Ambiente super accogliente, cibo ottimo, ma personale...STREPITOSO!! Il titolare è molto simpatico e allo stesso tempo ti serve "con i guanti di velluto", davvero raffinato. Consiglio assolutamente la tartare di carne.

Un ristorante italiano che non delude mai , dal personale bello e professionale alla cucina di qualità. Un locale adatto per pranzi di lavoro , serate romantiche o tra amici..Consigliabile la prenotazione, grande cantina di vini ricercati.a location si trova a pochi metri dalla stazione centrale ferroviaria di Milano.

Ho pranzato molte volte in questo ristorante. Locale molto elegante, personale professionale ma simpatico. La cucina varia da piatti tipici della cucina milanese a piatti classici rivisitati. Tutto molto buono e di qualità. Posizione molto comoda per chi viaggia in treno, a 150 metri a piedi dall'ingresso della stazione di Milano Centrale lato Piazza Luigi di Savoia.

Really nice, cosy yet smart restaurant just around the corner from Milano Centrale. Enjoyed the high quality, old school vibe as great waiters served us classic Italian cuisine. Ossobuco was meltingly soft, prosciutto toscano was a hearty treat and creme brulee was genuinely superb. The recommended Umbrian wine was fantastic and at €45 was very reasonable. Would visit again. Really liked our waiters from Matera and Sardinia!

After a long day of touring, we booked dinner reservations here. The restaurant is very conveniently located across the street from our hotel and the train station. While patrons were there, we were able to be seated right away. I personally enjoyed the warm seafood salad, ravioli, and crema for dessert. In tasting the other dishes, they were good too. The fried cutlet was slightly browned more on one side. You will need to order another course or sides if you order the cutlet, fyi. Overall enjoyable experience and would go back again.

Nice pasta vongole, used to come here for lunch But vongole is without shell now (probably they dont use fresh ones anymore) however taste is still great….served with ciabatta which is ovenfresh!

Sono stato da Giglio Rosso, proprio di fronte alla stazione centrale di Milano. Il locale si presenta bene, e abbiamo avuto la fortuna di cenare nella saletta privata, davvero bella e suggestiva, perfetta per una cena tranquilla lontano dal via vai cittadino. Ho ordinato un antipasto di crudo: tartare di tonno e carpaccio di dentice. A seguire, una tataki di tonno scottato. Tutto nella media: ben presentato ma senza guizzi particolari o sapori memorabili. Nulla che mi abbia davvero colpito. Nota di merito invece per la carta dei vini, ricca e ben curata, con diverse etichette interessanti che alzano il livello dell’esperienza. Nel complesso, un posto gradevole per l’atmosfera (soprattutto nella saletta), ma che sul piano del gusto potrebbe osare qualcosa in più.

Siamo stati al Ristorante Il Giglio Rosso a Milano e l’esperienza è stata piacevole, anche se con qualche riserva. Il menù offre una buona varietà di piatti sia di carne che di pesce, con alcune proposte interessanti, ma nel complesso la qualità del cibo è risultata nella media, soprattutto se rapportata ai prezzi, che ho trovato un po’ alti. Il vero punto di forza è stato il servizio: estremamente cortese, attento e disponibile. Ci hanno riservato un tavolo al piano inferiore, in una saletta molto suggestiva con pareti piene di bottiglie, davvero d’atmosfera. Probabilmente, essendo vicino alla Stazione Centrale, il locale lavora molto con i turisti, e questo può giustificare in parte i prezzi un po’ più alti della media. Un peccato, perché con un miglior rapporto qualità-prezzo potrebbe essere davvero un’ottima scelta.

Si trova vicino alla stazione centrale, locale dal sapore molto Milanese, proprietario disponibile e molto simpatico. Cibo ben preparato e di qualità, carne di alto livello ed un servizio fatto da persone competenti. Se siete a Milano fermatevi!!!!!

Cibo eccellente, ma porzioni minimal.. un piatto di 6 mezzi paccheri mi sembra più un assaggino che un primo piatto da 14 euro! Personale forzatamente cordiale e un po' invadente. Dopo aver ordinato il primo e aver dichiarato di nn voler altro ci sono stati tolti con i piatti sporchi pane e grissini e cordialità. Ci hanno messo una fretta incredibile per liberare il tavolo nonostante il locale fosse mezzo vuoto, sollecitandoci per 3 volte il pagamento del conto in 10 minuti....mah

Il cibo abbastanza buono, tagliolini al tartufo ottimi. Il primo assistente di sala che mi ha accolto e preso l'ordine è stato bravo, quello che mi ha portato la tartare ha poggiato il piatto sul lato del tavolo in modo disattento. Il terzo che mi ha preparato i tagliolini al tavolo anche lui è stato molto bravo e sorridente. Nel complesso ho mangiato bene, da controllare la stracciatella che è risultata leggermente pungente.

The dishes were creative but lack of delicacy. The pork was tough with tendon and ligament and the waiter said it is normal because it’s pork. Not acceptable!!

Most waiters were nice and friendly. I was rushed and they brought food quickly, which was helpful. However, everything was too salty and made me thirsty afterwards. Pork was the waiter’s recommendation, so I had some expectation, but 26 Euro was pricey for the quality. Hardly any greens either. Plus, they charged 3.5 Euro for a bunch of bread. But again, too salty and chewy so I only had some bites. When I have a chance to visit next time, I should try some inexpensive pasta or something else.

Purtroppo il tonno in crosta di sesamo che avevo ordinato non sembrava particolarmente fresco, cosa che non mi aspettavo da un secondo costoso, e mi è stato proposto in alternativa un altro secondo dal titolare. Dopo 40 minuti di attesa del piatto, senza ricevere il mio secondo, abbiamo deciso di alzarci e pagare il conto. Ci è stato offerto di non pagare, vista la mia evidente irritazione, ma abbiamo pagato regolarmente. Pessima esperienza sia per il secondo ordinato che l'attesa del piatto mai arrivato.

The restaurant had good reviews and was near our hotel so we thought we would have dinner there. Food was good and portions were also a good size. What I did not see until after our return to our hotel when I looked a little closer at the bill was that we were double charged for our drinks. My wife had a glass of house red and I a beer. These are professional waiters so I think it wasn’t an oversight. I will take my readers next dinner trip. Shameful. They talk about pick pockets in Milan but I never pictured them as wait staff. Check your bills folks. I know that I will be more diligent in the future.
