Historic french-style bar right in front of the S. Cristoforo Church on Naviglio Grande Canal. They make everything from cafe to breakfast, brunch lunch and aperitivo. A very nice place to spend your Sunday morning, you can also sit outside and enjoy the ancient church and the canal.

Well loved the place. We had a simple, no frills meal at an area restaurant that had no desserts. So we walked here at our host's recommendation. We just had coffees and a shared sachertorta, but it was great. Funky spot with some outdoor seating and small tables indoors. Local crowd. Elegantly appointed and very pleasant service. Very casual. Almost an honor system on payment. We finished and started to say goodbye and I had to remember we hadn't paid. The server said nothing.

Expensive place for this neighborhood. Also they dont serve which I didnt get you need to pay and then take your order after you sit.
