This place deserves more than just 5 stars. This is the BEST place for chicharron. If you haven’t had chicharron, it’s chunky pieces of pork and skin, super fried until the skin is crispy. Here, the flavor of the chicharron is incredible. You will never have something so tasty, so delicious, so crunch, and so excellent anywhere else in Miami! They sell chicharron by the pound, and for 1 person, 1 pound is plenty. It is sold at $11.99/lb. Don’t sleep on the pork sandwich (pan con lechon). This is going to be the other mind blowing item here! For $6.99, this sandwich is huge and stuffed with juicy pork. The pork is a variety of crispy, fatty, and tender pieces. It’s so good and needs no sauce or anything! I also want to mention that staff are excellent, friendly, and super helpful. The lady at the front quickly helped me understand how their restaurant worked. All the staff making the food had smiles on their faces and were friendly as well. As a recap, the best chicharron in the US is here. I also would get their pork sandwich and maybe a guava and cheese taqueño or pastelito.

The food was excellent the Pan con Lechón was on point tasted so good like. David one of the associate there gave us some chicharrones to try. They where fresh and also excellent. Definitely worth a try. I for one will be one of their regulars Just a suggestion, but ish they had more room for tables.

We had a late EASTER dinner. I called the Butcher Shop for their stuffed chicken breasts. They were perfect! Delicious!! Everyone raved and my grandson had a fine lunch for school today. Couldn’t be happier!!

Today I made a great discovery. A butcher shop that makes a version of a Porchetta. At this Juan Carlos, behind the counter, told they call it Bucheron. For a Porchetta lover this was heavenly. The taste of it was just perfect. I highly recommend this place. We arrived in the morning looking for a typical breakfast but come out eating my new favorite here. The cafe con leche was also made perfectly. Thank you Juan Carlos.

This is hands down the best spot for turkey and lechon for your holiday gatherings. I don't even bother dirting up my kitchen when they do it the best. Also their pan con bistec is my favorite. Love it here

Been here a few times for lunch. Sandwiches are sizable and tasty. Haven't yet tried their butchered meats or ceviches, but it's just a matter of time. Rumor is they are going to open another location farther south and we look forward to trying it out.

ordered with a friend on uber eats! we were wanting to place an order for days!! got the chicharron, side of white rice, side of black beans, tostones & the columbian empanada! the chicharron was the highlight of the meal-crispy, soft on the inside, TOO GOOD! the columbian empanada was a nice surprise, corn shell & meat!

As the name implies, this is a butcher shop; this place is a butcher shop that sells hot food (and caters too!). And the hot food is VERY good!—-the Pan con Lechón, the Ropa Vieja, the Chicharrón, the Steak Sandwich and the Breakfast Sandwich all get 5 stars in my book.

I am a gringo; the chicharrons I had were out of this world. If I were on death row, it would be my last meal. Amazing!

Owner really shows off his chops here. Friendly staff makes great sandwiches or lunch plates and the butchers provide quality meats at a fair price. They have catering services which I plan on utilizing in the future as well. Everything in the place is mouthwatering. Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite.

The owner helped me with chicharones & I wanted to tip him not knowing he was the owner truly a hardworking person leading by example. Very humble and old school excellent customer service. Will be coming back here oh and not to mention best pork rhines ever!!! All there food is amazing.

This isn't what is considered a sit down fancy restaurant. There are places to sit and eat more than half the people get there food to go. What this place is excellent at is, anything butchered. If yiu need excellent hamburger, steaks, ribs, chicken, this is a great place to get those items. As a restaurant there Cuban sandwich is dream worthy. There fried plantains aren't loaded up with corn syrup and a lot of other things that are bad for you. There food is made fresh in house and it shows. The mojo steak, and stews, are among my favorite. They are also excellent for there catering services, and family trays of food. The owner is usually on site too. I've been coming here for over 30 years now.

I will give this place a 5 star overall and a ONE STAR for equipment. I been coming here for few years and I truly enjoy their food. I stop here every day on my way to work, for my cafe, cafe con leche and may cuban toast. for the last 30 days when i ask for toast well done the girls tell me that the toaster is not working properly and that it will not be well done or crispy, I think is time for the owners to invest bin new toaster!!! My breakfast is $7.40 plus tip every morning for 4 days per week $29.60 weekly, monthly my tab adds on to 651.20. I will stop coming here until the toaster is replaced. the purpose of this review is for all who stop here and want their sandwiches or bread well toasted don't waste your time you not going to get it!!! hope management reads this review and takes responsibility for the faulty equipment. I want to take a moment and add to my previous review. I went back today and order a pan con lechon, and it was amazing as always and WELL TOASTED!!!! I'm sorry that it took a review to get the owners to fixed. I understand the owner is mad at me for the review. Please accept my apologies, but those machines needed to get fixed.

