Sea Siam offers an exceptional dining experience with its unique combination of a sushi bar, restaurant, and a full bar. The food is absolutely amazing, featuring authentic Thai and Japanese flavors that shine in every dish. I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh and flavorful tuna rolls, perfectly cooked chicken noodles customized just the way I like them, and the heavenly Thai donuts to end the meal on a sweet note. The service was outstanding, with our server going above and beyond to cater to our every need, making us feel truly valued as guests. If you're in Pinecrest and looking for a place that combines great food, warm hospitality, and a vibrant ambiance, I highly recommend Sea Siam. You won't be disappointed!

I'm redoing my review of this place.. Sea Siam is definitely my favorite Thai/ Sushi go to restaurant! The yellow curry with chicken is so delicious! If I'm in the mood for sushi- I get this boat called Sushi-Mori A as pictured here. Everyone is so nice who works there. I also love their 80's tiki bar- that is nestled inside.

Great service and delicious food. I decided to stop by with my wife on a rainy day. The place was not crowded and we were seated quickly. We were attended promptly and the food wasn't far behind. My dumplings were delicious and then I had a medium rare sirloin steak with mushrooms, ginger and vegetables. I thoroughly enjoyed my food and the service was impeccable. It was my first time and I intend to go back again soon.

Haven't been to this place in years, moved away from Miami after Hurricane Andrew demolished my house. I've been coming to Sea Siam since they first opened in '85 with my whole family, let's clear up these bad reviews though, first of all people, this is a Thai food restaurant, and an authentic Thai food restaurant at that, not Japanese! Two different cultures!!! That being said, you wouldn't go to an Authentic Italian place and order a cheeseburger and beer, you would order the chicken marsala and a nice glass of wine! Order Thai food not Japanese, although I do love sushi, and the sushi being prepared there looked amazing! I still would not order the sushi! Second of all, they may close at 11pm, well I can tell you that being that I've worked in the food industry, and I've also eaten at alot of Asian restaurants, it's in their culture, you want good food and service, get there early, not an hr before they close, or 10min before they close! Who cares about the decor?! Really? People! Rating it because of that?! I care about the food in a restaurant, not the decor!!! It's actually pretty authentic Thai decor, and it hasn't changed since I first went there. I've eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants, none compare to Sea Siam! I was surprised to find out that they were still open after 31yrs, growing up I've never eaten Thai food as delicious as Sea Siam, I've eaten at Thai restaurants all up the East coast of Florida and the West coast of Florida, nothing compares to Sea Siam! I will definitely be back to Sea Siam on my next adventure to Miami!!!

Always great food and service. The ginger sauce shrimp was one I hadn't tried before - really good. Yellow chicken curry is always good. Ate too much & enjoyed every bite.

Charming place. Low lights. Wooden decorations are part of walls. Good Thailand food. But most of all, the staff is accommodating, polite. Wish I had not sat by the window. Better to sit looking into the restaurant. Lots of parking. Competitive prices. Glass of wine reasonably priced. ( No, I am not rich.) Good chocolate-in- chocolate volcano type cake. Two of us dined.

The Dragon roll here has been my favorite and I have yet to find another spot that does it better (for a good price might I add). The eel sauce they use is definitely better than a lot of places as well. The service is great, everyone is friendly. I have yet to try something here that I don’t like. When my family and I don’t know where to eat, Sea Siam is always our go to. My favorites are the dragon roll, chicken masaman, chicken satay, and honestly all of their desserts

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years. The food and the service have never disappointed. What started originally as a great place to take a date has now become one of the favorite places to take the family. The best Pad Thai around! Great sushi & more! The beef tataki has always been a favorite of mine. Love this place!!

This restaurant is amazing. I've never been disappointed. Went three times. Ordered the DragonRoll two times (with miso soup), and the Salmon Teriyaki once (with miso soup). So, I can't speak as to anything else on the menu as I haven't tried it, but the stuff I did try is absolutely delicious. Also I have no idea how they make their miso soup but it tastes like happiness in a bowl. The aesthetic of the restaurant is beautiful, good for a family atmosphere or a romantic type thing. Will be coming back.

Been coming to this place for more than 20 years iirc and it never disappoints. Their lunch menu is bargain. Try the crispy duck, ginger duck, etc. Love their soups. Great place to grab lunch with clients when taking them out to look for homes in the Pinecrest / Palmetto Bay / Falls Area.

