Hands down, they serve the best Lechon (Roast Pork) in Florida. I have tried everything on their menu and the food is absolutely delicious. Their roast chicken is amazing, the arroz con gandules, the yuca, batata (Puerto Rican Sweet Potato), heck, everything they have is good. I have not been to their new brick and mortar restaurant, but will definitely visit when my daughter is in town. These guys know what they are doing and if the food stays consistent and the prices remain affordable, they will be incredibly successful - more than they actually are. They have definitely brought a piece of the Island to Central Florida. I wish you all nothing but success. Keep it up!
I was recommended this place to get authentic puertorrican lechón asado. It did not dissapoint. So freaking great. Just the smell of charcoal when you pull up is delightful. As a puertorrican living in Florida this really made me feel back home. Fav pr spot so far. Lechón was 🔥🔥.
I absolutely love this place! I like to go early to avoid the wait. It is so worth it. The food is delicious.
It's the best lechonera in central Florida hands down. The lechon is to die for, but their chicken is out of this world delish. Don't sleep on the arroz con longaniza. I could eat that alone all day!
The food was authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. The staff was friendly. The owner is interactive with the customers. They offer a variety of sides to go with their famous roasted pork (lechon asado) and rotisserie chicken. The food was delicious. You could taste the smoky flavor of the pork being cooked over a pit. Everything was delicious. My husband had a canoa. I had the roasted pork with guineos en escaveche and yellow rice with longaniza. My only regret was not taking pictures of the food to be able to post it.
Very good food. The lechon and el cuerito were absolutely delicious. It was worth the 2hr drive from Haines City. We will definitely be back 🇵🇷💙
Made a delivery and got a meal and oh my was it good. Everything fresh authentic Puerto Rican food. The service was beyond expectations going to have to come back on my own time.
The food was good. Limited selection, but I feel like that helps with making sure what they serve is the best. Was confused trying to find them cause their address was different than the location we found them. 1st time going there so maybe my dad didn’t know exactly where they would be that day. Line was long but worth the wait. Roasted pig is so good, all of it was good… but that pig was the cherry on top.
The food is authentic Puerto Rican, it tastes like Guavate! Every bite brought me back to the mountains of Cayey, with that rich, homemade flavor you'd expect from a lechonera. Perfectly seasoned, comforting, and full of soul. If you're craving real Puerto Rican cuisine, this place delivers. I had patitas, morcilla, pastel de yuca lechón, yuca al mojo, arroz y habichuelas. All delicious 😋
If I could give 10 stars I would. This place reminds me of Puerto Rico. The place makes amazing lechón asado (roast pork). They have a food truck on the premises but will be moving into the restaurant on site. The flavors are on point and the way they roast the pig, is perfect. When you arrive, if there is a line, don’t worry it moves pretty quickly. Well worth the wait. If you like you can actually sit at a few tables they have there but we just take it home.
Nice folks. Delicious genuine food. We took it home and had a feast. Great flavors all fresh. The Arroz con Longaniza, Guineitos Escabeche with Lechón was delicious and at a great price. We also had the Pasteles de Yuca and the Cuajo. Also the real deal! Delicious!
*Rating: 4/5* I recently visited this Puerto Riccan lechonera with my husband. We were drawn in by the bustling atmosphere and a full parking lot. The food trucks and patio furniture outside were because they were preparing for their 2-year anniversary celebration, which I later found out would feature 3 days of live music and dancing from August 15-17, 2025. Although the long line indicated popularity, the slow service was a bit of a drawback. The roasted meats (chicken and pork) were flavorful, and the sides (fried pork, beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, blood sausage, rice with pigeon peas, and yuca) were all delicious. The food had more flavor than many other similar establishments we've visited. To improve, they could use a few more staff members to speed up service. Despite the wait, the food was fresh and tasty, with meats roasted and cut to order. I'd definitely go back and recommend it to others, especially with the anniversary celebration coming up. With a bit of tweaking, this place could be a top-notch spot for Puerto Rican. *Suggestions for Improvement:* - Hire additional staff to speed up service - Consider implementing a more efficient ordering system - Possibly offer a streamlined menu for lunch breaks or busy customers *Overall Experience:* The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively. While the service was slow, the quality of the food made up for it. I'm looking forward to checking out their anniversary celebration and enjoying some live music and dancing. With some adjustments to service, this place could become a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
Come ready for a long line butttttt the line is so worth it WOW, the food is amazing. Service is great!!! The Lechón Asado, morcillas, chicken. Everything is delicious. The atmosphere is like to be in Guavate.
This was one of the best meal we’ve had in Florida! Not only is it impressive to watch the meat grill out there, but the taste is absolutely amazing. Even my picky toddler kept asking for more lechon non stop. Thank you also to the very professional, kind, and generous staff there. We drove down from Canada and it has been rough for a toddler such a long road trip but they totally made her day. She cant stop smiling hugging the unicorn toys ❤️. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience.
Awesome place. Great food and atmosphere, the girls at the counter were very helpful. Doesn’t busy because of the popularity. A true Puerto Rican restaurant and not a fake one like the one in PSL, down south. I will always hit this spot up when we are in Orlando up from Palm beach. Top spot and I recommend it for Authentic Puerto Rican food. WEPA!!!!!
