I had such a great experience at this sushi spot that also serves amazing bowls! I ordered one of their signature bowls (pictured) and it was absolutely delicious — crispy, perfectly seasoned protein over fluffy rice, with sweet corn, fresh cucumber, scallions, and a flavorful sauce topped with sesame seeds. The ingredients tasted super fresh, and everything was well balanced. The presentation was beautiful and the portion was generous too. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

Best sushi spot in Miami - such a hidden gem!! I’ve eaten here at least once a week for the last 7 months and have never had a bad experience or a bad menu item. Great for a nice date night, a quick bite, or even a fun happy hour. Vibes are always on point and you can tell they are meticulous about ingredient quality. I’ve seen the fish they fly in, and there’s a freshness to it that I don’t experience at a lot of the sexier/flashier spots in town. Plus, you watch them make everything right in front of you, so you know it’s clean and made with love. The Chirashi bowl is one of the most well-rounded dishes I’ve ever had. Truly a next level poke bowl with tuna, salmon, kampachi, and ikura. Unreal. And I’m not usually one for fried food, but the crispy salmon rice is divine. Even basics like the spicy tuna roll are outstanding! Hand Roll Mondays deserve a special mention as well. They’re only every other week, but the addition of a live DJ and a new unique cocktail makes for an amazing start to the week. This is the spot!

I am updating this review to reflect another visit in November 2024. The food was consistent with our first visit, and the attention from the associates was great both times. This is a great sushi spot with fresh sushi and great friendly service and attention to detail. This time, we tried one of their Poke Bowls, which was perfect for sharing. We also tried their lunch salmon tataki, their beef dumplings, and a few other items. They have a great happy hour from 5 to 7 pm daily, including a few food and drink selections. Check out their Instagram for events and specials. Also, this restaurant is located in Upper Buena Vista with design district shopping and coffee to enjoy nearby before or after trying Yoso Sushi.

The perfect little sushi spot, in an amazing nook, at the end of the design district. For the quality of this fish, the prices are beyond reasonable. My sushi chef Luis crafted some crudo that was jaw droppingly delicious. The freshness of each ingredient really comes through in each bite. Such a cute spot for a casual lunch. Food is incredible. I recommend the yellowtail crispy rice and the chefs selection of nigiris. Do not skip out on the salmon belly nigiri. I have not tried the dessert yet but this spot has never disappointed me.

Deniz and her team are great. While the food remains true to Japanese roots, they use many creative garnishes and techniques. The crispy rice was amazing, all nigiri bites were great with the perfect sushi rice temperature. Deniz also changes her sake list quite often to make sure everyone gets to experience different styles. 10\10.

Amazing little spot in a little Buena Vista oasis. Arrived right around when happy hour started (5pm). Ordered house sake (very good!), a truffle ponzu salmon poke boll, butter krab, California roll, and the cheesecake dessert. Every item was flavorful and fresh. The service was great and helpful with suggestions. Even though we were full, we were strongly encouraged to try the cheesecake and glad we did! I don’t have a strong sweet tooth and this dessert was delicious- not super sweet, creamy, and a great end to our meal. We had our two dogs and sat outside and were comfortable and enjoyed everything about our dinner. We’ll be back! Thank you!

I started with the special of the day—the sando—and an order of beef dumplings. Unfortunately, the dumplings were underwhelming, lacking the depth of flavor I had hoped for. This had me concerned about the rest of the meal, so I shared my thoughts with the chef. To my surprise, he took it as a challenge and generously offered a roll on the house. That’s when things took a turn for the better. I sampled the torched salmon, spicy yellowtail, and spicy tuna rolls—each one outshining the last. The standout was the tuna roll, featuring an incredible passionfruit sauce that added a perfect balance of brightness and heat. Chefs CJ and Lewis truly elevate the experience, making guests feel right at home with their hospitality and skill. Despite the initial hiccup, the sushi won me over, and I’ll definitely be returning for some of the best rolls in Miami.

I have tried calling multiple times. While food and service were good they charged me 35$ for something I did not order. Would love a refund but no one answers and calls just disconnect. Update** refund was made but disappointed it even took place. As I emailed them he judged and said I should have checked the receipt. I let him know I asked for one but they were out of printer paper.. and didn’t respond after that then when I followed up on refund after he requested I update my review he gave the refund. I came in at 7:45 PM on Sunday. Only to be told to sit outside because the shoe box sized restaurant didn’t have enough space for me to sit inside. It was pretty cold outside so i left. Wouldn’t recommend
