The best food we had in the Milan Navigli district. Great spot by the canal, friendly service and delicious food! We ordered a bottle of the Pinot Grigio which was the best wine we had in Italy. The bruschetta, seafood pasta, shrimp risotto and grilled seafood were all perfectly seasoned and so tasty! Would come back here if I visit Navigli again.

We had just one day in Milan, so I made a small trip route for us. I chose the most important spots in the city center. Of course, the Duomo was our first stop — we took some photos and I also suggested visiting a nearby religious site. We walked there, passing through Milan’s beautiful historical streets. When we arrived, we searched for highly rated restaurants on Google Maps and picked one. Before coming, I had already decided that I wanted to try something traditional from Milan, so I chose spaghetti with mussels 😋. My friends aren’t very adventurous, so they ordered tomato penne and margherita pizza. Almost everyone around us was drinking Aperol Spritz, so we also ordered some. It went perfectly with our meals. I loved my plate — it was really delicious!

The ossobuco was excellent and the star of the restaurant!!! The risotto was creamy and the beef was succulent and there was a lot of delicious creamy bone marrow inside. The portion was massive! Enough for 2 people. 10/10 did not disappoint, highly recommend.

We ordered the sliced beef with rosemary and the Tagliatella Bolognese—both were absolutely delicious. Sitting outside overlooking the river made the experience even more enjoyable. For dessert, we sampled the tiramisu, panna cotta, and Catalan cream; each one was fantastic.

The food is super delicious!! We had four dishes: the seafood pasta, ravioli with truffles, the Tagliata, and I had the Ossobuco with risotto Milanese - it was tender and very tasty! Everything was excellent!! The service was great, friendly and quick. We sat outside with a nice view of the canal. I definitely recommend it over the more touristy place downstream the canal.

We loved the ham pizza and the risotto – both were delicious and well-prepared. However, we expected more from the veal cutlet; it was a bit too crispy and slightly tough to cut. Overall, our experience at the restaurant was pleasant. We sat outside, which was lovely, and the service was excellent. Do note there is a service cover charge of €3 per person.

We visited the restaurant in a group of 6, encouraged by the crowd at the entrance compared with other restaurants. We were not disappointed. My pick was risotto with mushrooms and truffle. The dish was super tasty and the portion was not large, just enough. The rest of the group also enjoyed their meals: pasta, seafood. We also took a pizza to share - to me the dough was a bit too thick. Drinks are reasonably priced (8 euro for Aperol) The staff was super nice and friendly. Food was served quickly despite the crowd. Overall we had a really nice experience and I enjoyed food and time there.

I had a nice meal at this restaurant. I ordered the lobster tagliolini, which was pretty impressive. For the price, it felt fair—half a lobster on the plate, cooked well with pasta in a tasty sauce that worked nicely together. The octopus was good too. It was tender and the sauce complemented it well. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The sliced beef, however, was average. Overall, the seafood here is the highlight. If you’re into lobster or octopus, these dishes are worth trying.

A beautiful oasis of calm, a step away from the busy canal side. We had the most delicious lunch and wine with impeccable service. We sat inside as it was a little chilly, but the outside area is pretty sheltered. We’d highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area and feeling hungry ♥️ .

Locale situato in zona Navigli, ambiente molto carino, personale cortese e disponibile. Menù ampio con varie possibilità di scelta tra primi, secondi, pizze ed hamburger. Vista la "gita" a Milano ho optato per la cotoletta alla milanese con patatine. Dose decisamente abbondante ma molto buona. Posto consigliato

Taverna turistica, il cibo era sopra la media ma non eccellente, atmosfera piacevole, servizio rapido. Sarei stato felice se avessi trovato una birra italiana da gustare.

I visited yesterday for dinner and, as a vegetarian, ordered: • Virgin Colada • Penne alla Norma • Risotto al Brie The Virgin Colada was absolutely refreshing — creamy, tropical, and perfectly balanced. The Penne alla Norma honestly blew me away — I’ve never had such flavourful and authentic pasta before; every bite was rich and satisfying. The Risotto al Brie had a nice cheesy, mildly salty profile — like savoury rice with a creamy brie twist — not overpowering, just comfortingly indulgent. A couple of things to note: since the restaurant is beside a canal, there were quite a lot of mosquitoes during dinner, so keep that in mind if you’re visiting in the evening. Also, there’s an extra service charge applied to all dining bills. Overall, great food and lovely flavours — worth visiting, especially for the pasta!

