Great place for dinner. Especially in the cooler months when its so nice enjoying the romantic setting outside. Indoor tables too. Kevin our waiter took great care of us but the rest of the team was attentive as well. Shrimp appetizer was very tasty and the pasta main dishes were delicious . Chef Donatellas kitchen is outstanding.
Had an amazing time! Great service and beautiful place for a special occasion! In the restaurant the food is a bit pricey and small menu but worth the visit! Highly recommended for a drink in the bar during sunset!
I had an incredible experience at this beachside restaurant! The atmosphere was relaxed and beautiful, with the perfect ocean view to enjoy a great meal. The food was delicious and fresh, but what truly made the visit memorable was the amazing service. Our waitress, Adrian, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcomed. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food, a beautiful setting, and outstanding service. Thank you, Adrian, for making our visit so enjoyable—we’ll definitely be back!
✨ A Must-Visit Hidden Gem in Miami! I am a local from Miami and haven't been to this location since ownership changed. I’m so glad I gave it another try! This has now been my my third time in a month! dining at Noma Beach—and it just keeps getting better! The ambiance is tropical chic with stunning water views, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the food is absolutely next-level. I had the privilege of meeting the owner, Donatella, who’s not only hands-on and passionate but also treats her team like family. Every dish, drink, and dessert was explained with care—and it shows in the flavors. Favorites I’d recommend: • Tuna crispy rice • Burrata toast • Pear fiocchetti dolce • Shrimp Fra Diavola • Wild mushroom risotto with crispy enoki • Frangelico tiramisu • Hibiscus margarita • “Donatella Made Me Do It” cocktail It truly feels like you’re dining on a private island! And even though we are in summer there was a breeze and they had a lot of things in place to controlMosquitos!
Oh my!! By far the best tiramisu I have ever eaten!! Such a combination of the right flavor, texture and presentation! Their tuna crispy rice is also amazing. The restaurant vibe, music is another bonus. Jose took good care of me! Definitely coming back again.
Sunset, Salt, and Swagger: Dining at NOMA Beach at Redfish . CORAL GABLES, FL - Golden hour in Coral Gables does its best work at NOMA Beach at Redfish, where the bay turns to liquid bronze and the rooftop draws a good-looking crowd nursing tall-stemmed spritzes. Set inside Matheson Hammock Park—the only true waterfront dining address in the Gables—this modern, coastal-Italian outpost feels purpose-built for date nights, proposals, and the kind of unbothered weeknight that slides into a second bottle. The setting is the flex: a coral-stone landmark, palm-ringed beach, and a rooftop patio with wide-open views of Biscayne Bay. . Linen, leather sandals, a whisper of salt, and a soundtrack that gets warmer as the sun drops. Staff skew friendly and on-the-ball— regulars call out attentive service and event pros who run the rooftop like a private club—though, like many Miami hot tickets, peak hours can stretch patience. . Chef-owner Donatella Arpaia steers the menu toward glossy Mediterranean comfort with seafood first in line. Start with the Hanging Board — prosciutto di Parma, Marcona almonds, fig jam, cheeses and honey—hung tableside like jewelry; it’s theater and appetite-builder in one. The fritto misto (semolina-crusted calamari and shrimp with avocado aioli) is a crisply addictive second act. Prices are Miami-prime but transparent: $42 for that board, $40 for the fritto, $35 for Donatella’s award-winning meatballs, and salads spanning $25–$37. . Those meatballs are a house signature, swaddled in slow-braised ragù—comfort food dressed for a night out. On the lighter side, the Stone Fruit Caprese layers grilled peaches and burrata with basil and prosciutto, a sun-kissed detour that eats like a South Florida postcard. For mains, branzino with lemon-caper butter and gigante beans is the clean, confident order; pasta traditionalists go for rigatoni tossed in a broken-meatball ragù. . Cocktails are where the rooftop gets chatty. The program leans seasonal and agave-curious, with a deep bench of tequilas and mezcals, while the bar keeps crowd-pleasers in rotation—Aperol spritz at sundown, a cucumber-gin number when the humidity bites, and a notably silky espresso martini when the night asks for punctuation. . As for damage: the experience at $31–$50 per person before tax and tip; Miami’s tourism board lists it at “$$$ ($31–$45).” Given the postcard real estate and the coastal-Italian polish, that’s in line with the neighborhood — and mercifully south of sticker shock for a special-occasion table. . Housekeeping for the planners: reservations are wise, the rooftop hosts recurring happenings (think winemaker dinners and themed evenings), Sunset Wednesday–Friday Happy Hour on the outdoor bar is a savvy play for oysters and cocktails with that cinematic sky. . The verdict? NOMA Beach at Redfish is Miami distilled: spectacular water, dressed-up comfort food, and a bar that understands the assignment. Come for the posture, stay for the plates—especially that branzino, the fritto, and the meatballs—and embrace the occasional Miami hiccup as the cost of admission to a front-row seat on Biscayne Bay. It's salt-sprayed, sun-dappled, a touch high-maintenance, and unapologetically fun.
Outside dining. The ambiance is soothing, the food is delicious, and the drinks were spot on. Recommend if in the area.
Italian cuisine with a focus on seafood, cocktails, and happy hour specials offered in a romantic upscale setting on the water by Matheson Hammocks. The food and service is first class. Perfect spot for a romantic date to impress.
