetizer (I share half with my husband because they are huge), and I always order the corn casserole. These two menu Items are my absolute favorite. My parents love their congrio fish which of the most delicious fish I’ve ever had. The service is always perfect and it is a family atmosphere. We visit about one a month and have always enjoyed our meal.
Charming, hole in the wall, Chilean restaurant. The food was excellent, great service, and they have a good selection of Chilean wines for a great price. The desserts were out of this world delicious, as a matter of fact, it’s worth going just for that. All in all a great experience and will definitely be returning.
We take everything to go, was so delicious especially the alfajores
Great place. First time trying Chilean food and I was wholly impressed. I had the shrimp and cheese empanada which has a thicker pastry then I'm used to but was great. My entree was the Congrio en Salsa with the salsa de mariscos which was delicious. My date had the Chilean favorite Pastel de Choclo which was sweet and savory (not my favorite but she being Chilean loved it!). I also had the papas mayo as a side which paired well with the seafood. Also tried Kross Chilean beer which is a nice golden pale ale.
Excellent experience. I didn't expect such a place when I entered inside. The food was awesome and really authentic. Pros:Quite place. Nice environment. Cons: Didn't see one so far. 🙂 Definitely a place to revisit
Aqui se encuentra comida lejitima Chilena! Discover the wondrous Chilean cuisine which is an exquisite fusion of Native and European cooking techniques. When you sit down ... Bam! -warm homemade bread with butter and pebre is served. Start with a pastel de choco, locos mayo, o churrasco palta. You have not eaten a hot dog until you have had a Completo. Very reasonable prices on the food and wine. Prepare to get stuffed and satisfied! (If you want to learn how to make some of these recipes, please visit cuisinequest on youtube, gracias!)
Always is great to enjoy a restaurant where mostly the staff is originally from the place its cuisine is! Food is very good and ir it comes with good portions!

I have been a loyal customer of Pamela’s Restaurant in Miami for about 10 years, and it continues to be one of my absolute favorite places. Whether dining in the restaurant or shopping from their market, Pamela’s always delivers an authentic experience that feels like a little piece of Chile right in the heart of Miami. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, with a menu that offers something for everyone. Prices are very reasonable, making it easy to enjoy a great meal without breaking the bank. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for both casual meals and special gatherings. What truly makes Pamela’s stand out is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. After a decade of coming here, I can honestly say that Pamela’s isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a community favorite and a place that makes you want to return again and again. Highly recommended!
Food is AMAZINGLY delicious and it's very affordable. Service is a bit lacking, but they are also super busy. I come here every time I travel to Miami.
I went to Pamela’s with my wife and another couple. They knew this place and recommended to us. Indeed, the sopa de mariscos and pulpo were excellent. Waitress were very friendly and fast responders.
Excellent service. Amazing food and delicious empanadas. Highly recommend

Every time I come to Miami I come to Pamelas The food is amazing, great price, big menu, loyal to chilean traditional food! It always full of costumers But the service can always be better, they dont pay much attention to their tables so you have to constantly try to find a waiter or get their attention! Love Chilean food
Came for dinner with a Chilean friend and his wife to try this spot in Bird Road, it was a positive surprise for all! We enjoyed the empanadas (both beef and seafood), sandwiches, stews, and even a milhojas dessert. We also found a small market with Chilean and Peruvian food. The service and the atmosphere were ok.

The reason I am giving this 3 stars is because the wait times are extremely high and the waiting area is so small and crowded that sometimes you have to go and wait outside to be seated. Gratuity is included in all your bills, so don’t be surprised. It’s something I hate to see included in my bill especially since they give you the option to TIP MORE on top of the 18% they already slap on your bill. Besides those two things, everything else is a go. Good food, good service, good attention, very eye-catching place and normally has a lot of people dining in, which means it is a good place to eat. High quality food. They also have a mini in-restaurant store to buy goodies and treats that come from Chile, very nice.
Pamela's was good if you like heavy creamy sauces. The place is always fairly packed but when we arrived there were a couple of tables available. Service is very slow but good... meaning friendly and personable. The food itself was okay... I ordered erizos en salsa verde but they didn't have any... so waitress recommended the choros en salsa verde which were very bland... the salsa verde was basically onions and cilantro.... lacked salt and flavor. Empanadas were good and had lots of meat and or chicken. Fried Chorio (king clip) with rice was very good, simple but nicely fried and not greasy. Chorio en salsa de erizo ... again fish was cooked well but the sauce in this dish is overwhelming. Very creamy and a bit heavy... same for the Corvina in clams sauce... basically a ton of cream. I wish I had maybe ordered the sauce on the side to control the amount of sauce that goes on.... the sauce takes over the hole dish and being fish... it actually gets lost.

I had an incredibly upsetting and humiliating experience at this establishment. I came in with my service dog to quickly pick up takeout empanadas, and was immediately confronted and refused service because I didn’t have a physical license for my dog. I calmly explained that under federal law (ADA), individuals with disabilities are not required to carry documentation or a license for their service animals. Despite this, the staff (or owner) insisted I leave, showing a complete lack of understanding of the law, and basic human decency. This type of discrimination is not only wrong, it’s illegal. It is extremely disappointing to be treated this way, especially when simply trying to support a local business. Instead of de-escalating or listening, they doubled down on their ignorance and made me feel like a criminal for having a disability. I urge this restaurant to immediately educate themselves on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and train their staff accordingly. Turning away people with service animals is discriminatory and unacceptable. I won’t be returning, and I hope no one else has to experience what I did
