Experience the real Italia! The evening we spend at Osteria Della Carne was a clear all time top 5 restaurant experience for all of us. The pace is high, staff has warm kind of humor, a high service level and you feel happy in all your senses. Other guest are clearly well known faces in there, coming back again and again to eat here - and the kitchen shows why. From their salads with the most flavor full tomatoes you'll ever taste to the perfectly cooked pasta and spaghetti ending up with some of the best meat you ever had. It's simple to recommend this place although I think most of the regular guest would like to keep this little gem for themselves. A weekend in Milan is fantastic, but having dinner at Mauricio and his colleagues is the cherry on the top! Bravo 👏 🇮🇹 🍴🍷

Un inaspettato menu a ispirazione sarda, eseguito ottimamente. Il servizio è attento e l'ambiente è accogliente e casalingo, ma non proprio "da osteria" come farebbe supporre il nome. Tornerei!

Siamo capitati per caso in questo ristorante e abbiamo trovato un posto che fa la carne veramente bene! Preso una fiorentina da 1.2kg buonissima. Il servizio non dei migliori ma comunque soddisfacente. Consigliato!

Osteria vecchio stile milanese, che personalmente adoro. Ambiente e menù sinceri, prezzi onestissimi e qualità del cibo ottima. Ho preso delle tagliatelle ai funghi spaziali. Consigliatissima!

Non un locale alla moda forse, e si vuole tenere un profilo basso forse anche per scelta e differenziazione. Ma il ristorante è buonissimo. Raramente in centro a Milano si può mangiare una carne così buona, con una materia prima di così alto livello. Se ci fosse la brace darei 5 stelle.

Forse abbiamo sbagliato piatto, ma da un posto che si chiama "Osteria della carne" mi aspettavo qualcosa in più. Abbiamo ordinato una "Robespierre" per due persone, una sorta di tagliata cotta su un lato e al sangue sull'altro, piuttosto bassa, che cortesemente ci è stata portata in doppia versione, con il radicchio e con i carciofi. Abbiamo preso poi una catalana ripassata davvero gustosa e un pinzimonio le cui verdure non erano state tagliate. Una bottiglia di nebbiolo d'alba, niente male, due di acqua e due mirti, per un totale di circa 100€ in due, non pochissimo, ma forse in linea con i prezzi di Milano. Il gestore è stato molto cortese ma distaccato, poco empatico diciamo. Non lo sconsiglio, ma neanche lo consiglio, insomma, la mia è una valutazione un po' democristiana!

Questa osteria è situata in zona Centrale/Repubblica e a pochi passi da Piazza Gae Aulenti. Esternamente non invita ad entrare, risulta un po' old, un po' passata e trascurata...una volta dentro l'atmosfera è sicuramente differente: arredamento da classica osteria/trattoria casereccia. Cibo di buona/ottima qualità, la carne merita una sottolineatura. Servizio amichevole, adeguato al contesto. Il motivo per cui ho dato 3 stelle e non di più, (il cibo ne merita indubbiamente 4/4,5) è il seguente: Arrivati alla cassa per pagare, noto che hanno inserito nel conto 12€/pp per l'antipasto...48€ totali per un tagliere con salumi e del pecorino sardo, tutto di qualità indiscutibile per carità ma francamente una sparata eccessiva che ha, inevitabilmente, gonfiato il conto. Sarei uscito soddisfatto pagando 45/50€ a testa, vista la fiorentina da 1,3kg ottima che hanno servito. Per chiudere, suggerirei di rivedere il metodo di addebito per gli antipasti...quello che hanno servito l'avrei pagato volentieri 20/25€ in totale vista l'ottima qualità e le quantità...non il doppio.

Probabilmente siamo stati sfortunati con i tagliolini ai funghi :pasta stracotto ma funghi freschi ottimi. Secondo di carne grigliata buona ma non spettacolare, il rognone molto piu buono trifoliata che grigliato, Chateaubriand buono. Tartare ottima, tortino al cioccolato eccezionale. In 4 con una bottiglia di rosso d'Avola e due caffè abbiamo speso 160 Euro.

It's a 3.5 stars restaurant. Too expensive if you compare the prices with the ordinary quality of their food. The service is quite ordinary. If you really love to eat meat, it's not the best place you can select in Milan. Good news: toilets are very clean :).

Si mangia abbastanza bene. Quello che non sopporto è che vedendoci turisti si sono approfittati e abbiamo pagato il doppio i contorni.

Mediocre. Cibo casalingo senza alcuna particolarità. Prezzi assolutamente non in linea a qualità e quantità. Servizio inaccettabile, ci è sembrato di essere di disturbo per tutta la sera. Esperienza condivisa con tutti gli altri avventori (pochi) eccezione fatta per i due amici del ristoratore che, a differenza degli altri, sono stati trattati con i guanti bianchi.