One of my favorite restaurants in Miami—and easily one of the best in the US. The food is outstanding, and the quality of the ham rivals what you’d find in Spain. The hanging jamón was the star of the show. The bartender was friendly and engaging, the staff attentive, and the music created the perfect vibe. I loved the outdoor bar seating area—great ambiance and a beautiful view, especially during sunset. This place gets everything right. Highly recommend.
We had a great time at Noma, perfect place to relax, eat well, and enjoy the view. Fresh, flavorful seafood and relaxing beachside vibe. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!
Overall a GREAT experience’ this place is top notch, perfect for an evening with the family or date night. Delicious food , and the drinks are amazing ! My server John Cardona was incredibly attentive the entire time and made sure our dining experience was one to remember. Definitely recommend

Food and vibes were absolutely immaculate! Went for a girls dinner and we could not have had a better time! Our waiter Chris had us laughing and made the entire experience feel welcoming and fun! Will definitely be coming back!
Came to this place through a recommendation and it was amazing. Food was good, the environment was very welcoming, wasn’t excessively loud like these other places are. The tuna crispy rice and snapper were AMAZING, thank you Chris, he was our server, for that recommendation. When we come back I hope Chris is there again.
I had an amazing experience with John as my server. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure all my needs were met without me having to ask. His recommendations were perfect, and his service really made my visit special. I’ll definitely be back, and I hope to be served by him again! Thank you, John!
Couldn’t wait to write this review. We had been here before when it was owned by Chef Adrienne, who we Love, but couldn’t remember that visit. This time, while we Loved everything that touched our tongue, the service also stood out. I’m sure we will remember and be back! Our server Chris was so attentive and genuine. It was New Year’s Eve and it was pretty busy, so everything wasn’t perfect, but he really hussled to get things right, and he even said he took pride in his work. He was more concerned about our wobbly table than we were! As to the food, everything was truly delicious, including the ricotta cheese/honey/truffle butter! 🤯 The mussels were Good quality and the butter, garlic, wine, etc, sauce was one of the best we’ve had. It’s unusual to rave about a Caesar salad, but this one was totally worthy. Then we had the whole fried snapper (with a salad), truffle mashed potatoes, and the crispy spicy cauliflower (not spicy to me). Not sure what’s in the cauliflower but we ate every bit! Did I already say everything was delicious? Well l it was!😋 On top of all this goodness, and the beautiful outdoor setting on the water, with just the right South Florida temperature there was music and a saxophonist. It wasn’t too loud and the kind and variety of music was perfect for the evening!💫
Thank you so much for your kind email! I wanted to write a review of the amazing and professional service server Carlos gave us!! He was just an extraordinary server and every time he approached us was going above and beyond asking if we were ok. The most important thing was that he would pass by and check us out without interrupting our conversation and was always making sure he was available and present if we needed him. He was patient and delightful and so respectful and courteous and kind. Very professional and with an extend sense of providing an exquisite service. He is an amazing server and attendant. I’m telling you, I haven’t been served by anyone lately that has the ability to make a client feel in such an amazing and relaxing way. As a flight attendant for a major airline, I know what customer service is and how you can go above and beyond on treating clients and customers. He really went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. In overall everyone there was amazing, starting with the hostess greeting me and taking me to my table and to also the principle server or manager coordinating everything. Also I made a little observation with the music being too loud when they started playing it and the person in charge came immediately to apologize for the system had just turn on out of schedule. This made my experience in this restaurant a just repeat one. It was my first time visiting this place and I will return again with friends! Food and presentation and portions were above my expectations and delicious! The wine and the bread appetizer courtesy of house was the most exquisite I’ve taken! Dessert was just perfect in size and taste. A real combination of fabulous taste. This is a place I will come back for sure! Please extend my regards and thanks to all personnel, but most of all to Carlos and give him my regards and thanks to him. Thank you once again for your amazing service and food! Hope he can be my server the next time I visit Noma Beach! Have a blessed day
Chris Sarabia was great! It was our first time here and didn’t know much about the menu. Chris recommended us some delicious appetizers and entrees. Amazing attention to detail with our orders and always checking up on how we were doing. Will definitely come back soon!
Dining at Noma Beach was an unforgettable experience! Nestled in a stunning outdoor setting with breathtaking water views, this restaurant offers the perfect blend of ambiance, great food, and exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene atmosphere—warm lighting, a gentle breeze, and the soothing sound of the water nearby. The seating was comfortable, and every table seemed to have a fantastic view. The menu was equally impressive. The seafood options were particularly outstanding, perfectly complementing the waterfront setting. Pairing our meal with a refreshing cocktail while watching the sunset made the experience even more magical. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Gio and David were absolutely amazing. If you’re looking for a perfect spot for a romantic date, a special celebration, or just a relaxing meal with a view this is must-visit. I can’t wait to come back!
I had the pleasure of being served by Chris during my recent visit, and I must say, the experience was outstanding. From the moment we were seated, Chris greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. His professionalism and attention to detail were evident throughout the meal. Chris's friendly and approachable demeanor made the entire meal feel more enjoyable, and he genuinely seemed to care that we had a great time. If you're lucky enough to have Chris as your server, you're in for a top-notch dining experience. Would 100% be returning back to this divine restaurant.
I really enjoyed my time here. The food is tasty and also beautiful which is great for pictures if you're into that. The atmosphere is also nice but what stood out the most was the service, my server Christopher was super helpful and friendly, he was also very prompt and didn't miss a beat. With the great service and great food I will definitely be coming back!
