As soon as you enter, you notice the fantastic old-fashioned location with exposed brick and beams. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. The bread is fresh, delicious, and unique (walnut or olive bread, etc.).

I'm gutted I forgot to take pictures of this really nice refurbishment, which produced a mixture between a classic bakery, a café and an Italian bar. We stopped on a cold December morning for a quick bite, getting two focaccias and having them filled with some great cured meats and cheese. Chiaravalle is an interesting part of Milan for someone who wants to experience something that feels like the old, quaint Milan whose memory is slowly fading, and this place is a modern reinvention that complements that feeling quite well.

Chiaravalle .. (Mi) .. Bakery and coffee .. on the occasion of the visit to the Chiaravalle Abbey we stopped here for a simple coffee (good) .. and since they produce their own bread, pizza and focaccia .. we took the opportunity to buy some very soft rolls .. and some focaccia .. location not very large even if it has an outdoor terrace .. and in any case a nice atmosphere .. friendly staff .. recommended for those like us who want to drink a coffee or buy bread, focaccia or pizza to eat on the way to the abbey ..

€11.50 for 1 amaro and 1 "expensive" spirit is exaggerated to say the least: at least put a giant photo of Ciribiciaccola inside, so it can feel like you're in the city center.

AN EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE REPEATED! I paid €16 for two spritzes. At the cashier, I pointed out that the drinks were accompanied ONLY by a small bowl of chips from a large bag, and was then told that if I'd gone in the evening, the aperitif (for the same price) would have been accompanied by something else. TIP: HOW ABOUT PRICED DRINKS IN THE APERITIFS CATEGORY WHEN YOU OFFER NO ACCOMPANYING THEM? With that in mind, I'd advise family, friends, and acquaintances to look elsewhere for a better value.

A dramatic decline!! We were regulars at the pastry shop because the croissants were really good, and even though the staff wasn't very friendly, we still went there because it was so close to home, making it very convenient. In the last few months, the quality has significantly declined, and the croissants are as frozen as in many cafes in Milan, but of a decidedly poor quality, poorly baked, and at the price of a high-end pastry shop. To our great regret, we'll never return.

We came to have breakfast and the young lady with brown hair was so rude to everyone and threw our food to our faces and swore on us. Disaster! Please train for customer service.