Really nice place to get Sushi. The boat for two is a good value and, very tasty. Service is good in spite of being shorthanded (like everyone else). There's a full bar and, some interesting Siamese decorations. Seating is comfortable. Clearly, this is a Mamasan and Papasan operation and, pride in ownership is quite apparent. I would highly recommend Sea Siam.

M

It is a cozy romantic restaurant. Their food is Japanese Asian Thai infusion and absolutely delicious! The Ambiance is romantic quiet serene peaceful where you could enjoy your better half's company. The staff is warm and inviting and they give you your privacy while serving you up delicious dishes.

Best Thai lunch in the area. Lunch orders include soup, an egg roll, the entree and their tasty rice. Recommended. Update 10/9/2020 : During COVID, while some restaurants temporarily ended their lunch specials, Sea Siam kept theirs on the menu whether dining outside on the sidewalk, in-restaurant or, like I do: Take Out. Sea Siam's quality and serving size are both very good, even at lunch.

Sea Siam is an authentic dining experience that offers the best of Japanese and Thai cuisine, without sacrificing either. Their well rounded menu has something for everyone, from fresh sushi to hot and spicy curry. Definitely recommended. Don't forget to try the Thai donuts while you're there!

Oh this place was great. I was in the bar area and the bartender was very nice and comfortable. The shrimp soup was delicious, I also had an appetizer that was shaped like little bags can't remember the name but they were awesome. The dumplings were great too. Can't wait to try more things from the menu. I will most definitely return.

Top notch food, good portions, fresh sushi, desserts are delicious. I had an overall good experience, my compliments to the chefs and owner for quality and taste. The ambience is good for a date night being both aesthetically pleasing and very affordable with upscale taste and feel.

Went for Thai food. They also have Japanese and Sushi. The Pad Thai Noodles were great. Chicken Curry was great as well. Had a Temaki Tuna and no complaints. Headed back next week for more sushi.

This place is a delight for everything from noodle dishes to sushi. The food is wonderful and decently priced. The atmosphere is calm and polite. There is also a bar separated by doors so the main room is kid friendly! The décor is beautiful and intriguing. Currently during COVID they are now (5/5/21) offering dining in. They have removed several tables and spaced them out appropriately. They also offer take out and pick up though as they always have. I've been coming here for several years now and they are yet to disappoint.

It was a pretty good experience, great customer service, I 100% recommend. I got the fried rice with chicken, amazing. They misheard my mom and gave her pad Thai with chicken when she wanted beef. But overall it was a great experience.

Hands down this is the best place in the area for sushi which is always extremely fresh, very interesting rolls to try out, and most importantly the Thai food menu is to die for! I personally love the curry soups that are kind of spicy with lime flavored and cilantro! Service is always on point and prices are a bit high but great for what you get in terms of portions, I always bring something home whenever I eat there.

Absolutely loved my experience at Sea Siam! This place is a hidden gem for anyone craving flavorful Thai and Japanese cuisine. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced—savory, slightly sweet, and full of flavor. I also tried one of their curry dishes and it was rich, creamy, and had just the right amount of heat. The sushi rolls were super fresh and beautifully presented. Portions are generous, prices are really reasonable, and the service is warm and welcoming. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to come back before you’ve even finished your meal. Highly recommend

A great hidden gem, one of the only locally owned restaurants in the area. It ain’t cheap, but it’s amazing. Service was phenomenal, food quality was the best. Can’t wait to go back and make this part of our rotation. The red curry and miso soup were our favorites!

We went for a late bite and sat at the bar. Our server, Neo was great! The ambiance is really nice and cool. We ordered our drinks and appetizers. Sea Siam is a Pinecrest staple. The Thai food is delicious and the sushi is very good too. On this particular visit I had a volcano roll and my dining partner had a Dragon Roll. We both really enjoyed our meals, and as always the staff was very attentive and took great care of us. Most people don't know it, but there's a bar on the side of the restaurant which can be very fun at night. I'll definitely be back.

One reason I rated this place a four-star was because the water made my throat really scratchy and it looked like it was dirty the cups look like they were dirty. With the California rolls it came with 10 pieces they were pretty good size not small not eight pieces thank you for giving us a good proportion of California rolls. They were just decent they weren't all that they had imitation crab cucumber whatever comes with a California roll that's cheap it was decent rolls. Nothing too crazy.