I’ve been coming to this spot since it was a beach with a coral rock hotdog stand bustling with kids during the summer time and on weekends. Came when redfish opened and again when Chef Adrienne took over operations. Went back tonight just after a rainy afternoon when the miami coastline is calm and quiet with that “just after the rain” breeze. I must say it was a perfect night coupled with the perfect setting. The food was phenomenal. The manchego croquettes Donatella (the owner) sent over where the most perfect. From the crudo to the ever so light carbonara everything that was perfectly al dente, the experience was spectacular. The chef/owner was delightful and welcoming. For miami locals looking for a perfect date night or that perfect place that screams “Miami Nights” you must try NOMA.. thank you Donatella for your attention and hospitality.
Tonight we dined at Noma and it was a wonderful experience. It is pricey and part of what you are paying for is the view, but all of the dishes we had were excellent and we will definitely return for the various crudos, the spicy mussels and the whole snapper. The only issue we had was several menu items were not available but we will go back in the future and try them. Our dinner was made even more special by meeting the owner and chef, Donatello Arpaia, she was very kind and gracious. This is a great place to bring guests from out of town for a special meal in a truly spectacular setting. Would suggest you book soon because as more people discover the new menu and gorgeous waterfront views, it will be booked solid.
Our server John was Great, funny guy. He made sure we were all good with great service. He also brought out my chocolate cake pretty fast. The food here was great, me and my family had a great time. Would eat here again.
I’ve made a reservation for 7 people on Mother’s day at 6:15pm… Something happened in the kitchen that our orders took almost 2 hours to arrive. Alexa was our waiter and we really have to give to her because she tried to make all better for the not so good moment we were going thru. We had few meals that were not cooked well, and drinks took a bit to arrive. Nothing was running smooth. Employees tried all their best to keep it calm… because it was caos. When things don’t go that well, the next step is to speak with the manager which he was a very polite and professional. Mother’s Day at NOMA was a bit challenging for staff and my family but we really have to give it to them… They were aware of their difficulties and when the check arrived, all was taking care by the house. Not too many restaurants do this, so we wanted to take the time to write this and thank the manager for the way we closed our night. The money was not the issue, what matters is to acknowledge what we as customers went through and how all was handle i general. Thank you
I had the pleasure to meet the amazing chef Donatella Arpaia and the dishes she prepared were extraordinary. Her cuisine incorporates Cuban flavor and was truly exceptional and the experience with her plates was extraordinary. The location offers a stunning beach view, with excellent service and spotless cleanliness. I can’t wait to visit at night time for a more unforgettable experience.
A very cozy restaurant with a wonderful view. The service was excellent and the food spectacular.
We had a company holiday dinner at Noma and it was a great experience. Friendly attentive staff, good food, good drinks. My only regret is getting there after sunset so I could not see the views of the water, but looking forward to coming back.
I came here last night with my boyfriend and we had such a lovely time! All of the staff were wonderful, very polite! Cocktails were delicious! I tend to like sweet fruity or fresh drinks with low alcohol flavor and they gave us some very good recommendations! We went with the 3 course menu (called "Miami heat"?). Both of us tried one of the appetizers, crispy tuna and a salmon one - both so flavorful! I could have eaten just those! Then I had the branzino which was do delicious, perfectly cooked! Partner had some kind of beef dish with mushrooms and truffle potatoes which was also divine! Would go again and maybe try the snapper next time!
Went here for a date night on a Friday. The location is ideal for people that live in the Pinecrest/palmetto area and don’t want to go all the way to Miami on a fancy date night. The menu choices were great and the service fantastic. They had a musician there, amazing views and super romantic environment
This is one of our special occasions go to place. Consistent good food, refreshing drinks options. Stunning view / atmosphere. David our server provided an outstanding service. David was also very attentive and his menu knowledge was very handy in order to accommodate our family food allergies.
We had a wonderful dinner at the new Noma at Redfish. We arrived just before sunset and were seated at a lovely table by the beach that felt private and and cozy. The service was great and although the food did take a bit longer than expected to come out, it was worth the wait. The scallops with currants and Brussels were delicious we really enjoyed the tuna tiraditos. We will definitely be returning.
House made focaccia is the best I’ve ever had. Made in wood burning oven. Vanessa our server was amazing! We also had a special house made bolognese special which was AMAZING! Gio the GM was also very accommodating. I’m glad I didn’t listen to the reviews about how expensive it was because it really was affordable for an upscale restaurant. Oysters were something else!! Will return soon!
The staff at NOMA are exceptional. Initially made a birthday dinner reservation but n a Thursday but needed to reassign it a day later due to flight issues. The host/hostess was more than accommodating and gracious to make the changes. Samantha (our server) was hospitable, approachable, and make excellent menu recommendations. We throughly enjoyed the scallops, the branzino, and asparagus side. Samantha accommodated our dietary preferences, made appropriate wine recommendations, and made my birthday dinner personalized and special. We will come back, and we will request Samantha as our server. The ambiance of the restaurant was a mix of beach elegance and fine dining.
First time at Noma Beach, and I loved it. I sat at bar for dinner and Sabrina was my bartender and she was awesome! Always smiling and made the best drinks! She guided me with recommendations from the menu, and she was spot on! I had the Hibiscus Breeze Mojito( virgin) it was fabulous! Appetizers were great, the entrees amazing! Had the Citrus Caprese and the Shrimp Diablo for appetizers and the Risotto anl Frutti de Mare entree. The ambiance, lighting and music was wonderful! Will definitely be back and will be always asking for Sabrina!