Busy as Hell ...Long Line...I know it's SUNDAY... It was WELL WORTH IT... Food Had that Puerto Rician Taste, That it takes One to Know it 😂😂 Lechón was Fresh with GREAT seasoning as You Seen taken straight out of the Pit. Pasteles are also Amazingly Good . We even saw Bad Bunny 😂😂😂😂 Recommended 100%.
I love that my juice came with a Bible verse. I'm not sure if each drink has a different verse, I didn't even know mines came with one but I received Isaiah 60:1
Totally blown away of how delicious every bite was! Worth the 30+ min. wait on line. Hands down!
Awesome buffet experience at this Restaurant in Orlando. We visited on a Friday around 3:00pm. First time visiting. About 6 people in front of us. The service was quick. If you enjoy authentic Puerto Rican food this is the place to visit. We’ve visited other Restaurants looking to find authentic puerto Rican flavor and had not find it up to now in a buffet style. We ordered “arroz con gandules”, “batata al carbón”, “morcillas” “yuca”, “guineitos”, “alcapurria de carne, masa de yuca” & “pollo y lechón al carbón”. There was a stall where you could purchase Puerto Rican artesanal products. For three people we spend $49.00 which was not bad. We were very pleased with our overall experience. If you’re looking for authentic, Puerto Rican home made food, this is definitely the place to visit. We will visit again.
Lechonera El Sazón de Mi Viejo never disappoints! The rice with peas was absolutely superb, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The yuca had a great taste, though a touch more salt would have made it even better. The same goes for the pork—delicious, but just a little more salt would enhance the flavor. The chicken, however, was the star of the meal...perfectly seasoned and incredibly tasty! The service was excellent. The staff were really attentive and super nice people. I love their service. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that keeps me coming back for more. UPDATE!!! "I visited Lechonera El Sazón de Mi Viejo again, this time at their restaurant location, and it was just as fantastic as the first experience! The pork has definitely improved—it’s now perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The rice with peas and the chicken are still just as incredible as before, maintaining that perfect balance of seasoning and taste. The service continues to be excellent, with the staff being attentive and welcoming. This place truly knows how to deliver a consistently great dining experience!" BEST LECHONERA IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. 5 STARS!!!!!
The plates I had here were well cooked and full of flavor.Thank you to the gentleman roasting the pig in the back for opening the roasters and letting me video the lechon. Great atmosphere there from the people to the smells and the ambiance.I post videos of all my dining experiences on my YouTube channel @EverydayLife4u (all one word)
Very good Puerto Rican food. Brought my parents back the next day.
The food was very tasty, and tasted authentically Puerto Rican! The music and the polite customer service really added to the "back home" feeling. And plus the ice cream truck that was outside was the cherry on top!
Love how full of flavor are their dishes. Meats, salads and ground products are exquisite! Best puertorican food in the US!

Very good Puerto Rican food. Brought my parents back the next day.
The food felt like I was back home in Puerto Rico. The atmosphere was great and the service was A plus. The pork had great flavor. My cousin from Jacksonville mention that he heard the place was good so we set up a trip for him to come to Palm Coast and head over for some pork. Don't regret the drive, cant wait to go again and bring my family.
100% Puertorican food. The Lechon with cuerito tasted so good and it's cooked in charcoal. The Pana tostones and the pastel de yuca also tasted real good. Now, the Arroz con Gandules is the real star of the show. It is one of the most delicious arroz con gandules rice I've had outside of Puerto Rico. I just could not stop eating it. From all the "Lechoneras" I tried these past days which were Latinas but not 100% Boricua; this one is the winner so far.

Food was too salty for my taste so I couldn't eat it, but everyone else on my group were ok with it, not the best but not bad. Portions are gigantic, make sure you come with a good appetite! Price was a good deal!!!
I had fried pork with white rice, red beans and mofongo, it was all good. Service was good, a little pricey but worth it. Would reccommend.
Real authentic Puerto Rican food. Must try the roasted pork and chicken everything was fresh and delicious. Also loved the blood sausage ( morcilla ) I basically tried almost everything on the menu. And everything was delicious. I just wished the meats had more seasoning. Long wait once inside. I did take out.
Visited this place for the first time and it did not disappoint. I had the lunch special and it brought great portions for a decent price. The pollo asado is definitely a highlight of this restaurant. They cook their sweet plantains better than most Lechoneras in the area. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu.
Lets see from when you park you feel in PR the smell, the people the artesanal vendor....then you enter the place and the smell is overwhelming good. The food looks fresh and appetizing. The roasted chicken was really good the beans the tostones the maduros and the morcillas.....now the pernil the cuerito waa really nice, crispy ans tasty....the meat was dry and tasteless....the rice was a lik oily and sticky. The flans were too dry not sure if they make them there... great servise and good prices.