Their Pad Thai was good, but not excellent. They give you rice to accompany it. I requested more sauce in order to make it moist. The shrimp was of a good size, and the noodles were al dente. Ambient / Atmosphere is small and cozy.

This place was actually pretty good. The flavor of the curries (green and Panang) was spot on, the service was fast and friendly. The Thai doughnuts are by far THE BEST I’ve had in Miami. I would recommend this restaurant.

They are making the sushi smaller, with less quantity for a higher price.

Z

Great place! Super pretty atmosphere and art, and the food was very good. Some of the sashimi tasted a bit bland, with no flavor at all, and even tasted store bought, but with soy sauce and wasabi, it made it better. Had a great time!

J
Janet Kunde

The staff was very pleasant. New decor on the walls and very clean looking. New lunch menu, very colorful with pictures of selections available. I had pad Thai, it was delicious, seasoned very well and spice level was just as I ordered. Enjoyed my lunch very much and had enough to take some home to enjoy again.

N

Always enjoy the fried rice from here along with the chili smaller fish. The fish is a great touch to the meal, very tasty and good sauce. Being there a little late, the staff kept making a point that the kitchen closes at 10:15 and kept checking on the table. I know it’s close to closing time but it’s customary to keep your customer that’s already in satisfied.

Edit: I came again in April 2025. I had a bowl of tom kha gai soup. The flavor was *amazing*, one of the best I've had. But $8 for the tiniest bowl (maybe 1 cup of soup) is waayyy too expensive. It's OK. I had a bento box with chicken teriyaki. The chicken was good. But the tempura was, well, I'd call it fried veggies. Definitely not a light and crispy coating. My friend enjoyed her sushi (though it did come out 5-10 mins after my meal), so maybe sushi is the way to go. Not really worth a repeat visit though.

Great Thai flavors, and they have some good lunch specials. My favorite meal is the chicken pad thai with a Thai Tea to drink. The lunch special comes with soup and an egg roll.

K
Kelsey Griffin

“Eh” Thai food. Our server was less than friendly. Asked for the lunch duck with green curry instead of red and was told no. Egg roll seemed to be frozen (very mushy inside) and chicken rice soup was almost a porridge. Entrees were okay.... almost undercooked potato and a pretty untraditional yellow curry sauce. Used to be much better... we left disappointed and probably won’t be back.

S
Steve Pollack

The tastiest red curried vegetables I've ever had! Would give five stars if not for the long 45 minute wait after ordering. Also the place was freezing cold. When the excellent food finally arrived, they were quite stingy with the rice. Some of us never got rice. Also there was a sizeable chunk of chicken in my so called vegetarian dish.

s
sophia c

i love the sushi here but they clearly don’t care about PAYING customers. i always order from here and today they really had the audacity to charge 4 extra dollars just for a side of spicy mayo…. really ridiculous and the guy taking care of takeout was extremely rude and lazy he wouldn’t even bother getting up and giving me my food he just pointed at it and made me get it. honestly disappointed with my service recently and the ridiculous price for a side of sauce considering they have a Sign on the table that says extra sauces may cost $.50 extra

A
Adrian Enriquez

The in room dining experience was excruciatingly painful. The server was frazzled and lost, likely from poor training, poor staff placement from management, and zero busing support. Either way it translated into a subpar dining experience. Our table wasn't never cleared, dishes and silverware had to eventually be collected by our party. Desert? Only 10 minutes after the check but of course.

M
Manny Petrakis

The food there this time wasn't as good as its been in the past. Even though it wasn't very busy, the table service was slow. I believe these were inexperienced waiters that just need more training. They were really polite and responded quickly when called. My wife who is picky and has eaten there several times, said there must be a different chef tonight. The restaurant is clean and has alit of nice decorations. I'm going to give them another shot in the near future.

P
Paul Casas

This place has gone a little down hill since I first started coming here. It use to look cleaner and the service was WAY BETTER. Our server didn’t really ask us for our drinks prior and I basically kind of had to flag him down for service…The food was good though. Wasn’t unsafe to consume. Our server had a weird demeanor. I did do the math wrong for the tip and it happens. It was a hefty check so rightfully so, he did come up to me and kind of questioned as why the tip was low. Which is something that a server normally doesn’t do, but it was understandable. I did realize my wrong doing and corrected my mistake. However him hovering over me looking at me do it completely ruined the experience and I probably wouldn’t go back just for that. The added audacity with the mediocre service just made it awkward.