We hosted an event at Noma Beach and wow we couldn't recommend this restaurant more. From the very beginning, the event planning was a breeze, thanks to the amazing Vanessa. She was so helpful, attentive, and organized, making sure everything went smoothly. Her dedication and professionalism were truly exceptional. A special shoutout to Jorge, who was our server – he was fantastic! So attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was taken care of. The level of service we received was top-notch. And of course, the food – it was absolutely delicious! Every dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Our family and friends couldn’t stop talking about how great everything was. We are so happy with our choice to host our event here, and we’ve received so many compliments from our guests. If you’re considering this restaurant for any occasion, we highly recommend it! Thank you again to the entire team for making our day so special!
My first visit to NOMA Beach at Redfish will not be my last! I savored their snapper crudo - a divine blend of flavors with the perfect balance of toasted pistachios, mint, lemon zest and olive oil. As the only waterfront restaurant in Coral Gables, the views are unmatched, especially from the rooftop. I can’t wait to come back with friends! Chef Donatella's culinary mastery shines here, making it a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts and nature lover's alike.
I've got to say, this place is an absolute gem! The food? Oh, it's like a party in your mouth, seriously! And the service? Top-notch. Plus, the restaurant itself is a total stunner with those amazing waterfront views. I couldn't get enough of the snapper, meatballs, and butternut squash. You better believe I'll be back for another round of fun. Chef Donatella, thanks for the awesome experience!
Our server Daniel was absolutely amazing. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. Gio — the manager, was very kind and welcoming. This was an amazing place to visit. The food was delectable, very rich, and very fast between finding a table to getting our food. I would recommend eating at this place and I would dine again any day!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Noma Beach Seafood Restaurant, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is inviting, the waterfront views are stunning, and the seafood is incredibly fresh and flavorful. Every dish was prepared to perfection, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to quality and excellence. A special shoutout to John Cardona, our server, who went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional dining experience. His professionalism, attentiveness, and warm demeanor made us feel truly welcomed. He was knowledgeable about the menu, provided excellent recommendations, and made sure every detail of our meal was taken care of with a smile. If you’re looking for a top-tier seafood dining experience with outstanding service, Noma Beach Seafood Restaurant is the place to go. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return
Beautiful restaurant for beautiful events. We hosted my nieces communion lunch here in the private room and it was perfect. Our server was attentive to our group and made sure to keep the champagne and cocktails coming! The food was delicious and “Chef Donatella’s favorite dessert” was a twist on a Miami staple the was incredible! We look forward to returning for romantic date nights and fun family gatherings!
I am in the process of event planning for my daughter's birthday. So far it has been a very positive experience. The event manager has been great to work with. The place is definitely beautiful and we are looking forward to our celebration there. Updated Apr 10 - Had my event on March 16th and words are not enough to express how glad I am to have chosen this venue. Our guests were equally impressed. The care and amazing attitude from each person we dealt with was superb. As soon as we arrived we were introduced to the team members that would be taking care of us that day, namely David and Joel. They were INCREDIBLE. In Miami we are spoiled with many places to go to but truly nice, courteous, people are becoming harder to find. They were amazing. I could go on forever about David and Joel. I had a large group of teenagers and 10 adults. We had a set menu for the teen party and the adults ordered a la carte. EVERYONE was happy. Everything was great. Our event manager, April, was a delight to work with and took care of every detail. To put the cherry on top, their pastry chef, Chris, designed and made the birthday cake for us. I was almost in tears to see how he took our thought and made something unforgettable for us. This review now looks like the reviews where I say "OK, what is the deal?" But this experience really deserves this review. I went there not knowing ANYONE, just because we wanted something by the water, family friendly and not in downtown. I made THE best decision. It was my daughter's fifteen birthday therefore there WERE expectations and they were all met and taken above and beyond. Wish you all the best of luck there and I hope to see you again soon!
NOMA Beach at Redfish is a truly unforgettable dining experience, combining incredible food, breathtaking waterfront views, and top-tier service. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a stunning location right on Biscayne Bay. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic evening, a special celebration, or simply a relaxing meal by the water. What truly set our experience apart was the exceptional service from our server, John. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure our meal was perfect. From recommending the best dishes to ensuring our drinks were always full, John made us feel genuinely welcomed. His friendly personality and professionalism elevated our night, making the service just as memorable as the food. Speaking of food, every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The grilled branzino was cooked to perfection, and the appetizers were just as impressive. The cocktail and wine selection also added to the experience, with great pairings for the meal. Overall, NOMA Beach at Redfish is a must-visit, and if you have the chance to be served by John, you’re in for an even better experience. We will definitely be back!
Went today with my wife, and mom and dad for a late Mother's Day treat! Was surprised when we got there as we read the sign, closed today for private party. Mind you we had confirmed reservations made 2 weeks ago and confirmed day before we came. As we walked in we encountered chef Donatella, who assured us we would be taken care of. After we were seated and we ordered drinks, Donatella came over explained how a group of distinguished gentlemen on motorcycles, riding for a fundraiser for cancer, were descending on her restaurant with 3 days notice! She told them she would be honoring all reservations up to that point. We got there at 12:00 and the place was quiet and we were seated at an outside table near the water. Wow! Within 30 minutes the place was packed with impeccably dressed group of motorcyclist wearing suits and ties! Long story short, we had an amazing experience with not only the food, but the service as well! Our food and drinks came faster than we could imagine with so many people coming in all at once. Lunch was amazing from crab cakes and meatball appetizers to mahi mahi sandwiches with fries. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience! Food, service, ambiance, PERFECT! Cudo's to our server who, despite the packed restaurant, was spot on and was there whenever we needed something. Will definitely be back!
