Situato certamente non in una zona bellissima di Milano, tuttavia merita, merita e ancora merita sia il pranzo che la cena. In questo ristorante la cucina abruzzese viene degnamente servita e ottimamente gustata. I prezzi nel tempo sono ahimè cresciuti ma il livello delle materie prime utilizzate è alto.

Abbiamo cercato su internet un ristorante italiano nelle vicinanze del b&b ,ed a soli 500m una fantastica scoperta! Il Top della cucina abruzzese 🤩, sapori autentici e unici. Arrosticini fatti in casa semplicemente DIVINI ( ne abbiamo ordinato più di 20 🙈); Tagliatelle al ragù bianco di carne, spettacolari! Insomma, che dire. Quasi non mi sembrava di essere a Milano . Da provare assolutamente 🤩

La vera forza di questo ristorante è l'eccellente qualità del cibo e l'attenzione nella preparazione. La radicata tradizione abruzzese viene qui proposta con una gustosa e raffinata rivisitazione, a partire da ingredienti di altissimo livello. Il servizio è ottimo: attento, caloroso e ti fa sentire subito a casa, in un locale curato. Sebbene la selezione di vini sia focalizzata sull'Abruzzo, le etichette scelte sono tutte di ottimo livello. Inoltre, in una traversa di Via Ripamonti, è facile trovare parcheggio. Ottima esperienza in un locale veramente accogliente e arredato con gusto. Accoglienza ottima, e il cibo è stato davvero all'altezza delle aspettative. La addetta al servizio Evelyn è stata davvero professionale e utile , davvero complimenti. Il conto è adeguato all'ambiente e a quanto portato a tavola. Da tornarci.

Una bellissima scoperta. Ristorante abruzzese a gestione famigliare dalla sala allo chef in cucina. Personale davvero molto competente gentile e disponibile a spiegare tutte le proposte del menù con ampie spiegazioni dei piatti. Pietanze ben presentate e cucinate alla perfezione. Pranzo perfetto Serena in sala sommelier e proprietaria non fa mancare nulla ai suoi ospiti. Ci torneremo senza dubbio. Costo proporzionato a quanto mangiato.

We got a reservation through the online system an hour before on a weekday evening. Parking was not bad. The lamb and liver skewers blew us away. The porcini pasta was fresh. Honey herb lamb was good. Tiramisu was amazing. Quiet and charming with the charcoal grill in the back. Excellent service - they were very gracious and patient with putting up with us clueless Americans who wanted to share plates and requested garlic to be omitted in the veggie dishes. Thank you!!!

A pleasant business lunch in this restaurant. Very nice decor and polite and attentive service. Tried the ox cheek with polenta and the arrosticini which are one of the specialties. I also tasted the liver arrosticini which are super tasty if you like liver too 😋

Everything about this restaurant was so amazing. Hats off to Chef Giorgia for taking care and explaining everything to us. Her recommendations were fantastic and the whole night was overall a fabulous experience. We had the eggplant flan, Gnocchitti, Tagliatelle, Arrosticini, and the La tagliata. All were so good and flavorful. Highly recommend the Arrosticini as it is one of their most popular dishes.

Good food, the best option are the lamb sticks. All the food is delightful I think it’s what you expect from a Italian restaurant a little bit far away from the center of milano but I fully recommend it. The atmosphere it’s a whole experience really recommend it. Just to let you know if you eat a lot the portions are not very large.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Il Capestrano in southern suburb of Milano next to Fondazione Prada. It serves delicious regional food from Abruzze region (east of Rome) with high focus on lamb, mouton. The grilled lamb meat and the mouton tartar were memorable. Everything was very good. Service was welcoming and professional.

Perfect meal, worth the money! The 2 starter we ordered were fantastic, the cold cuts pork is rich and tasty, their bestseller eggplant is amazing:) We enjoyed the homemade pasta, the selection of 3 desserts were great choice:). The staff are helpful and friendly, dishes were fast served. It took us 1 hour on the way arriving this restaurant, it was totally worth this experience! We are happy for this meal:)

Bel ristorante con specialità abruzzesi, consiglio vivamente gli arrosticini. Se vuoi provare la cucina regionale è il posto giusto, l'unico neo è che la qualità non si discute ma non è per tutte le tasche, qui la qualità si paga..

Un ristorante di alto livello, per poi scoprire mentre vieni veramente viziato con ottimo cibo e ottimi vini che la sommeliere e’ sorella della chef e che tutto è a conduzione familiare, ambiente elegante, personale preparato cortese e professionale, servizio veloce senza attese inutili, vieni informato sulla provenienza e sulla storia di ogni piatto trasformando il tuo pranzo o cena in una vera esperienza! I found this restaurant through the Michelin guide with a “Selection” distinction. The restaurant is a bit far from the city center in front of a warehouse, in general the experience to get there wasn’t the best. The service was ok. But I’d appreciate a bit more better recommendations and explanation of the type of food they serve considering the type of restaurant. The food was ok - but far from great. We paid around 50pp and I felt it wasn’t worth it. I guess if you love the Abruzzese food this is your place. In general is ok, but the Michelin guide selection and the great reviews overhyped the place.

For this kind of restaurant, The service expected to be better. Bread served all cold… The food was okay. The pasta with white Ragu missed a bit of salt, but the rest was fine. The traditional cake dome coated with chocolate was super dry (don’t know if it’s always like this or not). During the service, We felt like we’re not welcomed to eat in the restaurant, don’t know if because we can’t speak Italien or else. When we got the bill, the man put the bill on the table and then point on the bill twice or thrice ( some kind of weird manner that I have never got from any restaurant). He seemed to act differently with the others.