This place transports you straight to the Miami Cuban scene of the 1970s, and I genuinely feel at home here. The staff is an absolute delight, and the food is authentic. Prices are a bit steep, but that’s the norm in Miami these days. Let me elaborate, you can’t go wrong here. The atmosphere alone will captivate you. But trust me, you’ll want to return more often. Try their pan con lechón; it’s an absolute must-try!

They smelled of oil and were seemingly not fresh. The chips were not crisp & over soaked in oil as if they were not properly drained. Would not order them again. They went straight to the disposal.

The ceviche is good, made with the right amounts of vegetables and spices and the shrimp was yummy and the right size. You can fill up on a real meal here also.

The pan con lechon and media noches are wonderful. Not really a place to eat-in as they only have a narrow counter against the wall with chairs.

They were packaged well and smelled delicious.I was really pleased with the yummy samples of Ceviche w/octopus & without. I purchased a cup & will return for seconds. The food is really good, although it suffered a bit with the pandemic the food is still good. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO YOUR BILL!!! We got charged $99.99 dollars for a Burguer that was supposed to be $17.00. When we saw the bill it was really high and no one checked since “it’s the new normal to be high” it still made no sense to me when I got my bill to sign for $152. I noticed that one of the burguers that should have been $17 was at $99. I got the waitress to refund the 99 But we were still overcharged since top is already included and she never recalculated the full bill so we were overcharged $40 bucks after considering a 20% tip (which is quite decent). So please be extra careful with your bills and check over before handing your card! But the food! Is still very good, not $99 worth but still good!

We were treated very poorly today. The lady that took our orders, was rude. The daughter of the owner was walking around and saw I was arguing with the employee, she approached me and asked me : What’s your problem. I was appaled. When I brought my pan con bistec to eat it, there was a dragon fly in it 🤢 by the way, we were regulars in this restaurant, we will never go back .

Sadly I have to do this. I have been going to the Butcher Shop for many years, and I was surprised today. Worst Pan con Bistec! Meat was extremely chewy and hard. Could not bite into the meat. It was soggy and sandwich was falling apart. So disappointing and gross!

First time visiting because of friends recommendation and this place is awful in customer service. Not to mentioned pricey for the same cafeteria food I can get at any local Cuban restaurant or cafeteria at that. Not coming back because price would not matter if service was top notch. I will not recommend this place.

Food is ok, nothing to rave about. Price is high for what you get, the smell will leave with you in your clothes and hair. The ladies that work there are in a rush due to the owner pushing them to be faster than they can. Save yourself, go somewhere else!

Worst experience ever. The owner was super nasty and rude to the point to yelling at us, slamming the door to our faces and the only question we asked is why our order was taking so long to be processed when two days in advance. They told me to be at certain time at 12:30pm and make wait 50 minutes. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

If your business advertises that it closes at a particular time, you should not close your doors a half-hour earlier. This business claims to close at 6pm Mondays through Saturdays, and at 3pm on Sundays. I was informed that it is their standard practice to close 30 minutes before the actual closing times that they advertise. Don't advertise a closing time that is not the actual closing time! That's false advertising!

On top of waiting over 10 mins in a hot food line to only order a scrambled egg with bacon sandwich I ask her after its on the presser to add mayonnaise lady’s horrible emotional expression is super unprofessional I will never return here to wait and get attitude. I have seen them defrosting meats in the back under the sun. I you are not sure how bad that is look it up. They should have a sign that displays "eat at your own risk" posted in bold letters or "coma con precausion"

I use to come here all the time but I have stopped coming as much because they don’t care about the customers. They will see you there waiting and they won’t even acknowledge you. I understand when they are busy and I never complain but I just went and waited for 10 minutes and no one said anything to me.

I normally only leave positive feedback and post 5 Star reviews believing if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. I rarely take the time to post negative reviews, but this experience warranted it and other should know, at the very least for ownership and management to take action on. Sad when you walk in, no one greets or acknowledges you, you finally put in your order, you walk up to the register with $30 worth of food, and the cashier doesn't even greet you as you hand her your food and your credit card, and worse, walks away to make a cup of coffee for someone at the window, and keeps you waiting for 5 minutes before she even rings you up. So management and ownership, if you're reading this, hopefully you'll take action because some people drive very long distances based on your reviews just to be disappointed by the service. Willing to pay your higher prices and overlook the conditions of your establishment, but not willing to return because of the poor service.

I ordered this on Uber eats for the first time chicharrones with tamal. Horrible. It was bad and old. The tamal was cold and dry. They ask for $22 for this basket. Crazy!
