La cortesia e la gentilezza del proprietario e della moglie, in più il cibo! Il cibo è delizioso, a partire dagli antipasti ai primi piatti... un limoncello fatto in casa ed unico... per non parlare della grappa servita in questa bottiglia speciale... un posto da visitare e sicuramente ci vediamo il prossimo anno! Our hotel, Avani Palazzo Moscova remoulded this restaurant which was within easy walking distance. We were not dissapointed. All 4 mains were excellent, the wine list had a great selection at reasonable prices, and the service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Doppio Espresso

We had an excellent dinner here on our last night in Milan. It began with friendly, attentive service. The owner came to our table to let us know that it was mushroom season, and to prove it showed us a basket of enormous, fresh, tasty-looking mushrooms. He asked if we had any interest (I did) and they made us an off-menu mushroom risotto which was delicious. For our main courses we had grilled swordfish (the restaurant specializes in seafood) and steak prepared in the local style. Both were excellent. At the end of the meal the waiter (who was great, and we had a good conversation with) brought us homemade limoncello and meloncello, gratis. I had never heard of meloncello before but it was fresh and flavorful. Neither was too sweet, like these drinks sometimes can be. It capped off a wonderful dinner. On my next trip to Milan I aim to return here.

An unforgettable evening at Osteria del Gambero Rosso! Everything was perfect — from the warm and attentive service to the absolutely delicious food. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. We may have gone a bit overboard with the limoncello at the end (who could resist?), but the staff remained incredibly gracious and didn’t rush us at all, even as closing time approached. A true gem — can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our dinner tonight at Osteria del Gambero Rosso - four of us had starters and mains, and we all were impressed with the quality and taste of everything - pastas, salads, risotto, and steak. Service was friendly and helpful, and the art is also a treat. One of the more enjoyable meals I've had in Milano! EDIT: I've since been here twice more and had equally delicious meals with friendly and attentive service - it's become one of my "go to" restaurants in Milan.

This restaurant is located into a very cozy and busy area of Milan, and we got our table immediately with a phone call just 5 min before our arrival. It’s ideal for business lunch, and offers traditional Milanese cousine, alongside with other Italian dishes. There is a good selection of beverages. The service is very good, professional and kind. The price is right.

Everything — from the warm welcome to the flawless service and the beautifully prepared food — made our evening unforgettable. Very Happy with the food and overall experience here! We set up a reservation last minute for 5, and they were able to accommodate us. Several restaurants in the area were busy and fully booked, so it was nice to finally land on a spot to eat. The server/ most likely the restaurant manager took our order. He didn't have to write anything down, which was nice. He suggested a few appetizers and some wine for the table. Appetizers were really good. - Burrata E Pomodori - Salmone Marinato (My Favorite) - Tartare Di Tonno - Sformato Di Carcio Dinner was also very good! We ordered several plates and shared. The best dish that we all agreed on was the Truffle Pasta (Tagliolini al tartufo nero) and a chef special dish, Paccheri allo spada, pesto casereccio e pomodorini. This dish had pesto and swordfish. Would definitely recommend coming here!

Wonderful experience dining here. Every plate was exquisite and very delicious. Both pasta sauces were magic. The house white wine was one of the best wines I’ve had. The dessert was great as well. The staff was attentive and friendly and caring. We were offered complimentary shots of their in-house limoncello, which was very good. Everything is made and served with heart here. This is why people come to Italy. Iconic restaurant!!

The location is reachable by many types of pubblic transportation. The place is spacious and nicely decorated. I went there for a dinner and the ambience was perfect! Considering the taste, quality, and quantity of the foods, the price is 100% worth it! The staffs are also friendly. Highly recommend!

We decided to “risk it” with this place as it had 4.2 rating but we liked the pictures of the food and we are glad we did. Food is amazing - delicious generous portions and good variety. They had additional menu - I am guessing with seasonal food. We made early reservation - 19:45 and I recommend you do the same - later the place was packed and I noticed that people waited on their food longer than us. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. It is hard to recommend one dish - I liked everything I tried

Really good food and really attentive staff. Had the burrata appetizer, risotto, beef and desert. All were really good. Understandably its a seafood restaurant, but don’t let that detract you from heading in. The restaurant itself feels like you are stepping back into time. Beautiful interior and decor. It’s a really good place and make reservations beforehand.

Ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questo locale e nonostante fossero quasi le 14:30 non hanno esitato a farci accomodare. Ci ha accolto un signore gentilissimo e disponibile con il quale abbiamo piacevolmente scambiato qualche parola a fine pasto. Anche il cibo ci ha soddisfatto!

Bella location, giusto rapporto qualità prezzo (considerando di esser al centro di Milano) e prodotti di qualità. Certo, alcuni piatti potrebbero migliorare come quantità, per esempio l'impepata/zuppa di cozze, ma nel complesso va bene. Ritornerò di sicuro.

We booked via the Fork with 20% off. The food is good so we booked another dinner on the spot. The service was good during the first visited. However, during the second visit, the service was not good at all, our main food was not served at the same time; the seafood dishes contained one kind of big shrimp with hard claws, but the kitchen didn't smash it a bit before serving so it is impossible to eat the part. Also, I got a not so welcoming feeling perhaps because we were using the Fork discount? Will not return.

Quanto ho preso non mi ha convinto: i tagliolini al tartufo non erano male, ma nulla di eccezionale, e soprattutto poco tartufo. La carne scottona era di ottima qualità, ma cottura pessima: la parte esterna era stra cotta, la parte interna invece era cruda. Cotoletta Alla Milanse is disappointing. It's too big and too thin. It's fried too much, and it can't even be cut. The seafood rice is not satisfactory, and the seafood is not fresh enough. There are a lot of fried shells in it. If you don't pay attention, it will hurt your teeth. Restaurants that don't need to be booked on Saturday night may be like this.
