Il bar in via Dante chiamato CAFFÈ DANTE, l’unico bar in cui davvero mi trovo come a casa. Ho pranzato , cenato e usufruito del loro buon e bel aperitivo sopratutto mi ha colpito molto il cibo nel loro vasto menù, per quanto riguarda i cocktail devo dire molto graditi e apprezzati sopratutto fatto dal barman con gli occhiali non so bene il nome però quello che ho bevuto mi è davvero piaciuto. Penso che tornerò molto presto.

In the midst of shopping in a touristy area, this restaurant is a great place to sit outside and enjoy people watching. Our waiter was attentive but also did not rush our meal. The cappuccino was huge and very tasty. The complimentary chips and olives were a great starter. The pizza is beautiful. It was plenty for 2 people. We'll be back!

We stopped here Saturday morning for breakfast. We wanted a full breakfast to keep us going throughout the day. We sure got that with the breakfast we ordered. Fresh squeezed orange juice was a bonus. The staff was impeccable, very professional, organized, and helpful. I watched a woman come in to have breakfast, and she needed her phone charged. She gave her phone and charging gear to the staff, and off they went. Wow, what a positive way to treat customers! You can check the menu outside to decide if the food is within your price range. We loved the people watching along Via Dante.

We had a great experience at Caffè Dante! The food was delicious everything was fresh and full of flavor, definitely exceeded our expectations. One big surprise was the size of the drinking glasses they were quite big, which we didn’t expect, but it wasn’t a big deal. The service was also very good. The staff were friendly and attentive. Dopo cena, classica passeggiata in centro a Milano, schivando turisti, e figure sospette che lavorano con le mani più veloci degli occhi. Tra un borseggiatore e l’altro, ci imbattiamo in questo cafè a bordo strada. Atmosfera genuina, tavolini all’aperto, perfetta cornice per il dopo-serata. E qui scatta la grande idea: “Oh, fermiamoci per due Amari del Capo e un Baileys”. Il personale, con grande eleganza, ci avvisa: avrebbero chiuso a breve. Noi, pieni di spirito propositivo, rispondiamo che avremmo bevuto i tre amari, due bottigliette d’acqua e poi saremmo evaporati nella notte. Loro annuiscono, comprensivi: dopotutto al denaro non si dice mai no. Dovrei aver capito il messaggio lì, ma la fiducia nell’umanità a volte gioca brutti scherzi. E fu così che dopo 15-20 minuti ci accompagnarono gentilmente verso l’uscita. Cioè, “gentilmente”… diciamo con la grazia di chi ha lavorato 12 ore a 10 euro l’ora e sta già mentalmente sul divano. Comprensibile, per carità. Il clou però arriva in cassa: 3 amari a 27 euro e 2 bottiglie d’acqua da 0,75 + due bicchieri per altri 12 euro. Un affare talmente esclusivo che probabilmente il ghiaccio e il sorriso erano optional. Morale: se cercate un posto dove sentirvi ospiti indesiderati, e allo stesso tempo investitori coraggiosi di amari sopravvalutati, direi che l’avete trovato.

Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience. I didn’t see the affogato listed in the drinks menu, but since I was sure that’s what I wanted and the waiter said they had it, We ordered it, not knowing it would cost €20. The tiramisu tasted very commercial, not homemade, and the iced coffee was overly sweet. We paid €40 in total, which felt far too much for the quality. A shame we didn’t check the reviews before stopping, but we were just tired and looking for a quick break. Definitely not worth it !

