Four of us had lunch. The atmosphere was well-kept, clean, and well-attended. Quick service, with the option of pre-ordering via email for a quicker lunch break. Reasonable prices for high quality. Recommended.

Bel locale, riammodernato a nuovo. Giardino ampissimo e verde. Carne cotta perfettamente e proprietario gentile e cordialissimo.

Lo abbiamo scoperto per caso ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa alle porte di Milano. Locale elegante ed accogliente. La carne servita con patate è ottima ed il personale è gentile Da ritornarci assolutamente.

A quiet place, with a very relaxing atmosphere. Personally I had a cheeseburger that I really enjoyed, a little less the onion rings. The other participants in the evening were also quite satisfied. The mixed grill was not entirely made of prime meat, so some pieces were particularly tough or nervous.

Very good, but be careful... see if you can warn the chef to take the meat out of the fridge a little early, otherwise the inside of the Florentine steak will be tragically cold. If he puts it back on, be sure not to cut it, otherwise it will be tragically overcooked. Difficult balancing acts in one of the most difficult professions.

Grill House, they know how to cook a Florentine steak. I went there on a Groupon for a 1.2kg Florentine steak menu. The place has fairly rough walls, but is decorated with rice paper lamps to create a romantic atmosphere. As soon as we were seated, they offered us a delicious welcome glass with a bottle of Jam-branded water. I prefer to read the brand name of their original water; it could also be tap water. The cured meats, although not those on the menu, were good, good quality, served with small rolls with sesame seeds on top, etc. Glasses of full-bodied, velvety wine, served directly by the waiter at the table. Finally, the main course arrives: the 1.2kg steak with a side of delicious fries and the same rolls as before. Here I have to give my opinion: 1. First of all, they didn't ask us how done (which is usually done). Usually, the steak is cooked rare, then if the customer wants it medium or well done, they say so. Ours was medium, as is their default. 2. After cooking it first on one side, then the other, they let it cook for a bit standing on the bone, which they didn't do because the raw meat was visible along the bone. 3. Once cooked on both sides, then standing on the bone, they let it rest for a few minutes before salting it with coarse salt and serving it. They didn't do this because there was all the blood from the meat on the plate mixed with the charring. They let it rest precisely to let the blood absorb, thus making the inside of the meat softer and juicier. 4. I wonder if it was really 1.2 kg; I thought it was a bit too small. Finally, there was the option to choose between bitters and coffee... Luckily, the bitters available were Jagermeister, which I prefer over other bitters.

If you go to a steakhouse, you expect all the food to be of a high standard. On a rainy evening with only three diners, being told the only side dishes available were grilled vegetables was disappointing, but so be it. Bottom line: the meat wasn't exceptional, and the vegetables were mostly raw, despite the specific request that everything be well-done. Only the ambiance was "excellent," but that certainly didn't make up for the disappointment.

We went here on Saturday evening, having booked by phone a few days in advance. The place is very nice and well-decorated, but we were immediately disappointed by two things: it was cold... we stayed warm all evening because it must have been 18 or 19 degrees Celsius, and the welcome wasn't the best... the waiter showed us our table and only returned a while later with the menus. In our opinion, the menu offered little choice. I tried to order a medium-rare tagliata, specifying that I didn't want it pre-sliced, but it still arrived sliced, I assume because the waiter didn't take my request to the kitchen. For dessert, we had tiramisu and panna cotta. The latter was good, but the tiramisu was clearly not homemade. Total for two people without appetizers, meaning meat, beer, coffee, and dessert, was €88... a bit expensive... and we didn't get a receipt (payment in cash). Overall, we weren't satisfied.
