I wasn't very familiar with Friulian cuisine, other than frico, and since this evening I've fallen in love with it. We started dinner with Sauris lard crostini and frico, followed by carbonara and beef tartare. For dessert, gubana. All washed down with Friulian beers and liqueurs. All the dishes, including the alcoholic beverages, are explained in great detail by the manager, who is incredibly knowledgeable and extremely kind and helpful. The dishes are all truly delicious, nothing more to complain about. We know they'll start serving aperitifs soon, too; we'll definitely try them!
It is a hidden gem for food lovers of “home a like” italian cuisine experience.
If you want to find a great place to eat that is unique and out of the way, you have to go here. You will have amazing food typical of the Friuli region in northeast Italy, in a wonderful atmosphere and will be really happy you came. But it is very hard to get to with public transportation, so plan to use a car service. I have been coming to Milan for 25 years and have eaten in many places and can tell you it is truly exceptional.
Lovely little place, rather small, so do book in advance (you can contact them via Whastapp). Went here for dinner as a family and we were very happy! Had the antipesto platter, and some main courses and dessert. Very friendly place, lovely staff and would definitely come again!

Great atmosphere, service and food. Probably the best frico in Lombardia. And of course a good Refosco to wash it all down.

Amazing local food from veneto and great selection of wine and beer. Staff is lovely and owner very friendly, I'll surely go again.
We went for a family celebration dinner with 7 people, they even allowed us to bring our small dog along. The staff were friendly and kind. Very accommodating while allowing us to enjoy our dinner. Sauris was not intimidating as a tourist and I recommend for anyone who wants delicious food and a relaxed and happy atmosphere. 10/10 cannot wait to visit again :)
Thank you Mirko and Christina. Very welcoming and delicious here in Turro, Milan near our hotel. Mirko told us that in the 70s the northeast was hit by an earthquake. Many of those who lost their homes moved to this area of Milan.

Came here with friends, very easy place with some tasty food.
Staff have some problems with English, but food is very good and in good price. We had 2 pastas and it was really good. Home wine is also nice to have there. It feels like authentic Italian tavern.
Great selections of wines and good food just a bit overpriced. Anyway a good place where to taste typical good foods & wines from Friuli.
I loved the place and it's retro look and the oca plate is good but the traditional plate polenta I didn't love it so much