Esperienza purtroppo molto deludente al Caffè Dante, in zona Castello Sforzesco a Milano. Considerando la posizione centrale e i prezzi decisamente elevati del menu, ci aspettavamo un livello di qualità e di servizio molto più alto. Il ristorante al momento della nostra visita era praticamente vuoto, con pochi tavoli occupati, e proprio per questo l’attesa è stata ancora più sorprendente. Per una semplice tartare abbiamo dovuto aspettare circa 40 minuti, un tempo davvero eccessivo e difficile da giustificare vista la situazione del locale. Inoltre ho ordinato una tartare con burrata, ma quando il piatto è arrivato ci siamo accorti che la burrata era stata sostituita con della semplice mozzarella. La cosa più spiacevole è che nessuno ci ha avvisati prima della sostituzione dell’ingrediente. Sarebbe stato corretto comunicarlo al momento dell’ordine o almeno chiedere se andava bene una modifica al piatto. Purtroppo la mozzarella utilizzata non era nemmeno di particolare qualità: poco saporita e assolutamente non all’altezza di quello che ci si aspetterebbe da un ristorante con questi prezzi. Nel complesso il rapporto qualità-prezzo è stato molto deludente. I piatti non giustificano il costo e il servizio è risultato lento e poco attento. Quando si paga una cifra importante per un pranzo, ci si aspetta cura nei dettagli, ingredienti di buona qualità e soprattutto correttezza nei confronti del cliente. La posizione del locale, vicino a una delle zone più belle e frequentate di Milano come il Castello Sforzesco, farebbe pensare a un’esperienza piacevole e curata. Purtroppo la realtà è stata ben diversa: attese lunghe nonostante il locale quasi vuoto, modifiche ai piatti senza essere informati e una qualità generale che non giustifica i prezzi richiesti. Spero che il ristorante possa migliorare questi aspetti, perché al momento l’esperienza non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative.

Non è certo il posto ideale per un aperitivo. I drink sono nella media, niente di terribile ma neanche memorabili. La parte più deludente è il “piatto di accompagnamento”: per quattro persone ci hanno portato una piccola ciotola di patatine e appena sei olive!! Sembra davvero poco curato. Ancora più deludente il prezzo: almeno 14 € a drink, quando altrove con la metà di quella cifra ti servono un vero piatto da aperitivo. Esperienza deludente, non lo consiglio.

Questo ristorante è davvero scandaloso. Temevamo che fosse un "ristorante turistico", quindi abbiamo chiesto i prezzi prima di sederci, ma i prezzi che ci ha indicato il cameriere erano completamente diversi da quelli sul menu. La cosa più scandalosa è stata quando ho chiesto un Aperol Spritz, ma il cameriere continuava a dirmi che dovevo ordinare del limoncello. Ho detto che volevo uno Spritz, ma mi ha comunque dato un limoncello e mi ha detto che erano la stessa cosa, che lo Spritz è il limoncello. È scandaloso, e il cameriere si è comportato come un truffatore ed è stato razzista. Non ho mai visto un bar o un ristorante così scandaloso in Italia. È incredibile che un bar nel centro di Milano faccia questo!

We arrived with friends 20 minutes before closing. The waiter didn't give us a menu and recommended a 0.5-liter beer, which we bought. They brought us each a large 1-liter beer. The waiter still insisted it was only a 0.5-liter. Before closing, he came back and said we had to leave and poured beer on my friend, spilling it all over him. He was very angry. He brought us a bill for 6 beers for 132 euros. This is a joke. I don't recommend it, avoid this place!

We attended this cafe for an afternoon drink and ordered 2 orange juice, hot chocolate, apple juice gelato and tiramisu. Party of 6. The toilet was completely dirty. Was charged €15 for a 300ml orange juice. The tiramisu never came. Overpriced and terrible service.

Get them out of Milan. Food is bad and overpriced. We simply ordered two normal cokes and pizza. They served us two massive 800 ml cokes without asking. And charged us 17,00 € each!!! Even worse, the pizza was a low quality frozen pizza for 17,00 € as well. Toilets were rundown and dirty. Service barely paid attention.

The service was shockingly bad – the staff were extremely rude, inattentive, and completely unprofessional. We ordered a margarita, which was absolutely disgusting – it tasted like flavored water, and when we questioned it, we realized they had completely forgotten to put alcohol in it! When we pointed this out to the staff, they didn’t care at all, didn’t apologize, and didn’t even attempt to fix it. They clearly have no idea how to make proper cocktails, and honestly, they didn’t seem to care about their customers in the slightest. If you’re looking for a relaxing aperitivo, this is NOT the place. Bad drinks, worst service, and a complete waste of time and money. Never coming back, and I would strongly recommend others to stay away.

Do not go here, dishonest place . They Ask you if you want a large cocktail an bring you a massive glass full of ice - 90% ice 8 % juice and 2% alcohol if any . They Charge you 35 euros for a large glass of ice when menú has cocktails for 12 euros. Prices for the different sizes are not in the menu. Cocktail is not well done because is water Down juice.