Spectacular waterfront views. We arrived as the sun was setting finished as moon was rising, while a gentle sea breeze kept us comfortable throughout this warm May evening — the setting cannot be matched anywhere else in Miami. Our server was extremely attentive, friendly and engaging. She must have revisited our table at least 7-10 times throughout the evening to inquire about drinks, appetizers, satisfaction, etc. Our food was delicious! I ordered the meatballs (also a favorite of our young son who joined us!) and branzino — huge portion that I was unable to finish. My husband had the scallops which were equally delectable. We plan to return especially for sunset happy hours as the location is truly one of a kind.
I had the pleasure of being served by John, and I can honestly say he made the entire experience exceptional from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. John anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made sure everything came out just right. His positive attitude and genuine care for his guests really stood out. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly takes pride in what they do, and John is one of those people. Highly recommend asking for him if you want top-notch service. Thank you, John – you made our visit memorable!
We cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Noma. Every single dish we had was decadent and beyond our expectations. My fiancé and I tried the Miami spice menu where the hits were the scallops, spicy tuna crispy rice, chicken parmigiana, and the carrot cake. Our waitress Vanessa was absolutely amazing and we even got to meet Chef Donatella who was an absolute pleasure. I could not recommend this restaurant more, everything about it was perfection.
Dining at Noma beach is always an incredible experience. Every time my wife and I visit this magical place on the water they continuously exceed our expectations. The fritto Misto is our favorite appetizer and the oysters are always fresh and delicious. The views surrounding this restaurant are spectacular and the staff is always professional and extremely personable. Chef Donatella has procured an excellent menu that everyone can enjoy. We will be going back very soon!

BEST!!! I had an amazing experience at Noma beach Red Fish! The atmosphere was perfect, creating a cozy and inviting vibe. The food was simply outstanding – every dish was a delight to the taste buds. What made it even better was meeting the owner and manager who was incredibly kind and made us feel at home. A truly memorable dining experience!! Can’t wait to visit again.
Thank you, Noma Beach! 🌴✨ We organized our company end-of-year party there, and it was perfect. The setting is stunning, the food is excellent, and the service is impeccable. Highly recommend. Thank you again to the whole team for such a wonderful evening! 🙏🥂
We celebrated day two of our wedding anniversary here - great food, and very accommodating managers - let’s us hire a saxophonist for an hour! Thanks to our server Axl for the great hospitality!
We came for Mother’s Day and we showed up 30 min late, the hostess was extremely nice to let us have our table at least for an hour before the next rsvp showed up. The service was excellent; the place is a dream, and the food was delicious. My baby ate her entire pizza and loved the ice cream. I had the branzino, meatballs and Donatello’s dessert and it was amazing. I will be coming here more often! Plus the owner was so nice to come to our table to wish us happy Mother’s Day :)
Went there a bit skeptical after reading the somewhat mediocre reviews, though I’m not easily turned off by such reviews, the fact that most mentioned service had me a bit nervous. Regardless, girlfriend made a reservation and off we went. Must say, John was very attentive, the food was just right and fresh, all within a fair amount of time to enjoy our dinner under a half moon light of about two hours. The ambience added to the experience and indeed it was a lovely night with wonderful food (scallops, oysters, branzino, lobster ravioli and a chilled bottle of mondavi Chardonnay).. great place, highly recommend, will be coming back soon . Thank you John!!!
I had such a wonderful time at NOMA Beach at Redfish! I took my parents there for dinner, and we had the luck of seeing and meeting Donatella! The service was impeccable, the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere... sitting with a view of the ocean and the swaying palm trees... OMG!... so amazing! The care that the chef took to prepare our meals was simply impressive and my parents loved it. I can't wait to come back, and if I'm lucky, Donatella will be there again 😊
Excellent on all points!! This is where to go to be treated like royalty and still have money left for desert! 😃Amazing setting and great service.
First time in Noma Beach and it won’t be the last one. To start off the spicy lobster crispy rice and the manchego croquettes were delicious. When it was time to order the entree Gianno (our waiter) was very knowledgeable, helpful so decided to go for the carbonara. Took my wife and I 5 years (since our last Italy vacation) to find true authentic tasting italian carbonara pasta here in Miami. Did not disappoint!!! Great Italian food, Chef Ricky and the whole staff are on point. Highly recommend Noma Beach restaurant.
We held our holiday party at Noma Beach. It was the perfect venue with the lights on the palm trees and the smell of the ocean, the DJ playing music in the background, passed appetizers (OMG THE MEATBALLS AND TUNA TARTARE!!). The weather was perfect and so was the service, and the food was delicious. Shout out to Chef Donatella and her amazing staff!
Amazing experience! I am an event planner and hosted a welcome party for a wedding at NOMA Beach at Redfish. The entire process was wonderful. The team worked so well together to make the event seamless. Every time I asked for a favor they were so accommodating and everyone I encountered had a great attitude. The food was delicious and came out on time. I have no notes. Vanessa, Gio and chef make an excellent team. I can't wait to work here again, it was a joyous experience.