My first time eating here. Not too happy but I know they can do better in my personal opinion. My constrictive criticism: chicken was cold, beans need flavor and prices $ ok. The place is beautiful because it reminded me of PR. I hope they are able to correct this and not take it personal. Yo voy a ustedes porque PUERTO RICO LO HACE MEJOR! Gracias 🙏
We were so excited to try this food, we live over an hour away and were passing through. The line was an hour long, there are some tents to shield from the sun/rain but not all the way. I would suggest you bring an umbrella. Once we got to the ordering window, the food came out within 2 minutes. The rice was a little on the salty side and didn't taste like anything else was added. The chicken was ok, seasoned with salt. The pork was a bit dissapointing as far as flavor, but it was soft. The yuca tasted like boiled yuca(no mojo). The serving of rice was pretty big, enough for 2 people to enjoy and the price was good in my opinión. $12 gets you rice, side and meat. Whole chicken $12. If I was around and the line wasn't long I'd probably give them another chance, but I'm not going out of my way for it.
First and last time . Soup expensive $8 . Employees not friendly . Got a yuca pastel which was expensive too $5.50 and ate just a little bit of the pastel because most of the yuca was stick to the paper . It didnt even look like a pastel it was a mess !!!! I told an employee and but she didnt care . Taste was good but the customer service is poor.
The pernil meat was ok was not so soft. I wasn't a fan of it. Pernil skin (cuerito) was excellent. Rice was good. The service: It was our first time the lady that took care of us did not smile and she made me feel rushed.

I order tray for my family and I found chicken very very dry, mofongo ball no flavor no garlic and missing chicharon , rice with pigeon peas like 3 days old and no flavor missing the sofrito and last an no less pork good pieces but dry and again no flavor, I believe you going to sale and serve food from the day before is no fair we paid good money for the food and what I get old food. I sorry to say I give you a 2 star only for a good service you have .
First time visiting this place and I thought I would be impressed by the recommendations but it wasn't like that. The line was too long, there were enough employees to serve faster and many of them were talking to others instead of taking care of customers. Their attitude was not the best and I felt like I was being paid to be there. Not impressed with the food neither, the lechón was too salty. Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of parking space. I’ll probably not recommend it due to employees attitude, I was expecting more friendly staff, very disappointed. I liked the fact that they had local PR artesanias outdoors and those people were the opposite, super friendly and amables.
The worst customer service especially on Thanksgiving Day they made like 30 to 40 people wait online for over 2 hours to then come and say that they don't have nothing else that it's all gone. But the way they came and set it this one lady with a mustache comes out and says that's all there is y'all can leave. How many people left their with nothing after waiting over 2 hours I found that to be very disrespectful and in the tone that it was said, I would never ever go there again!!!!
First time I visited this place I waited around 45 minutes in line, food was great, the guy cut it the pig right on front of me and I got nice pieces of meat, rice and yuca was also good. Second time they served from one of their food trailers and all I got was 2 pounds of pure pork fat, rice was hard, yuca was under cooked. Third time, today... The attendant was told about the last visit been served pure fat on the pork meat and AGAIN today, I got home thinking I was going to enjoy my pork and all I got was two pounds of pure (garbage) fat pieces of pork, inedible, went straight from the kitchen counter to the trash. Rice was also hard. $40 dollars waisted on this place. I would not waist my time and money in this place. I wish them good luck, there are going to needed if they think they are going to do good business in Orlando this way. I'm in the restaurant business for over 30 years and see most of them come and Go.
I’m very disappointed with my visit. I waited over two hours, only to be told at the end that there was no food left. If the restaurant planned to serve people with reservations first or wasn’t sure they had enough food, they should have clearly informed customers at the beginning. Instead, there was no information at all — they just let people wait without saying anything. Even worse, there were many other customers waiting after us who also had no idea what was going on. This was a frustrating and completely avoidable experience. Based on what happened to me, I do not recommend coming here.
I went here because it’s new decorations and restaurant was clean how ever the food was SALTY! Two plates $35 bucks and we took two bites had to throw out. Rice and chicken was so salty. Also I should have known when I saw they have chicken out on counter the guy just cut it up put on plate. How long was chicken out for. I would not go back.
Rice is amazingly delicious when done right. Only 1x it was uncooked. Bu Ive ordered roast pork and their rotisserie chicken in the last 5 visits and each time it gets saltier and saltier to the point I have to throw it in traah and impossible for me and my husband to eat it. Sad! Cause they used to be so Freakin good. But now I can’t recommend them. CONTROL THE SALT!!!! Servers are also not kind. Too assertive and sometimes rude. And location tables, windows and doors are always sticky dirty thats why I never eat there and only do take out.
No im not making this up lol Walked in, no one greeted me. Server was pissed I didn't speak Spanish, rolled her eyes and got an attitude when I asked nicely if I could have my beans separate. Tables were so dirty I had to go eat in my car, then when I get to my car, the food was salty I had to throw it out. Not the experience I was looking for and I will never come back. There are too many great Hispanic restaurants in the Orlando area that have amazing customer service and delicious food.(Tainos, mecatos, lechonera on east colonial, bravo supermarkets and many bodegas offer amazing food at a great price.) THIS specific restaurant is NOT one of them! Stay away from this place!!!
