Opinions de Remulass Milano
I was reading reviews before making the reservation and part of me began to worry that the original creativity that remulass was praised for might evaporated over time. But I was so happy to discover for myself that the food was as exciting as promised. The female chef Silvia delivered with her team a really impressive dinner. The foodies are packing restaurant and having trancisental expressions on their faces why transplanted by the food to their dream destinations. Stuff is with its own sense of dignity and purpose and like good wine takes some time to get to know but if you expect from artists to be an servant than you are in the wrong place to start with.
One of our best meals during two months in Italy. Everything was so delicious, space is lovely, and it's easier to get into than Ratana (chef's other restaurant). Would love to go back.
All perfect! The attention to detail on all aspects is admirable! Kitchen-Service performed to perfection. Definitely worth it- all our plates were delicious and carefully crafted by professionals. The trout shashimi however exceeded our expectations! Truly perfect!! Great service too- very kind, friendly, helpful and great knowledge of the menu and its ingredients! Thank you very much for the great experience!
True and clever cuisine. You have the real taste of all ingredients. It’s simple yet sophisticated. It’s indulgent without being heavy or having comfort food character. I had the carrots with sour cream, sofrito and flax seeds crackers. Each bite was delicious. And then the cod with plum chutney and chard leaves. Original flavours especially with the chutney. Delicate and very clear approach that the chef is putting in the plate.
Wow! What an absolutely fabulous gem! The service was incredible, the food unique, and the wine excellently paired. The carpaccio di peperoni was incredible; I've never had such a simple, yet elegant dish before. I don't know when I'll be back in Milan, but the next time I'll be certain to find time for Remulass.
Everything about this small restaurant was brilliant. The staff (we turned up two hours late and they still had a table for us), the wine (a rare grape variety from Sicily that was like nothing I had ever tasted before) and the food. The waitress told us that a customer said the risotto was the best she had ever tasted. We ordered it and have to concur. It's seasonal and on the night we went it was pumpkin, clementine and porcini. Can't wait to go back for the tasting menu.
Absolutely delightful bistro. I came here in 2023 and had a life changing risotto, which I still consider the benchmark for that dish. I have referred a number of traveling friends here, who have all have raved about it as well. I dined again last night and had another memorable meal! Chef Francesco is focusing on seasonal vegetables and his stuffed pepper dish and eggplant with Bearnaise were delicious! Of course, the current risotto set, done with fermented grapes, coffee bits and blue cheese was just as amazing as I’d remembered. The wine list is well curated, focusing on small producers using low intervention technique. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a small, but very popular restaurant, and advance reservations are highly recommended. I can’t wait to return to Milano and dinner at Remulass!
We simply liked everything. Friendly staff from various parts of Italy, extra attention for our four legged family member with spacious seating and water, great food - we had some appetizers and after the risotto and fish n chips (an interesting interpretation) - and nice wine. Really recommend this small cozy place.
Beautifull discovered in a very trendy neighbourhood of Milan. The menu is short and simple, but every dish is refined and delicious. The home-made limonade is worth a try. They also offer a nice list of wine by the glass if you want to explore. Teu the pigeon and specialty deserts. The service was impecable. Thumbs up to all their team. Price are more than fair for the quality.
This is becoming repetitive, but another wonderful meal from the slow food guide. Each dish is pushing beyond our expectation, so that we didn't want the meal to end. Wines likewise wonderfully matched and enjoyable. The staff beyond any expectations, taking time to explain everything about the meal and even the gin we were drinking. Including a visit from the chef. 110%
Very nice place in porta Venezia. Service and atmosphere were quite nice. The food is good overall, menu changes seasonally but I want to mention the fried mushrooms because they deserve a special mention. Interesting list of natural wines. A little bit pricey for the portion but overall a good experience
A satisfying dining experience, definitely worth a revisit. The risotto ( japanese curry with bitter orange marmalade) was a tad bit too sweet for our liking. The risotto was cooked perfectly, though. Portions of the mains were a little meager. I would have preferred that the music be turned down two notches.
The plates where a step up from regular good restaurants in Milan. They tended to be more signature dishes with the added cost. I was not so convinced the higher prices were actually worth it. All plates were small. My dish, linguine with seafood was bland and needed additional flavor....maybe a squeeze of lemon and drizzle of olive oil....or some capers? The other dishes like the chicken was nicely roasted with a red sauce, actually very tasty. Parking was not so difficult. Lots of wines to choose. Reson for 4 stars, the food varied, but overall, not spectacular.
We read about Remulass on the Michelin Guide and were intrigued to try it out while in Milan. We decided to go for the tasting menu, but overall, we left feeling a bit disappointed. The staff were very friendly and attentive, although there was an unusually long 30+ minute gap before our final main course, which broke the flow of the meal. The food itself was good and nicely presented, but the all-vegetarian menu lacked that element of surprise or creativity we were hoping for in a tasting experience. It was pleasant but didn’t really stand out in a memorable way. The biggest disappointment, however, was the wine selection. We chose a Sauvignon Blanc from Italy’s Dolomites region, a wine we had never tried before. Unfortunately, it had a very strong, pungent aroma and unusual taste that initially repulsed us. When we asked about it, the staff explained that it’s sometimes nicknamed “pipi de gato” (cat’s urine), something we really wish we’d been warned about beforehand! Although we eventually came to somewhat appreciate its uniqueness by the end of the dinner. The staff did offer to change the wine, which we appreciated, but it would have been helpful if they had advised us beforehand about how distinctive and unconventional it was. All in all, while the atmosphere was pleasant and service warm, the overall experience didn’t quite meet expectations.
What happened to Remulass?? What happened to this beautiful place? When did the service become so bad? The female waitress (dark haired) was absolutely rude to us! She refused to explain the menu to us, tho her friends had arrived right after us and she literally sat down and explained every thing to them. And since when the waiter who cleans the table with a microfiber, IS ALLOWED TO TOUCH THE FOOD (BREAD) WITH HIS BEAR HANDS??? Isn’t this unhygienic?! I am so upset, this was my favorite spot in Milan However. The food was 10/10, food never disappoints in this place. Please train your waiters, tell them how to be nice to the customers, give them a handbook of dos and don’ts, cause in 2025 I don’t want my food to be touched by the people who clean the table, you can at least wash your hands or use tongs.