Sea Seam offers flavorful Thai BBQ chicken wings and tasty miso soup. However, the house salad lacks ginger flavor, and the spicy tuna roll disappoints with its kimchi sauce. JB roll is average.

We've been coming to this restaurant for 15 years; this is the worst service ever, Andrew was our server never came to take our order. I had to go to the hosted. Had an attitude and never came back to ask if everything was OK or to refill our drinks.

O
Odalis Ramos

I was always fond of this restaurant and have been going for years, but yesterday had loosy service. Our server and the suchi chef had a viable disagreement and she disappeared to the back I supose to vent. We waited to get served and even another person had to come bring us our food since she was nowhere to be found, and our rice was brought to our table almost 30 mins after they had brought the other items. Very disappointed with the service.

L
Legacyy

Probably one of the worst sushi experiences I’ve ever had. The restaurant is an icebox as soon as you walk in. It took over an hour to get our food and when we finally got it was wrong. Rice was mushy but the sashimi was fresh. It looked like they were prioritizing take out orders as the patrons who sat in were a captive audience. Manager just complained about everything including the chefs and would try but overall we wound up taking everything to go and getting out of there as fast as possible.

J
Jackie Wimberly

So disappointed..the dishes we get there everytime has changed! Smaller portions, regular white mushrooms instead of straw mushrooms and barely any ginger flavor.Way too much sugar. We have to find a new place.

W
Wayne G

It’s sad how this establishment has incrementally declined in service over the years. It closed earlier in 2019 for health dept violations and although they continue to get business, they don’t understand what’s expected to deliver excellent customer service. It’s takes a long time to get waited on, the waiters are impatient and my biggest issue is their take-out business takes priority and the dining room customers suffer. The bathrooms are not attended to either. Don’t bother coming here & waste your valuable time.

A
Alok Kumar

We randomly went to this place for lunch without checking the reviews. The food was just tolerable. It was not terrible but below average. How can you screw up egg roll and egg fried rice? Just bland food and a bit run down environment. There are so many other options available. Why bother? Would not repeat.

M
Maja T.

I started coming here about seven years ago. In those seven years, I've come to this location about once a year. It had always been good food and an enjoyable time up until recently. The lady at the front did not acknowledge us as we walked in and was not friendly showing us to our table. She didn't greet us or say anything. Only pointed and said which booth. We waited about 10 minutes before someone came. Same treatment. No introduction, no greeting, and even looked at our receipt to see how much we tipped at the end of the dinner. It was a very cold-like attitude coming from both the hostess and the waiter. The only plus was the young man who brought the food out. I believe he may have been the busboy filling in as a temporary waiter. He was polite and very nice with a welcoming attitude unlike the others. The food was terrible. I was surprised at how mediocre the food had become. We've always ordered the same set of food and this time, it lacked its usual flavors and spice. The serving portions have also decreased by 50%! Overall, our dishes averaged 2.5 stars and service was a 1 star. The young man who brought our food should be promoted as a waiter because he was the only decent person in that restaurant.

My go-to Thai for decades. The last few meals have been disappointing, but I hoped this was not a trend. Pad Woonsen is my favorite, and I have to acknowledge, it's now a trend. Very little chicken, only a few mushrooms, lots of noodles and in general...very dry.

Sea Siam London Square Kendall. We have been coming to this restaurant for years. Unfortunately, tonight we had an horrible experience. The food was extremely salty, I asked the waiter to take my plate back(rice noodles with shrimp)because it was drenched in soy sauce. He kindly apologized and bought me a new order. Sadly, they had just rinse my noodles and re-cook them with less soy sauce. It came back looking like mush! They rinsed my original plate and refried them with less salt. It was a total disaster. I must say, for the first time in many years I am highly disappointed with the quality of food that was served tonight. I do understand the price to maintain a restaurant has increased tremendously, but I would rather they decrease their portions and keep the quality. So sorry to say that I think we will have to stop attending this restaurant. I was extremely disappointed with the service and the taste of the food. I gave it to Stines because the beer was good and so is the tuna tartare that’s it everything else trash.

I have been going to this restaurant for years but today ended in the worst experience I've ever had there. As my boyfriend was paying the hostess (says she's the manager) embarrassed him by questioning his tip amount and say that's all. He was paying some card and some cash. But he did not place the cash down before she rudely said that's it. That is the poorest most embarrassing encounter we have ever experienced. Probably will not return after tonight. The service is not even what it used to be.