Location carina e curata con una mise-en-place impeccabile. Menù con una scelta molto ampia di piatti. La pizza come antipasto non mi ha convinto, soprattutto per l'impasto. Avendo fatto un giro sui navigli e consigliato di cercare un posto per mangiare milanese ..ci siamo fermati qui credendo di trovare i piatti tipici del luogo (scritto anche all carta) ormai seduti abbiamo scoperto che avevano finito l'osso buco con riso e l'orecchio del'elefante(cotoletta milanese) ci siamo meravigliati visto l'ora 13.15..abbiamo ripiegato su 3 risotti alla milanese discreti niente di che ..potevamo tranquillamente alzarci e andare via visto che nel menù non era segnalati che quei piatti non erano più disponibili per educazione siamo rimasti ..sbagliando..abbiamo preso il dessert sperando di dolcirci un po..7 € un po tanto ..ne abbiamo mangiato dei migliori con presentazione spetacolari mi dispiace no siamo stati soddisfatti

Was really excited to try this place since it had such great reviews, but we were a little disappointed. The osso bucco was not great...not much flavor. The mushroom risotto was fine but really just tasted like rice with a creamy sauce. Nothing special unfortunately. Oddly enough, the greek salad was my favorite part of the meal! The atmosphere is great as it looks over the river, but wish the food was a bit better, especially for the price.

C’erano dei tavoli interni liberi e ho chiesto se era possibile fare cambio tavolo ma con una scusa banale non mi hanno accontentato. Piatto di pasta alle vongole veraci mezze vuote. In queste giornate estive un ventilatore esterno farebbe la differenza.

Sono andato al ristorante apposta per assaggiare un piatto specifico, ma quando l’ho ordinato il cameriere mi ha detto che non era disponibile perché faceva parte del menù invernale. Gli ho mostrato che la foto era stata pubblicata su Instagram dal ristorante solo tre giorni fa, ma lui ha ignorato e ha insistito che mi sbagliavo. La scortesia del cameriere mi ha lasciato davvero amareggiato e infastidito, ed è stato deludente uscire da lì proprio dopo essere venuto apposta per questo piatto.

In vacanza a Milano, decisione di andare a visitare i Navigli ci fermiamo a pranzare in questa osteria. Esperienza da dimenticare. All’arrivo il locale era semi vuoto, ordiniamo e da qui inizia la lunga attesa. Nel frattempo il locale si riempie ma del cibo nessuna traccia. Chiedo ad un cameriere (gentile) di informarmi sui tempi e come per magia arriva l’antipasto. Ricomincia l’attesa, dopo 45 minuti, chiedo circa i tempi di attesa (stavolta mi é capitato il cameriere cafone che, di fretta mi risponde, visibilmente scocciato , che il locale era pieno) indispettita minaccio di andarmene e come per magia arriva il primo. Chiedo il conto che arriva subito. Il nostro tavolo, prenotato il giorno prima, si trovava a ridosso del mobile dove erano posizionati i vini, tant’é che di tanto in tanto arrivava qualcuno del personale a prelevare qualche bottiglia facendoci spostare. Servizio e accoglienza tra i peggiori della mia vita. Il cibo buono ma non basta a salvare un’esperienza terrificante

Very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, the service was really poor. We waited a long time to be served, just like the tables next to us. I ordered a soup but got a plate of spicy tomato sauce mussels instead and my friend’s Bufala pizza was just average (5/10). They didn’t have any gluten-free options and nobody seemed to care that my dish (mussels) stayed untouched, not even when they took it away. In the end, we had to go inside to pay because no one brought the bill. Such a pity, considering the nice location and all the good reviews. Classic tourist trap. There are plenty of better places around, I’d suggest avoiding this one.

No reservations we were able to walk in at 7:30pm on a Tuesday. The bottle of Rose was the best thing we had. Steak was overcooked, dry and flavorless, risotto was bland and nothing special, pizza was grainy and tasteless, French fries with dipping sauce were the best thing we ate.