Noma Beach was extremely accommodating for all my guests, they were flexible with changes and requests, and extremely easy to communicate with. Vanessa was the best to work with, she helped me through every part of the process and was able to make my event a huge success. The staff working there as well were phenomenal, no task was too much or met with any hesitation. We had a small issue that was beautifully handled by the chef and GM who stepped in to help as well. Everyone was all hands on deck, understanding, and ready to help. I would absolutely have my event here again. Thank you Noma and thank you Vanessa.
Made a reservation for a birthday family celebration. Upon arrival we got seated in the back. Wr requested a table closer to the beach with more breeze. At first the staff said we couldn’t; my husband asked the manager Gio, and they moved us gladly and quickly! Our waiter Federicko was amazing, treated us with respect and kindness. The food was delicious and the desserts were dreamy. Wonderful evening sitting under the Miami sky! Will definitely return.
Absolutely beautiful location with exceptional service and food. We booked our company holiday party at the rooftop. The set-up was so beautiful, and the food was fresh and delicious. The location was breathtaking! Vanessa, our event coordinator and her team were phenomenal...the attention to detail and care taken towards our event was wonderful. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be booking this place again! Thank you!!!

offers a beautiful view that enhances the dining experience. The service was satisfactory, with staff members being attentive and polite. The food, however, was just okay and did not stand out compared to other high-end restaurants. Additionally, I found the prices to be quite high for the quality of the dishes offered. Overall, Noma Restaurant provides a pleasant atmosphere, but the food quality does not justify the high cost.
Overall, this is a restaurant i will come back to due to the outstanding service provided by our server Samantha. We had a reservation for 8pm, arrived at 7:55 and we were seated almost instantly. Within a couple of minutes, Samantha came to our table and took our drink orders. We wanted a bottle of wine they had listed by the glass but not on the bottle menu, and she arranged a bottle for us anyways. Her recommendations were great and the food was honestly above average. Pricing however is quite high for what you actually receive, i feel like the quality of food should have been priced 20-30% lower than menu prices. But, it is a beautiful location and the ambiance is great. The music was rather quiet but provided a nice ambient sound. Service was a bit on the slower side, and we were brought 3-4 plates over the course of dinner that were not for our table. Seems the organization could use some work. The service was great and made us feel special, but due to the pricing I can't justify a 5 star review. Solid 4 star experience, however and Samantha deserves every bit of 5 stars for her service and attention to detail.

Incredible place to go and visit! Amazing sunset and later, we were able to see the moon. What an amazing day!
I enjoyed the food, everything was delicious, it's a nice place. Just be careful with the parking in front of the restaurant; it's not free. I did not know this (my fault) and got a ticket, which spoiled my mood in the end. It turns out you can only pay for parking through the app. If you're a foreign tourist, make sure to download the app beforehand.
Redfish grill has always been an amazing setting. I have visited many times over the years. Our server was very good. Just what you would expect fine dining. My only and biggest issue is the price! Wow is it costly. The side dishes are $24 each. The apps start at $30. The flavor & freshness were there. But was bitter at these price points. The place was empty on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I can only guess it is the prices keeping people away. Maybe management should rethink a lunch menu.
Food was good, not worth the cost. Portion size, was that of a restaurant believing that it has " made it", but not wonderful! Was asked up front, "was there an occasion associated with the visit?" I replied "it's our anniversary "; what did we get from the place and or our server? NOTHING! Not even a happy anniversary! Nothing! Except, an over priced ego centered restaurant visit. Why ask what the occasion is for the visit? Shame on you! At 72 years old, this was the worst restaurant experience of my life. 5 star for price; 1 star for personal service, that gives you a 2.5 star rating; i rounded up to 3. Your welcome!
This restaurant is in an extraordinary location. Very nice atmosphere. That’s all. Poor food and regular service. We were a group of seven. Cocktails were flavorless. The same for starters. Oysters, PEI mussels and crudo scallops were tasteless. Lobster Pappardelle and filet mignon were just acceptable. Service was regular. Our waitress was not very nice. Tíos expensive for what it is. Not worth to come back.