This restaurant has excellent food and a good atmosphere; I especially like the crispy duck. However, the reason for which I issue this rating is because of the pettiness of whoever is managing this place. I invited my family for a birthday and when I mentioned that there is a birthday so that they'd bring a small dessert and sing, (as I had previously), the staff said that if I wanted that they sing Happy birthday and bring a dessert, I would have to buy a full dessert. I may be old-fashioned, or restaurants are simply becoming more parsimonious (tight, frugal), but I was taken aback especially with the fact that I just paid nearly $250 and the waitstaff add themselves a 20% tip automatically, which I do not feel the waiter deserved. I do not blame Andrew the waiter's unwillingness directly, but his management needs to acknowledge that this act of pettiness cost the restaurant my patronage, a patronage of 20 years. As the Spanish saying goes, "lo barato sale caro".

The past 3 experiences for lunch have been bad. The food was good, but the service was lacking. I don't know why they only seem to schedule 1 server who gets confused easily and 1 runner/bus boy. Today got it meal LONG before we got utensils, the server always looks like she is on a leisurely stroll even though people are calling her as she passes them. I don't know what is going on

Food smelled bad. I had the honey chicken which is not your normal fried honey chicken. The smell was horrendous, which ruined my appetite. Quality has gone down from previously. Server was good.

Definitely not what it used to be. So disappointed. Have been dining here for many years. Won't be going back. Quality of food has gone down, service was nothing to brag about, hostess/cashier couldn't be bothered. No wonder it was empty on a Saturday night. I was so hoping...

We came in with a service animal, the host immediately asked me for a tag . I asked for clarification. She stated that I had to show proof of my service animal. I stated that was illegal. She went to speak to the owner , who never showed face . Then she proceeded to send us to sit in the back of the restaurant on own. I asked she seat us. The server came after we waived him down , only served water . 2 sets of silverware for 3 people. We ordered apps and soup . Had to wave him down again to order food. No sauces, etc . Had to wave him down again to order dessert . Had to wave him down again to get the check. Poor service, below average food to say the least . SUPER NOT SERVICE PET FRIENDLY. Truly a shame , it used to be a local gem.

I've been coming here for more than 10 years and never have I ever had bad food bad service yes but food was always amazing until I found bugs in my rice not one or 2 but multiple bugs . Disgusting never again they have poor ways of putting away the food and gave me brown rice with bugs I threw it all up disgusting never eating out again and I would come to this establishment almost every day and deal with the manager Paula that is extremely rude they need to put the food away better and the attitude needs to change I'm disgusted and sad about the experience that I had today and will not be coming back.

Pathetic customer service. Avoid this place if you want an enjoyable experience. My wife's family have been going to Sea Siam for years. We went there last night and were treated terribly by their bartender. It was a busy night so we went to the bar to wait for our table. We saw the bartender serving someone a drink, so we waited for him to attend to us. We waited for about 10 minutes while he checked his cell phone, ignored us and walked away from the bar. When he came back and we asks for a drink, he said "I can't deal with you now. If you're waiting for a table wait in the other room." I responded with "Ok, then we'll take our business elsewhere". He replied with "go ahead, please do". Completely rude, unacceptable and obnoxious behavior. We will never go back to this restaurant so they just lost some regulars with his pathetic behavior. Get a clue on how to treat customers or don't be in the service business.

Take out order- their phone wasn’t working so we went there to order. They have one overworked person taking phone orders, managing takeout, and running credit cards. Took 10 minutes to get her attention to place our order, and was told 45 minutes wait. 45 minutes later was told “I don’t know, much more time”. Waited 15 minutes for more clarification. When pressed was told “ I don’t know, maybe 30 minutes”. Currently going home without food an hour later

EDIT 9/2020: tried to give this place another chance - ordered take out from here one more time one month after our horrible experience: again was told 30-45 mins and it was over 2 hours for our food. We are patient people but this is just SO bad. We are done with this place unfortunately. I have tried to order from here regularly because the food is good and it is nearby, but the wait time for the food is just horrible. They tell you 30-40 mins for pick up and I have waited up to 2 hours for my food. Even dining in before the pandemic would take forever. I have tried ordering on week days, weekends and at different times of the night and the wait time is consistently too long. We just can’t do it anymore. Unfortunately I’m not able to recommend this place anymore. Stay away unless you’ve got endless time to wait for your food.

