So’ rari posti così!!!
Bellissima cena, ottimo cibo e ottimo servizio - molto cordiale
I dolci anch'essi molto buoni.
Ci torneremo !!!
Brasserie a dir poco deliziosa. Piatti curatissimi e gustosi, personale gentile, servizio ottimo, prezzo giusto.
We spent New Year’s Eve at Brasserie Milanese and had a really great time. The festive menu was full of tempting dishes. The foie gras was rich and smooth, a perfect way to start, and the seafood starters were fresh and full of flavor. For mains - You could tell a lot of care went into every plate, and the portions were just right. Dessert was light, elegant, and a nice finish after such a satisfying meal. Add to that a relaxed but classy vibe and very friendly, attentive service, and it was a lovely way to welcome the New Year. Definitely a place worth coming back to.
This eatery was just around the corner from our hotel. I would very highly recommend it for many reasons. The chef and the staff were very friendly...all smiles and accommodating. They have a complimentary amuse bouche of cured veal but my wife is pescatarian. They told they chef who immediately put together a vegetarian one for her! The food shows creativity and effort by the chef and it tasted great too! Even the bread basket was special. As was the butter which was made from butter, black garlic and a sprinkle of salt. We ordered the Apple Tart for desert and it was heavenly. It had a thin crust, a whole half of an apple which was poached he'd until soft and dribbled with a delicious sauce and a scoop of gelato.
Went on a Thursday night when it was quiet but that didn’t spoil our enjoyment. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated inside. Each table has its own light and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the courses. Nice little touches such as an “amuse bouche” of marinated veal “ham” and then some high cocoa nibbles after our dessert were nice touches. The meals are quite complex to describe but everything worked perfectly. I thought it very reasonably priced. I’d expect to pay another £20 per head for this quality in Manchester or London. Staff were friendly and helpful and we even got to meet the chef when leaving. This is a little gem of a place and deserves to do well. It’s not far from the main railway station and is definitely worth a visit. I’d go back like a shot. Thank you.
Found this nice little restaurant in a quiet area. The staff were great and social. The price/quality ratio of the food was very good.
This was a surprising little gem that me and two friends ran into more or less by chance. We had a great meal, we tried nine different dishes in total and they were all delicious. The menu felt fun and experimental to exactly the right level with a foundation in the traditional Milanese cuisine. The staff was ever so friendly, fun and willing to help. I can fully recommend a visit!
*5/5 Stars* We stumbled upon this gem while searching for gluten-free dinner options, and boy, are we glad we did! The service was top-notch - we walked in just after 7 pm, and our waitress was super knowledgeable and professional. The food was incredible: the cutlet was tender and flavorful, and the Artichoke dish was a safe bet for my gluten-free wife (and it was delish!). But the real star of the show was the Tiramasu - hands down the best I've ever had. Absolutely squisito! Grazie mille for making our trip from New Zealand unforgettable!
This restaurant deserves a lot more attention. I found it randomly since it was close to the hotel I was staying at. The food is some of the best I've had, and it was one of the rare times I chose to visit the same restaurant again, even though I was only staying in Milan for 2 days. The staff is very nice and helpful.
We went here for dinner last evening and the food was incredible. It was my brother’s and my birthday and we did not regret going there. The staff worked together really well and they served the food in no time. We got the saffron risotto as a starter and the steak milanese for the main. We got the tiramisu and the semifredo for the desserts. The staff decided to add candles on the desserts which I thought was really heartwarming. The semifredo is a white chocolate ice cream cake with a passion fruit sorbet on the top. We had some problems understanding what it was. Definitely recommend going here since everything was perfect.
This is a restaurant that cooked food with love. Owner Anna took great care of our big group. We ordered two cod fish dishes, one was heavenly good but the other was extremely salty. After bringing the issue to Anna's attention, she took it off our bill and gave us a perfectly cooked one. We appreciated her effort to right the wrong. If you had not already, tried this place. You wouldn't be disappointed. Highly recommend.
I had a great time in the New Year’s Eve. The set of foods was nice and I love their foie gras with pan brioche and ravioli (lamb was so good) specially. The staffs were always kind and patient with smiles even they’re busy during this big day. I appreciated that the host prepared the cotechino and lentils earlier for me due to my schedule. Location is convenient as well. Recommended!
We visited Milan October 19th -21st and needed to find a place close to our hotel that served Milanese food. We found this lovely restaurant in a Google search, it turned out be be a fantastic find. The food was so delicious we ate there 2 nights in a row. From start to finish we found the chef loves what he does and shows in the food he presents. One of our favorite dishes was the Milanese Chop and the crispy fried polenta served in the bread bag which we have never had anything like that before, the chop and fried polenta were excellent. During our second night we had the honor to meet this humbled chef which usually rarely happens. We loved the eclectic decor, the service was attentive making everything perfect. The wait staff and one of the owners made us feel truly welcomed, I just wish I would have written there names down to thank each one of them. We do remember the energetic and happy MoMo (Mohamad) he was fantastic. Next time we are in Milan we will definitely dine here again. Keep up what you are doing you have an excellent restaurant.
If you only have one dinner in Milan, it should be here! Every single dish was perfectly created and the attention to detail in the plating was fabulous. We were so well taken care of by the staff and the owners were so kind to chat with us at the end of our meal. Great interior ambiance for the restaurant and perfect for a romantic night out. Stop looking for anywhere else to eat and just GO HERE.
We arrived early 6.50pm for a 7pm opening only to be told they open at 7 but the kitchen did not open until 7.30pm. I showed them their goodbye information along with the instagram information that show 7pm. We were allowed to sit down and wait. We were served the chefs appetiser a fish/carrot/onion soup and bread which was nice. Our order was taken which was their version of a Milanese risotto and gnocchi with a simple tomato and basil sauce. Their gnocchi is bought in and not made on site and they could have blended the cherry tomatoes in 5he gnocchi which was served in bowl that should have reserved for a big salad. The Milanese risotto was ok. Depending on who served you as to the response to a request. I left feeling hungry which was a first on our Italy travels. It was a disappointing first meal in Milan. I looked at 🤨🧐reviews to decide on this restaurant. I should have tried the seven others first. The menu is very limited in its scope so I would expect more.☹️
The name sounds like a stylish French restaurant, but I say it is more like a high-end eatery. The Risoni and Shrimp is a plate of orzo with tiny shrimp pieces in a cream sauce. Take a couple of raw shrimp, diced up to pieces, sprinkle a few chopped scallion for presentation. Edible, but costly for small pieces of raw shrimp. The restaurant opened at 7:00pm. My friend and I were there around 7:17pm. We were told two dishes were not longer available. Hmm, not planning well ahead!?!?! The hostess was just being cordial long enough to take the order. Frankly speaking, quite aloof. The other person, a helper, was actually more friendly.