I decided to go with my 4 year old daughter to have our NYE dinner there as I called earlier and they said that there were available walking hight top tables by the bar that we could order. Which it was ok for me because we were only 2. We got there and took them about 25 minutes to come take our order or even acknowledge our presence there, many servers would walk by and not even a “hi” and the restaurant was pretty much empty by 10pm. My poor daughter was freezing, I requested the server if he could bring a heater lamp that was by the other tables side which was empty so at least we could eat. They refused even though that area was empty and the lamp wasn’t being used by no one. I had to leave and ask for my daughter’s food to go because it was impossible for my poor girl to bear with that cold. Worst experience ever. I left at 10:45 and the restaurant would still empty. Which it was the most disgustingly horrible experience to me to see they just denied a heater to us because it belonged to certain area which it was empty. Even the server apologized to me and said “I already asked and the yelled at me because of it “
✅ Nice place for a dinner + mini adventure. Romantic location at the heart of Matheson Hammock park, great view, beautiful deco with the fire at the outdoors. 🚨 Don’t go super hungry or in a hurry because kitchen it could be slow. ⭐️ Our server Vanessa was amazing and caring, she did everything for making us feel better while we wait. Manager Oscar was super attentive too. They didn’t charge us for dessert & coffees 🥘 The food wasn’t memorable for the prize, with the exception of the broccolini, that was delicious, scallops great too. 🍰 Dessert was too simple for me, I expected more, but we appreciate that they surprised us with the anniversary decoration. As I said they were super courteous. I would suggest to them level up the menu and put more attention to the restrooms. I know they just open recently, it’s feels that they are working hard in doing better. In the pic boyfriend joking trying to hide his meal from me 😆🍴 💰 We spent $153 with the discount + $8 valet parking 🚙
$150/pp all-in I started visiting Redfish a little over 4 years ago when I moved to South Miami. I loved the location on the beach. Last year I took the entire leadership team of my company (plus spouses) there at year end. That was the night that we met the sanctimonious little weasel who is now a cabinet secretary. Maybe that's why it now costs almost as much to dine at Redfish as it does to buy a presidential pardon. My sister and I went for dinner last Saturday night. We each had two glasses of house wine, an app, and a pasta dish. With a 20% tip and the 3% credit card fee (really, Redfish?) the bill topped $300. We didn't have desert, we didn't have salad, we weren't drinking mixed drinks. Sorry, Redfish, but $50 for a bowl of carbonara and $60 for the bolongnese is insane. The going rate at some very nice little spots up the road in Coconut Grove is less than half that, and no one will know the difference in the food. Redfish is adequate, just wildly overpriced. The real attraction is the location on the beach. Go in the summer when long daylight hours allow you to enjoy the view, but at this time of year, opt for people watching in the Grove and a great meal at half the price.
I had the Chicken Marsala, it was delicious and well prepared BUT….the portion was ridiculously small for $36!!! Twice the amount would have been acceptable for the price; regardless, it was very good!

We were mainstays when it was run by the previous chef. We were married there 23 years ago so therefore it is personal to us. Unfortunately we have tried 3 times since the change of management. 3 times we have been very disappointed. However, this time we experienced something that we were all shocked. We couldn’t get bread because “there was a wedding party there”. There was a long table at the end with the wedding party with about 30 people, a small % of the outdoor venue. What that has to do with getting bread is beyond me. Unfortunately we will have to wait until a new chef and administration comes in.
Terrible experience at the 2024 New Year's Eve dinner, I made a reservation in advance for my family of 3 adults and a 3-year-old child. When we arrived, they placed us at a very high table without taking into account that we had a child. We asked for a chair for the child and the lady told us that the chair would be too low for the table. We asked her to relocate us to another table that was lower and she told us that she did not have one, which was NOT the case because there were many empty low tables. It took a while to serve us, the table was not set: it had no cutlery, no glasses, no menu. We waited for several minutes like this. When they came to serve us, the waiter did not know how to explain the menu to us because he says the menu was new. We placed the order and each dish took a long time to arrive, the food was very bad, the drinks and cocktails we ordered took a long time to arrive and others did not arrive and my husband had to remind the waiter what we had ordered. I will not return to this place because it was a very bad experience in general. The food was bad. We ordered shrimp cocktail, tuna tartar, shrimp and lobster risotto. Everything lacked flavor and was reheated. We didn't order dessert because we wanted to leave that place where they never served us. We had to ask for things because when they brought us the plates, they would leave and we didn't even have cutlery to eat. The food was very expensive and bad. The bathrooms in the place were super dirty.
NOMA Beach at Redfish in Miami was once a place of magic. I remember visiting over a decade ago and feeling like I’d stumbled into a secret; down a long, tree-canopied drive that opened up to a charming travertine structure glowing with colorful lights. Step through the restaurant and you’re met with one of the most picturesque views in Miami: a soft-sanded terrace at the edge of the water, the city skyline twinkling in the distance, framed by palms and a thatched canopy. It always felt a bit surreal, like dining in a postcard. That magic still lingers—the drive is just as lovely, the view still jaw-dropping. Unfortunately, everything else has deteriorated to the point of disbelief. Let’s start with the service. While every staff member was kind, the attention was so excessive it bordered on satire. We were checked on at least ten times in under an hour. That’s roughly every six minutes. It wasn’t service, it was surveillance. And then there was the food—and the bill. We ordered a cocktail, an iced tea, a salmon crudo, and a Caesar salad. $119 and I wish I were joking. The salmon? About two bites’ worth, flavorless except for the overpowering sting of raw red onion, which lingered well into the afternoon. My husband’s Caesar was drowned in dressing—slathered to the point of absurdity. It was less a salad and more a plate goop. This wasn’t just an underwhelming meal. It was a wildly overpriced disaster that reeked of laziness in the kitchen and a tone-deaf pricing strategy. The chef either needs to retrain or reeducate—this level of disregard for balance, proportion, and flavor is baffling in a restaurant charging $40+ per entree. The setting is still spectacular. But go for a walk, not a meal. Let the view be the only thing you take away. Because NOMA Beach at Redfish, once a dream, is now nothing short of a tragedy.
I could give this place CERO STAR if possible Stay away from this place. Worst food quality and drinks no good. They make up the bill with hidden items and increase the tip. Very disappointed with this place. Better pick a different restaurant than this one.