I was really disappointed since this place had such good reviews. We ended up paying $80 for meals for two adults and two kids. It was a large amount of food but the blandest Thai I’ve ever had. My husband got the Pad Thai and it was almost like it was a plate of noodles without sauce.

Went to have lunch on a Sunday, about 5 tables were occupied near the front by the windows...my Fiancee and I were ushered to an area in the back of the restaurant between the bathroom and entrance to the kitchen behind a partition...when I enquired why we were being seated here I was told by the hostess " so you can be private"...we never requested privacy....we decided we were going to go along to see how this would play out...subsequently more couples came in and were immediately seated up front..near the windows...we ended up being the only people seated in this area....we felt so " caged in "...anyway the servers and food was good...needless to say, this would be our first and last visit to the restaurant. We felt we were racially profiled by the hostess....I suggest the management needs to conduct a class on diversity.

This place is proof that if you have a good location, you can serve garbage, without any attention to detail or service standards. Should get negative stars. The food is an insult even to the tacky decor. The place has been open forever. Decades ago it was very authentic, genuine, and bustling. Over the last few years, the decline has been noticeable. Now, the place is run by teenagers, and the food tastes like mall food court Chinese food. Such a shame. The decor and insides have not been updated in what feels like decades. Poor quality seating, mismatched Marshalls art on the wall. Photocopied flyers advertising chicken tenders at the tables, taped to the walls. Even the ceiling tiles are a disaster at this point, mismatched and falling down. It's gone past the point of even being convenient in the neighborhood. Not worth it.

Yesterday my party of 7 came here after an 8 hour long and hot day of fishing for Peacocks. We got seated immediately and waited for over 25 minutes before leaving across the parking lot to another restaurant. My whole party felt awkward, uncomfortable, disrespected, and ignored. During our whole wait, we never was giving water. At the very least, a waiter or an employee should have come to greet or give an explanation. Walking us to our table and ignoring us for 25 minutes is all I need to know about how this restaurant operates. We figured, if they're taking this long, how long would our food take after our orders. Maybe another 8 hours. This restaurant has to be one of the worst customer service I've ever experienced!

It hurts my heart to write this review. I’ve been coming here over 20-years. I have so many amazing memories, but sadly it has gone completely downhill. I’ll make this very brief and to the point. I ordered a vegetarian fried rice and a Thai tea ($20) and within 1-hour of eating it, I was running to the bathroom to vomit and fill in the blank. I am sick. This food was 100% contaminated.

I am extremely disappointed in the service I was given at this restaurant. I have been coming here for the past 4 years and have never been treated this unprofessionally. When I arrived, the young lady at the front desk didn't even acknowledge me, nor my family, just led us to where we were sitting and left. I was astonished at the way we were being treated. The food wasn't that bad, but the dishes looked very dirty, and the water gave me a sore throat. I found a NAIL in my sushi roll. To say I'm upset is an understatement, I am FURIOUS. Shame on the young lady at the front and to your restaurant.

First I'm not a Karen. I hardly leave bad reviews. Me and family are very foodie. I been to many thai restaurants. But this is one of THE Worst restaurant we been to. The service is THE WORST. We saw the review and thought to give it a try. We order Pad Thai (Spicy) which was low on SPICE and no peanuts. Green curry which was water down and full of green beans, No other veggies. Volcano Chicken, Chicken was so hard that it was in eatable. And so sweet while it was supposed to be spicy. Red Curry, Water down and sweet Fried rice, Fully sticky and tastless. AND UPON LEAVING ON THIS WORST SERVICE THEY WERE NO IMTRESTED ON FEEDBACK AND I TOP FOR THAT THEY CHARGED US $28 GRATITUDE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