We came in at 7pm -opening time and was met by a man who looked and sounded like he didn’t want to be there.ordered our entrees with the waiter and then our mains when a grumpy voice from the other side of the room mumbled something to the effect that it was Sunday and no veal and turned around and walked off. I speak Italian and wasn’t sure of what exactly was going on. The waiter left then came back 10 minutes later asking if we had chosen and then said they didn’t have the dish my husband wanted so he chose something else and I ordered gnocchi and was told they had none of that either and I asked what they did have. Eventually got our meal and was asked if we would like bread and when bought to the table it was tossed in its bag. Meal was OK nothing special. AND when asked what beer they had we simply got Italian beer and we had to ask 3 times for a refill. We went up to the register to pay and was simply told the total and when asked for what they got angry and the grumpy man came up and got the bill and tossed it to us. Very rude and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Will be reviewing on trip advisor as well. Great impression of Milan We have travelled a lot and NEVER have been spoke to in this manner..

Let me start with noticing that I’m a real meat lover. Due to the name of the place and the google reviews, I had high expectations.... The starter was not as tasty as expected, I had the gnocchi with pecorino and sausage. As a main I had the mixed grill. Due to the kidneys -which I didn’t expect- the dish had a very nasty smell to it. The dish costs €30, yet did not include any side dish... My partner had the steak. It was good, but the didn’t even ask how he wanted it cooked... Besides the disappointing food, the staff wasn’t very friendly either... Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Abbiamo ordinato e all'inizio sembrava tutto abbastanza tranquillo. Peccato il conto perché il furbetto alla cassa ci ha fatto pagare un coperto in più, un contorno in più e un primo in più che nessuno aveva preso. Quando ci siamo accorti e abbiamo segnalato la cosa in cassa, il personaggio si è pure arrabbiato e ha lanciato indietro i soldi quasi a fregio. Pessimo. Atteggiamento pessimo, maleducato. Anche se la carne era buona non torneremo più. Grazie per la pessima esperienza. Avrei voluto mettere ZERO stelle ma non è stato possibile

Buona sera Ho avuto modo di cenare in codesto luogo PESSIMO: servizio scadente Mentre servono hanno la capacità di prender ordinazioni con le dita nel naso Si spacciano per cucina sarda...ma la ciurma e composta da solo indiani Spacciano la loro carne per fiorentina..ma n realtà e sottofiletto. Prezzi alle stelle per un servizio e una qualità a dir poco pietosa. SCONSIGLIO VIVAMENTE.

AVOID!!! They overcharge clients The bill: We (a family of 3) visited the restaurant and were fraudulently charged for covers and dishes we did not order. 2 extra seating/covers, an extra bottle of water and an extra starter were added to our bill. Unfortunately, I was too tired after a day out to check the bill and paid without going through it, but my wife took the bill with us. The next day we discovered the issue. I have attached the bill to the review. The restaurant was not busy. Only four tables were occupied, so there is no excuse that the extra charges were made in a rushed mistake. Also, when paying the bill, the waiter wanted to take my card to the front of the house. So I had to insist he bring the pedicure machine to the table. The service: Bad? I would call the service rather farcical. After informing the waiter of our dishes choice he started asking again about our choice. We suggested he write it down. Ordered beer and 3 bottles were brought and opened at our table. No glasses. We asked for glasses and the waiter offered to use the large wine glasses that were already on the table. We insisted on glasses suitable for beer. The food: The dishes were bland and basic. This kind of food is not justified by the prices. So, overall it was a disappointing visit.

The starter that we order was not available and much more also same. As a main we had the Lamb chops and antracit steak we didn’t expect our dishes had a very nasty smell and he didn’t even ask how we wanted it cooked... Each dishes costs €30, yet did not include any side dish. My kids also order spaghetti which it comes with lots of paper and salty cheese despite we noticed them to avoid paper !! Besides the disappointing food, the staff wasn’t very friendly either... Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Not a friendly place for turists. Very unantentive servers. Pasta was cold and all main dishes came at different times. We entered and despite only having two occupied tables they rudely asked if we had called ahead. It was a sunday at 8 pm. They clearly only care about providing good service to locals as there are many reviews saying the same thing. Avoid a rude night.

READ THIS IF YOU ARE A TOURIST Im going to start clearing something out. I l know how Italians are, I come to Italy at least twice a year as I’m a citizen, and I always enjoy their unique personality and heat. Having said that, rudeness is rudeness in any part of the globe. We arrived to the restaurant around 20:30, there were 3 tables with people and around 10/12 empty tables. We ask for a table for 4, and we are asked if we called to make a reservation first. We say we didn’t, surprised with the amount of empty tables. As soon as we pass by, they say something line “the spanish mafia has arrived”, in italian, which I understand unfortunately for them. Throughout the whole dinner the 2 people that served us were rude, and acted as if they didn’t want us there. They even confused our order and kind of blamed it on us. I ordered some grilled vegetables because they were “out of gnocci” (they only have gnocci, risotto and spaghetti) and after some time they come back with a steak knife. I look at him and tell him “I ordered grilled vegetables” and the waiter just rolled his eyes at me. When I asked for the check they wanted to take my card to the front, which I wouldn’t allow after such terrible service, so they tell me I have to go myself to pay by card, which is ok and normal. I go with the waiter and once Im there he just stared at me, expecting to tell him how much we were going to pay, as I believe he was longing for some tip. Of course I didn’t tip, I didn’t even order a coffee because I wanted to leave. About the food: overpriced, very small portions, good quality (the produce is good all over Italy). To be honest, if you want to spend 50 euros on a steak, this is the place to go. But you can get better food, with better prices and better service in almost any corner.