Last night, Dec. 27th, we visited Noma Beach by Redfish Restaurant at Mathieson Park in Coral Gables. My husband suggested going to a fish restaurant. We dine out very frequently and there are many choices. He suggested we go to Joe’s Stone Crab in MB which we like but I suggested coming to Noma Beach by Redfish because we are familiar with this park and the neighborhood since we live in Coral Gables. We owned a Catering & Event Production company for 33 years in Coral Gables. We already retired. We catered a few weddings here in Mathieson Park. In 2015 our son was married in the park and dinner followed at the Redfish Grill Restaurant on premises. We also dined in a couple of times after that because I loved their Sea Bass which is not even on the Menu anymore. After 2017 when Hurricane Irma stroke, they closed. The other day looking to new experiences in dining, I came upon Noma Beach as being open in the same place. However, yesterday was a bad choice to go for dinner 👎🤦♀️. The place itself is very nice as decor goes. Their clientele was very nice. But everything else is a disappointment. Their menu is very short, not much variety, $$$, I didn’t order appetizers thinking to be to much food but to my surprise when my entree came, Risotto Fruta di Mare, it looked more like an appetizer than a main course. (Pic attached). Fancy plate but the amount of risotto was skimp with 3 small shrimps and 3 mussels. The quality and taste was super. We even commented with our waiter Joel who just listened but had no comment of his own about such a small portion. My husband joked saying ‘…maybe they ran out…’. We even asked if the restaurant had a different owner, his answer was ‘…same owner but different Chef…’ he just shrugged his shoulders. I don’t think he said anything to the Manager who I believe was there, a total indifference to a patron’s concerns, this is why I decided to write this review because to us, your satisfied clientele is what makes your business prosper. We don’t mind paying the price if the food is worth it, but this was extreme. I ordered a glass of Sangria because my husband wasn’t going to drink, it came in a small wine glass, it was tasty but 2 sips and you are done. The best dish out of the whole dinning experience was that my husband ordered the whole Snapper, MP, and although we think a bit overpriced at $65 it was the best thing we were having after everything else been mediocre. His fish was tasty, nicely presented, with just some small portion salad on the plate. At this point, we were regretting choosing to come here today. But, we ordered dessert, Chocolate Mousse with Chocolate Cake, again, served in a small martini glass, tiny piece of cake and some trimmings ($18) ridiculous! 🤦♀️ Having been in the food industry for so many years, we learned that food & service go hand in hand. So, as for service… we were not impressed…. Although polite, we didn’t feel well taking care of. Another waiter came by and offered my husband a water refill, my glass was empty, but he only asked my husband, not me, he poured his glass and left. When my husband’s fish came in I asked our waiter for another plate to put the bones, he came back with a dessert plate.🤦♀️ We needed to ask for wet towels for our hands, he said ‘sure… some hot water & lime…’ which sounded perfect. He came back with 2 rolled napkins wet and smelling like clorox. Again…. We don’t mind paying $$$ if we are satisfied, but the bill felt astronomical for what we ate!! To finish off the bad choice in restaurant we made, we visited the Bathroom, the napkin dispenser was empty, the garbage container was over flowing with dirty papers that you couldn’t close the lid. The only thing that stood out to my husband was the nice liquid hand soap. We had just recommended this place to a friend & business associate who asked us for her son’s wedding. We thought of our prior experience in years past. But we will retract our recommendation to her or anybody else after yesterday’s visit. Total mistake coming to Noma Beach by Redfish, except the fish dish!!
Valentine’s Day is supposed to feel romantic and memorable, but the rude and dismissive behavior from the staff ruined the entire evening. We were spoken to with attitude, rushed through interactions, and treated as if our presence was an inconvenience. For a restaurant that should pride itself on hospitality, this was incredibly disappointing. Hostess was incredibly rude and so was the bar/restaurant manager. We ended up leaving to another place.
I just left this restaurant in Miami and we are extremely disappointed, this was our second time and the last time in this place. The food was expensive, and I saw a large rat come out of the kitchen, run past me, and go back into a hole. This is completely unacceptable at this price point. Very disappointing experience. Edit: my husband and I are very healthy people who rarely get sick; well, we have been very sick of our stomachs since we ate at that place, (we havent eaten anywehre else since, we even work from home 100% and havent been out to anywhere) DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SICK!!
Very unhappy with the service. The waitress was good but we felt everything disorganized. First time here and the table and chairs were only for the day and they were uncomfortable and unstable. I ordered a Papardelle Lobster Pasta and it was everything but what I imagined and cold. I asked the waitress if it had a creamy sauce and he said yes and when it came besides that it was cold it didn’t had any sauce. And at the end I didn’t ate any pasta, and left hungry also paying $70 for a Pasta I didn’t ate, I was expecting them taking it out of the check but they decided to gave us dessert instead, that we didn’t wanted but accepted. We ordered chocolate cake and tiramisu and they gave us chocolate cake and tres leches cake which had coconut he didn’t mention and the person I was with has allergies to coconut!!!!!!!. I don’t recommend this place at all very bad experience and overpriced for very bad food, doesn’t cost what the plate really is $40 meatballs is insane. The only good thing is the view.
Me and my little sister were at the lagoon and we started to get hungry so we went to get take out food at Noma and when we ordered and were ready to pay, we could not believe that it was 46 dollars for a CEASER SALAD and FRENCH FRIES. We didn’t even include tip and we didn’t even add protein to our salad. Each item was over 10 bucks, the ceaser salad was $28 dollars and the fries were $14 and the portion of the fries was not worth 14 bucks. This is insane for mediocre food to be this expensive. Anyone could get way better value anywhere else.