We visited this restaurant on Sunday at about 2pm for lunch, it was not many people in, but only 1 waiter, who simed to be extremely busy serving, taking orders, and cleaning tebles all by himself poor guy. We were camming to this restaurant for many many years, and due to shelll fish alergies, we always asked to do shushi boat with fish only no shell fish, this time waiter said it will be upcharge to change to fish only, we said Ok and its usually $4 , but he return back and said its $15 upcharge, we call manager and women came, and said yes there is no substitudes allowed , and to change to all fish will be upcharge $15, on the item price $30 ridiculous. She also completely desregarded this change needed due to alergy to shell fish. So we decided not to argee with her, and asked to not substitute anything just bring the ahell fish pieces on the separate plate. At the end there was ONLY 2 pieses (1srimp, and 1emitation crab) , and to chage this 2 pieses due to alergy was a big deal of $15 upchrge. I belive it was complete disregard to my alergies, poor customer service, and just simple GREED . We ordered food for almost $100, received poor slow service, and food : Tomka soup came with no spices, we ordered 1 mild spicy, and 1 not spicy, so both arrived not spicy, when we told this to woman manager, she just bringed a plastic cup with hot peper, so my friend had to add it , and since she is not a cook, she did not know how much of it will make it mild spicy, and good she did not put all was in a cup, because as putting a bid was allready too much spicy. Also Pad thie was over salty , and raw fish sushi did not tast fresh.Overall expirience was terrible, the only good was a botle of Perrier. They were much customer friendlier place, and food was better quality. They undermind their customers who were dining there for over 20 years, not good for busnes. We were very unhappy with our food, and poor service, but manager she did not care.

Is asking for sauce too much to ask for? I ordered my 4 sushi rolls to go. I asked the lady who was charging me if I could get extra eel sauce. She said “the eel sauce is inside” which it usually is but I wanted extra… I then asked for spicy Mayo, she said “there’s nothing there that you have that needs spicy mayo”… Ridiculous behavior, go do another task that doesn’t require hospitality because clearly you’re not good at it. I noticed on my way home that there is no eel sauce in ANY of my rolls. I had to drive to Publix to buy eel sauce and spicy mayo. I’ve been here many times but they’ve now lost a customer… if you want the same food options but a better atmosphere go to Rin Connection on 137 ave and 120 street, they used to be owned by the same company, but their customer service is better.

It is with great disappointment that I write this review, as we have been loyal patrons of this restaurant, having spent upwards of $1,000 over the years. However, our most recent visit made it clear that this once-favorite establishment has dramatically declined in both service and quality. The chicken dish I ordered was riddled with unpleasant cartilage, making it not only inedible but an affront to my expectations. The flavor, or lack thereof, was similarly disheartening—it was bland, poorly cooked, and left an awful aftertaste that lingered long after the meal. To make matters worse, the service was equally dismal. Our waiter, was inattentive, rude, and made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Her demeanor throughout the evening suggested a complete lack of care or hospitality. When we brought our concerns to the attention of the manager we were met with indifference. Her dismissive attitude further cemented the fact that the restaurant no longer cares for its customers. Any sense of responsibility or desire to remedy the situation was utterly absent. It’s sad to see a place we once cherished fall so far by the wayside. After this experience, we will never return, and I caution anyone considering dining here to think twice. It’s a tragedy to witness such a sharp decline in what was once a beloved establishment.

We went there many times. But this time the food was horrible and the service as well. We ordered the yellow and red curry mild with chicken. Both curries were super spicy. The chicken tastes stale. We told the waitress and the manager. No sorry, expect don't come back, was their answer. At 1:30 PM the place wasn't crowded, there were only 3 more people there. It's absolutely not worth the money or aggravation. We won't even consider the place again, nor recommend at all.

We have been going to Sea Siam for over 20 years. We are so disappointed over the last couple of years. We do not know if the restaurant is still being run by the same original owners. The service is terrible and the food quality is not the same. We have been there several times and the waiter is rushing you out before you are able to finish your food. In one occasion the restaurant was about to close in 30 minutes and they were turning off the lights as we are finishing our last bit of our drinks. They gave us a To go container to put our beer in so we would leave.

Ordered the chicken Pad Thai noodles and a Kirin beer. The Pad Thai had very little chicken meat and few vegetables. The food overall tasted bland. Over priced at $18. The beer was half frozen so I asked for another. Even the tap water tasted weird. The place felt dirty. I wont be coming back.

We have been going to this restaurant for years but there are some recent changes that were a big surprise. A glass of wine now costs almost double what we used to pay. Additionally the hot and sour soup recipe has changed. Exotic ingredients for this soup are non-existent. The portion has diminished but costs the same. Very disappointed. We will need to find another place for our weekly friends get-togethers

I’ve been a loyal customer for over 20 years, primarily dining in the restaurant. Sinad, the owner, knows us well. When dining in, rice, which is a very low-cost staple, is included at no extra charge. However, when ordering through Postmates, rice is not included and is instead charged as an add-on, even though restaurants purchase rice in bulk at a lower cost. If rice is included at no charge when dining in, it should not be an additional charge for delivery orders. This practice feels inconsistent and has made me reconsider continuing my business with Sea Siam.
